Question: Gimmick Changes & Turns

Recommended Posts

Bobby Eaton: Disposition: Heel Gimmick: Old School Heel I want to change him to a Face, but I also have to change his gimmick since it won't fit with him being a face now. So I don't mind changing him to an Old School Face once he becomes one. But which one should I change first? Do the Turn (to face), then change the gimmick later after the turn has already been completed? OR Change the gimmick now, and then have the turn happen later? I feel funny about changing the gimmick now, because the next time he shows up on screen, he'll be an Old School Face, but still be considered a Heel. However, I'm afraid that if I don't change his gimmick now (to Old School Face) his turn will fail because he doesn't have the right gimmick for the turn to succeed. What should I do?

I've always done the turn first, then changed the gimmick for their next appearance - have never had any problems, with about 2/3 of the turns in my current game being 'complete success', and everything else going pretty well.

Change the gimmick in the roster menu, wait x amount of days (make sure the worker does not go on-screen), after x amount of days, the worker shows up on-screen. OR Any time = don't touch the gimmick, keep the worker off-screen for x amount of days, then after x amount of days you change the gimmick in the roster menu.

1. Do the turn first, then change the gimmick. If you change the gimmick first, it'll be rated on the 'wrong' alignment, and then adjusted when he turns. Better to have it rated on the correct alignment from the get-go. 2. Change the gimmick, then wait. It only counts how long a worker has been off-screen if their gimmick is set to change. You'll get an email when he's ready to appear again, too.
