[QUOTE=James Casey;583617] *Nod* Morgan's a star, but at his age it's not that big a loss. Velasquez is capable enough, and in time will be a decent replacement (admittedly lowre down the ladder, but others will be moving up anyway) and it's always worth checking to see if Ota or Deeley are available for any regional fed looking for a technician :) [/QUOTE] [QUOTE=LFC_chris;583617]Damn, big blow to lose Morgan, although I think you're at a stage now where you have guys (like Negra, Daniels and Devine) that can step up and fill the void. [/QUOTE] Both of you guys are forgetting about Jared Johnson!!!! Grrrrrrrrrrr! J/k, but JD is a blow but not that big of one. FCW has enough stars on the rise (including Jared Johnson--just had to sneak that one in there), but I will miss someone using the word "Sunshine".

[CENTER][B][U]July in Review[/U][/B][/CENTER] The main news this month is of course the impending depature of J.D Morgan, something I can't say I'm too happy about. Even though he is now 43, he was still performing at the top of his game and perhaps did more than anyone else to help FCW grow. Sadly this was the very reason that the boss fell out with Morgan. Quite simply Senor Lopez became jealous that he was/is not the be all and end all of his promotion. Morgan's contract doesn't officially expire until next month, but with the boss refusing to even renegotiate with Morgan over a new contract, the former two time Undisputed Champion and 2009 Rey de Reyes winner, will no longer be a part of FCW. I confronted Senor Lopez about this the Saturday after Venganza, which could have been one of best shows yet had it not been for a disappointing semi main event featuring the aforementioned Morgan. I flat out told him that his pig-headed jealousy had cost us one of our best workers, a more than solid veteran who added legitmacy to his main event. Lopez told me that the only person who would bring legitimacy to the main event is him. He said that as the boss, he should be the FOCUS of the promotion not some side-show playing second fiddle to the likes of the Phoenii, Darryl Devine and Dean Daniels. I then asked him in no uncertain terms whether he wished FCW to be succesful or if he wished FCW to be a vanity project, because since my booking moved it away from being a Vanity project...the promotion had arguably become the most beloved indy fed off the IWC, challenging CZCW for that honour. Lopez told me didn't give a stuff (well it was actually a much stronger word) what a bunch of internet nerds think and all he cares about is bums on seats. Well I told him to look at the evidence, since I took over the book and moved the focus away from the 'Puerto Rican Power show' that we had grown and were now selling out a much bigger building and that we had expanded to the main land U.S with shows in Philadelphia and Florida (and even though we were only running in 'bingo halls' over there, we were actually turning fans away from our last show outside of Puerto Rico). Lopez paused for a bit having no real comeback, I then departed my relationship with the boss obviously strained. I thought to myself that do I really need this, do I really want to book for a promotion where I was constantly butting heads with the owner. The I suddenly realised that I had put too much of my life into making FCW a success, FCW had become my baby, perhaps more so than I had realised, even if it meant having to overcome hurdlles like the bosses wounded pride and over inflated ego...I wanted FCW to become success and beside I had now settled down in Puerto Rico having scraped enough money together to be able to rent an apartment in San Juan. I had long moved out of the admittedly lovely but somewhat expensive hotel room that Senor Lopez had put me up in on my immediate arrival to the country. That was one thing he had over me, that he was paying for my stay, by paying the rent myself he no longer had that control. Sure I wasn't enjoying the luxury lifestyle and to be honest the one bedroom apartment is a bit of a to put it bluntly a ****hole but I was now standing on my own two feet, in this Island that had become my new home. It also dawned on me that for all his huffing and puffing and me first attitude that deep down inside Power knew I was helping to make HIS promotion a success and that if I wasn't I would have been gone a long time ago. Good news is that we have managed to retain the services of Darryl Devine, who after losing the People's Championship to Mainstream Hernandez should be moving up to fill the main event void lefty by J.D Morgan. The former SWF man will have an important role to play in FCW during the rest of the year and hopefully beyond. Harry Allen also put pen to paper on a new contract. I'm was actually a little unsure on whether to sign Allen but right now I thought it was hurt us more storyline wise more than anything else to let him go but he is one of our highest paid workers (though he did not ask for a pay rise, had he done so, he may well have been gone) and that unfortunately has resulted in him thinking that he should be getting a much stronger push than he is getting. In Allen's mind me is a main eventer, in my mind he's a strong mid-carder best used in the Tag Division. His lackustre run as the Coastal Zone Champion in CZCW did little to change my perception of him as a ' Tag specialist'. Out of the ring Dane O'Hara, Carl Batch and Crippler Ray Kingman also signed new contracts. I'm unsure of how much longer we will have the services of Kingman as he's getting to that age, where he will thinking about full retirement from the wrestling business, at least we have a few guys on the roster (most notably Steve Flash) who could step up into the road agent role (and give us time to find the right replacement) should Kingman decide to call time on his career in the wrestling business. [CENTER]_____________________________________________________________[/CENTER] [CENTER][B][U]Rival Promotion Watch[/U][/B][/CENTER] CZCW continued their recent return to form, with their second strong show in a row with Battle on the Beach (B-). Personally I felt our show was better, because the undercard to this show barely rose above average but it was headlined by an incredible (B+) Coastal Zone Championship match that saw Ultimate Phoenix retain the title against Remmy Skye. It's funny how we stick the title on Phoenix, then CZCW copy our decision and suddenly have a turn around in their fortunes. MAW's Forsaken show was a relatively disappointing effort (C-), headlined by a fairly lacklustre (C-) defence of the Mid Atlantic Championship by Mean Jean Cattley over JD Morgan. Match of the night came in the middle of the card a good match (C+) that saw James Hernandez pick up a relatively big win over Billy Russell. NYCW have settled down to a level of consistency, putting on their third good (C+) show in a row with Gang Wars, that was headlined by a relatively strong (C+) Empire Title match that saw Steve Flash retain the title over Ryan Powell. PSW actually seems to be getting worse not better, as No Turning Back was there second D rated show in a row. Once again The Wolverine succesfully defended the PSW Championship against Tank Bradley in a lacklustre match (D). Thing in this was the worst match of the night and the undercard was relatively solid by PSW standards with two C- matches. RIPW Sanitarium was headlined by a D+ Title match between Henry Lee and Madman Boone, resulting a D+ rated event....so the same stuff they've been doing for the past few months. Seeing as Henry Lee also works for PSW perhaps he has past on their 'booking' tips to Professor Nero. RIPW may have risen to Regional size this year but I don't ever see them having more growth and they seem to have reached their plateau. [CENTER]____________________________________________________________[/CENTER] [CENTER][B][U]July News and Notes From Around The Wrestling World[/U][/B][/CENTER] [B]General News[/B] Japan's newest promotion Exodus 2010 has risen to Regional size. [B]Worker Signings[/B] Following their rise to cult size last month 4C have gone on signing spree to bolster their roster. The most notable signing in terms of name value to Canadian fans is that of Edd Stone, who returns to work for a promotion in his home country for the first time since leaving NOTBPW. Other's to sign on include former TCW/GCG star Jungle Jack, former SWF man Andre Jones, Sgt Bubba Lee West, Bradford Peverall, Masked Cougar and referee Francis Long. Gaijins Golden Delicious, Jana Marie Bowen, Kristabel Plum and newcomer Thea Davis will all take part in 5SSW's late summer tour. AAA re-sign Dharma Gregg, 8 months after they decided to part ways with the BSC mainstay. Nevada Nuclear signs on with CGC. CZCW boost their roster with the additions of CGC mainstay Bobby Thomas and mexican rookie El Mitico Jr. White Samurai will bring a little more name value to the Exodus 2010 roster, after he is the first worker to sign on with the promotion since their rise to Regional Size. Former champion Magnifico has decided to return to MHW. MOSC add Stefan Raynor and Petey Barnes to their roster. Barnes becomes yet another member of the British wrestling scene to work for all three of the main promotions in the UK. NYCW boost their roster with the additions of Billy Russell and Ricky DeColt. ROF look to fill some gaps in their roster, with the additions of Keith Adams and Jay B. Mean Jean Cattley has joined the SWF, however much like his deal he had with TCW, Cattley only joins on a PPA basis due to his admirable loyalty to MAW. More than likely Cattley will be used as enhancement talent to help put over some of SWF's rising stars. [B]Worker Extensions[/B] 21CW extend the contracts of Hugh De Aske, Leo Price and Arthur T.Turtle 4C extend the contracts of Lee Rivera and announcer Terry Smith 55SW extend the contracts of Gemmei Oonieshi, Huntress Makiko, Kiko Sakakibara and June Butler. A fairly busy month for AAA as they extend the contracts of Wanda Fish, Raven Nightfall, Tracy Brendon, Miss Mexico, Stephanie Wade and referee Lois Hudson. APW extend the contracts of Rick Stantz and Cole Taylor. BHOTWG secure Red Panther (Ed Larkins) and Mitsunari Fugunaga to new written contracts. BSC extend the Alison Capone, Alexis Lee Littlefeather and Tracy Brendon. CGC had a very busy month with contract negotiations, with Brendon Idol, Dan DaLay, Dazzling Dave Diamond, Ernie Turner (Assassin #2), Grimm Quibble, Ryan Powell and road agent Larry Wood Jerry Martin plus announce team Jerome Turner and Captain USA all putting pen to paper on new deals. CWWF extend the contracts of Jessica Bunny, Katherine Goodlooks, Steph Blake, Suzanne Brazzle, Zoe Ammis and manager Persephone. CZCW extended the contract of long time stalwart Remmy Skye. EWA extend the contracts of Daniel Jones, Gianfranco Morelli and Jake Panic. Exodus 2010 keep hold of much of their initial roster as they rise to regional size. Hinote Dojo extend the PPA deals of BISON Yano, Battle Sakata, Hirokumi Sato, Ryushi Sato and Xavier Reckless. INSPIRE extend the PPA deals of veterans Takeshi Umehara, Tasuku Shinozuka and Matsudaira Morioka MAW extend the contracts of managers Kristen Pearce and Ernest Forthdyke- Hume. MOSC extend the contracts of Danny Patterson, Jeffery McPeterson, Rolling Johnny Stones, Joey Beauchamp and Emma Evans plus their announce team of Bernie Evans and Lawrence Young. MPWF extend the contract of Apprentica Jr. NOTBPW seal John Maverick and road agent Craig Prince to new written contracts. NYCW extend the contracts of American Machine, Rick Sanders, manager Herb Stately and announcer Rock Downpour. OLLIE extend the contracts of Amo Del Gato, Mayan Idol, Swarm I and their commentary team of Ignacio Soto and Lorenzo Blanco. PGHW will be keeping hold of young announcer Hyobe Oshin. PSW extend the contracts of J.D Morgan, Henry Lee, Frankie Future, Teddy Powell, California Love Machine, Matt Sparrow. RIPW extend the PPA deals of Ash Campbell, Gigolo Jack Stein, announcer Rob L Miskovsky and manager Ernest Forthdyke Hume. ROF extend the contracts of Kevine Jones and Joss Thompson. SAISHO extend the PPA deal of Amane Shunsen. SOTBPW extend the contracts of Marcos Flores, Enrique Merino and commentator Eduardo Prieto. SWF secure Steve Frehley and long term announcer and loyalist Peter Michaels to new written contracts. TCW secure Ricky Dale Johnson, road agent Archie Judge and referees Eugene Williams and Sam Sparrow to new written contracts. UEW extend the contracts of european wrestling icon Louis Figo Manico and Christopher Lister. USPW extend the contracts of Alicia Strong, Stephanie Wade, valet Seduction, authority figure Commissioner Doom and referee Baby Jamie. Eisaku Hoshino rolls on his lucrative PPA deal with WLW for another three months. [B]Worker Releases/Departures[/B] AAA decided against renewing the contract of Missy Masterson. Nevada Nuclear's stays with CZCW turn out to be a short one, as he makes the decision to concentrate on his commitments with CGC and NYCW. Merle O'Curle decides against renewing his PPA deal with INSPIRE, choosing instead to concentrate on working for his home of ROF, whilst also taking on tours of Japan with the likes of GCG. Jonathan Faust decides to leave MOSC, wishing to put all his efforts into his work with 21CW, whilst Martin Heath is released. Dazzling Dave Diamond leaves NYCW after they fail to come to terms over a new contract. I a bit of a shocker, SWARM III has been released by OLLIE, with the SWARM now down to just two members could this be the end for the arch nemesis' of the Phoenix Trio ? Lazy Joe has been released by PSW. ROF see both Ali Bloxsome and Rolling Johnny Stones take the decision to leave the promotion. Citizen X has been released by SWF. The former indy circuit stalwart never made it above being a jobber with the Sports Entertainment giants having only won two matches since September 2008. Yoshinaka Toshusai leaves his post as a road agent for WLW, speculation that he will announce his full retirement from the wrestling industry has already begun. [B]Injuries[/B] PGHW young lion Eien Miyamoto is suffering from Skyclad's Bicep Disorder and will be out of action for around ten weeks. [B]Retirements[/B] Grace Harper a mainstay of the North American women's wrestliing scene has decided to announce her retirement from in-ring competion. Her decision comes as a major disappointment to CWWF who only just recently made her their Universal Champion. As well as her recent work with CWWF Harper also enjoyed good runs with both AAA and in the women's divison of NOTBPW where she also won gold, once as the Femme Fatale champ in AAA and twice as women's champ for North of the Border. Don 'Coyote Dynamite' Richards has decided to hang up the boots for good. Most recently known for starting up 'rebel' Mexican fed MHW....Dynamite was a true tag team specialist who was perhaps best known to more recent wrestling fans (especially in the Tri-State area) as one half of the Coyote Dynamite Tag Team with Wiley Steinway, with whom he won the NYCW Tag Team Titles on four seperate occasions. Older wrestling fans may well know Richards more affectionately for his work in the Texas Wrestling League in the early nineties, where (as Black Hat Richards) along side future SWF stalwart Black Hat Bailey he won the Tag Titles three times. It was in the mid nineties that Bailey and Richards careers took differing paths and whilst Bailey established himself with the Internationally known Sports Entertainment giants of the SWF....Richards still found himself trying to make ends meet working the independent circuit which briefly brought him to SCCW (where he worked under a mask as one half of the Assassins Tag Team) before settling down with NYCW. [B]Title Changes[/B] Debonair Dave Peterson becomes a two time Australian Champion in APW, ending the half year reign of Boo Smithson. The CWWF Universal Title finds itself without an occupant, following Grace Harper's sudden decision to retire from in-ring competition. California Love Machines reign as the Xtreme champ in CZCW is a short one as he falls to Matt Sparrow in only his first defence of the title. Kozue Kawashima wins his first singles title in PGHW, as he takes the Historical Japan title from Akinori Kwakami. Kenichi Komagata and Toshiniobu Taku become the new Destiny Tag champions in SAISHO. Lobster Warrior regained the SWF World Heavyweight Championship from Steve Frehley to win the belt for a third time and Bart Biggz became a three time Shooting Star Champion. Joey Minnesota completes his rise to the TCW main event as he ends the nine month reign of Eddie Peak to become the new World Champion. KOKI Ishibashi became the shock new WLW Universal Champion. Even though Ishibashi had won the title on two previous occasions, he has not been perceived as a 'main eventer' for quite some time and his sudden rise to the very top of WLW has taken everyone by surprise. Also in WLW Takuro Matusumuro regained the Tap Out Title from Tokoyuni Hardcore. [CENTER][B][I][U][SIZE=3][COLOR=teal]Delorean Driver.com[/COLOR][/SIZE][/U][/I][/B] [U][I][B][SIZE=3][COLOR=teal]Your Top Wrestling News Site[/COLOR][/SIZE][/B][/I][/U][/CENTER] [B]Notes From A Small Island:[/B] [I]The road to crowning the 2011 Rey De Reyes Champion begins on Monday 1st August as FCW present Camino De Reyes II from the Ricardo Montenez Ballroom.[/I] Headlining the show will be a triple threat match for the Undisputed Title as Ultimate Phoenix puts the twin belts on the line against two of his most heated rivals Phoenix Negra and Dean Daniels. All three have been given automatic entry into the Rey De Reyes but who will walk into the tournament as the Undisputed Champion ? The People's and Tag Team Championship will also be on the line. Mainstream Hernandez makes his first defence of the People's Championship he won from Darryl Devine, against Devine's fellow Deviner Right member Jared Johnson. Meanwhile Animal Magic face the outside challenge of one of the top teams in Canada over the past few years in the form of The Specialists (Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson). Both Thomas & Johnson will be taking part in the Rey De Reyes as one of three guest performers but will be keen to pick up some momentum by taking the Tag straps from the high flying masked duo. With six spots already filled for the Rey De Reyes, the other four spots will be earned via qualification. Perhaps the most high profile qualifying match see's former People's Champion Darryl Devine take on highly respected veteran Steve Flash. The arrogant Devine has stated in a recent online interview that he has no interest in trying to regain the People's belt (putting his loss to Hernandez down as a fluke) and now has his sights on the bigger prizez in FCW. Will Devine begin his ascendancy to the top of FCW or will Flash put him in his place ? Other qualifying matches see Devine's Devine Right stable mate Bulldozer Brandon Smith go up against the man who claims to represent the 'real Wave of Violence' Primus, in what should be a hard hitting battle between two of the most powerful men in FCW. Angel De Mexico will go up against Mr Electricity and the final spot will be decided with a 4CS featuring UNITY's Harry Allen, Totally Einstein's Bradford Peverall, Capitao Brasil Jr and the exciting youngster K.C Glenn. Rounding out the main show UNITY members Nicky R!ot and Charles Rainier team up to take on the Heat Magnets and former W.O.V members collide once more as Da Power goes on one one with M.C Speed. Carl Batch and Power, who have recently recruited Big Eazy (the former Eddie Howard) to their side are now going by the name of W.O.V Gold. Speed who is now forced to oppose the Batch/Power side of W.O.V has yet to confirm a re-alliance with Primus and may well be looking to become his own man. The pre-show will see the Ring Generals take on Benning & Wilkes and the recently returning Rudy Velasquez faces off with Island Boy Apollo [LEFT][I]Here is the full run down of the card for Camino De Reyes II[/I][/LEFT] [CENTER][B][U]FCW Camino De Reyes II[/U][/B][/CENTER] [CENTER]Monday 1st August 2011 at Gynasium Arriba in San Juan, Puerto Rico[/CENTER] [CENTER][B]Undisputed Championship:[/B] Ultimate Phoenix vs Phoenix Negra vs Dean Daniels[/CENTER] [CENTER][B]People's Championship:[/B] [SIZE=1]'Representing Totally Einstein'[/SIZE] Mainstream Hernandez vs [SIZE=1]'Representing Devine Right'[/SIZE] Jared Johnson[/CENTER] [CENTER][B]Tag Team Championship:[/B] Animal Magic (Masked Cougar & Fox Mask) vs [SIZE=1]'Representing CGC'[/SIZE] The Specialists (Bobby Thomas & Nate Johnson)[/CENTER] [CENTER][B][COLOR=olive]Rey De Reyes Qualifiers:[/COLOR][/B][/CENTER] [CENTER][COLOR=olive]'Representing Devine Right'[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]Darryl Devine[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]vs[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]Steve Flash[/COLOR][/CENTER] [CENTER][SIZE=1][COLOR=olive]'Representing Devine Right'[/COLOR][/SIZE] [COLOR=olive]Bulldozer Brandon Smith[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]vs[/COLOR] [SIZE=1][COLOR=olive]'Representing the Real Wave of Violence'[/COLOR][/SIZE] [COLOR=olive]Primus[/COLOR][/CENTER] [CENTER][COLOR=olive]Angel De Mexico[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]vs[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]Mr Electricity[/COLOR][/CENTER] [CENTER][B][COLOR=olive]4CS for Re De Reyes Qualification:[/COLOR][/B] [SIZE=1][COLOR=olive]'Representing Totally Einstein'[/COLOR][/SIZE] [COLOR=olive]Bradford Peverall[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]vs[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]Capitao Brasil Jr[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]vs[/COLOR] [SIZE=1][COLOR=olive]'Representing UNITY'[/COLOR][/SIZE] [COLOR=olive]Harry Allen[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]vs[/COLOR] [COLOR=olive]K.C Glenn[/COLOR][/CENTER] [CENTER]UNITY (Charles Rainier & Nicky R!ot) vs [SIZE=1]'Representing Devine Right'[/SIZE] Heat Magnets (Matt Hocking & Arthur Dexter Bradley)[/CENTER] [CENTER][SIZE=1]'Representing W.O.V Gold'[/SIZE] Da Power vs [SIZE=1]'Representing W.O.V ?'[/SIZE] M.C Speed [/CENTER] [CENTER][FONT=Courier New][B]Bonus Pre-Show Matches:[/B][/FONT] [FONT=Courier New]The Ring Generals vs Benning & Wilkes[/FONT] [FONT=Courier New]Island Boy Apollo vs Rudy Velasquez[/FONT] [FONT=Courier New]_________________________________________________________[/FONT][/CENTER] [quote] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]Predictions Form:[/B][/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][U][B]Camino De Reyes II[/B][/U][/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]Undisputed Championship:[/B] Ultimate Phoenix vs Phoenix Negra vs Dean Daniels[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]People's Championship:[/B] Mainstream Hernandez vs Jared Johnson[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]Tag Team Championship:[/B] Animal Magic vs The Specialists[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]RDR Qualifer:[/B] Darryl Devine vs Steve Flash[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]RDR Qualifier:[/B] Bulldozer Brandon Smith vs Primus[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]RDR Qualifier:[/B] Angel De Mexico vs Mr Electricity[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple][B]RDR Qualifer (4CS):[/B] Bradford Peverall vs Capitao Brasil Jr vs Harry Allen vs K.C Glenn[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple]UNITY (Rainier & R!ot) vs Heat Magnets[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple]Da Power vs M.C Speed[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple]The Ring Generals vs Benning & Wilkes[/COLOR][/LEFT] [LEFT][COLOR=purple]Island Boy Apollo vs Rudy Velasquez[/COLOR][/LEFT] [/quote]

Undisputed Championship: [B]Ultimate Phoenix[/B] vs Phoenix Negra vs Dean Daniels Well, if you're Phoenix Negra is the same as mine, then he's not winning the title anytime soon. And Dean doesn't beat Ultimate Phoenix, so easy choice. People's Championship: [B]Mainstream Hernandez[/B] vs Jared Johnson Tempted to say Jared wins to get a title back into Devine's group. Not tempted enough. Tag Team Championship: [B]Animal Magic[/B] vs The Specialists Specialists probably on a trade, and even if they aren't, it's too risky to put the title on a debuting team straight away. RDR Qualifer: [B]Darryl Devine[/B] vs Steve Flash The best jobber in the business...........does the job! RDR Qualifier: [B]Bulldozer Brandon Smith[/B] vs Primus If you're going for quality, BBS wins. All though I wouldn't be surprised to see Primus take it and get a push. RDR Qualifier: [B]Angel De Mexico[/B] vs Mr Electricity Kashmir Singh is still boring to me, no matter if he's a fabolous heel or wearing a funny hat. RDR Qualifer (4CS): [B]Bradford Peverall[/B] vs Capitao Brasil Jr vs Harry Allen vs K.C Glenn In a year or two, I think I might have picked K.C. Glenn. UNITY (Rainier & R!ot) vs [B]Heat Magnets[/B] Charles Rainier, the wannabe Steve Flash. Heat Magnets win. Da Power vs [B]M.C Speed[/B] Wishful thinking, I like Speed. [B]The Ring Generals [/B]vs Benning & Wilkes Give them the push they should have already got. Island Boy Apollo vs [B]Rudy Velasquez[/B] Nuff Said

[/quote] He might be, he might not be...the whole point of Phoenix Negra is that it's supposed to be a total mystery as to who is behind the Black and red mask. [I]My invention by the way and it's nice to see someone else using the idea, you know you've made it as a diary writer, when one of your character ideas, makes it into other people's diaries ![/I] Anyway when I signed him he had the skill levels to make it to the top of the card, but not the overness but he's gotten over quicker than I expected/hoped and he's actually at a level where he is now a viable contender. However if he is the same guy, I wouldn't imagine he'd be rising up much higher than the mid-card at best in your diary, with what can only be described as a 'Cornellverse Smarks Wet Dream ' of a roster.

The Ring Generals are in a bit of limbo right now as in that they are able to get regular wns against the jobbers but I'm not quite ready to pull the trigger on them being a threat for the tag titles. There was supposed to be a period where Power was supposed to allow Speed to make a brief comeback but he totally no sold Speed's offence and the result was a tediously one sided match that had the crowd not just booing Power but at how bad the match was, in the end Power somewhat mercifully put the match away in just over five minutes with the four moves of doom, ending of course with the San Juan Rush. One has to wonder if Power's sand-bagging of Speed is his way of sending some kind of message that he is unhappy at being stuck in what is essentially a mid-card feud, well if this is going to be the result perhaps I do need to end the whole W.O.V pretty quickly and move on. Either they were genuinely enjoying it or we need to stop serving alcohol at the shows. They hit the ground running pretty quickly in this match engaging in a neat chain wrestling sequence that ends with Angel De Mexico trying to snap off a head-scissors but the former Kashmir Singh manages to block and reverses into a Power Bomb, getting a two count on the folding press. Electricity then lifts Angel up and goes for a German Suplex but Angel manages to flip onto his feet and catches the flamboyant disco lover with a drop-kick, sending Electricity out of the ring.....Angel then pulls out an Arabian Press but Electricity catches him mid-move and reverses into a Tilt-a-Whirl Backbreaker. Back in the ring Electricity goes up to the second rope and lands an elbow drop for a two count. Electricity then sets up for the Lightnin' Rod but Angel manages to counter with a stunner, Angel then charges at Electricity but gets pitched over the top-rope with a back body drop....however Angel lands on his feet and springboards back in to take Electricity down with a head-scissors that he immediately transitions into the Mexican Death ! Electricity manages to make it to the ropes and then sneaks in a cheap shot on the rope break, Singh then whips Angel into the ropes and uses the momentum to take the Patriotic masked man down with a lariat...that earns Electricity a two count, who then then scoops Angel up onto his shoulders but Angel manages to slip off and then nails Electricity with an Enziguri, that leaves Singh dazed enough for Angel to shock the disco lover with the Acapulco Twist and book his place in the Rey de Reyes. A good little match, that probably should have been our opener, these two have really good chemistry together and it certaintly lifted what probably would have been dismissed as one of the lesser matches on the card by the crowd prior to the show. Electricity also reigned back some of his heelishness in this one and with the 'mixed' reaction to his entrance music, could we see a face turn on the horizon ? Animal Magic pulls off some neat double teams but are unable to put Johnson away and with the help of a distraction from Bobby Thomas, Johnson low blows Cougar and sends Fox Mask out of the ring with a clothesline. That enables Johnson to get the tag into Thomas and the pair soon have Cougar isolated in their corner. The Specialists then methodically work over Cougar, heeling it up by working lots of blind tags and getting in plenty of cheap shots much to the chagrin of Cougar's partner Fox Mask. Cougar's resillience however starts to get to The Specialists, especially after he kicked out of several of their trademark double teams, such as the Double Russian Leg-sweep and the Double Knee facebuster (Thomas) into a German Suplex (Johnson). With Cougar refusing to give up they then set up for the Special Delivery (Total Elimination) but Cougar managed to roll out of the way causing the five time CGC World Champs to collide with one another and get the hot tag into Fox Mask....despite the two on one situation Fox Mask came out on top taking both of the Specialists down with a double Tornado DDT ! Fox Mask then looked for the Fox Flip Off DDT on Nate Johnson, but was clobbered from behind by Bobby Thomas, who then set Fox Mask up into the Electric chair position as Nate Johnson went for a lariat but Fox Mask managed to duck causing another miscommuncation between Johnson and Thomas. Who then got into a shoving match with one another, allowing Fox Mask to catch Thomas unawares with a quick roll up..... Johnson made the save, and then applied a wrist clutch before driving Fox Mask into the mat with the Wrist Clutch Fisherman's Brainbuster he calls the Natural Order........ That almost brought The Specialists Victory, but Masked Cougar dived back in to make the save at the last split second. Cougar was then pitched out of the ring before The Specialists turned their attention back to Fox Mask. But the diminutive high flier used his quickness to send a charging Nate Johnson into Bobby Thomas with a drop toe hold, before following up with the Fox Hunter on both of his opponents ! A worn down Fox Mask then slumped to the mat and crawled over to ge the tag into Masked Cougar and just as it looked like Bobby Thomas was about to cut him off off....he got the tag into Cougar who took Thomas down with the High Rise Cougar Pounce. Thomas then managed to roll out of the ring, but a charging Johnson was then taken down with a standard Cougar Pounce. Johnson then managed to kick out at two but Fox Mask rejoined Cougar in the ring, to finish Johnson off with the Last Hunt (Double Enziguri's) leading to Cougar making the academic cover as Fox Mask held off Bobby Thomas. A decent tag match, but the indifferent reaction from the crowd to The Specialists meant that this wasn't as great as I was hoping it to be. I'm guessing that news of a teams accomplishments in Canada don't tend to travel as far as Puerto Rico. Hopefully they'll get a better reaction in their Rey De Reyes matches, now that the FCW fanbase have been exposed to what they can do. However the crowd were getting into it and were getting behind the recently face turned Primus..who was eventually able to take Smith down with a shoulder block from the second rope. Primus then tried to lift BBS up for the Power Plant but the Devine Right enforcer managed to block and went to the eyes....before trying to dump Primus with the Back Drop Driver but Primus managed to fight out with elbows and dumped BBS with a release German Suplex. BBS got right back up however and responded with a lariat only for Primus to no sell it and take BBS down with a lariat of his own. BBS kicked out emphatically and began to lay into Primus with a series of fore-arms but Primus no sold and knocked BBS silly with another lariat....that then set BBS up for the Power Plant (Running Power Slam) But BBS kicked out and immediately responded with an explosive Back Drop Driver........But Primus kicked out and then with the adrenaline pumping through his veins he got right back up and layed into BBS with a flurry of fore-arms followed by a vicious lariat. However the momentum took BBS into Brett Graveson, but Primus was unaware of that as he set up for the Rrrruuuuuussshh!!! but with Graveson down, Primus was cut off by Big Eazy (the former Eddie Howard that has now aligned himself with Power & Batch). Eazy then sneaked out of the ring as BBS got back to his feet to find Primus down....BBS then delivered another Back Drop Driver and this time Brett Graveson counted to three as Devine Right secured at least one of the spots in this years Rey De Reyes. Johnson jumps Hernandez at the bell, and dominates the early going....the champion's mind clearly not on the task in hand. Seeing that Hernandez is in trouble, Silver pulls him out of the ring before Johnson can go for a solid pin and gives the Mainstreamer a slap ! Before screaming at him to snap out of it, or he will lose the title. This seems to fire up Hernandez who suddenly charges at Johnson only to be cut off with a back elbow and then taken down with a Side Russian Leg-sweep. Johnson then tries to go for the Carolina Crossface but Hernandez manages to block and counters with a monkey flip. The Mainstreamer then sweeps the legs out from underneath the Devine Right man, before going for a quebrada but Johnson gets up and catches him mid-move before dumping him on his head with a release German suplex (This move was actually a bit of a botch and Hernandez was supposed to right himself on to his feet- don't know who to blame but it changed how the match was going to pan out). Johnson scrambles across to make the cover but Hernandez gets a shoulder up just in time. Johnson then taunts the champion to get up, and Hernandez manages a brief flurry but is cut off with a thumb to eye, that is followed by a falling double knee jawbreaker from Johnson who then takes the Mainstreamer back down to the mat with a drop toe hold. Johnson then goes down to apply the Carolina Crossface again but Hernandez manages to fight out of it, only for Johnson to grab the arms and plant him face first into the mat with the Tar Heel Stomp. Johnson then re-applies the Carolina Crossface, and it's looking bleak for Hernandez who has not looked the same since he was dumped on his head with the German Suplex. However with the encouragement of Sara Silver, the Totally Einstein man manages to dig down deep and summons up what energy he has left to make it to the ropes. A frustrated Johnson then lifts Hernandez back to his feet, and looks to be setting up for the MDK Powerbomb but all of a sudden the Mainstreamer fights out of it and counters into the PONTIAC TO HOME ! (Swinging Reverse STO)...... However Hernandez is too worn down to go for the cover and slumps back to the mat, and Brett Graveson begins a double count. Both get up at around 9, with Johnson up a fraction quicker but as he comes charging in he gets caught with a Super Kick. Johnson then staggers back to his feet and is then met with second more impactful Super Kick....Hernandez then immediately slumps down upon Johnson to make the cover....... One....... Two....... Three !! Mainstream Hernandez succesfully defends the People's Championship. A hugely disappointing match. They tried their best but it was evident they had zero chemistry with one another, highlighted by the botch with the 'catch and release' German Suplex spot. I was hoping to run a proper programme with these two over the title but I'll clearly have to rethink that idea now. The opening section of the 4CS was very run of the mill, with the four competitors feeling each other and to be honest it lacked a true heel to make things interesting. It was only when Capitao Brasil suddenly had K.C Glenn locked in his 'A Prayer For Mercy' (Inverted Figure Four) submission, forcing Bradford Peverall to come in and make the save that the pace began to pick up. After that it was near-falls a plenty and K.C Glenn even busted out a spectacular Shooting Star Press to the outside that wiped everyone else out. That lead into the matches home stretch as Glenn pitched Peverall into the ring, where he tried to take the Totally Einstein man down with the Louisiana Spiral (Complete Shot) but Peverall managed to block and reversed into the Totally Totalled (Twisting Inverted Brainbuster). Peverall thought he had the match won there but was oblivious to Capitao Brasil Jr who had climbed to the top and then broke up the pin attempt with the Fall From Rio (Swanton Bomb)..... Capitao then went for the cover on Glenn only for Harry Allen to make the save. Allen then caught the 'Brazilian' masked man with a running boot, before driving Capitao into the mat with the Rocker Dropper and that was enough for the UNITY man to book his place in this years Rey De Reyes tournament. A solid enough but ultimately forgettable 4CS, I think the lack of a proper heel for the crowd to rally against did hurt the match a little. That lead to me playing 'Spencer Marks' for a bit before getting the hot tag into Nicky R!ot who got a near-fall with a Sub Pop Bop on Hocking, but ADB made the save with a low blow, before drop-kickng R!ot out of the ring, that drew me into the and that lead to a fast paced chain wrestling sequence that I got the better of. I then set up for the C.R Driver, but ADB blocked and countered into a small package whilst grabbing my tights to steal the victory for the Heat Magnets and put them in the driving seat for the next shot at the Tag Titles. [B][COLOR=red]Result: Heat Magnets defeated UNITY (Rainier & R!ot) in 6:50 when Arthur Dexter Bradley defeated Charles Rainier by pinfall. I still have that fire burning inside of me, it's the only thing I know, wrestling IS my life and if some punk like Darryl Devine, thinks he can stop me, then he can think again. The next few mintues saw a mat wrestling exchange with Flash continuously on top much to the frustration of the arrogant Devine. Devine then switched up a gear, changing to a straight ahead brawling tactic that briefly caught the veteran off guard but when Devine came charging off the ropes Flash used the momentum to pitch Devine up and over with a back body drop....Devine managed to land on the apron but just as he was about to springboard back in,Flash knocked him off the apron with a fore-arm smash. Flash then went out onto the apron and took Devine down with a diving clothesline, before pitching the arrogant former People's champion into the ring. Flash then went for a quick cover but Devine easily kicked out of that, before the iconic indy veteran looked to put Devine in the Boston Crab but Devine saw it coming as he managed to kick Flash of, but Flash was undettered and he went to re-apply the hold. However this time Devine caught Flash with a low-blow before rolling up the veteran into a small package. Flash managed to kick out but the match had turned a full 180 and now Devine found himself in control of the match as Flash tried to shake off the low blow, but as he did Devine began to methodically wear down Flash with a simple strike based offence. Of course between every punch, kick and slap ...Devine was taunting Flash....mocking the veteran's advancing years at every opportunity. However every time Devine taunted Flash, it only seemed to fire up the veteran even more and suddenly Flash exploded into life...unleashing a flurry of strikes that suddenly had Devine back tracking. Flash then whipped Devine into the ropes, who went for the Devine intervention, only for Flash to send him crashing out of mid-air with a Super Kick. Flash then scrambled across to make the cover....... One..... Two...... Three ? Unfortunately for Flash, Brett Graveson was distracted by the sudden prescence of Darryl Devine's Devine Right stable mates the Heat Magnets. Realising what had just happened Flash, gave the Heat Magnets a pair of right hands that knocked the interferring duo off the apron. However that left him vunerable to being clobbered from behind by Darryl Devine, who then put Flash in his Devine Dreams sleeper...... But Flash managed to break free with elbows to the gut, only for Devine to retake control with an eye poke and a Pat Deacon knee lift, but Flash shook it off and came charging back at Devine with a flurry that looked to be setting up for the Flash Bang but as Flash sent Devine into the ropes to build some momentum...the Devine one was a step ahead, as this time he was able to connect with the Devine Intervention (Springboard Back Elbow). A dazed Flash then staggered into a boot to the mid-section, leaving him open to be driven face first into the canvas with the Devine Dream Drop (Double Underhook Facebuster)...... One...... Two..... Three !! And with that Darryl Devine booked his place in this years Rey De Reyes tournament. These two managed to put on a pretty good 'old school' (with the odd Modern twist here and there) style match with Devine playing the dick heel to perfection. They circle round for a bit, waiting for one of another to make the first move....Phoenix soon finds out to his cost that Negra and Daniels decide to come to an agreement, double teaming the champion. Negra and Daniels take turns on dishing out the punishment on Phoenix and even bust out some neat double teams, such as a release German from Daniels into a leg lariat from Negra. Unsurprisngly though the 'alliance' soon breaks down when Daniels goes for a pin following a snap suplex, when Negra breaks it up and then starts to wail away on Phoenix. This of course irritated Daniels who pulled Negra off Phoenix. Daniels then levelled Negra with a fore-arm smash and dumped the mysterious masked man with an overhead belly to belly suplex. Daniels then turned his attention back to Phoenix but was taken by suprise with a kip up head-scissors. Phoenix then took Daniels back off his feet with a leg-sweep and then feeling the momentum as he began to finally get a foothold in the match he went for a quebrada only to sent crashing to the floor with a drop-kick from Phoenix Negra ! Daniels then went to nail Negra with a lariat but the masked man managed to duck under and catch Daniels with an Enziguri......Negra then ran up the turnbuckles and using the momentum he spiked Daniels into the mat with a Tornado DDT ! One....... Two..... Daniels kicked out, but a stiff kick to the head soon had Daniels planted to the canvas and Negra climbed up top again, however he had clearly forgotten about his nemesis Ultimate Phoenix, who springboarded back in to send Negra crashing back down to the mat with a spectacular inverted rana ! That he immediately converted into a pin attempt...... One..... Two.... Thr.... Daniels dived across just in time to make the save, before slumping to the mat to try and catch a breather. Ultimate Phoenix then came charging at Daniels but was stopped in his tracks with a roaring elbow and then dumped over head with a release belly to belly suplex. However when Daniels got up he was met with the sight of a charging Phoenix Negra who then spiked the former long reigning People's champ into the mat with a running DDT. Negra then immediately transitioned that into his LAST CHANCERY submission ! But Ultimate Phoenix had shaken off the effects of being flunged half way across the ring, breaking up the submission with a kick to the head. The two Phoenixes then exchanged in a fast paced chain wrestling sequence, that saw them counter one anothers moves at an alarmingly quick rate as Daniels rolled out of the ring to try and catch a breather. Eventually Phoenix appeared to come out on top as he caught Negra with a springboard roundhouse kick before sending his rival out of the ring with a head-scissors takedown. The champion then looked to launch himself onto his rival with his trademark no hands plancha but that idea was thwarted by Dean Daniels who turned him inside out with a vicious lariat. Daniels then lifted up a dazed Ultimate Phoenix, before drilling the champion into the mat with the RAISE THE STAKES (Cradle Piledriver) !!! One..... Two..... Thre...... NO !!! That must have been two and nine, tenths.....Daniels can't believe it, he paces around..seething with anger that he has once again been denied victory with Ultimate Phoenix. It looks like he is about to take his frustration out on Brett Graveson, when Lisa Bowen screams at him to refocus his anger towards Ultimate Phoenix who remains planted to the mat, but Bowen's advice comes a little too late as Phoenix Negra suddenly sneaks back into the ring and take Daniels down with a dragon screw leg-whip. Negra then delivers a kick to the head, before scooping Daniels up and drilling him into the mat with brainbuster. Negra then headed up top once more, seeing his opportunity to seal the victory with the Phoenix Firebird Splash....... Negra nails the spectacular move with perfection as he comes crashing down upon the sternum of Daniels........ One....... Two..... New champion surely..... Thr....... Ultimate Phoenix dived across just in time to make the save. Phoenix then lifted Negra off Daniels and goes for an Elemental Suplex but Negra blocks and then sneaks in supiciously low knee strike, Negra suddenly has Phoenix set up for the Certain Death but Phoenix has it scouted and counters into a roll up....Negra kicks out and rolls back into a pin attempt of his own, but Phoenix then manages to use the momentum to lift Negra to his feet and dump his nemesis with an Elemental Suplex....... One...... Two..... Thr...... Negra kicks out, but remains planted to the mat and this time Ultimate Phoenix decides to head for the top rope, but all of a sudden Dean Daniels is back to his feet and he suddenly races up the turnbuckles to send Phoenix crashing back into the ring with a release belly to back superplex !! Daniels then gets up and goes across to make the cover but then suddenly gets stopped in his tracks with a back heel kick from Phoenix Negra...Negra then tries to get Daniels turned round for the Certain Death but Daniels manages to block and counters into a snap suplex. Daniels holds onto Negra and reels of another two snap suplexes.....before trapping the arms of the masked man and delivering a flurry of knee vicious knee strikes....... This one looks like it could be over anytime soon, as Negra isn't giving back any offence, but Ultimate Phoenix is back to his feet and he springboards off the top-rope to nail Daniels with a springboard Enziguri. Daniels then staggers back.....FLAMING DRIVER (sunset Driver) from Ultimate Phoenix !!! One...... Two....... Three !!! Ultimate Phoenix keeps hold of the twin belts, as he once again gets the better of Dean Daniels in a thrilling main event. [COLOR=red][B]Result: Ultimate Phoenix defeated Phoenix Negra and Dean Daniels in 20:48 when Ultimate Phoenix defeated Dean Daniels by pinfall. Angel De Mexico who had qualified for the tournament by defeating Mr Electricity, picked up an arm injury working for MHW that will keep him out for a fortnight, which has forced him to regretfully withdraw from this years tournament. FCW have now said they will hold a ten man battle royal as the opening match to decide the final 'official' participant of the tournament. Check back for a full preview of this years tournament with profiles on the 9 participant's guaranteed to take part in this edition of one of FCW's centrepiece events.

Sweet mother of mercy, push Angel de Mexico. He has the perfect underdog feeling around him, but hasn't been seen in the Undisputed title race for a while. The way he's come so close yet so far, he's pretty much he has become one of my favourite dynasty characters in any dynasty on the boards.

Previous winners have included founding roster member Shawn Gonzalez (now with global giants TCW) , former Undisputed Champion J.D Morgan and current Undisputed Champion Ultimate Phoenix who will be entering this years competition to defend the trophy he won last year . If you don't know already the format of the tournament sees 10 competitors, compete in singles match-ups with the 5 winners facing of in an elimination match to decide the Rey De Reyes Champion. Only nine competitors are confirmed for the tournament however, following the withdrawal of Angel de Mexico through injury. The final entrant will be decided via a ten man battle royal that will take place as the opening match. Likely entrants amongst the ten looking to grab the 'wildcard' spot include Nicky R!ot and Charles Rainier of UNITY, Bradford Peverall, Mr Electricity and Devine Right's Jared Johnson. Here is a run down of the nine men guaranteed a spot in one of the five first round singles match ups. Originally known as a Tag Team Specialist, alongside long term partner Nate Johnson he won the CGC Tag Team Championships five times. In recent years though he has broken out as a star in his own right, twice winning the CGC World Championship and seizing the leadership of the Elite Stable, when Eddie Chandler departed for TCW two years ago. Recently Thomas has been looking to raise his profile in the U.S having appeared in promotions such as MAW and CZCW. The Specialists came up short in wrestling the FCW Tag Team Championship away from Animal Magic, however that loss may well make Bobby Thomas even more fired up to prove to the FCW fans just why he has been one of the most dominant forces in Canadian wrestling in recent years. It could be interesting if BBS and his Devine Right leader Darryl Devine both make the finals. The former SWF star held the People's Championship for seven months but lost the belt to one of the Devine Right's chief opposers Mainstream Hernandez in a 4CS. However Devine has stated that he has no interest in tryng to regain the People's Championship and that he now has his eyes set on the bigger prize of the Undisputed Championship. Winning the Rey De Reyes would put him in a strong position to challenge for the twin belts and he got off to a winning start in his quest to claim FCW's top prize by besting Steve Flash to cement his spot in this years tournament. Daniels missed last years tournament having been in the middle of that dominant run with the People's belt but he did have a strong showing in his previous appearance having made the finals in 2009. Perhaps more than winning the Rey De Reyes, Daniels will be keen to prove to score a victory over the Undisputed Champion Ultimate Phoenix, be it in the first round or during the five way elimination finals match, as he has yet to score a victory over Phoenix despite coming close on several occasions. Daniels however was recognized for his strong form in recent months by being one of three automatic entrants from the FCW roster alongside Ultimate Phoenix and Phoenix Negra. Of course making the finals, along side his R!ot almost led to the break up of their championship winning tag team. Having recently lost the tag Titles back to Animal Magic, Harry Allen is still keen to prove that he has what it takes to become a success as a singles performer in FCW and will appear in the tournament for the second straight year, having edged out Bradford Peverall, K.C Glenn and Capitao Brasil Jr to claim a spot in the first round. On recent form Allen will probably be considered as one of the outsiders for the trophy but his long reign with the Coastal Zone Championship in CZCW last year, showed that he could well have what it takes to step up and prove to be as successful in singles competion as he has in the Tag Team environment of FCW. He has however had some degree of singles success of his own up in Canada having won the Canadian Title in CGC and the 4C Championship, however those achievements are admittedly not on the same level of that of his tag team partner and though Johnson would not bemoan his partner success he will be more keen to prove that he can break out of the shadow of Bobby Thomas by going further in the Rey de Reyes than his tag team partner. Recently according to Negra's side of the story we have learnt that he may well be a jealous brother of the current Undisputed and defending Re de Reyes champion and that despite having recently failed to win the twin belts from his 'brother' that their very personal feud is far from over. Whatever the reasons for Negra's motivation in FCW, what cannot be denied is his undoubted talent having come close to winning the Undisputed Championship on several occasions without outstanding matches against his rival Ultimate Phoenix and previous champion in J.D Morgan and with the addition of the Last Chancery submission to his arsenal in recent months he has perhaps come an even more dangerous competititor. He was recognized for his impressive form in recent months by being chosen as one of three automatic qualifers from the FCW roster alongside Ultimate Phoenix and Dean Daniels to take part in this years Rey De Reyes tournament. However as last years winner of the Rey de Reyes, Phoenix is also keen to defend the trophy he won last year and continue his strong pedigree in the tournament having also reached the final two in 2009. Should Ultimate Phoenix successfully defend the Rey De Reyes he will put himself in a dominant position that would give him the power to choose his next opponent for the Undisputed Championship and with the likes of nemesis Phoenix Negra, Dean Daniels, Darryl Devine and Da Power all gunning for him, he will be keen to gain any sort of advantage over the field. However he will also be defending the Undisputed Championship against whoever his first round opponent will be and he could equally find himself in a position of not only failing to retain the Rey De Reyes trophy but also having lost the twin belts.

Winning the Rey De Reyes has become an important stepping stone to futher glory in FCW as all three previous winners Shawn Gonzalez (2008), J.D Morgan (2009) and Ultimate Phoenix (2010) all went on to win the top belt in FCW *. [I]* In Gonzalez case it was the FCW Championship, that was created due to the fact FCW management felt that the Puerto Rican Title has been devalued by the actions of the then incumbent Hells Bouncer of The Messiah's Circus. That belt was then unified with the Puerto Rican Title creating the Undisputed Title a-k-a the Twin Belts.[/I] Ultimate Phoenix who won the trophy last years and is also the current Undisputed Champion will be trying to book his place once again in the five way eliminations finals match but to do he will be putting his Undisputed Title on the line against Bobby Thomas, the current CGC World Champion. Can Bobby Thomas book his place in the finals and add another major championship to his waist before he heads back to Canada ? Meanwhile Bobby Thomas long term tag partner Nate Johnson, takes on the nemesis of Ultimate Phoenix...Phoenix Negra. Will both of the Specialists be in the finals, or will we see another Phoenix showdown at the expense of the former 5 time CGC World Tag Team champions ? FCW's final guest performer for this years edition of the tournament is four time MPWF Campeon de Mundo Spanish Superfly with the Mexican star going up against the enforcer of the Devine Right stable Bulldozer Brandon Smith. Meanwhile BBS Devine Right leader Darryl Devine, may well have gained an early advantage after the was lucky enough to be drawn against the 'wildcard' who will have to qualify via a ten man battle royal. The spot was originally meant for Angel De Mexico, but the patriotic high flyer was forced to withdraw from the tournament through injury, giving one of ten men the opportunity to book their place in the Rey De Reyes. Whoever comes through the battle royal will be desperate to prove that they deserve their place in the tournament, so perhaps the arrogant Devine should be wary of taking them too lightly. The then battling it out to grab the 'wildcard' spot have been announced as Bradford Peverall, Capitao Brasil Jr, Charles Rainier, [SIZE=2]Jared Johnson, Joe Benning, K.C Glenn, Leftie Wilkes, Mr Electricity, Nicky R!ot and Rudy Velasquez.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Rounding out the first round former three time Tag Team Champion Harry Allen of UNITY takes on the wrestling machine Dean Daniels, who this time last year was in admidst of the arguably the most dominant title reign in FCW history, with his reign with the People's belt that would go on to last for a whole year. [/SIZE] The five winners will then battle it out for the Rey De Reyes in the always thrilling elimination match that has produced MOTYC in FCW for several years running. [SIZE=2]Meanwhile the Tag Team and People's Titles' will also be on the line as the Heat Magnets get their two on two shot with Animal Magic, whilst Mainstream Hernandez will defend his People's belt against one of the most respected men in not only the entire FCW locker-room but the whole of wrestling Steve Flash.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]Meanwhile the battle of Wave of Violence continues as Primus reunites his championship winning team with M.C Speed to take on the newly christened W.O.V Gold of Da Power and the wrestler formerly known as Eddie Howard, Big Eazy.[/SIZE] [SIZE=2]The pre-show will see The Ring Generals take on the pairing of Island Boy Apollo and Captain Morgan. [B]O.O.C Note:[/B] This stupid editor is driving me up the wall, I've tried formatting the card rundown and predictions form correctly about ten times now and it keeps on putting in 'rogue' gaps. Just really frustrating...i've managed to get it back to a reasonable level, but even then it's not perfect but honestly after about the tenth time, I concede defeat.

I really wouldn't worry about it. This diary is far too good and the event is far to big for a rouge gap to deter predictions.

[B][U]Rey De Reyes 2011[/U][/B] 10 Man Wildcard Battle Royal: Bradford Peverall, Capitao Brasil Jr, Charles Rainier, Jared Johnson, Joe Benning, K.C Glenn, Leftie Wilkes, Mr Electricity, Nicky R!ot, [B]Rudy Velasquez[/B]. [I]- This is pure guessery on my part, as way of apology he wins the battle royale only to go on to lose to Darryl Devine. It also helps Velasquez shake off more ring rust.[/I] RDR Round 1/ Undisputed Championship: [B]Ultimate Phoenix[/B] vs Bobby Thomas [I]- If Bobby Thomas were up against anyone else, I'd have picked him but I don't see FCW allowing their champ to be pinned by CGC's champ. Which is too bad because my fantasy booking would have gone in a very different direction.[/I] RDR Round 1: [B]Phoenix Negra[/B] vs Nate Johnson[I] - I'd like to see Johnson win here, it would give the great storyline of HUGE in Puerto Rico he could run with Thomas, but Negra's gonna win it all so... there's my big pick.[/I] RDR Round 1: Bulldozer Brandon Smith vs [B]Spanish Superfly[/B] [I]- Divine Right stable only goes one for two, as the Superfly makes the finals.[/I] RDR Round 1: [B]Dean Daniels[/B] vs Harry Allen [I]- Sorry Grungey but Deano Machino has been on a role of late and you're not about to topple him after his mediocre CZCW title reign.[/I] RDR Round 1: [B]Darryl Devine[/B] vs 'Wildcard' [I]- DD wins regardless of the Wildcard.[/I] RDR Finals: Phoenix (Ultimate variety) vs [B]Phoenix (Negra version)[/B] vs Dean Daniels vs Spanish Superfly vs Darryl Devine [I]- Following in his brother's footsteps and amping up the rivalry.[/I] People's Championship: [B]Mainstream Hernandez[/B] vs Steve Flash [I]- This could go either way, but Flash hasn't been too flashy since returning so the Mainstream Nation can celebrate into the San Juan Night.[/I] Tag Team Championship: [B]Animal Magic[/B] vs Heat Magnets [I]- Because I don't buy the Magnets as drawing heat or anything for that reason.[/I] [B]Da Power & Big Eazy[/B] vs Primus & M.C Speed [I]- I believe the term is 'owner's creative hissy fit control.'[/I] [B]The Ring Generals[/B] vs Island Boy Apollo & Captain Morgan [I]- It's likely too late for the Generals, but they still should triumph over Morgan and his first mate.[/I]
