First Half of 1925 Southern Pro Wrestling (SPW) News : (June) Ray Stiller broke his ankle in his defeat against Darren Gorman in the main event. Rumors are going around that Loomis paid Gorman, a loyal worker, to purposely hurt Stiller, the FNP champion. Stiller will miss 3 months of action. (June) Norris managed to convince Thomas Carter to sign with them. (June) As everyone is getting more over, match grades are up right and usually floats around D- or D with the exception of the opener.
Pride of Germany (PoG) News : (June) Things seem to be on cruise control right now for the promotion. They can pretty much put any matchup out there and get a good response. Their popularity is rising and they could hit regional in the next 8 or 10 months.
Viva La Lucha (VLL) News : (Jan) Alvarro Herrera contract was not renewed. A shame, he was slowly improving and could be a huge star some day (B+ star quality). He was replaced by an Australian technicien named Joseph Stewart. (May) Terry Gordy and a couple of other less used wrestlers were released. They replaced them with a couple of other rookie plus Edwin Tufnel (SPW, last QCW Canadian champion), Rafael Blanco (PoG midcarder) (May) Salvator Soto (PoG) was hired back after staying away from drugs for the last few months. Humberto Torres who was released last November was also hired back. (June) While wrestling is not always spectacular, Mexican fans are really diging in the angles. A C grade for angles is not uncommon.
All Out Wrestling (AOW) News : (Jan) Sir Anthony Henry is happy wrestling and making money with promotion but could care less about who’s wrestling who each night as long as there’s money going in his pockets. Prokopios Tavlaridis was promoted as head booker. (June) It’s hard to bring fans in the arena for wrestling in the UK right now, but those who make the move usually witness some good matchs.
Quebec Championship Wrestling (QCW) News : (Feb) BREAKING NEWS ! Daniel Loiselle might be a good wrestler, but he’s a poor business man it seems. QCW has fold after losing thousands of dollars in the few months of existence. Fans in Quebec will cheerish QCW memories for some time as they witness some incredible wrestling in the short-lived organization.
General News : (Jan) Greg Fielder a boxing promoter from New York has entered the wrestling scene. His brand, Fight Night Promotion (FNP), will be producing a series of wrestling events from May to September in addition to their regular boxing shows. They are already considered a Small promotion as they are known a most part of the country already. Of course, Fielder hired Joe Boone, one of his former boxer, to take care of the wrestling booking. (Jan)Notable first hiring for FNP :

Ray Stiller (SPW) as he worked for Fielder in the past.
Adam Thesz, a well known boxer making the transition with Fielder.
Scott Petty, a technical wrestler working for VLL
Thomas Carter, a young American rookie with some huge potentiel and with an incredible body (A in Sex Appeal and Star Quality) that may looked to himself in the mirror a bit too much (F in consistency).
Miguel Anderson, an American technician working for QCW
Kelly Stanley, a high-flying American working in Mexico.
Raul Bruce, who’s becoming the sole American referee with a job as he’s also working for SPW and QCW.
Saint, the first wrestler to working for three companies (FNP, QCW, SPW)
Two times SPW US champion and two times Young Wrestler of the Year, Reginald Draper.
Two times and current SPW United States champion, Darren Gorman.
(May) FNP first ever tour was named Red Stripes. In their first event, they crowned Ray Stiller the FNP US Heavyweight champion when he defeated Darren Gorman in the main event (D-) sending a clear message to Loomis & Norris. Roberto Henderson and Reginald Draper won the FNP Tag belts. The following week, Thomas Carter defeated Earl Peterson to win the FNP Tri-State Openweight title. (May) At Slamfest, Reginald Draper defeated Carter for the Tri-State Openweight title. (June) Crowds were a bit down this month as the promotion went into new markets. In the first week, Darren Gorman defated Reginald Draper to win the vacant US Heavyweight title. He’s now wearing both major American championship belts.

Second half of 1925 Second Half of 1925 Southern Pro Wretling (SPW) News : (Sep) Earl Peterson, current AOW Ruby champion and also touring with FNP, was simply fired without any explanation. He told people backstage at the FNP events that he will never wrestler for Loomis & Norris again because of the way he was fired. (Oct) Canadian sensation Edwin Tufnel was released. Hey, I told you Loomis was a cheap bastard ! (Dec) And we have our very first Regional sized company !
Pride of Germany News : (Aug) For undisclosed reason, former champion Fabi Smirnov missed this month event. (Aug) Yoshinaka Oonishi is probably in line for a big push. The current tag team champion has been seen recently spending a lot of time with the owner, Alexandre Bealieu, in and out of the arena. (Aug) The contract of the Australian high flyer Edward Russell was not renewed as his in-ring progress were pretty much inexistant. (Dec) Former Welterweight champion Hugo Vega’s contract ran out and was not renewed. Financial reasons might be the reasons as the youngster steadily improved his game in the last year.
Viva La Lucha (VLL) News : (July) Once again, Pablo Diez was released. There’s a hate/love relationshp between him and the owner. Guess who’s gonna take his spot ? Alvarro Herrera, another guy that keeps coming in and out of the company.
All Out Wrestling News : (Sep) Crossroads was good enough to put the promotion on the Small level. (Sep) The contract of Joshua McKing, a former Ruby and Tag team champion, was not renewed. They replaced him with a young Welsh rookie named Duane Deal. (Nov) AOW signed a couple of wrestlers following their growth, notably :

Steven Rude, a former jobber that was released last year
The well travelled, Edwin Tufnel.
Maurice Hawkins, former PoG tag champion.
David Manna, PoG job boy
Fight Night Promotions (FNP) Notes : (July) They really need to keep their two champions apart. Gorman and Draper are not getting very good reviews yet again. Maybe fans are just tired of this matchup… (Aug) Payback was the first ever sell out for FNP as they filled their home base, the Weston Gymnasium.
General News : (Nov) Once again, drugs are hauting Salvator Soto (VLL, PoG). He got arrested in a German airport with drugs. (Dec) As you can expect, Don Loomis didn't even remotely consider FNP in his annual awards. He keeps thing to his promotion, PoG and QCW, the latter just to mock Loiselle every so often. Annual Awards :

Wrestler of the Year : Marvin McKean (2) (SPW, QCW)
Young Wrestler of the Year : Saint (3) (SPW, QCW)
Promotion of the Year : SPW (6)
Most Improved Promotion : All Out Wrestling
Match of the Year : Marvin McKean over Alexander Beaulieu at QCW Tough Love (D+)
Card of the Year : QCW Night of Rage (D)
First inductee in the HOF : Frederich Herzog
Fun Fact #1 : Marvin McKean lost 11 of his 14 matches this year. Yeah, so he had an average of D, so what ? Fun Fact #2 : It was last year of eligibility for Saint to the Young Wrestler Award. Fun Fact #3 : FNP is currently ranked #1 in importance in the world, thanks for being the only promotion with any popularity outside of his home base. SPW is still the most pretigious company though.

First Half of 1926 First half of 1926 Southern Pro Wrestling News : (Mar) Roberto Henderson, current FNP tag champion, is officially a suck up if you believe what other wrestlers are saying. Well, the fact that he’s always telling Frank Norris how great his ideas are certainly doesn’t help the rumors… (Apr) Levi Andrews’ contract was not renewed as he’s getting old (45), not over and an average wrestler at best. They replaced him with a green rookie named Alexander Corbett. (May) Interesting news bite as owner Loomis and booker Norris recently got into serveral heated arguments about the direction the promotion should go. (June) For some strange reason, SPW renewd Ray Stiller’s contract after his injury.
Pride of Germany News : (May) After much anticipation, PoG finally rose to Regional ! In the following weeks, they expanded their roster with a couple of unemployed European rookies and Earl Peterson.
Viva La Lucha News : (Jan) A couple notes avec Kelly Stanley : he’s currently a job boy for FNP and a decent midcarder in VLL, high flyer with good brawling skills, decent charisma, he could really be a decent midcarder for many years with the occasionnal stint in main events. (Jan) Salvator Soto was once again released from his contract. They really don’t like his drug problems. Edwinf Tufnel’s contract was not renewed like a couple of others lower guys. It’s the annual rotation of lower talents in VLL ! This means that last year releases are back like Terry Gordy and Pablo Diez. (Mar) VLL succesfully switched to a very small venue to month, selling it out. Alejandro Cano retained his Lucha Libre title over Emilio Suarez in the main event (D+).
All Out Wrestling
Fight Night Promotions Notes : (Apr) With his many contacts, Fielder managed to convince a young Japanese wrestler to come in American for the next tour. Toki Higoshi is a charismatic technician with a lot of potentiel. It will be interesting to see how well he can do in a new country. (Apr) Poor Kelly Stanley, his contract was not picked up by FNP. (May) Once again, Ray Stiller injured himself. This time, it might be the end of his career as he will be out for more than a year with a Spinal problems. He’ll be 37 years old at full recovery. (May) Week 3 : Adam Thesz defeated Darren Gorman for the FNP US Heavyweight title. (June) FNP is growing rapidly. After Victory Rush, they hit the Regional level.
General News : (Jan) Adrian Corbett, a New Zealander shooter fight trying to break in pro wrestling, was rushed to the hospital for drug abuse. Not he was about to get a soon anyway, he’s only available to work in Australia, where there’s no promotion (and where he has B overness anyway). (Jan) Elmer Moore, who worked a couple of dates for PoG in 1922, was involved in a fight with a policeman following his arrestation for public disorder.

Viva La Lucha News : (Aug) I’d like to tell you all the roster move VLL makes, but there’s so many of them each month ! Basically, they constantly move around their undercard, releasing and hiring back a few months later the same people. (Sep) Edwin Tufnell is back with the company.
All Out Wrestling News : (Sep) Both main event got an incredible C- grade ! First ever sell out for the promotion by the way.

Notes : (Sep) Week 1 : Alexander Beaulieu defeated Reginald Draper for the FNP Tri-State Openweight title. (Nov) Roberto Henderson defeated Reginald Draper to win the vacant Tri-State Openweight Title as Beaulieu’s touring contract was not renewed. (Nov) Right to Fight was the first ever sold out show in a Very Small venue in the world !
General News : (Sep) After almost 3 years without work, 47 years Saita Kuroki, a former SPW worker and Sumo wrestler before that, annouced his retirement from active competition. (Dec) There will be wrestling in Australia as Queensland Wrestling opened ! It should be interesting to see how this promotion fare as there’s several good young Australian workers in the world. Levi Andrews, a 46 years old Australian, former SPW wrestler, is the man behind this project. He announced his intention to give women a fair chance in wrestling and created the first ever Women title in pro wrestling history. Notable signatures :

Steven Rude, an Australian wrestler currently paying his dues in AOW.
Edward Russell, the Ultimate Underdog, an Australian wrestler who worked for PoG between 1923 and 1925.
Terry Gordy, who’s probably tired of getting fired and hired back by VLL
Earl Peterson, former AOW Ruby champion and still currently wrestling for AOW and PoG.
Annual Awards and with a novelty this year, after much debate between Loomis and Beaulieu, the latter managed to convince the former to include AOW in the Awards :

Wrestler of the Year : Daniel Loiselle (3) (SPW)
Young Wrestler of the Year : Marvin McKean (SPW, FNP)
Promotion of the Year : SPW (7)
Most Improved Promotion : PoG (3)
Match of the Year : Thomas Sasseville over Maurice Hawkins at AOW No Limit (C-)
Card of the Year : AOW Crossroads
Fun Fact #1 : Daniel Loiselle had a losing record of 3 wins, 8 losses and 1 draw, average match rating of D-. Fun Fact #2 : I was writing the location of FNP events because they were touring in different areas at the begining. Things have change much since that time !
It not unsual for a touring promotion to hold shows in different areas even at smaller level. Also, FNP began with popularity in almost every American areas.
Holding shows in different areas is by definition what a touring company is. It's the fact that a touring company stopped touring is what occasioned (sp?) comment. d_w_w I'd think it would be something like getting close to spill over range, or possibly workers not over enough in other areas. Something that would make a better business decision to stay in one area, I'd assume.

Just started reading this and got caught up on it, this is some good stuff. It's really neat to see how a universe grows from a tiny little base of workers into a big industry like it is in the current day C-Verse. It has already grown a ton and I can't wait to see the changes coming up in the next few years.

Yup, FNP is based in Tri State, the ultimate key region in the US. I do believe they will start touring again now that they hit regional and have a solid D- pop in their home base. Maybe they stopped touring because their workers are not over. Most new random workers start with F in pop at best, with the occasional megastar. I've stop simming for a couple of days by the way. Working on a couple of worker profiles, mainly the stars of each company. I think it could be interesting to show you their skills and popularity. Feel free to request any profile.

First half of 1927 First Half of 1927 Southern Pro Wrestling News : (Apr) After a 18 months absence, Edwin Tufnel (VLL, AOW) is back with the company.
Pride of Germany News : (Feb) Former tag champion Francico Santos was realeased after asking for way too much money for a midcarder. (Feb) Unhappy with how many shows he worked, Earl Peterson (AOW, QW) simply walked away at the end of his contract. He was replaced by former Welterweight champion, Hugo Vega who is back with the promotion after a one year absence. Maybe Vega’s absence was due to his bad relationship with former champion Fabi Smirnov. (Apr) Sidney Garcia is young ultra charismatic French high flyer with good potentiel. He’s progressing slowly but steadily. (June) Steven Rude, AOW job boy and a fixture for QW, added PoG to his calendar.
Viva La Lucha News : (Jan) The contract of former Mexican Champion Daniel Guerrero was strangley not renewed. (Apr) Amor A Quemarse was just a bad show. The main event delivered, but the undercard was plagued with horrible matchs without any form of chemistry between the participants. Rodiguez is an average and bland wrestler with not much of an upside, he’s really a surprising new choice to carry the company. (May) Edwin Tufnel never stays long in a promotion. He has now left VLL not wanting to renew his contract. (June) Former Mexican champion and popular wrestler Rafael Blanco was strangely not offered a contract extension.
All Out Wrestling News : (June) Earl Peterson, a former Ruby champion, left the promotion. He’ll be back in the future, his contract just ran out on a bad time as he’s touring with FNP.
Fight Night Promotions Notes : (Apr) Earl Peterson (AOW, QW) signed a touring contract. (June) 3rd week show was really strong with all D matchs.
Queensland Wrestling News : (Jan) Night of Combat was the very first wrestling show held in Australia. A good night of wrestling but not so good for the women. For the moment, they signed 3 women only, so they’re still deciding what to do with the belt. Still they replaced it with an entry-level sort of championship, the Rookie Challenge, which is supposed to focus to exposure around new comers with more potentiel. It’s a controversial idea as men and women can fight each other for that belt ! Even more controversial, the veteran owner Levi Andrews beat a women to win that belt ! On a more positive note, Roberto Townsend won the vacant QW Queensland title and Edward Russel is the very first QW Australian champion.
General News : (Jan) A new promotion opened in Japan ! Following his retirement, Saita Kuroki went back home to found KINKI Puroresu, a promotion entirely focused on single wrestling. His first notable signees : Juzaburo Maita, the owner and booker of VLL. News : (Jan) KINKI were quickly to hold their first show, The Guardians of Eternity. A good effort that saw Masami Mushashibo become the first KINKI All-Asian champion. He’s a good all-rounder wrestler with decent charisma. Nakazo Erizawa won the KINKI Young Lion belt, a title meant to give a concrete goal to youngster while they are learning their craft. Not that there’s a lot of veterans around, but you know, Kukori is planning ahead a lot. (Apr) BREAKING NEWS Japanese wrestling didn’t last long as KINKI closed in April 1927 for financial reasons. It’s a bit surprising as Kuroki never let anyone knew about the financial difficulties (OOC : If there was an internet rumor about this, I completely missed it.) General News v2 : (Apr) Wrestling is really picking up in the US as a third promotion opened : Championship Wrestling of Buffalo (CWB). And guess who’s behind this projetct ? Daniel Loiselle ! Let’s hope he doesn’t run that promotion to the ground like QCW. He plans to focus less on intense wrestling this time and more on a family friendly environment. Well, with some women’s wrestling in it too. Loiselle walked out of SPW to better concentrate on his new project. Notable signatures :

Raul Bruce, the only referee in America to have a job
Jason Azaria, long time SPW announcer
Saint, Young wrestler of the Year from 1923 to 1925, now working for the three American promotions
Marvin McKean, two times Wrestler of the Year, also now working for the three America promotions
(May) CWB held is very first show on the first day of May. Clobbering Time drew 242 people to a D- rated card featuring only three matchs. Saint defeated Loiselle for the CWB Heavyweight title and Marvin McKean & Clinton Winner became the first Tag Team champions. (May) One year after suffering a serious injury (spinal trauma), Ray Stiller, still currently under contract with FNP and SPW, annouced his retirement from active competition.

(July) In a shocking move, one their most over (D-) and most talented worker, Joe Boone, was not offered a contract extension. I think Loomis doesn’t like the idea of Boone using his money indirectly to be his competition. They replaced him with Alan Martinez (CWB) a good cheap Canadian rookie.
Pride of Germany News : (Sep) One half of the AOW Tag Team champions, Leslie Barnes, an ultra charismatic Australian is looking to broaden his horizons and has signed with PoG. (Dec) We finally know why Salvator Soto always keep his job with PoG when he’s in trouble with the law : he’s a very good friend with Alexander Beaulieu.
Viva La Lucha News : (Sep) Relevos Suicidas was good enough to put the promotion at the Regional level.
All Out Wrestling News : (Sep) Crossroads was probably the best wrestling card ever held. Paul Hill retained the Triple Crown agains Thomas Sasseville in an incredible main event (C).

(Nov – Week 3) Saint defeated Roberto Henderson for the FNP Tri-State Openweight tilte.
Queensland Wrestling News : (July) This marks the 5th time Levi Andrews beat the same women, Saba Papadopoulos to keep the Rookie Challenge title. Andrews only fight women so far in QW and people all around the world are talking how Andrews can’t be men and he has to fight women to get a few wins.
Championship Wrestling of Buffalo News : (Aug) Don’t ask me why, but Dreams of Glory was held in New England, not in Tri State. (Aug) Also at this level, all promotions seem to trash the low level Women’s belt because they only hire 2 or 3 women wrestlers. As QW did, CWB replaced the belt with another Low level title (even though they already did have another one) that can be won by both men and women. Their products don’t allow intergend matchs, but they run them anyways. I wonder if I should submit the situation to Adam. (Sep) Janet Anderson beat Saba Papadopoulos for the American title just as I thought it was a low-level male only title. OCC : Allright, I checked in the pre-game editor about the title belts since QW and CWB has pre-created belts. It seems that only the Women’s title were gender specific, all others have no restriction. I would have assumed it wouldn’t be a problem since their products specify that women should fight in their own division and not against men. Well folks, I think we just learn that all this doesn’t prevent women to wrestle for a unrestricted title even against men !
Annual Awards :

Wrestler of the Year : Thomas Carter (SPW, FNP)
Young Wrestler of the Year : Marvin McKean (2) (SWP, FNP, CWB)
Veteran Wrestler of the Year : Levi Andrews (QW)
Female Wrestler of the Year : Saba Papadopoulos (QW, CWB)
Promotion of the Year : Southern Pro Wrestling (8)
Most Improved Promotion : Viva La Lucha
Match of the Year : Paul Hill over Thomas Sasseville at AOW Crossroads. (C)
Card of the Year : AOW Crossroads (2) (C-)
It's kinda like Loomis wanted to take a few shots at other people with his awards. Like he suddendly noticed there was wrestling in Mexico and wanted to point that out by giving VLL the most improved award. Or by mocking Levi Andrews, his former employee, by awarding him an award for his legendary act against women. Carter was 32-10 this year, with a D average and C- best match. OCC : You know, apart from the title/women contreversy, there's another thing bugging me right now. Why FNP is not touring and why CWB is actually touring ?

Good stuff going on it seems. The title situation does bother me a little, and I can't figure out what I need to do on my end to fix women's titles being trashed. I'll probably go through and fix the pre made titles to be gender specific just in case, but it definitely seems like a bug to me. You may want to submit it to Adam if you haven't already.

(Apr) Despite his well-known loyalty to the boos Beaulieu, Salvator Soto left the promotion when his contract expired. He was replaced by the current AOW Ruby champion, George Lewis. (May) Former Tag Team champion, Yoshinaka Oonishi was not offered a contract extension despite his constant progress and decent overness (E). He’ll be now solely wrestling in Mexico. (May) Another former Mexican champion and fairly over Emilio Pascual was not offered an extension. On the other hand, Salvator Soto is back with the company… and back near his favorite drug dealers. (June) Rodriguez dropping the belt is probably a good thing since he had some troubles deliverying good main events. El Rey is a 22 years old Mexican with decent popularity (E-). A good consistent worker, not relying so much on aerial skills.

Joe Boone will assume all the managerial functions and named Clinton Winner, long time SPW job boy, the new head booker. (May – 1st Week) The new head booker Clinton Winner is already making waves as he booked himself and Saint to win the Tag Titles over Draper and Henderson.
Queensland Wrestling News : (Feb) Just a few notes on Briscoe. He’s a very good Australian wrestler (20 y.o.), with Cs at least in every major category. He looks to have a good potentiel too. A really good choice to carry the company in my opinion. (Mar) Even though the wrestling is not that great in QW, the last few shows were good enough to raise the promotion to a Small status. (Apr) Saba Papadopoulos has jobbed so much to Levi Andrews that she’s no use to him anymore and was not offered a contract extension. She’s still employed with CWB and JPP though. (Apr) Popular wrestler in Europe and UK, he’s currently wearing the AOW Tag belts, Leslie Barnes is coming back home and signed with QW. They also signed a well known (D- in all Australia) female athlete named Connie Hudson.
Championship Wrestling of Buffalo News : (June) This month show was cancelled because not enough workers were available. Daniel Loiselle was dumb enough to schedule his show the same night SPW was running Get in the Ring.
General News : (Mar) Saita Kuroki is back in business ! His new project is an all-women wrestling promotion based in Tohoku called Joshi Japan Championship (JJC). Let’s hope he has his act straight this time because some very influencial people funded him and they have expectations all around the country. (OCC : The promotion starts a bit high in popularity with 20 % in his home base and 5% in other Japanese area.) (Apr) JCC held his very first show called Impossible Goals. A decent effort (E-) in front of a sell out crowd in Tohoku. Kiko Umeri, a well known athlete (D- pop) with next to no wrestling knowledge, is the first JCC Queen of Joshi and Eirko Kawabat, an actual good wrestler but virtually unkown, is the first JCC Pacific champion. (May) JCC Reign of Terror drew 300 fans to a decent E-. (May) A new concept was born in Japan : a completely independent show. Several Japanese wrestlers gathered in Hokkaido to showcase their talent and hopefully land a deal with a promotion. 35 people were present to see an E- event. (OCC : There’s so many unemployed Japanese wrestlers! I’m actually considering the idea of importing a new local fed there to give them something to do. ) (June) Another E- show with 300 fans for JCC Jade Dragon. (June) This month, the Japanese independent show was held in front of 15 people in Kanto (F+ review).

Second half of 1928 Second Half of 1928 Southern Pro Wrestling News : (July) Roberto Henderson, currently wrestling in CWB and a reliable performer for FNP, was not offered a contract extension. He’s getting over nicely in all areas, Loomis might have ditched him too expensive. He was replaced by Earl Peterson (PoG, QW) who’s unknown in the South East but has some pop in Tri-State thanks to a tour with FNP. (Nov) Clinton Winner, current booker of FNP and CWB workers, was not offered a contract extension. He never achieved much in SPW, so I’ll take it as business move to get rid of one FNP worker in the SPW locker room.
Pride of Germany News : (Sept) Earl Peterson was not offered a contract extension. (Dec) After 7 months of absence, Prokopios Talvarisid, currently booking AOW, is back with the promotion following the leave of Leslie Barnes, a decent midcarder.
Viva La Lucha News : (July) In a shocking move, former VLL Lucha Libre champion Francisco Rodiguez was not offered a contract extension. Ok, he was not able to carry the promotion, but they had him lose the belt recently. Maybe Rodiguez asked for a huge raise. VLL owner is known to be as cheap as Loomis is. He was replaced by Alavarro Herrera an equally over guy that was unemployed. (Sept) Edwin Tufnel (SPW) is once again out of the promotion. He may be the only wrestler with E- pop or better in four different coutries ! He was replaced by Roberto Townsend, a multiple champion in QW. (Dec) Munoz is a big heavyweight, a good reliable brawler. He could be huge in the right setting, but not so much in the world of Lucha I think.
All Out Wrestling News : (Sept) In a good news that will probably help them financially, AOW is now regional ! (Sept) Long time jobber Shawn Carvill was not offered an extension. (Oct) There’s not much to say about Carpenter. He’s a decent wrestler in all areas without being spectacular. His main asset is his impressive strenght (B- power).

(Sept – Week 2) Roberto Henderson defeated Saint to win his second FNP Tri-State Openweight title. (Sept) Longtime resident jobber, Kelly McQueen was not offered an extension as he failed to get over in 3 years. He was replaed by the well travelled Earl Peterson. Quick Poll : I checked in the editor and there's no promotion set to open in Japan for another 20 years or so. What do you think ? Should I import one to give all the Japanese unemployed wrestlers something to do ?

Nice job with this. I would go ahead and import one (or just add one in the database to start like next month) as Kinki failed in the same amount of time for me too with the same great cards. Maybe Japan was just down for both of us at their inception? There are just too many good wrestlers there to not have a promotion in Japan. Really sad about Emilo Suarez. He is a stunning 7-time wrestler of the year (all 7 years in my game), yet he was stuck in the mid-card until VLL finally figured out that their 2 guys couldn't carry the big belt (like in your game with poor matches in the ME) and gave it to hiim. Quite simply he can out-wrestle everyone else in the game with solid B's in performance. Really interesting on some of your promotions. I had AOW bow out after just 6 months, and QCW would have failed too if I hadn't intervened (big, big, big mistake). Nice to see FNP go back to touring a little as I think they stop quickly because they can do so much better in the Tri-State plus no one is over outside of the Southeast (due to SPW). Any wrestler bios would be great. Just start with some of the biggest names (title holders). There aren't that many since title reigns seem to last a really long time.

To be honest, I started before 1927 to work on some worker profiles, but it was tedious. There's so much I can do creatively speaking for these people. I can point who's over, who's a good wrestler, who's been champ... but that's about it. Gimmicks and background stories are eluding me. Still, I could put up some stats at least for the key players. As for Suarez, he's really not impressive in my game. Pretty average stats outside his basics, psychology and consistency, the random guys I've got are way better than him in other areas. He's not very over neither. Thanks for the comments !

(Feb) There’s really a lack of chemistry between Gorman and Draper who put another E+. (Apr) Former QW Queensland champion and decently over in South East, Earl Peterson was not offered a contract extension. He’ll be working only for FNP now. They replaced him with Roberto Henderson, who’s back after a 8 months hiatus. (Apr) Maybe Marvin McKean has a big head. 2 months after not getting his contract extended by FNP, SPW does the same. A real shame because he’s real good wrestler fairly over. Meanwhile, Joe Boone is back with the company.

He injured his knee ligaments and will miss a month. With his drug problems, his body already looks like a mess, imagine now. (May) Salvator Soto & Hector Bravo, a young average all-rounder Mexican, are the new Tag Team champions. Holmes & Guerrero managed 15 defenses over their 5 years and a half reign. So far, they were the only tag team champions ever crowned. (May) Something is really fuzzy with VLL. They hire a crap load of undercard wrestler and they use them only once or twice over their 6-9 months contract. No wonder why there’s a lot of people going in and out each month. (June) Victor Hidalgo defeated El Rey for the VLL Lucha Libre title. Hidalgo is a 20 years old Luchador that only debuted in April 1929. He really got over with the fans in his first match (a lost to El Rey) that they decided to put the belt on him on his second match ! He’s already rated E- popularity.

(Apr) If the co-main event didn’t suck with an E+, Fighting Glory could have been one hell of a show as the three last matches were rated C-, E+, C, all the earlier matchs were D- or D. (Mar) Glenn Long (CWB, SPW) a good allrounder American wrestler with a some upside signed with FNP. He’s somewhat known in the South East because of his SPW work, but that’s about it. (May – Slamfest) Saint defeated Roberto Henderson for second FNP Tri-State Openweight championship. They’re hyping intense, crisp and believable fights. Geraldo Ramirez, an old Mexican technician, is behind that project. He hasn’t wrestled a single match since 1925. He moved to Japan two years ago and made enough money by organizing some local Sumo wrestling events. TPW will be alternating three months of tour with three months off. Notables signees :

Shigeru Ki, who worked for KINKI and had some good matchs.
Edwin Tufnel (SPW, VLL) who’s looking to get some popularity in a fifth world region
Notes : (Sept – Fighting Vortex) The very first show of TPW got an excellent review. In fact, only the main event did not get a D- grade or better. Naonobu Takimoto is the first Tiger Pro Champion. He’s a 27 years old Puro style wrestling with C- in almost every skill. (Sept) Brent Briscoe signed a touring contract. (Sept – Week 1) Takesi Yamazki became the first Tiger Pro Juniro Champion. He’s a 25 years old technician with incredible toughness and stamina. (Sept) There’s still enough unemployed Japanese wrestlers for Independent shows by the way. (Oct – Week 2) Things are really going well in the ring for TPW. It’s only their 7th show and they got all D matchs! (Oct – Week 4) Only nine shows and the promotion is now up to Small ! (Oct – Spirit Hero) Omezo Hayata defeated Takimoto for the Tiger Pro Championship. We can already see C- matches in TPW ! In fac, this show had two of them!
General News : (Sept) There’s now enough unemployed Canadian wrestlers for Independent shows to be held. (Nov) Brent Briscoe (AOW, QW, TPW) has been caught in possession of soft drugs.
