Acidburned
Basically I am going to make a future mod set 10 years in the future I dont get much time as I work quite long hours so I doubt I will release it to the public, as I will be stealing work from other mods as a base for the wrestlers. I was just hoping people could answer a few questions for me about real wrestling sort of. In 10 years I know that most of todays wrestlers will be too old I was just wondering who do you think has the potential to become a huge star? My knowledge of wrestling is limited to TNA and WWE, I do not know much about the indy wrestling scene appart from maybe ROH. So which young workers out there do you feel have potential in ring and on the mic? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Acidburned
Forgot to ask are there any current wrestlers sons or daughters that would be old enough to wrestle in the next 10 years?
cappyboy
In 10 years I know that most of todays wrestlers will be too old I was just wondering who do you think has the potential to become a huge star? Will some of your older main eventers be done by then? Your HBK's? Your Triple H's? Your Batistas? Sure. But don't go forgetting that guys like John Cena and Randy Orton are fairly young relative to their push. For guys like that to still be on top of the roster in 10 years is not at all unreasonable. Nor should you forget the possibility of guys who are in major promotions right now climbing up the ladder. Lower to mid range guys like Kenny Dykstra, Deuce & Domino or Jesse & Festus need to be taken into account. I'm sure very few would have figured Shawn Michaels would get as far as he has back in the early 90's when he put Marty Jannetty through the Barber Shop window. The Rockers would have been midcard at best too when HBK and his Sweet Chin Music were born in that segment. And don't just assume the guy's who is obviously better will continue to be. Again with HBK, the perception at the time was that Marty Jannetty was the greater prospect there. But off-screen habits caught up with Marty and Michaels got the push instead. Maybe Deuce lets his pedigree go to his head and Domino makes the star run. Maybe the industry gets deprived of another potentially great trainer of men a la Benoit (although hopefully not the same way). Do the Signature customers all survive the next decade or pass prematurely like Guerrero and Benoit? There are a good many curveballs that can go into this. Just assuming everyone in the Big Two right now will be too old when your time frame for the mod arrives is not necessarily a good premise to be building from. Adam Ryland
HBK and his Sweet Chin Music were born in that segment.
That's not entirely true - it wasn't until many months later that the super kick became his signature finisher (and even longer until it got a proper name.) The "teardrop" back suplex was his finisher, the super kick was just a regular high-level move - even Virgil was kicking out of it :p

Acidburned
I should have put most of todays main eventers will be too old I got plans for John Cena, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Carlito. Its interesting to think what could happen, thanks for the imput. Also there are a couple of deaths of three people I do not like IRL. I just wish I had the time to do the workers from scratch. There will be no global feds just 3 national ones trying to beat each other to number 1. I was just trying to get some advice on people outside of the main two who have potential to become huge stars. Once again thanks for the imput. alanreao
Joe Hennig, Ted Dibiase Jr, Cody Rhodes, are all young, 3rd generation guys who have potential. Ric Flair's son Reid has a development deal with the WWE. These are all guys you could use.

The foundation was laid here. The exact progression of events is secondary to the fact they came together better than most anybody could have known at the time. KeyserSoze
I´m planning (for my own pleasure) an wrestling uchronia, turning from the Montreal Screwjob, where Shawn Michaels left the WWE. I believe the key point to a future scenario (or an alternate future) is the "new workers". The key is to confront the veteran John Cena with the rising star of the company. My 2 cents.
