Setting a brand split click and drag would be easy

Recommended Posts

Me and my girlfriend want to have a game as WWE and will each pick which wrestlers we want on our brand. Is the only way to do this by clicking on the wrestlers then selecting assign brand? Why cant there be a list of the current roster on the left of the screen and two empty sections in the middle and on the right. This way we could just click and drag into the empty boxes that represent each brand. Seems annoying to have to highlight the wrestler, click assign brand, click which brand then click save, it will take ages to set the draft up. So why is there no click and drag? I dont mean to come across as rude as this is a great game but surely there needs to be an easier way to split your roster. Unless there is and I missed it lol.
Use common sense. Do you see drop and drag anywhere else in the game? No. That should tell you that it isn't currently possible.
Calm down I only asked a question no need to get so defensive. Pity it is not possible as it would make it alot easier.

One more thing I am a paying customer and you feel the need to talk down to me and try to make me look stupid, that is not good customer relations at all. I will probably be banned or something now but you should not talk to customers like that its rude and inappropriate. Feel free to make a comment and then ban me so I cannot answer back. Let me guess theres no way to get a refund either.

Sorry, I apologise. I'm just getting really, really tired of people suggesting things that they've decided are "easy to add" - obviously they aren't easy to add, otherwise they would be in. It seems that every other post I've read today has been along the same lines too. I don't understand why people wouldn't be able to draw that conclusion themselves, and would think that I'm either so lazy that I've decided not to bother with drag & drop or that I'm too stupid to have thought of it myself. Acidburned, send me your details and I will organise a refund for you.

Apology accepted, there will be no need for a refund it was just a silly comment, as I was angry at being spoken or typed to like that. I can understand that it must be frustrating to hear every other post claiming things are easy to add. If drop and drag is not possible then is there some way to have a list of your current roster on the left of the screen two buttons at the bottom with Brand#1 and Brand#2. That way people could simply use the arrows to move around the highlighted workers and click on the buttons to add them to a brand. Sorry if this is not possible either I know nothing about programming a game.

EWR did, but at the same time they didnt function totally like a brand if I remember realistically. Ideally, TNA's X Division would be a brand in EWR, because it was a sub division of the main company. RAW and Smackdown though, there was no distinction between what show was going on and that they should be seperate shows, so workers would become unhappy that they were not being used because they didnt see the brands as the user did. EWR brand splits were more like classification groups for wrestlers opposed to actually being seperate brands.

If you didn't use your main workers (and yes, I played it after ECW was brought on as well) in the set amount of shows (ussually, with WWE, that meant all three shows), they would complain that your not using them enough. Sounds smallish, but it's a huge difference between what EWR did and what these do here. What would be really cool, is if there was a way to seperate divisions. We brought that up in the suggestions area a while ago, so it's not possible yet or it would be in... However, I hope I remember to bring it up again for the next installment (never know when it will be possible).

Not that the person who started this thread did it, but in almost every suggestion I've read people include the words, "It can't be that hard to add" or "It wouldn't be difficult to change" or any other statement close to that. I work in a field where people are always telling me how easy my job is, so maybe I'm sensitive to this. If I were Adam I would get frustrated too. I've been around since EW 9000 or something like that, and I understand that while this program is now making him money, he is also constantly trying to make it the best game possible, because thats what he would want to play. While there may be something we think is "easy to add" there are lots of reasons why it isn't. Adam has a tough job and people need to cut some slack. I need to add, that I'm not directing this at the person who started this thread but everyone in general. Is this game perfect? No. But it's come a lot further than another wrestling sim that came out at the same time. Be respectful when making suggestions. Realize that Adam may have tried everything he could to get a certain feature in but it just wasn't possible. I play a lot of text-based sims, and I can;t tell you how many have "broken features" where they say something is in the game but it isn't. To the best of my recollection, that has never been the case with TEW. I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at that.
