Probably a dumb question then, but which is the closest you see with being done. I just want to get a game going and its hard for me with the cornellverse stuff. I just never got into playing with it. But I'm sure you guys sorta know where I'm coming from. At least some of you.

Very few mods ever get "done" as there are always things that pop up like X should be in the game or Y needs to have popularity or Z has a spelling mistake in his bio. Best thing you can do (this is to everyone and anyone) is download a mod that perks your interest past, present, future, or what ever and play the thing. You will go no where fast if you just sit around twiddling your thumbs until you see someone post the word done for a mod. What you consider done may not be the same thing that another considers done. Most of the time the "average" player will not notice a lot of the stuff that a full on mad mod maker will notice. One of the big problems everyone has is they want accuracy, well I got news for everyone as soon as you advance one day your accuracy is thrown out the window because things start to happen that didn't happen in "real life" thus why its called a game. (Feel free to argue away now)

But seen as theres hardly no mod's because its still early days I started a game in the SWF on the C-Verse database and i'm in my third month and really enjoying it you get used to your Workers and the whole idea of a fantasy game world. Maybe you should try sticking with a C-Verse game for a couple of months to see if you can get into it, If you have already tried ignore this.

Guys busted for drugs right, left, up, down, etc. Match ratings are awful. Workers are missing. Title histories are wrong. Products are inaccurate. Etc. It needs a lot of work before it's ready for 08 play imo. I've done a lot of personal tweaking to make it work for me for now, but I'd wait for something to come along that is not a port. The 91/92 database sounds good, like I said I haven't played it through yet.

I'm getting all the answers I ever wanted;) Bobinc, I understand exactly everything your saying too. But I'm just the average player and wouldn't noticed a lot of things. I mean, if they are somewhat obvious thats a different story. I guess I'll just buy the game and play with C-Verse for now. BTW...I love playing with USWA for some reason. I don't know why...lol
