10 Man Wildcard Battle Royal: Bradford Peverall, Capitao Brasil Jr, Charles Rainier, Jared Johnson, Joe Benning, K.C Glenn, Leftie Wilkes, Mr Electricity, Nicky R!ot, Rudy Velasquez. Part of me wanted to go with Rudy as a way of redebuting him, but I think he still has ring-rust. R!ot is the biggest name here, I reckon, and it needs to be a face win. RDR Round 1/ Undisputed Championship: Ultimate Phoenix vs Bobby Thomas There is no way on this earth Bobby Thomas becomes your Undisputed Champion. RDR Round 1: Phoenix Negra vs Nate Johnson The Specialists are fairly useless on their own, I find. Dunno what it is about GCG tag team members going solo that never seems to work... They're just a bit dull, I reckon. RDR Round 1: Bulldozer Brandon Smith vs Spanish Superfly I think we end up with all heels in the RDR except Ultimate. Hence, BBS has to win here. Nice way of having tension/teaming with Devine too... RDR Round 1: Dean Daniels vs Harry Allen The rise and rise of TAFKA Deano Machino continues. RDR Round 1: Darryl Devine vs 'Wildcard' Double D wins, as is his wont. R!ot's frustration continues to grow. RDR Finals Winner: Dean Daniels Okay, so I see this gooing a lot of ways, (Tigerkinney special, yo) but part of me really wants to see Ultimate going through the match with a target on his back, but valiantly eliminating the other three. After he is beaten down, Dean wil FINALLY get a victory over him. Or Negra wins to one-up his brother. Or Devine continues his ascension. Or Ultimate even repeats... Danged if I know. People's Championship: Mainstream Hernandez vs Steve Flash While the Mainstreamer's run hasn't got off to a flying start, he's still got more momentum and upside than the pretty disappointing Steve Flash... Tag Team Championship: Animal Magic vs Heat Magnets I think they might be waiting to drop these to WOV Gold. Having HM as Devine Right's designatedwhipping boys is only good sense, too. Da Power & Big Eazy vs Primus & M.C Speed Distrust in the ex-championship team and Power's Creative Control mean a Gold win. I somehow see Rudy getting involved in this mess at some point, to... The Ring Generals vs Island Boy Apollo & Captain Morgan Yup.

O.O.C Note: No more predictions, the cut off point has arrived. This is a long show (the first 3 hour show in FCW history) and with ten matches I'll be doing it in two parts. Part 1 (matches 1-5) is going up tonight (probably in the next hour or so), whilst Part 2 should be up either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Next out is Rudy Velasquez (2 Min) Not much happens in the next minute, when out comes Bradford Peverall (3 min). Peverall is all business, as he unloads of everyone else with a series of European Uppercuts. He almost eliminates K.C Glenn but the youngster saves himself and comes back with a springboard missile drop-kick to stop Peverall in his tracks. Next out is Joe Benning (4 min) still no one eliminated but Velasquez is pairing up with Capitao Brasil Jr and almost has the masked Brazilian out of the ring. Out next is myself (Charles Rainier (5 min)....I immediately go over to help Velasquez try and eliminate Capitao, but Capitao ducks out of the way of a spin kick and I end up catching Velasquez...the momentum of which sends him tumbling over the top rope. Elimination #1: Rudy Velasquez @ 5.18 Velasquez is none too happy and is giving me the bad mouth on his way back up the ramp, I try my best to apologise, saying it was an 'accident' but the fellow UNITY original is having none of it. Benning then jumps me from behind and tries to eliminate me, but I manage to fight off his attempts and I end up drilling him with the C.R Driver ! Out next is Nicky R!ot (6 min)....he looks at me and there seems to be some tension between us following our heated discussion during the pre-show but all differences are put aside as he immediately goes to work in helping me dump Joe Benning out of the ring. Elimination #2: Joe Benning @ 6:23 Meanwhile K.C Glenn and Bradford Peverall are still locked in a stale mate with one another, whilst Capitao Brasil Jr is trying desperately to stay out of the way. A brief tense pause then sees myself and R!ot decide to go after Glenn and Peverall who find themselves trying to survive elimination at our hands. Next entrant is Mr Electricity (7 min) who slowly makes his way down to the ring to I Want Your Love by Chic (not much love from the apart from the small but growing section that appear to be a Mr Electricity fan club). Capitao Brasil Jr suddenly comes alive and takes down Mr Electricity with a spinning head scissors and then comes charging at the former Kashmir Singh, but the disco lover uses the momentum to pitch Capitao up and over with a back body drop....the masked man lands on his feet but is immediately levelled with a clothesline from Mr Electricity....that knocks the masked Brazilian out of the ring, making Capitao the third person to be eliminated from the match Elimination #3: Capitao Brasil Jr @ 7:30 The penultimate entrant is Leftie Wilkes (8 min) and he tries to make an immediate impression by springboarding into the ring, unfortunately for him he is knocked out of mid-air with a ROCK HARD UPPERCUT ! from Bradford Peverall who had survived elimination at the hands of Nicky R!ot. Wilkes landed hard and was immediately dumped out of the ring, having only lasted in the match a mere ten seconds ! Elimination #4: Leftie Wilkes @ 8:11 The final entrant was Devine Right's Jared Johnson (9 min)....everyone looked at each other and all decided it was all in our best interests to team up on Johnson who was the freshest participant in the match. Even Mr Electricity seemed down with the idea until he caught me with a low blow. Electricity and Johnson then teamed up to great effect, as the two freshest men in the match cleaned house on everyone else. Funny spot as myself and Nicky R!ot are slumped in opposite corners, Mr Electricity then proceeds to do taunting kicks on myself (to a disco dancin' motion), that finishes with him sneaking in a low blow and Johnson joins by doing the same to R!ot. Meanwhile Peverall and Glenn are both trying to catch a breather. Looking rather pleased with themselves Johnson and Electricity then high five each other. Glenn and Peverall then get back up taking the fight to Johnson and Electricity but it's the two heels are standing tall once again as Johnson drills Glenn into the mat with a DDT, followed by the Tar Heel Stomp Meanwhile, Mr Electricity blocks a European Uppercut, to then plant Peverall into the mat with the LIGHTNIN' ROD (Falcon Arrow) Johnson and Electricity then do the same to Peverall and Glenn as they did to myself and R!ot and once again the heel pair celebrate their domination with a high five.Glenn then bravely staggers out of the corner but is met with a clothesline from Electricity, which is then followed by the youngster who had done well to last this far from the beginning being dumped out of the ring Elimination #5: K.C Glenn @ 11:49 Electricity and Johnson then continued to stomp away on the other three, to keep themselves in control of the match. This was then followed by celebratory disco dance between Johnson and Electricity who felt they had the match in the bag. But then suddenly out of nowhere Johnson takes Electricity by surprise with the MDK POWERBOMB !! before dumping the flamboyant disco dancer out of the ring ! Elimination #6: Mr Electricity @13.12 Johnson's looking very pleased with himself, but then he comes to the realisation that he's probably made a major mistake and it's now three on one as Bradford Peverall, Nicky R!ot an Charles Rainier are all back up and they all decide to gang up on the Devine Right member. Peverall levels Johnson with the Rock Hard Uppercut, which then leads into R!ot decapatating Johnson with the Sub Pop Bop....that then leads to Johnson being dumped out of the ring and eliminated from the match. Elimination #7: Jared Johnson @ 15:27 Suddenly though Peverall finds himself on the end of a two on one, as myself and R!ot work together to try and eliminate the Totally Einstein man from the match, but Peverall manages to duck under a Sub Pop Bop from R!ot and instesd I get decapitated with the move. Peverall then dumps me over the top rope as R!ot makes no effort what so ever to make the save ! The fans are left wondering if that really was accidental from R!ot or if I was in fact his intended target. Elimination # 8: Charles Rainier @ 16:34 Peverall then rocks R!ot with a series of European uppercuts that softens R!ot up before Peverall tries to push the UNITY man over the rope, but then R!ot gets a front facelock and sends both of them over the top with the 'CHARLES PETERSON' (Exploder Suplex) Both land on the floor and the crowd wait for Brett Gravesons' decision......... Graveson declares that Peverall's feet touched the ground first , so Nicky R!ot is declared the winner and will advance to face Darryl Devine in the Rey De Reyes. This was a solid battle royal, that moved along at a quick pace but also gave enough time for a few angles and alliances to form during the match, the Johnson/Electricity domination was particularly entertaining as they played to the crowd with Johnson 'getting down' with Mr Electricity disco schtik before turning on his fellow heel. Result: Nicky R!ot won a battle royal in 18:19. The final four competitors also included Bradford Peverell, Jared Johnson and Charles Rainier, with Bradford Peverall being the final elimination. Rating: C- ___________________________________________________ W.O.V Gold are backstage and they have some words for their up-coming opponents former stable mates of Da Power and Carl Batch , Primus & M.C Speed Carl Batch: Yeah ! Eventually it settled down with the W.O.V originals of Primus and Speed in control with Speed neutralizing Power in the Heel Hook !.....Big Eazy however managed to dive in and make the save and cleaned house for a brief period to allow the former Undisputed champ to get the tag in. However Primus was back up and he stopped Eazy in his tracks with a clothesline....before impressively lifting the former Eddie Howard onto his shoulders. Speed then went up top as the former tag champs set up for the Gangsta Device but Eazy managed to slip off at the last split second and Speed ending up colliding with Primus. Eazy then levelled Speed with a Big Boot, before lifting the W.O.V up and driving him back down to the mat with the Natural Ending (Release Powerbomb) to pick up the victory for W.O.V Gold. This was an ok match but it was definately just there as filler and felt a bit rushed, despite the fact that there is a grudge between these four. Had we not changed our plans to include the battle royal this probably would have got a little more time. To be honest this whole W.O.V break up feud probably doesn't have much more legs because neither Primus or Speed are over enough to warrant a big win over Da Power, which has resulted in one sided feud. Perhaps it's something I'll need to move away from and then revisit later if either of them (more likely Primus) are able to get over enough to revisit the feud. Result: Da Power and Big Eazy defeated Primus and M.C Speed in 5:37 when Big Eazy defeated M.C Speed by pinfall. I don't care that it's got two belts, it's still second rate...... At that point Ultimate Phoenix comes out onto the entrance ramp, and he has a microphone of his own...... Ultimate Phoenix: OK Robert.....if these belts are so worthless, I guess you want a non title match ? Bobby Thomas: What scared to put them on the line are we Phoenix ? Ultimate Phoenix: Far from it and to be honest I like everyone else is fed up of hearing you run your mouth and I'll show you that actions speak louder than words...... Phoenix then drops his microphone and charges the ring. Phoenix then races up the turnbuckle and spikes Thomas into the mat with a Tornado DDT ! One..... Two......... Thr...... Bobby Thomas manages to kick out but this could have been all over in the first minute. Phoenix then goes up top and looks to be going for the Phoenix Firebird Splash but Bobby Thomas manages to roll out of the ring for a powder. Phoenix however never launched himself off the top turnbuckle and instead dives to the outside onto Thomas with a front flip, before getting back up to high five the fans in the front row. Phoenix then pitches the CGC World Champion back into the ring, before bringing himself back in with a slingshot senton but Thomas has the prescence of mind to get the knees up. Thomas remains rooted to the mat however but it manages to buy him a bit more time and a chance to get a foothold back in the match. Ultimate Phoenix is up first, having shaken off the shock of having Thomas' knees stuck in his back. However as Phoenix moves in, Thomas sneaks in a low blow. The CGC Champion then gets back to his feet and takes Phoenix down to the mat with a side russian leg sweep.....Phoenix gets right back up but is levelled with a fore-arm smash from Thomas, who then takes the champion down with a back heel trip. Thomas then slows the pace down as he places the popular champion in a side headlock. Phoenix manages to rise back to his feet, but all he gets is an eye-rake for his troubles and he's taken back down to the mat with snapmare before Thomas drops back down himself to re-apply the side headlock. This time the CGC World Champion has it locked on tight and Phoenix begins to fade...... But the Undisputed Champion here's the cheers of the fans ringing in his ears and he starts to rise back to his feet. Eventually he frees himself with some elbows to the mid-section of the CGC man....he then creates some separation with a flurry of kicks...... Phoenix then springs off the ropes but Thomas' catches him in mid-flight before spinning round and dumping Phoenix throat-first onto the top-rope with a hot-shot. Phoenix then stumbles back towards Thomas who then dumps the Undisputed Champion with a bridging German Suplex....... One...... Two...... Phoenix kicks out, but Thomas immediately turns Phoenix over, lifting him back to a vertical base and then converting into the SPECIALPLEX (Fisherman's Suplex)...... One...... Two....... Thr....... Even close that time, but once again Phoenix gets his shoulder up just in time, much to the frustation of Bobby Thomas who paces round for a little bit, contemplating his next move. Thomas then moves back in, taunting Phoenix to get back to his feet, paintbrushing the defending Rey De Reyes champion..... This only seems to fire up Phoenix who comes back with a flurry of strikes, but Thomas cuts off the flurry with a Pat Deacon knee lift.... Thomas then applies a front facelock but Phoenix has him scouted and slips out before taking the CGC man off his feet with a leg-sweep. Thomas manages to get back to his feet first though and clubs away on Phoenix before sending the champion into the ropes, but Phoenix avoids another Pat Deacon Knee Lift and rebounds back off the ropes to rock Thomas with the springboard roundhouse kick. Thomas gets back up but Phoenix is feeling the momentum shift back his way and he takes the CGC man back down with a kip up head-scissors, that he immediately converts into a pin attempt...... One..... Two....... Thomas kicks out but Phoenix remains in control as they get to their feet with a back heel kick to the mid-section that doubles over the CGC World Champion....Phoenix then heads out onto the apron and delivers a slingshot DDT, driving Bobby Thomas' face into the mat....he the turns Thomas over to make the cover....... One....... Two....... Thr... Thomas kicks out but remains rooted to the mat and Ultimate Phoenix heads up top. But Thomas' manages to get to his feet and staggers into the ring-ropes, causing Phoenix to lose his balance. Bobby Thomas then rocks Phoenix with an uppercut, before joining Phoenix on the top-rope....Phoenix tries to shake the CGC man off with back elbows but Thomas' stays firm and ends up stunning the Undisputed Champion with a falling double knee backbreaker, that leaves both of them planted to the mat but it's Phoenix who appears to be in more discomfort..... They both stagger back up to their feet but Thomas' is up that split second quicker and drills Phoenix with a running boot to the head.....that then leads to the SPECIALIST TOUCH !!! One..... Two....... Thr...... Nooo !!! Bobby Thomas can't believe it, whilst the crowd are relieved that Phoenix is still in the match...... The CGC World Champion argues with Brett Graveson, but in doing so he could be losing the opportunity to finish Phoenix off........ Thomas regains his focus and turns his attention back to Phoenix.....he looks to be going for the Specialist Touch again but Phoenix has it scouted.....FLAMING DRIVER !!! Phoenix stunned Thomas with that out of nowhere One.......... Two......... Three !!! Ultimate Phoenix books his place once again in the Rey De Reyes Finals but more importingly and to the relief of the FCW fans he retains the Undisputed Championship. What a way to officially kick off this years edition of the tournament ! Phoenix did a superb job of making Thomas look like a threat, whilst the CGC man also held up his end of the bargain. If Darryl Devine wasn't doing pretty much the same sort of 'Im better than you, arrogant heel act' that is Thomas' forte I would consider bringing him in on a more permanent basis. Allen then pitches Daniels into the ring and goes for a quick cover..... Daniels powers out and begins to come back with a flurry of fore-arms that have Allen on the back foot, he then whips the UNITY man into the turnbuckle and comes charging in but the former tag champ gets the boots up and then hops up onto the top turnbuckle, Daniels then comes charging in again but Allen boots him off and then plants Daniels into the mat with a Bulldog. Daniels then gets up but is met with a kick to the head, before being planted back down with a Gordbuster that leaves him planted to the mat, giving Allen the opportunity to head up top again and set up for the Flying Fist Drop. But Daniels moves out of the way and as they get up Daniels takes control by taking Allen out of his boots with a lariat. That earns Daniels a two count, who then lifts Allen up and reels off the tri-fecta of snap suplexes for another two count. Daniels then sets up for the Raise The Stakes (Cradle Piledriver) but Allen has the move scouted and slips out before stunning Daniels with a jawbreaker. Allen then stuns Daniels with a drop-kick, and then goes for the Rocker Dropper as Daniels gets to his feet but Daniels manages to block the attempt and then dumps the UNITY man across his knee with a Fireman Carry's Gutbuster...Allen staggers back and Daniels takes him down with another Lariat before picking up Allen, trapping the arms of the UNITY man and unleashing a relentless flurry of knee strikes. Allen fails to give any resistance, leaving Brett Graveson with no other choice but to call for the bell as Dean Daniels books his place in the finals. Apart from the 'hot' opening period for Harry Allen, this was basically an extended squash match but it was effective in building Dean Daniels as a threat heading into the finals. The first few minutes follow this basic pattern with BBS trying to use his explosive power to gain the advantage but Superfly using it to his advantage by taking BBS down to the mat with drop toe holds, arm-drags and leg-sweeps...at one point BBS does take control with a clubbing blow and sets up for a Powerbomb but Superfly counters into a sunset flip for a two count. An enraged BBS almost takes control again with a fore-arms smash before whipping the former four time MPWF Champion into the ropes, to set up for a lariat but Superfly ducks under and nails BBS with a pin point drop kick, that demonstrates the impressive agility for someone of his age. Superfly then rolls BBS up for a pin attempt, before turning the big man over into a Mexican surfboard. The Devine Right man, refuses to give in and Superfly turns BBS back over and applies a front face-lock, as he attempts to get the big man up for a suplex........ That proves to be Superfly's first real mistake of the match as BBS fights out with elbows and then counters into vertical suplex of his own. A weak cover follows due to the Bulldozer being somewhat worn down but it's the turning point BBS was looking for as when they get up he takes control with a series of running clotheslines before reeling Superfly in for a Powerbomb that he converts into a folding press. The Mexican veteran kicks out, but that only seems to enrage BBS who immediately dumps Superfly with an explosive BACKDROP DRIVER ! One...... Two...... Thr....... If BBS had pulled Superfly away from the ropes he would have had the match won, but he still looks to be in control and sets Superfly up for the Atomic Driller, but the MPWF man manages to fight out and creates some separation with some elbows to BBS gut.....BBS then comes charging back at Superfly but is knocked down with an Ed Henson press from Superfly....... BBS powers out of the quick pin attempt and then re-takes control as he powers Superfly up over his head into Military Press but the Mexican veteran manages to slip off, before taking BBS off his feet with a leg-sweep that see the Bulldozer hit the mat hard. Superfly then waits for BBS to stagger up to his feet before planting the Devine Right enforcer back onto the canvas with a swinging neckbreaker. The MPWF man then heads up top, as the Bulldozer remains rooted to the mat.......... SUPERFLY SPLASH ! One...... Two....... Three ! Spanish Superfly advances to the finals at the expense of the Bulldozer. This was a relatively decent match but I was hoping for something a little better. Superfly can still go, but maybe he is starting to become a little pedestrian as he hits his forties....then again he could have been holding back a little for the finals, either way it resulted in a match that was passable but promised alot more than it delivered. The CGC man then pops up but receives a back heel kick into his groin and is then spiked into the mat with a DDT...... Negra then quickly converts that into the Last Chancery...however Johnson is able to quickly manouvre over to the ropes to force the rope break....Negra doesn't let to however and almost gets disqualified as he utilitese Graveson's full five count. Johnson appears to be playing a 'default' face in this one but the crowd aren't really buying into it and if anything they are more behind Negra. After the rope break, Negra tries to get in another cheap shot but Johnson manages to block, and comes back with a flurry of fore-arms, Negra then comes charging back in but is pitched up overhead with a backbody drop. Negra kips up back to his feet but is levelled with a strong fore-arm from Johnson, who then gets a front facelock on the masked man and takes him over with a snap suplex. Johnson then lifts Negra up and slams Negra back onto his knee with a Uranage Backbreaker, whipping the masked man into the ropes and taking Negra down with an explosive leg lariat. That leads to a two count for Johnson, who has suddenly taken control of the match. Johnson then lifts Negra up to a vertical base, but the masked man fights out of a German Suplex attempt and creates some separation with a kick combination....however Johnson manages to avoid the springboard roundhouse and instead Negra turns around into a spinebuster that leaves him planted on the mat. After a pin attempt that see's Negra get the shoulder up at two, Johnson decides to go airborn and he goes for a diving knee-drop but Negra moves out of the way at the last split second, and when Johnson gets back to his feet he is nailed with an Enziguri and then taken off his feet with a leg-sweep. This time Negra heads for the top, but he doesn't have Johnson worn down enough and the CGC man brings them both crashing back into the ring with a release belly to back suplex. They both stagger back to their feet at the same time but it's Johnson who is able to regain control with a Pat Deacon Knee Lift, he then pulls off another Uranage backbreaker and takes Negra over with a Northern Lights Suplex...... One...... Two....... Negra kicks out, so Johnson lifts the masked man back up to a vertical base, and applies a wrist clutch it looks like he is going for the Natural Order but Negra manages to slip out and counters with a back heel kick into the mid-section of Johnson, he then applies a front facelock and spikes Johnson into the mat with a snap DDT. Negra then waits for Johnson to stagger back up to his feet, before drilling the CGC man with a Yazuka Kick....that dazes Johnson who is then set up perfectly to fall victim to the CERTAIN DEATH (Vertebreaker)..... One....... Two...... Three !! Phoenix Negra will have the opportunity to meet his nemesis Ultimate Phoenix once again as he makes the final. Despite the fact this was a heel/heel match the crowd got into it, so it's a testament to the workers involved that they manage to have as good a match as they did. If this did have someone the fans could really cheer for, then this may rated even higher. I'll admit it was a bit of an oversight on my part that I ended up with too many heels in this years tournament, thankfully it doesn't look like I was punished too harshly for my error. R!ot has some pedigree in the tournament having made the finals last year but on recent form and on the fact he didn't already wrestle earlier in the night Devine has to be considered the clear favourite. As the bell ring Devine gets taken by surprise from a fired up Nicky R!ot who quickly pushes the pace with a flurry of fore-arms, before whipping the former Peoples champ into the corner and follow in with a corner splash. Devine then rebounds off the turnbuckle before being taken down with a running clothesline from R!ot. Devine manages to get up but is sent crashing back down to the mat with another clothesline. That earns R!ot a two count, who lifts a shell shocked Devine back up, before whipping the Devine Right leader into the ropes....Devine uses the momentum to come charging back but he is pitched overhead with back body drop....however Devine lands on his feet and as R!ot turns around Devine sneaks in an eye poke before planting R!ot into the mat with a side russian leg-sweep. With R!ots momentum halted, Devine then proceeds to stomp away on the UNITY man...taunting R!ot to get up, only for Devine to stomp him back down to the mat. Devine then jaws with crowd, before going up to the second rope and landing down upon the former tag champion with a diving leg-drop....... A weak, arrogant cover follows that R!ot quickly kicks out of, only for him to receive anothe eye poke for his troubles. With R!ot temporarily blinded Devine stalks the UNITY man before locking in his Devine Dreams (Sleeper) submission..... Just as it looks like R!ot might end up fading he manages to fight his way out of the submission....R!ot then whips Devine into the ropes who springboards off the ropes with the Devine Intervention but the UNITY man catches him mid move and dumps the former Peoples champ onto the canvas with a high angle belly to suplex. With Devine down, R!ot decides to make a rare excursion to the top turnbuckle....he waits for Devine to stagger back to his feet before crashing down upon the Devine Right leader with a flying double axe handle....a dazed Devine then stumbles right into the SUB POP BOP !! One....... Two.......... Three ? But Brett Graveson is down, as the momentum happened to take Devine into the referee. R!ot suddenly realises that no one has been making the count and he goes over to revitalise Graveson but as he does Devine low blows him from behind........... Devine then waits for R!ot to stagger back to his feet....before delivering a boot to the mid-section and butterflying the arms....the crowd all know what is coming next....DEVINE DREAM DROP ! And luck would have it for Devine, Graveson comes to and counts the cover..... One...... Two..... Three The match did the job it needed to do, R!ot came out hot and gave Devine something of a test, but the crowd never really believed he was going to go over Devine. Ok they're not but they are clearly behind the masked duo as they make their way down to the ring only to be jumped by the Heat Magnets. Animal Magic try to fight back but Masked Cougar gets thrown into the ring-steps and the Heat Magnets soon have Fox Mask isolated in their corner as they gain an early advantage. The Devine Right duo then worked over Fox Mask in their corner, working quick tags and generally atangonising Masked Cougar so that Fox Mask's partner would try to make the save only for Brett Graveson to send Cougar back to his corner as the Magnets got in more cheap shots on Fox Mask. However the Heat Magnets became over confident and when they went for their 2 Hot 2 Handle finisher.....Fox Mask was able to counter it with an impressive double standing Fox Flip Off DDT...... Fox Mask was too worn down to make a cover on either of the Heat Magnets and crawled over to get the tag into Masked Cougar. Just as it looked like Matt Hocking might prevent Fox Mask from getting the tag into Cougar.....the hot tag was made and Cougar finally announced his arrival into the match by knocking Hocking down and out of the ring with a High Rise Cougar Pounce....ADB then came charging at Cougar and received a regular Cougar Pounce before rolling out of the ring...... But Cougar wasn't done, as the fired up Tag champion, launched himself over the top rope and onto the Heat Magnets with a flipping dive. Cougar then brought ADB into the ring and then firmly planted the Devine Right man onto the mat with the I AM COUGAR HEAR ME ROAR ! (Wheelbarrow Chicken Wing Facebuster)..... But before Cougar could make the cover Hocking sprung back into the ring to drive Cougar down with the Shock Drop II (Diving Bulldog)...But as he made the cover Brett Gravrson reminded him that he was not the legal man. Hocking was then sent to back to his corner as Cougar and ADB tried desperately to get over to their respective corners first. ADB got the tag into Hocking but only a split second later Cougar tagged in Fox Mask.....Hocking seemed to take control with a back elbow and then applied an inverted facelock as he attempted the Shock Drop but Fox Mask manages to reverse it into the FOX FLIP OFF DDT ! Fox mask made the cover...... One..... Two..... ADB dives in to make the save, but Cougar also comes out of his corner and clotheslines ADB out of the ring.......Hocking then staggers to his feet and this time gets nailed with the LAST HUNT (Double Enziguri's) One....... Two...... Three This time it is over, as Animal Magic make a succesful defence of the Tag Team Championship. Not much to say about that match, it was a formula tag match that pretty much delivered what was expected of it. What follows for the first minutes is some low key chain wrestling, that see's the veteran Flash a step ahead throughout. Hernandez the begins to get frustrated and goes out for a powder to be consoled by Sara Silver, as the Mainstreamer continues to show yet more heelish behaviour. Flash being the veteran that he is simply waits for Hernandez to come in again and they lock up once more....with Flash still in control, who then begins to pick up the pace whipping the Totally Einstein man into the ring ropes, and then using the momentum to plant Hernandez into the mat with a bulldog. However Sara Silver got up on the apron, and caused enough of a distraction for Flash to forget about going for a cover. When Flash finally did turn his attention back to Hernandez he was rocked with a jawbreaker and then taken off this feet with a leg-sweep. Hernandez then headed up to the top turnbuckle....Flash however was soon back to his feet only for the Mainstreamer to nail the veteran with a missile drop-kick. Hernandez then kipped back up to his feet and waited for Flash to get to his feet. Flash then staggered into a SUPERKICK !! One...... Two...... Thr..... Flash kicked out, as Hernandez lifted the veternan back to his feet and immediately looked for the Pontiac to Home but Flash had the move scouted and after a few elbows to the side of the head, he lifted Hernandez up before sending the Totally Einstein man crashing down to the mat with a Vertical Suplex. Flash then turned Hernandez over and applied the Boston Crab, right in the middle of the ring....... However Hernandez managed to dig down and eventually dragged himself and Flash over to the ropes to force the break. Flash then retained control with a series of fore-arms, before whipping Hernandez into the corner, but as he came charging in the Mainstreamer got the boots up, Flash then charged in again only for Hernandez to kip up onto the top turnbuckle and take Flash down with a diving cross-body, that Hernandez convered into a pin attempt....... However Flash then rolled through, and that lead into a sequence of pin-falls for both men that ended up in a stalemate. Both then got back to their feet, waiting for either man to make the next move..... Hernandez came charging but was cut off with a stiff fore-arm from Flash who then whipped Hernandez into the ropes and set up for the Flash Bang but the Mainstreamer had it scouted and ducked under, before sliding underneath the apron..... Hernandez then tried to take Flash by suprise with a springboard fore-arm smash, only for Flash to nail him in mid-flight with a SUPERKICK of his own ! One..... Two..... Thr....... Hernandez kicked out, before Flash lifted him back up but as Flash went to send the Mainstreamer into the ring ropes...Hernandez managed to stay firm and then suddenly planted Flash into the mat with the PONTIAC TO HOME ! Hernandez however was too worn down to make the cover and simply dropped to the mat out of exhaustion....... Both Hernandez and Flash then began to stagger back to their feet but as they did, they were suddenly attacked by Devine Right (everyone apart from Devine himself), who had stormed the ring and with Flash and Hernandez outnumbered and not giving anything back...Graveson felt he had no choice but to throw out the match and called it a double DQ draw. Hernandez had retained the title but probably not the way he wanted to, thanks to the inteference of Darryl Devine's chronies. As per usual the opening moments see's the usual feeling out process between all five men, with lots of tagging in and out. Actually it's four of them, because Darryl Devine keeps dropping off the apron refusing to tag into the match. However when Spanish Superly manages to block cut off Ultimate Phoenix from taking to the skies and sets up for thr Spanish Conquest Darryl Devine suddenly tags in by clocking SS with a stiff fore-arm, Devine then clocks Superfly with a springboard fore-arm smash, before pitching the Mexican veteran out of the ring, and climbs to the top himself, where he double underhooks the arms of Phoenix........ However the defending champion was playing possum and he was able to block and instead brings Devine crashing back into the ring with a rana........ Both Devine and Phoenix then looks to tag out and it's Phoenix who gets the tag in first to Dean Daniels of all people. Daniels stares Phoenix down and then moves over towards Devine who begs off and says something about an agreement. At that point Daniels suddenly turns round and tags Ultimate Phoenix back in, whilst Devine tagged in Phoenix arch nemesis Phoenix Negra. The two masked men charged at each other and what followed was a breathless sequence of counters, even counters for counters as they read one anothers moves inside out, it was though they knew exactly what the other man was going to do. Eventually it ended with them nailing each other in mid-flight with the springboard roundhouse kick, after that both desperately looked for someone to tag into....Negra managed to tag first into Dean Daniels but only a split second later Ultimate Phoenix got the tag into Spanish Superfly. Daniels managed to clock Superlfy with a lariat, as the Mexican veteran went for an Ed Henson press. The former People's champion then set up for a German Suplex but Superfly managed to fight out with elbows and instead was able to suddenly spike Daniels into the mat with a DDT. That earned Superfly a two count before stunning the former People's champion with an elevated Shoulder Neckbreaker. With Daniels firmly planted to the mat Superfly saw it as an opportununity to go up top and go for the Superfly Splash. However as he came down he ended up hitting nothing but air as Daniels managed to roll out of the way at the last split and then into the corner, where Darryl Devine suddenly tagged in....... With Superfly in a weakened state, Devine saw it as an opportunity to take advantage as the Mexican veteran got back to his feet, he was met with a clubbing blow to the back. Devine the double underhooked Superfly's arms and promptly planted the MPWF man into the mat with the DEVINE DREAM DROP ! One...... Two...... Three ! Spanish Superfly was the first to be eliminated from the match. Elimination #1: Spanish Superfly @ 9:58 Before Devine can celebrate though he gets taken down with a springboard drop-kick from Phoenix Negra. Devine manages to stagger up to his feet but is immediately taken down with a leg-sweep from Negra, who then busts out a standing moonsault..... That earns Negra a two count, who then lifts Devine up to a vertical base applying a front facelock, he goes for brainbuster but the Devine Right leader manages to block and spikes Negra with a DDT. Before stumbling across to Dean Daniels and tagging out. Daniels manages to club Negra from behind and then launches the mysterious masked man over head with a German Suplex, that the converts into a bridging pin. That earns Daniels a two count who then whips Negra into the ropes, using the momentum to plant Negra across his knee with a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker........ Daniels then sets up for the Raise The Stakes (Cradle Piledriver) but Negra manages to slip out before taking Daniels down with a leg-sweep. Negra then goes up top but Daniels is back to his feet and he joins Negra up on the top turnbuckle, but the masked man shakes Daniels off, before diving off the turnbuckle to spike Daniels into the mat with a Tornado DDT. Daniels is able to roll out of the ring before Negra can make the cover though, and as Negra winds up to go soaring over the ropes, he is cut off with back heel kick from Ultimate Phoenix, who manages to stop his nemesis in his tracks....... Phoenix then goes for the Flaming Driver but Phoenix manages to block, applies a front facelock and then drives Phoenix into the canvas with a Brainbuster....... Negra immediately converts into the LAST CHANCERY, and the defending Rey De Reyes Champion looks to be in trouble......... However Phoenix having great awarness of his ring positioning manages to make it to the ropes, forcing the rope break. Negra however is still in control and lifts a dazed Phoenix up and appears to be setting up for the Certain Death but Phoenix blocks and then suddenly takes Negra by surprise with the FLAMING DRIVER !! One...... Two..... Thr....... Negra kicks out but the remains planted to the mat and Phoenix goes up to set up for the Phoenix Firebird Splash, but just as he is about to deliver, Darryl Devine comes charging out of his corner, races up the turnbuckle and sends Phoenix crashing back into the ring with a belly to back superplex....... Ultimate Phoenix then gets back up only to stagger into a DEVINE DREAM DROP........but Devine is not the legal man so he drags the limp Phoenix over to his corner and tags himself into the match. Negra meanwhile comes charging in at Devine only for the Devine Right leader to stop him in his tracks with a fore-arm smash. Devine then takes Negra over with the DEVINEPLEX (Northern Lights Suplex)........ One..... Two........ Thr........ Negra kicks out, but Devine double underhooks the arms and drives Negra face first into the mat with the DEVINE DREAM DROP ! And with his arch nemesis Ultimate Phoenix shaking off the effects of a Devine Dream Drop himself and Dean Daniels deciding to stay out of the match for the time being, Negra needs to kick out again to stay in the match. One........ Two........ Three ! Phoenix Negra, many people's favourite to win the Rey De Reyes this year has been eliminated..... Elimination #2: Phoenix Negra @ 16:29 Devine then turns his attention back to Ultimate Phoenix , dragging the Undisputed Champion over to the corner of Dean Daniels, before tagging the former long reigning People's champion in........ They then take turn's on dishing out simple but effective offence on Phoenix and it soon becomes clear that Devine and Daniels are working together...... But as they go for a double team suplex on the Undisputed Champion, Phoenix counters into a double DDT... buying himself some time to regroup ! As all three men get to their feet, it's still a two one one situation but Phoenix nails both of his challengers with a double drop-kick that sends both of them tumbling out of the ring....a fired up Phoenix then launches himself over the top rope with his trademark no hands plancha....taking out the suddenly out of sorts Daniels and Devine before landing on his feet to celebrate with the crowd. Phoenix then pitches Devine into the ring, before nailing the arrogant former People's champion with a slingshot leg drop.....that earns Phoenix a two count who then lifts dumps Devine onto his head with an Elemental Suplex....... One....... Two....... Thr...... Dean Daniels dives back in to make the save ! Dane O'Hara ponders the wisdom of that decision on commentary, pointing out that Devine could have been eliminated. Daniels then turns his attention back to Phoenix and lifts the Undisputed Champion up for the trapped knees...but Phoenix slips out and doubles Daniels over with a back heel kick......FLAMING DRIVER !! Phoenix decides against making the cover though and immediately heads up top, as he looks to finish Daniels off with the Phoenix Firebird Splash, but he is suddenly cut off by Darryl Devine who has raced up the opposite of the turnbuckle, a stiff fore-arm smash from Devine dazes Phoenix.......Devine then double underhooks the arms.....Phoenix tries to struggle free but Devine delivers a clubbing blow....and reapplies the hold...DEVINE NIGHTMARE DROP ! Phoenix is done, no way is he getting up from that ! One..... Two....... Three !! Last years Rey De Reyes winner and current Undisputed Champion Ultimate Phoenix has been eliminated, ensuring that there will be no repeat winner...... Elimination#3: Ultimate Phoenix @ 21:35 Devine then lets Daniels get back to his feet, he then talks to Daniels about the 'agreement'...and agreement. He then tells Daniels to lay down...... O'Hara shouts down the microphone 'NOT LIKE THIS !, please Dean don't do it. don't give the trophy away !' Just as it looks like Daniels might lay down he suddenly explodes into life taking Devine down with an explosive lariat......Devine then staggers back to his feet and is immediately dumped over head with a release belly to suplex.......Devine stumbles up again but is levelled with another lariat from a fired up Daniels, who suddenly has the crowd on his side ! Daniels lifts Devine up and traps the arms, before unleashing the trapped knees. But Devine gets lucky with ring positioning and is able to force a rope break. Devine then gets in an eye poke and takes control with a fore-arm smash.....But Daniels comes right back and the two begin to brawl with one another, neither of them giving an inch....... Daniels then whips Devine into the ring ropes, who comes back with the Devine intervention springboard back elbow, but Daniels manages to duck under it, but as he comes charging back off the ropes he is tripped up by his manager Lisa Bowen ! Daniels stumbles into a Pat Deacon Knee lift from Devine....double underhook.....DEVINE DREAM DROP ! One........ Two........ Three !!! Darryl Devine is the 2011 Rey De Reyes champion !! The Rey De Reyes match is always one of the highlights of the FCW year, and this years was no exception. Whilst last years had great wall to wall action, I would say this one was edged it , as it had intriguiing storylines throughout the match, especially with the Devine-Daniels alliance, the refusal from Daniels to lay down for Devine and Bowen's turn on her client. The other thing you may have picked up is that Devine eliminated everybody in the match, I just felt this was a nice touch and is something to further build his uber arrogant character with. Result: Darryl Devine defeated Dean Daniels, Ultimate Phoenix, Spanish Superfly and Phoenix Negra in 24:32; the order of elimination was Spanish Superfly first, then Phoenix Negra, then Ultimate Phoenix, and finally Dean Daniels. Darryl Devine wins the Rey De Reyes title. Rating: B After the match, Darryl Devine celebrates in the ring, with Lisa Bowen to a chorus of boos from the fans. It looks like Bowen has just dumped Dean Daniels and joined Devine Right. Rating: C __________________________________________________________ Overall: C+ There was great stuff on this show, namely both matches that involved Ultimate Phoenix. However some booking mistakes (and I will admit to that), perhaps cost this from being an even better show. It still increases our popularity though (to quote James Casey....'I'll keep telling myself that'). The booking mistakes I felt was having too many heels in this years tournament and not having a strong enough semi main event in place outside of the tournament, next year it might be an idea to have whoever the Undisputed Champion is to defend the title outside of the tournament.

August in Review The problem with running two shows in one month is that it results in losing money. It's frustating as I want to switch to a two show a month schedule on the regular basis, the solutuion might be to look at bringing in cheaper talent without skimping on the quality. Guys that are worth the money, I will have no problem resigning but there are one or two guys on the roster picking up far too big of a pay check in relation to their position on the roster and what they are delivering inside of the ring for us on a monthly basis. The overall feeling about both of the show this month is that they were both pretty good but just lacked something to take them up to the level we can produce when at our very best. Even though I announced that he was leaving last month former Undisputed Champion J.D Morgan officially departed us this month. He will be greatly missed by most of the locker-room (including myself), it's just a shame that he won't be missed by the person that matters most the owner. There were a fair few contract extension this month with Bulldozer Brandon Smith, Jared Johnson, Kashmir Singh (Mr Electricity), Masked Cougar, Primus and referee Brett Graveson all seeing their contracts renewed. We have also added yet another promising young talent to our roster with the addition of El Mitico Jr, who should be set to make his debut at our Anniversario show next month. ____________________________________________________________ Rival Promotion Watch CZCW will blame pull-outs including champion Ultimate Phoenix for the failure of this months show Wave of Fury. However they still had enough talent to put on a good show highlighted by a very good ladder (B-) ladder match for the Xtreme title, that saw Remmy Skye win the belt for second time. However the show ended with a poor (D+) rated main event between Andre Jones and Mick Muscles. MAW also seem to be enterting a bit of a slump of late with their Gauntlet show failing to deliver the good (D+). A generally mediocre show was topped off by a disappointing (D+) main event between J.D Morgan and Steve Flash in a match that perhaps showed that both competitors are starting to show their age. The match of the night saw James Hernanez defeat The Sensatonal Singh in a C+ rated effort, however it came relatively early in the show. NYCW produced one of the better efforts this month with their Shattered Show (C+) A solid undercard was followed by a strong main event and semi main (both B-) that saw Steve Flash retain the Empire Title against Ryan Powell and The Mean Machine edge out Rick Sanders. PSW did manage to mix things up a little this month with a tag team main event that saw Henry Lee team with The Punisher to defeat Johnny Martin and Tank Bradley, whilst the Wolverine retained the PSW Championship against J.D Morgan in the semi main....same mediocrity though with both matches rated D+, resulting in a D+ rated event. RIPW unsurprisingly put on the weakest effort this month with their Found Guilty event (rated D). The main event was an uninspring (D-) Six Man Tag whilst Henry Lee faced off with Madman Boone yet again for the RIPW Championship in the semi main (D+). This was a month where no one really produced their best, though both ourselves and NYCW managed to maintain the levels we are capable of producing on a regular basis. CZCW's show actually wasn't that bad, it was just the main event that was the major let down, whilst MAW put on a show that had too many matches and peaked far too early. PSW and RIPW are to be honest becoming insiginifcant in comparison to ourselves and the other three. ___________________________________________________________ August News and Notes From Around The Wrestling World General News The SWF once again find themselves plunged into crisis as they have once again fallen to Cult Size. The problem appears to be with a strategy that has seen them concentrate far too much on trying to expand in international markets, thus neglecting their homebase. Ironically they are now more popular in the UK and Mexico, than they are in the U.S. Theoretically SWF are still one of the biggest promotions in the world, but because they have lost a considerable amount of popularity back at 'home' they have dropped all the way from Global down to cult. SWF can and probably will bounce back from this, but another drop to Cult Size cannot be sitting easily with Richard Eisen and co. Meanwhile Exodus 2010 rise to Regional size was a brief one, as they have dropped back down to be a small size company. Worker Signings Elmo Benson, best known for teaming with Greg Black (Groucho Bling) in the SWF has now joined 4C, in addition to working for CGC. AAA have resigned Jen Neptune, as they decide to give the BSC favourite another chance to prove herself in a more serious wrestling environment. Masked Patriot has been invited back for another tour with BHOTWG, whilst K.C Glenn also accepts an invite from the storied Japanese promotion. CWWF boost their ranks with the additions of former 5SSW World Champion Amber Allen and Michelle Brendon. Geena The Warrior Princess has returned to EWA. Seasoned gaijin's Merle O'Curle and Kalu Owusu have been invited to take part in GCG's upcoming autumn tour. El Heroe Mexicano adds MHW to his schedule. A month after being let go from OLLIE, the wrestler formerly known as SWARM III (El Guardinao Jr) has been picked up by rivals MPWF, where he has been repackaged as Kid Azucar. Notes: I went into the editor for his and repackaged him with a new name for his MPWF contract and gave him one of the generic random pics. It just irritated me that he would still have the Swarm gimmick in MPWF. Hollywood Brett Starr adds PSW to his schedule. Reaper Cicero has rejoined SOTBPW nine months after being released. It's likely he has just been brought back in an 'enhancement talent' capacity, which to be honest wouldn't be too far removed from his first run with the promotion. Worker Extensions A relatively busy month for 21CW as they extend the contracts of Stevie Stoat, Pitbull Brown, Chuck Frisby, Igor Ivanoff, valet Phoebe Plumridge and road agent Colin 'The Steamroller' Chalke. 4C extend the contracts of Damin Carvill, Lightning Lomas, Raphael and announce team member Ted Ross. 5SSW extend the contracts of Megumi Nakajima and Rei Chikanatsu. APW extend the contracts of Nathan Mackenzie, Boo Smithson, referee Virgil Mann and valet Stephanie Drucker. BHOTWG offer new written contracts to up-coming heavyweight Tadakuni Toshusai and veteran Sanetomo Shiraishi, whilst Eisaku Hoshino signs yet another extension to his lucrative PPA deal. BSC extend the contracts of Charlize Angelle, Gorgon, Sprite and commentator Sara Silver. CGC extend the contract of Zeus Maximillion. CWWF extend the contracts of Eve Grunge, announcer Marty Papin and referee Andy Gordy. CZCW extend the contracts of Donnie J, Brendan Idol, Ekuma and valet Jakki, ELPF are sticking with their initial roster, resigning all the talent that signed up with them back in January to contract extensions. EWA extend the contracts of Herschel The Hammer, White Knight, Jed High, valet Simona Cox and announcer Mark Stanford. Exodus 2010 extend the PPA deals of Young Boy Sayuki and road agent Gesshin Nishihara. Strong Style Yoemon signs a new written contract with GCG, whilst Burning Takash!ta keeps his PPA deal rolling over. Announcer Hirokichi Hatakeda extends his PPA deal with Hinote Dojo. Burning Takash!ta also extends his PPA deal with INSPIRE and White Samurai also extends his contract with the MMA influenced promotion. MAW extend the contracts of James Hernandez, Madman Boone and referee Brett Graveson. MOSC extend the contracts of Kevin Jones, Matthew 'Bruiser' Jackson and referee Scott Gregory. MPWF extend the contracts of El Hijo Espada Roja, Inca Jr and color commentator Teadoro Nieto. A busy month for NOTBPW as they seal Johnny Bloodstone, Bruce The Giant, R.K Hayes, Frankie 'White Angel' Dee, Gargantuan and womens division member Jaime Quine to new written contracts. NYCW extend the contract of Justin Sensitive. OLLIE extend the contracts of El Critico, Swarm II, Phoenix III and El Leon. PGHW seal Ryoma Muruyama, Eien Miyamoto, Snap Dragon and road agent Danger Kumasaka to new exclusive written contracts. PSW extend the contracts of The Wolverine, The Punisher plus managers Carl Batch and Nicole Kiss. RIPW extend the PPA deal of Brendan Idol. ROF extend the contracts of Daniel Black Francis, Don Henderson, Harley Neill, Menace and road agent Donny Damage. SAISHO extended the PPA deals of Shiba Mizoguchi and Kenichi Komagata. SOTBOW extend the contracts of Axxis Jr, El Demonio, Leon Joven and announcer Mateo Hidalgo. SWF extend the contracts of Eric Eisen, Atlas and backstage hand Rico Santana. However following their fall to cult size, they only able to offer them PPA deals. TCW secure Guide, Fumihiro Ota and manager Queen Emily to new written contracts. UEW extend the contracts of Haiti Voodude, road agent Nathaniel Pross, announcer Lawrence Young and valet Vita. A busy month for USPW who extend the contracts of Casey Valentine, Danny Rushmore, Nicky Champion, Pete the Hillbilly Puerto Rican Power, Remmy Skye, T-Rex and manager Captain USA. WLW secure Torch Nakazawa to an exclusive written contract. Worker Releases/Departures Duberry Excess quietly departs from 4C, after relocating to Mexico to concentrate on his work with SOTBPW where he works under the Demon Seed mask. Wendy Anderson did not see her contract renewed by AAA. Viv Jacobs is released by CWWF, and Golden Delicious also leaves after she fails to come to agreement over a new contract. Jeri Behr has decided to leave EWA, stating that she felt there was a lack of focus on their women's division. She is now weighing up whether or not to entertain offers from North America/Japan or to pursue other interests. Quick Kick Nakao departs from INSPIRE. MAW lose the services of Masked Patriot and Nevada Nuclear. Patriot has decided to concentrate on working in Japan, where is having reasonable success in BHOTWG, whilst Nuclear was apparently asking for too much money when it came to a contract extension. Electrico and Vincente Romero both decide to finish up with MHW. Mexican Ghoul departs from SOTBPW. Rumour has it that he has decided to jump ship to either OLLIE or MPWF. As reported in the worker Former four time All Action champion Freddy Huggins has been released by TCW. It was felt that Huggins time in TCW had come to an end and that 'Creative' had nothing more for him. Injuries Key NOTBPW worker and former Canadian champion Johnny Bloodstone is currently working through Chronic Lower Back Pain WLW's Nathan Coleman has sustained Skyclad's Bicep Disorder and will be on the shelf for around two months. Media News Despite their recent fall to Cult Size, SWF managed to broker a deal with Sports America to show their Breakin' Out T.V show. Meanwhile TCW will be increasing to four hours of Television time with their Total Wrestling show being revived from next month on GNN Total Sports and WLW continue to get their Combat TV show into new markets, this time breaking into Australia where it will be shown on Australia Channel 1. Title Changes Philip LaGrenier won the Canadian Title for the first time in CGC, ending Trent Shaffers five month reign with the belt. Tamara McFly defeated Susan Brazzle to claim the vacant CWWF Universal Title, following the sudden retirement of previous champion Grace Harper last month. The CZCW Xtreme Title changed hands for the fourth time in seven months as Remmy Skye claimed the belt in a 3-way ladder match against previous champion Matt Sparrow and Young Leo to claim the title for the second time in his career. Tijuana Vampire defeated Electrico to become the MHW Campeon del Mundo, in what was Electrico's final appearance for MHW. Kid Azucar (the former SWARM III) made an instant impact in his arrivail in MPWF by teaming up with Hombre De La Energia to win the Campeones de Parejas titles. The curse of the MAW Tag Team Titles continues, as they are left vacant again following the departure of Masked Patriot. Ryoma Muruyama and Masaru Ugaki ended the 8 month Glory Tag Crown reign of Mito Miwa and Akinori Kwakami to win the titles for a fourth time only to lose them a couple of weeks later to Kozue Kawashima and Li Bingci. This marks Kawashima's fifth reign with the belts (his previous four coming with PRIDE Koiso). Merle O'Curle became the ROF Champion for second time, ending the 20 month reign of Walter Morgan. Brent Hill became the International Champion in TCW for the first time ending the 5 month reign of Joel Bryant. Americana teamed up with Mr Lucha III to defeat Your New Heroes (Mokuami Maita & The Tic) for the WLW Tag Team Titles and it was double success for both of them this month as American won the Show Stealer title for a record breaking fifth reign. Whilst The Tic ended the three month Street Fighting Title of Jacob Jett only to lose it to Mr Lucha III at the end of the month.

Delorean Driver.com Your Top Wrestling News Site Notes From Small Island: There were those who thought it wouldn't even make a year but FCW will be celebrating four years of existance this month and what many saw as a vanity project for local hero Wilson Lopez better known as Puerto Rican Power has now become one of the most talked about independent promotions in North America. This year has seen the Puerto Rican based promotion not only further establish a strong home base but also expand to new markets on the U.S mainland with visits to Pennsylvania and Florida. On Friday 9th September FCW celebrate their four years in business with the latest edition of one of their Anniversario Show, which always proves to be one of the must see events on the FCW calendar. The headline match will see Ultimate Phoenix put his Undisputed Championship on the line against this years winner of the Rey De Reyes Darryl Devine. Devine eliminated everyone in the finals, including Phoenix himself to take home the trophy last month and earn himself a shot at the twin belts. The arrogant leader of the Devine Right will be brimming with confidence that he can add the Undisputed Title to his list of achievements. Meanwhile Phoenix Negra and Dean Daniels will face off against one another, as they look to get themselves in position to challenge for the Undisputed Championship. Daniels reached the final two of the Rey De Reyes finals last month and looked to be in cahoots with Devine, after it appeared a 'deal' was set up by the two earlier in the show. Daniels however refused to lay down for Devine only for his manager Lisa Bowen to cost him the victory by turning on him. If Daniels gets past Negra, he will be fired up to take on either Phoenix (who he is desperate to beat) and Devine (after Bowen's treachery) however Phoenix Negra will be equally fired up , especially with the prospect of another showdown against his 'brother' Ultimate Phoenix on the horizon, should he get past Daniels. The People's Championship will be on the line as Mainstream Hernandez defends against a man he has a fair bit of history with in the form of Bulldozer Brandon Smith, the 'enforcer' of the Devine Right stable that was originally brought in by Bradford Peverall to 'stalk' Hernandez's girlfriend Sara Silver, a decision that Peverall who has re-aligned himself with Hernandez once again regrets. Peverall himself will be involved in a 3-way match with Angel De Mexico and Mr Electricity, with the winner of the match putting themselves in a strong position to challenge for the People's Championship currently held by Peverall's Totally Einstein Tag Team partner. The Tag Team championship will also be on the line as The Ring Generals finally get their shot at the belts. The Generals have put together a solid winning run of late, but it has come against low level teams and they will be making a huge step up when they challenge the high flying duo of Animal Magic. Da Power who is looking to get back into the Undisputed Title mix, will take on UNITY's Harry Allen, whilst Power's W.O.V Gold cohort Big Eazy will face off against W.O.V original Primus in a 'relaxed rules' match. More members of Devine Right will be in action as Jared Johnson goes up against the veteran Steve Flash and Arthur Dexter Bradley will face off against debutant El Mitico Jr, whilst Capitao Brasil Jr against K.C Glenn rounds out the main card. The pre-show matches for those who can get to the 'Monty' early will see UNITY's Nicky R!ot take on Captain Morgan, whilst R!ot's stable mate Charles Rainier face off against an old enemy in the form of original W.O.V member M.C Speed.
I can't see Phoenix dropping the belt as he's the only top level face on the roster, so a heel champ wouldn't really have anyone to go up against, except Phoenix himself.
That was a situation created by suddenly having to lose J.D Morgan from the roster, though it's a situation that I am currently in the middle of addressing. Steve Flash was supposed tto be another top level face but he's been disappointing so far. He still might be pushed to the to though as i've got to have him reach B level momentum, due to him becoming best pals with Power backstage...so I may well be forced to PUSH Flash sooner or later. Right now I would say I legitimately have five main event level guys Ultimate Phoenix, Phoenix Negra, Darryl Devine, Dean Daniels and Da Power. I could probably do with bringing in another top guy, probably another face to give me a nice even six at the top of the card, as I don't see anyone from the mid-card breaking into the main event for the forseeable future. Anyway the up-coming show will be another two parter, hoping to get the first part at-least up by Sunday.

The match was a fast paced sprint with lots of counters and quick pin attempts.....however I was able to come up with the big move when it counted drilling Speed into the mat with the C.R Driver to pick up a much needed win. Not trusting him, I refuse it but he pulls me back again and appears to say something that makes me change my mind, this time I shake his hand and he then raises my arm aloft to show that I was the better man. The crowd wait for a 'turn' from either of us but it doesn't come. However as I head back up the entrance ramp I am met by an irate Nicky R!ot, who is questioning my decision to shake hands with a member of the 'old enemy' Wave of Violence. The referee can however disqualifty both participants if he feels that they have been outside of the ring for too long or the usage of foreign objects/illegal tactics has gone too far then he can call for a disqualification and pinfalls must take place inside of the ring. In a nutshell It's not a hardcore/NO DQ match but the referee is willing to let stuff go, if emotions start running high. Unsurrisingly with these rules set in place the match was a wild brawl and it was no surprise that it soon spilt to the outside and into the crowd. Big Eazy gained control with a chair shot to the gut of Primus and then tried to bring the W.O.V Original up and down with a vertical suplex onto a row of chairs only for Primus to block and then send him hurtling into the chair with an explosive lariat. Primus then went for body-slam only for Eazy to jam a chair between his legs. Eazy then took control with a DDT onto another chair and then tried to bring Primus back into the ring, as Brett Graveson pleaded with them to bring the action back into the ring. But Primus began to fight back and instead of the action being brought back into the ring, they continued to brawl out into the crowd and then into the backstage area. With Graveson having lost complete control of the match he saw no choice but to throw it out, despite the 'relaxed rules'. This was a decent enough brawl that many of the fans got to see 'up close and personal' however given the rules of the match I regret not booking a decisive winner in this one, as it doesn't really bring closure to the feud or brings it forward. Result: Big Eazy drew with Primus in 7:41 when the referee lost control and stopped the match. They start things relatively slow and on the mat which plays more into Capitao's strengths but Glenn is able to match up with the masked 'Brazilian' hold for hold. Capitao gets a little frustrated about this and then tries to push the pace but that plays right into Glenn's hands who takes control with a Leg Lariat. Glenn then followed up with a running knee strike that earned him a two count, before heading up top and planting Capitao into the mat with a diving bull-dog. Feeling that Capitao was dazed enough Glenn went for the curiously title Tune Up the 'Sunshine Band' a Yakuza Kick, that begins by springing off the ropes but Capitao saw it coming and took Glenn down with a leg-sweep. The 'Brazilian' masked man then waited for Glenn to get to his feet, before taking his legs out once again with a basement drop kick before locking on his inverted figure four submission ' A Prayer For Mercy'....Glenn was able to make the ropes but was noticeably hobbled and Capitao took the legs out again, this time with a leg-sweep before busting out a quebrada for a two count. A rolling cutter then planted Glenn back onto the canvas, as Capitao headed up top, but the Louisiana born youngster was able to get the knees up when Capitao went for the Fall From Rio (Swanton). As they got back up Glenn took control by planting Capitao into the mat with the Louisiana Spiral (Complete Shot). That looked to have one the match but Capitao was able to kick out just in time, but he remained rooted to the mat and Glenn headed up top to pull off the 450 splash for the victory, crashing down upon Capitao before the masked man could react. These two just went out there for a little under ten minutes and put on a pretty good match. Capitao is a solid worker, but Glenn has potential to be a star and should by this time next year be on his way to being a serious challenger for the People's belt at the very least. Of course the other fun thing about the character is the ever changing entrance music of disco 'classics'....this time we see the flamboyant disco dancer striding down to the ring to 'He's the Greatest Dancer' by Sister Sledge. They circle one another at the start but Mr Electricity, knowing that it's elimination rules wants no piece of the action and decides to step out of the ring. leaving Peverall and Angel to go at it......but Peverall suddenly lifts Angel up before launching the masked man onto the flamboyant disco dancer. Angel then pitches Electricity into the ring , where the colourful indian born wrestler decides to beg off......Peverall's having none of it though and moves in only for Electricity to cut him off with an eye poke, before planting a temporarily blinded Peverall into the mat with a Russian Leg-Sweep.....However Angel De Mexico comes flying in off the top-rope but Electricity is able to catch him and drive the masked mexican down across his knees with a backbreaker. Electricity then goes for a quick cover but Angel is able to kick out, before the patriotic masked man rolls out of the way.Peverall then gets back up but is stopped in his tracks with a jawbreaker from Singh, who once again plants Peverall into the mat with another Russian Leg-Sweep. Angel then comes charging out of the corner but is stopped in his tracks with a back elbow and then planted to the mat with an impressive snap power-slam from the disco dancin' Indian. Singh looks to be in total control, as both of his opponents are left laying on the mat. However instead of going for a cover on either of his opponents he decides to dance, disco style in what looks like a really bad tribute to Saturday Night Fever. Electricity finally decides to get serious and pulls Angel up off the mat and sets up the Lighntin' Rod (Falcon Arrow) but his earlier faffing about backfires and Angel suddenly snaps off a Tilt-A-Whirl Arm-Drag that he immediately turns into the Mexican Death Arm Bar....... Electricity however is able to rise to his feet, lifting Angel up onto his shoulders before dropping down on the canvas with a Samoan Drop, forcing the patriotic Mexican to break the hold but as Electricity gets back up he suddenly turns right into a ROCK HARD UPPERCUT from Bradford Peverall. The flamboyant disco dancer had been knocked spark out and Peverall made the academic cover, eliminating Electricity from the match. Elimination #1: Mr Electricity @ 7:25 Angel De Mexico then came charging at Bradford Peverall but was stopped in his track with a series of jabs, before Peverall whipped Angel into turnbuckle and then came charging in but Angel slipped under the ropes and then took Peverall by surprise with a springboard DDT. Angel then waited for Peverall to stagger back up to a vertical base, before driving Peverall into the mat with the ACAPULCO TWIST !! One..... Two...... Thr....... Peverall showed great guts by kicking out but remained rooted to the canvas and Angel decided to head up top, but as he dived in off the top-rope Peverall was back up clocking Angel with a European Uppercut. With Angel dazed Peverall immediately converted that into the TOTALLY TOTALLED (Twisting Inverted Brainbuster)....... One....... Two....... Three !!! Bradford Peverall had won the three way and in doing so, had probably done his chances of getting a People's title shot no deal of harm. Perhaps a little rushed, considering it was elimination rules but this was a fun three way and a pretty big win for Peverall over someone that has mixed up with the big guns before in Angel De Mexico. Result: Bradford Peverell defeated Ángel De México and Mr. Electricity in 9:31; the order of elimination was Mr. Electricity first, and finally Ángel De México. It was all Power in the beginning, as he used his size and strength advantage to overwhelm the UNITY man but he got over-confident and Allen was able to turn things back in his favour with a diving bull dog. Allen then kept Power off balance with drop-kicks, one of which sent Power out of the ring, before Allen climbed up the turnbuckle and wiped out both Power and batch with a flying cross-body. Back in the ring and Allen was still in enough control to go up top once again and try for the Flying Fist Drop but he ended up eating the canvas as Power moved out of the way. The four moves of doom (Roaring elbow, atomic drop, spinebuster, San Juan Rush) then followed as Power decided to put the match to bed and not allow Allen a way back in this time as he once again seized control of the match. They have been winning of late but Crippler Ray Kingman and his wife could probably beat Benning & Wilkes. The match itself was formula stuff with Animal Magic starting off hot but the Ring Generals finding a way back in by using heel tactics. That then lead to Fox Mask 'playing Spencer Marks' for a long stretch, even succumbing to the Ring Generals finisher the Lesson Learned (Aided Wheelbarrow suplex) at one point only for Masked Cougar to dive in at the last split second and break it up. That was as close as the Generals would come to winning though and Fox Mask was able to get in the hot-tag to Masked Cougar after an impressive Enziguri/DDT combo. Masked Cougar then cleaned house, with a series of Cougar Pounces, before Fox Mask joined him in pulling out stereo moonsault presses to the floor. The champs then pitched Dean Waldorf into the ring and sealed the expected victory with the Last Hunt (Stereo Enziguri's). Result: Animal Magic defeated The Ring Generals in 8:56 when Masked Cougar defeated Dean Waldorf by pinfall. It was all BBS in the early going as he looked to methodically wear down the Mainstreamer, however when BBS whipped Hernandez into one of the turnbuckles, the Totally Einstein man was able to flip himself over the ropes, before nailing BBS with a kick to the back as the Bulldozer came charging in. Hernandez then launched himself back into the ring nailing BBS with a springboard drop-kick before kipping up and nailing the enforcer of the Devine Right stable with a leg lariat. With BBS down Hernandez busted out a standing moonsault, that earned the Mainstreamer a two count before the Totally Einstein man decided to head up top but BBS was back to his feet nailing Hernandez with a fore-arm smash before placing the Mainstreamer onto his shoulders and driving Hernandez into the mat with a Fireman's carry powerslam...... That earned BBS a two count, who then lifted the Mainstreamer back to his feet before dumping Hernandez on his head with a German Suplex....... One...... Two....... Hernandez kicked out, much to the frustration of BBS who then set up for the Back Drop Driver but Hernandez fought out with elbows shots....BBS however held firm and took Hernandez over with the Back-Drop Driver only for Hernandez to right himself onto his feet and as BBS turned around he was nailed with a SUPERKICK from the Mainstreamer....... But BBS stayed on his feet and came charging back with a Lariat but Hernandez managed to duck under before sending the Bulldozer off balance with a basement drop-kick, before climbing up top and planting BBS into the mat with a diving bulldog. Hernandez then waited for BBS to get to his feet before drilling the Devine Right enforcer with another SUPERKICK.....BBS managed to stay on his feet again but this time he stumbled right into the PONTIAC TO HOME !!! One...... Two...... Three..... NO ! BBS had accidently stumbled into Brett Graveson causing the referee to fall flat on his face, seeing that there was no ref, Bowen signalled for re-inforcements as the Heat Magnets came down to the ring. The Magnets went to work attacking the Mainstreamer only for Bradford Peverall to come charging up the entrance ramp and clean house on the Devine Right duo with a flurry of his trademark European uppercuts. Peverall then helped Hernandez up to his feet only for BBS to get back to his feet and come charging in....Peverall then threw a rock hard uppercut in the direction of BBS but the big man managed to avoid it and instead Peverall connected with his Totally Einstein Tag Team partner. BBS then clotheslined a shocked Peverall out of the ring, before reviving Graveson back to his feet......a groggy Hernandez then stumbled right into a Lariat, before BBS scooped him up and drilled him into the canvas with the ATOMIC DRILLER ! One...... Two..... Three Bulldozer Brandon Smith had just become the new People's Champion regaining the title for the Devine Right stable. Even with the inteference, this was still a pretty good match and probably the best of Hernandez brief second run with the title. Result: Bulldozer Brandon Smith defeated Mainstream Hernandez in 11:44 by pinfall. Bulldozer Brandon Smith wins the FCW People's Championship title Rating: C After the match BBS celebrates with Lisa Bowen and the Heat Magnets, whilst Mainstream Hernandez is seen arguing with Sara Silver as a disconsolate Bradford Peverall trails in behind, knowing full well that he cost Hernandez the title. Rating: D+

That lead to Johnson slipping out of the ring to take a powder and to be consoled by Lisa Bowen. Flash being the veteran that he is patiently waited for Johnson to get back into the ring. What followed was more of the same but with Flash picking up the pace and almost grabbing victory with several pin attempts, furthing frustrating Johnson who went out for another powder much to the frustration of the fans who were getting a bit fed up of Double J's stalling tactics. Flash by this time had enough too and went to the outside to bring the Devine Right man back into the ring.....however that played into Double J's hands who was able to slide into the ring first and then blindside the veteran, before drilling Flash into the mat with a DDT. That brought Johnson a two count, who then lifted Flash up by the arms and drove him face first into the mat with a vicious Tar Heel Stomp leaving Flash in a weakened enough state for him to lock on the Carolina Crossface. But the two time NYCW Empire champ refused to give in and used every muscle in his 44 year old body to make it to the ropes. Flash was still in a weakened state though and a confident Double J taunted the veteran to get up with paintbrush slaps, that only seemed to fire up Flash though he suddenly rocked the Devine Right youngster with a roaring elbow......that then saw Johnson stumble into a Superkick. Flash then waited for Johnson to stumble back up to his feet before planting the youngster into the mat with a running bulldog for a two count. Flash then decided to take a risk, climbing to the top as Johnson remained rooted to the mat, but as he did Lisa Bowen came over and held the foot of the veteran. Flash managed to shake off Bowen but that gave Johnson time to recover and join Flash on the top-rope the two then duked it out with Johnson seemingly taking control before trying to flip Flash over for a top rope MDK Powerbomb but Flash was able to block and then suddenly countered into a FLASH BANG ! from the top rope. Johnson was getting up from that and Flash was able to make the academic cover. The match started off slow, really slow and the fans let their frustations known but it picked up in the second half of the match and the finishing sequence was fantastic, showing that in patches Flash still has 'it'. However Mitico is no slouch and he was able to keep pace with the Heat Magnet. ADB however managed to take Mitico off his feet with drop-kick before heading up top...he then launched himself off with a flying cross body but got caught in mid-air by Mitico who dumped ADB with a fall-away slam. ADB then staggered up to his feet only to be levelled with a running clothesline from Mitico, who lifted a dazed ADB back up to a vertical base, before holding the Heat Magnet up in the air for over half a minute with an impressive vertical suplex. That brought Mitico a two count, who then lifted ADB up onto his shoulders but the Heat Magnet was able to fight out with elbows, before taking Mitico off his feet with a leg-sweep, the Devine Right member then rebounded off the ropes to deliver a leg-drop, before going for a quick cover....Mitico kicked out but remained planted to the mat and ADB decided to head up top and go for the Superstar Splash but as he came down he ended up kissing the canvas as Mitico rolled out of the way. ADB then staggered into a release belly to belly suplex from Mitico that sent the Heat Magnet crashing into the corner. ADB was then left prone in a seated position, as Mitico went to the opposite corner and then came charging in using his body as a weapon, as he came crashing into ADB with a running senton. Mitico then dragged a dazed ADB out of the corner and drove him down across his knee with a pumphandle neckbreaker. That then set up ADB for the Quicksilver Suplex (Swinging Fisherman suplex), which looked to have earnd the debutant victory, if it wasn't for Lisa Bowen getting up on the apron to distract Brett Graveson. Graveson sent threw Bowen out, who then proceeded to argue her case, keeping his eyes away from the real inference from Matt Hocking, who climbed into the ring and clobbered El Mitico from behind, before drilling the masked debutant into the mat with the Shock Drop II. Hocking then layed his tag partner over Mitico as he disappeared from he ring. Graveson then counted to three as ADB literally stole what would have been a certain win for the debuting El Mitico. This was a really good debut for El Mitico, who looked impressive throughout the match and in some ways I do regret not giving him the victory but in him having him screwed out of the win, he has instant issues with Devine Right and in particular the Heat Magnets. Negra then nailed Daniels with a drop-kick sending the former People's champ out of the ring. Negra then went to launch himself over the top but put the brakes on when he saw Daniels move out of the way. Daniels then went to get back in the ring but was taken down with a bullet like spear from Negra that took both of them out onto the floor. As they both got up Negra was able to take control with a back heel kick into Daniels mid-section before spiking the former People's champ onto the floor with a DDT. Negra then rolled into the ring to break the count, before sending Daniels into the ring post. The nemesis of Ultimate Phoenix then wrapped Daniels arm around the ring-post before delivering a series of kicks to do further damage. Back in the ring, Negra went for a quick cover only for Daniels to kick out. Negra then taunted Daniels to get up, before reeling off another kick combination, however Daniels caught the leg on a roundhouse attempt and dumped Negra with a Leg Hook Suplex. But Daniels was too worn down to make a strong cover and Negra easily kicked out. Both then stumbled back to their feet but it was Daniels who was able to cut Negra off with a lariat. However he levelled Negra with his bad arm and was unable to follow up, giving the masked man time to get back to his feet, where he came charging in at Daniels, who went for a clothesline, Negra ducked the attempt and then sprang back with a springboard roundhouse, Daniels ducked under that but was unable to avoid a basement drop-kick that took him off his feet. Daniels staggered back up only to be swept back off his feet again and this time Negra dropped down to lock on the LAST CHANCERY....... Seeing that Daniels was beginning to use his strenght advantage to rise back to his feet, Negra drove in knee strikes to the top of the head, before wrenching back on the hold. But one thing Daniels has never been, is a quitter and he managed to dig down to find his way over to the ropes and force the rope break. Daniels looked significantly weakened though and Negra immediately set up for an Elemental Suplex but Daniels held firm fighting out with elbows before sending Negra off into the ropes......Negra slid under the bottom though and launched himself back in with a springboard only for Daniels to catch him in mid air and drop Negra across his knees with a gutwrench. Daniels then lifted a winded Negra up onto his shoulders, before launching the mysterious masked man half way across the ring with the Spinning Crucifix Toss he calls the Human Roulette, The move left both of them somewhat disorientated but it was Daniels who was able to seize control with a clothesline, before dumping Negra onto the back of his head with a German Suplex...... One....... Two....... Negra kicked out, but Daniels was feeling the match turn in his favour as he kept control with a knee strike, before applying a front facelock. That led to Daniels reeling off a tri-fecta of snap suplexes for another two count. Daniels then sent Negra into the ropes using the momentum to stun Negra with a Tilt-A Whirl Backbreaker, before setting up for the Raise The Stakes (Cradle Piledriver) but Negra had it scouted slipping off......but Daniels was able to avoid an Enziguri attempt and then dump Negra with a side suplex........ One....... Two........ Negra kicked out again but remained planted to the mat and Daniels decided to head for the top-rope. but that proved to be a mistake as Negra kipped up back to his feet and then sprung off the top-rope to send Daniels crashing back into the ring with a springboard 'rana. As they both staggered back to their feet Negra then took Daniels down with another leg-sweep, before dropping down to once again re-apply the Last Chancery but Daniels managed to rise up to a vertical base before grabbing a front face lock of his own, to then unleash a flurry of knees strikes........ But Negra held firm, squirming his way out of the flurry and then nailing Daniels with an Enziguri, before racing up the turnbuckle to plant Daniels into the canvas with a Tornado DDT...... Negra then headed for the top rope and set up for the Phoenix Firebird Splash, but Daniels got right back up and raced up the turnbuckle himself to send both crashing into the ring with a belly to back superplex....... But Negra had used his agility to flip onto his feet and as Daniels got up , Negra came charging in with a running knee strike, but Daniels was able to block and set up for the Raise The Stakes, but he struggled to get Negra up....the arm work from earlier in the match from Negra taking effect as he struggled to keep as firm hold....that allowed Negra to slip off and then stun Daniels with a back heel kick....a further kick combination then softened Daniels up further for Negra to position for the Certain Death....(Vertebreaker).... Daniels however managed to block and then tried to counter into a German Suplex, but Negra then blocked that and with a standing switch dumped Daniels with an Elemental Suplex........ One...... Two..... Thr........ Daniels managed to kick out, but Negra retained control with a kick to the head.......CERTAIN DEATH !! One........ Two....... Three !!! Phoenix Negra had come through a hard fought battle with Dean Daniels, and in the process earned himself another shot at the Undisputed Championship. This was a very good match but probably lost something due to the uncertain reaction of the fans on who to cheer for. I think with time Daniels will get over as a face, it took J.D Morgan a little while to convince the fans he was one of the good guys but he soon became a fan favourite. Result: Phoenix Negra defeated Dean Daniels in 20:04 by pinfall. Rating: B- ______________________________________________________ Backstage Ultimate Phoenix is getting ready for his up-coming Undisputed Title defence against Darryl Devine, but he has a few words for his opponent ahead of their match. Ultimate Phoenix: Darryl Devine there is no doubting, no doubting at all that you are a very good wrestler. Some might say an incredibly talented wrestler and I will make no excuses, you pinned me fair and square during the Rey De Reyes and that you have earned your shot at the twin belts. But if there is one thing I have done many times over my career is bounce back from defeat and come back stronger and make no mistake Devine I will be ready for you, Negra may be on the horizon but my focus is on you tonight and keeping hold of these twin belts. I already lost one prize to you, I don't intend to lose another......in fact I will do everthing I can to make sure that the twin belts stay with me. Devine and Bowen are livid but Graveson is standing his ground this time. As soon as the pomp and ceremony of the introductions were out of the way Devine jumped Phoenix as soon as the bell rung to gain an early advantage, but the champion held firm, weathering the storm and then snapping off a head-scissors take down....a frustrated Devine then stumble straight into a leg lariat from Phoenix, sending the Devine Right leader out of the ring before Phoenix with the momentum now swinging in his favour launched himself over the top rope with his trademark no hands plancha, wiping out Devine in the process and landing on his feet to high five the fans in the front row. Phoenix then pitches Devine back into the ring, before bringing himself in with a with a slingshot senton, crashing down upon the sternum of the 2011 Rey de Reyes winner. One..... Two...... Devine kicked out and began to get back to his feet but a kick combination ensured that Phoenix remained in control, who then spun Devine round for an Elemental Suplex. Devine however sneaked in a low blow, with a back heel flick, before escaping Phoenix' clutches and then planting the masked man into the mat with a side russian leg sweep. Devine then walked round the ring for a bit, taking a breather as he tried to regroup. That gave Phoenix time to get up though but Devine was now a step ahead, cutting off Phoenix with a Pat Deacon knee lift. That left Phoenix open for the Devine Dream Drop, however it was far too early for Devine to being for that move as Phoenix was able to block by dropping to his knees....Devine however did keep hold of the butterfly lock, before taking Phoenix over with a Butterfly suplex........ One..... Two....... Phoenix kicked out, but Devine retained control with another Pat Deacon Kneelift before the former SWF man took Phoenix back down with a swinging neckbreaker. Devine then strutted round the ring, feeling confident that he had the match in control, before heading up to the second rope. Devine then dived off with an elbow drop but Phoenix moved out of the way and then took Devine off his feet with a Dragon screw leg whip. Devine then staggered back to his feet only for Phoenix to spring off the ropes and take him down with a springboard roundhouse kick. Phoenix feeling the momentum turn back in his favour then busted out a standing corkscrew press......... One..... Two...... Thr........ Devine was able to kick out but the remained rooted to the mat, and Phoenix dragged him over to the corner before heading up top.........PHOENIX FIREBIRD SPLASH ! But Devine got the knees up, and then suddenly had Phoenix in a sleeper hold as he locked on the DEVINE DREAMS ! Devine has his Sleeper hold variation locked on right in the middle of the ring, and it looks like Phoenix has no where to go....... Graveson checks on Phoenix........ No response........... Graveson takes another look....... The arm drops down again...... Graveson with one last look....... Phoenix is still in this ! He's not going to give up the twin belts without a fight and he drags himself and Devine over to the ropes to force a rope break......... Devine then tries to get in a cheap shot on the rope break , but Phoenix ducks under and then nails Devine with an Enziguri. Phoenix then goes out onto the apron....before spiking Devine into the mat with a springboard Tornado DDT, Devine staggers back up but Phoenix takes him down with a spinning head scissors take-down. Devine then gets back up again but Phoenix plants him back onto the canvas with the FLAMING DRIVER ! One....... Two...... Thr........ Devine Kicks out ! Phoenix waits for the Devine Right leader to get to his feet before peppering Devine with a kick combination and going for another cover.......... One...... Two...... Devine kicks out again, but he remains planted to the mat and Phoenix see's the opportunity to head back up top, but Devine gets back up, stumbling into the ropes and causing Phoenix to lose his footing and fall backwards into the tree of woe position. Devine seeing that Phoenix was in the now precarious position, then came charging in to deliver a running drop kick........ He then lifted a dazed Phoenix out of the corner and took the defending champion over with the DEVINEPLEX (Northern Lights Suplex).......... One....... Two....... Thr......... Phoenix kicked out, but Devine was now in control and once again looked to butterfly the arms for the Devine Dream Drop but Phoenix was able to block again and then break free with elbows to the gut......Devine then sent Phoenix into the ropes looking to close the gap with a clothesline but Phoenix ducked under and then sprang back off with the springboard roundhouse, Devine however managed to avoid that and came springing back with the Devine Intervention (springboard back elbow)........ But as he caught Phoenix, he knocked the defending champion into Brett Graveson in the process, causing the referee to fall flat on his face. Devine wasn't fazed though and saw this as an opportunity to secure the victory....planting Phoenix into the mat with a Russian leg-sweep then going out to the announcers table to grab one of the Twin Belts....... Devine then stalked Phoenix ready to level the champion with the strap of leather and gold. But before he could do it Phoenix Negra suddenly slid into the ring and drilled Devine with the other belt ! Graveson then got up back to his feet, only for Negra to slide out of the ring, dropping the title belts on both Devine and Phoenix. Brett Graveson the came too, saw both Phoenix and Devine layed out with one half of the Twin Belts laying a top of them and immediately called for the bell. Ultimate Phoenix may have retained his title but a huge psychological blow was just struck by his nemesis Phoenix Negra. The crowd were hot for this match throughout and though the finish was screwy, the fans actually lapped it up as it only serves to add more heat to the Phoenix' feud, whilst Devine now has his own issues with Negra who has just denied him the chance of winning the twin belts. Result: Ultimate Phoenix drew with Darryl Devine in 16:20 following a double DQ . Both parts are now up, next show will be back to a single post. As ever feel free to leave feedback on the show, even it it's to bemoan the push of Devine Right as the new dominant heel stable in FCW :p I will also take this an opportunity to say a big thank you once again for those who voted for me in the year end awards. I was pleasantly surprised to win in so many categories, most of them shared (but I'm not greedy !). Sharing the writer of the year award with Nevermore was the prize I'm of course most proud of, considering that there are so many great writers on these boards, that I would have had no shame in losing out to. :) As for how long I will keep this diary going for, I have an idea for a cut off date and it probably coincides with reaching a certain goal and that goal is some way off yet. With my Burning Hammer diary I always intended to keep that going longer than I did and I still had plenty of ideas for feuds beyond where I ended it. But then TEW2008 came out and I couldn't be motivated to continue with a TEW 07 diary game, I did at least manage to end that with a great show and I hope to do the same with this diary when the time comes but as I said that will be some way off.

I'm all for Devine Right becoming the top stable. If its fun to write and to read, it works. As for the diary ending, TK, I hope its awhile yet. It remains one of the best reads on the board here, and that's a high compliment given the quality in some of the diaries here.

I certainly do see a few more game world years left in this diary and I wont be ending it anytime soon. Realistically I see me keeping this going up until the summer at least, beyond that I'm not sure it will depend on how happy I am with where the diary is at, in terms of having a nice end point. As I mentioned with my BHOTWG diary, I had plenty of ideas to carry that on but I did manage to end it with a big show that brought to a close alot of long term feuds. There's plenty of life in this diary yet. I think one of my aims should be to get a Tag Team Title match with a C Rating or higher !

September in Review A quiet news month in FCW to be honest. The Annviversario show was once again one of our best shows of the year. Surely it must be getting close to rising in 'importance' soon ? We also had a good month financially, making just over $15'000 profit, which was important to off-set the loss of nearly the same amount we had last month. Since we made back nearly $50'000 during our rest month of May, we have been making and then losing $15'000 dollars each month, depending on how many shows we run. Until we can start turning a profit for months where we run more than one show, it looks like this is the model we will have to stick to. As much as I would love to see us expand our schedule, this seems like the most sensible model right now, as the 'touring' schedule idea didn't really work out earlier in the year. I am however contemplating putting one more non Puerto Rico based show towards the end of the year (Tri-State is the likely destination again) The only other news this month is that we have signed Marc 'M.C' Speed to a contract extension. Since W.O.V broke up he's been a bit directionless, no one really knows if he is with Primus now or not and to be honest I'm unsure whether to re-unite him with old tag partner, see him go in a completely new direction (dropping the M.C Speed gimmick) or before he signed his contract even letting him go. I decided to keep him around as he is a solid hand amongst the lower end of the roster, plus he also dropped his pay demands. ___________________________________________________________ Rival Promotion Watch CZCW's Reach for the Sky was a passable show (C Rating overall), that could have been better, if the show followed a more logical format. Ultimate Phoenix made a strong defence (B) of the Coastal Zone Championship against Remmy Skye in a champion vs champion match but for some bizarro reason they put a Six Man Tag (Rated C) on as the main event. MAW's Face The Hangman was a mixed bag of a show (resulting in a C rating overall), there were some excellent matches that saw James Hernandez defeat Billy Russell (B-) and Steve Flash go over Darryl Devine also rated B- but Mean Jean Cattley made a disappointing defence (rated C) of the Mid Atlantic title against J.D Morgan in the main event. NYCW In or Out was probably a little weaker than both MAW's and CZCW's shows but was pretty consistent throughout (also earning a C Rating overall). Steve Flash succesfully defened the Empire title against Billy Russell (Rated C) whilst Ryan Powell and Fox Mask stol the show with a C+ rated match during the middle of the show. PSW Deadlock was the usual case of mediocrity from PSW, the show actually had a good semi main event by their lowly standards (Rated C) at triple threat match that saw JD Morgan go over Ryan Powell and Johnny Martin. Unfortunately the main event was a poor D Rated defence of the PSW Championship by The Wolverine over Tank Bradley. RIPW did not have the worst show this month as their For the Ages show rated at a D+ overall. The main event was a D+ rated tag match that saw Matt Sparrow and Stevie Grayson 'upset' Avalanche and Mick Muscles. It has to be said that none of our 'rivals' were anywhere near us this month, CZCW, NYCW and MAW all put on 'average' shows whilst PSW and RIPW continue to be so far behind ourselves and the other three. To be honest PSW and RIPW are so insignificant right now, I think I'll just report on CZCW, NYCW and MAW from next month. ___________________________________________________________ September News and Notes From Around The Wrestling World General News Someone has to be a scapegoat for SWF's latest fall back to Cult Size, and as per usual it's the person in position of head booker. Farrah Hesketh's tenure as head booker started off brightly, as she too took over when there was downturn in SWF's fortunes. If anything she can count herself unlucky as it's poor business decision like running most of their shows outside the U.S during 2011 that was the sports entertainment giants undoing and not the booking of the storylines/matches. In a move that came out of nowhere Hesketh's replacement as head booker is NYCW veteran The Masked Mauler. Perhaps the hiring of Mauler will be a masterstroke but there are mutterings that Richard Eisen has 'lost it' Worker Signings Slim V has returned to 4C, as they continue to expand their roster since their rise to Cult Size. Zoe Ammis signs with AAA, adding them an already busy schedule that also includes CWWF and 5SSW. APW add creepy newcomer The Void to their roster, not that he has a lot of choice because they're the only choice in Australia. Edd Stone, the Black Sheep of the Stone family has signed with rival promotion CGC. Tracy Brendon has returned to CWWF. Her first spell with the Canadian promotion was two years ago. Kinuye Mushashibo who has struggled to find work in her native Japan has somewhat suprisingly decided to join European based Sports Entertainment promotion EWA. Veteran Hirokazu Yamanoue plus gaijin's Nigel Svensson and Willie York will be taking part in INSPIRE's up coming Autumn tour. MAW fill some gaps in the roster with the additions of The Cannoball Kid (Samuel Pratt) and former SWF Tag Team mainstay Grease Hogg. Curiously though MAW have yet to sign Hogg's long term tag partner and real life friend Lead Belly. Rebelde Loco is the latest 'star name' to sign up to MHW. As was suspected last month former SOTBPW mainstay Mexican Ghoul has jumped ship to a rival promotion, choosing OLLIE as his new home. Ricky DeColt has added PSW to his schedule. Even though DeColt has yet to establish himself in the U.S this could be a good move for PSW. Thing DeColt might not get over due to the dreadful 'boys own' club booking that has seen the promotion struggle to make any growth in recent years. Black Eagle who signed only a nine month long contract with SWF, has taken the decision to jump to rivals TCW on a written contract. Antonio Maxi Marquez, Extraordinario Jr, Mr Lucha II, Nathaniel Ca$ino ....for FFS just sign a written contract. Also about to go on tour with WLW will be Jack Marlowe (no stranger to tours of Japan), whilst Tanyu Toshusai has signed a written deal with the Global giants. Worker Extensions 21CW extend the contracts of Jonathan Faust, Rolling Johnny Stones, Petey Barnes, Stefan Raynor and Martin Heath. 4C extend the contracts of Eric Blackley, Kamikaze Christian Vars and Jason Thunder. 5SSW extend the contracts of Raku Makuda, retired legend Sensational Ogiwara, announcer Kuniyoshi Chishu plus referee Yasuyuki Terado and Akikazu Miyagi. A busy month for AAA as they secure much of their roster (10 workers in all) to new contracts, key amongst them are top contenders champion Devil's Daughter and Sara Marie York. APW extend the contracts of Swoop McCarthy, Debonair Dave Peterson, Harry Simonsen, Blake Belushi, Maurice Jackson and road agent Markus Rush. BHOTWG secure former World Champions Hooded Kudo and Samoan Machine, youngster Taro Shionoya and veteran Harumi Okazawaya to new exclusive written contracts. BSC extend the contracts of Lindsay Sugar, manager Sienna DeVille and head booker/road agent Marilyn Stardust. CGC extend the contracts of Philip LaGrenier, Hugh de Aske, Sgt Bubba Lee West, Dirty Frank and referee Francis Long. CZCW extend the contracts of former champion Harry Allen, California Love Machine, color commentator Alex Braun and valet Rita Charles. EWA extend the contracts of Bam Bam Johansson, Frank De Pain and women's wrestler Aud D'Hoffyrn. GCG secure Dynamite Narahashi and Hitomaro Suzuki to new written contracts. Hinote Dojo secure Taheji Konoe and Matsudaira Morioka to new PPA deals. Top level gaijin's Raul Hughes and Mike Watson re-sign with INSPIRE. MAW extend the contracts of Mean Jean Cattley, Steve Flash, Bobby Thomas, The Sensational Singh and announcer Marv Earnest. MHW extend the contract of Hombre de la Energia. MOSC extend the contract of manager Mark Moore. A busy month of negotiations for MPWF, as they extend the contracts of 16 current roster members. Key amongst them are Soul Taker, El Bandito and Angel De Mexico. Owen Love signs an exclusive new written contract extension with NOTBPW. NYCW extend the contract of long time valet/ring-girl Fern Hathaway. OLLIE extend the contracts of Phoenix II, Rafael Ruiz, Luis Montero Jr and valet Secreto. Legend and road agent Koryusu Kitoaji and referee Shihei Nagano sign new written contracts with PGHW. PSW extend the contracts of Tank Bradley and Ryan Powell. RIPW extend the PPA deals of Assasin #2 (Ernie Turner), referee David Poker, color-commentor Mayhem Midden and manager Brains McGhee. ROF extend the contracts of Billy Robinson and Wade Orson. SAISHO extend the PPA deals of Stuart Ferdinand, Totoya Munkata and announcer Danjuro Komatsu. SOTBPW extend the contracts of Amazing Fire Fly, Vincente Romero, valet Jennifer Heat plus referees Guillmero 'Fast' Navarro and Ramirez. Referee Ric Young and backstage interviewer Ana Garcia sign PPA deals with the currently ailing SWF. TCW secure Rick Law, announcer Jason Azaria and valet Jasmine Saunders to new exclusive written contracts. UEW extend the contract of Rahabad Lawal. USPW extend the contracts of Giant Redwood and Sheik Mustafa. Worker Releases/Departures D.O.A has been released by APW. Rodger Dodger did not get his contract renewed by CGC, where he worked as Gigolo Jack Stein. Anna Ki is the latest women's wrestler to leave EWA due to frustration at a lack of focus for their women's division. Exodus 2010 allow referee Masami Aizawa to depart as a cost cutting measure. Hirokumi Saito does not renew his contract with INSPIRE. Riley McManus is released by MAW. MHW were rocked by the departure of current Campeon del Mundo Tijuana Vampire, after they failed to meet his contract demands. John Greed is released by SWF as they look to trim their roster following their fall to cult size and as reported in the worker signings section Black Eagle jumped ship to TCW Injuries GCG mainstay Takayuki 2000 suffered a huge blow, when he sustained a shattered knee. The injury that came about as an unfortunate accident during a routine tag match will keep him out of action for a whole year. Retirements El Critico most associated with working for the OLLIE promotion has decided to hang up the boots at the relatively young age of 36. Critico started his career as a Tecnico and was noted for his technical excellence, however an angle that saw him turn on 'best friend' El Leon saw him become one of the most hated 'Rudos' in Lucha Libre over night. Until his capture of the Campeon de Mundo in OLLIE in 2009 he was also seen as one of the 'nearly men' of Lucha Libre having never won a major title, despite being in many high profile feuds. Critico also went on to win the Campeon de Mundo a year later, where he held for a whole year only losing the title this month prior to his retirement. American veteran Stuart Ferdinand, who worked much of his career in Japan has retired at age 47. The pinnacle of Ferdinand's career came in GCG during 2006-2008 when he twice won the GCG World Heavweight Tag Team Titles alongside Nathan Coleman, 'Garbage' wrestler Nobuhito Ogiwara best known for his work with the now defunct WEXVV promotion has hung up the boots at 38. He had been out of demand in recent years, due to no promotions in Japan taking up the 'Garbage' wrestling mantle of WEXVV since that promotions closure. Lets Call It Love Witnesses backstage at USPW report that there is a blossoming romance between Aaron 'Jumbo' Jackson and Stephanie Wade of the Women's division. Title Changes It's all change in 5SSW as all the titles changed hands. Fuyuko Higa defeated Dragon Assassin to become the World Champion for a second time, Shiori Jippensha claimed her third All Asian Title reign and Cuture Shock (Kawamata & J-Ro) won the Tag Titles for a second time. The Survivors (Blake Belushi & Maurice Jackson) ended the dominant 18 month long tag APW Tag Title reign of Crash and Burn (NZ Pitbull & Boo Smithson) only to lose their title in their first defence to the team of Darkness Rising (consisting of Belushi's former tag partner Rick Stantz and Spiffy Stan Standish). Gorgon ended the year long reign of Sister Beth Mercy to become the new Queen of the Ring in BSC. You did read that right, Gorgon, quite possibly one of the least attractive women in wrestling, is the top dog in a promotion based around showing as much flesh as possible. Philip LaGrenier ended the 14 month long reign of Lee Rivera to become the new Hardcore champion in 4C. Both singles titles in Exodus 2010 changed hands as White Samurai claimed the Golden Crown and JOJI won the Silver Crown. Sean Deeley took claim of the GCG Openweight Title, to win his first singles gold in Japan and there was more gaijin success as Roy Edison teamed with Greg Keith to win the World Tag Team Titles. Genio Verde defeated Magnifico to claim the vacant MHW Campeon de Mundo title, following the sudden departure of preceding champion Tijuana Vampire. Ultimate Phoenix continues to have an incredible year, winning the OLLIE Campeon de Universal title by defeating El Critico in a title vs career match, adding the belt to a growing collection that also includes the FCW Undisputed Championship and CZCW Coastal Zone Championship. Fumihiro Ota regained the All Action Title from rival Acid, in TCW to win the belt for a sixth time.

Delorean Driver.com Your Top Wrestling News Site Notes From A Small Island: Ultimate Phoenix may have held onto the Undisputed Championship at Anniversario against Darryl Devine but the man standing tall at the end of last month's epic show for was Phoenix's nemesis Phoenix Negra, who laid out both Phoenix and Devine during the title match. FCW return to the Ricardo Montenez Ballroom in San Juan on Tuesday October 11th, with the main event being a special attraction tag match, on one side Undisputed Champion Ultimate Phoenix will team with Dean Daniels, whilst on the other side will be Darryl Devine and Phoenix Negra. Which of the two teams will be able to trust their partner enough to score a major momentum boosting victory, considering the intense rivalry that is growing between all four competitors. Meanwhile Da Power who is looking to once again get himself into Undisputed Title contention takes on one half of the Tag Team Champion Animal Magic in the form of Fox Mask. Meanwhile Fox Mask's fellow Tag champion Masked Cougar goes up against K.C Glenn. Two teams looking to get another shot at the Tag Team Titles are UNITY and The Ring Generals, and the two face off against one another in a match that could well earn either a team another shot at the titles. There will be a Six Man Tag as the masked trio of Angel De Mexico, Capitao Brasil Jr and El Mitico Jr take on the Devine Right trio of Jared Johnson and the Heat Magnets. Mitico who made his debut last month, already has issues with Devine Right after he was 'screwed' out of victory over Arthur Dexter Bradley. Meanwhile the enforcer of the Devine Right stable Bulldozer Brandon Smith was able to defeat Mainstream Hernandez for the People's Championship last month and will make his first defence of the title against Hernandez' Totally Einstein Tag Partner Bradford Peverall. It was a 'friendly fire' incident from Peverall that cost Hernandez the title last month and it's debatable whether or not the Mainstreamer would be pleased to see his tag partner win the title. Hernandez himself will be in action as he looks to get back on the winning track against the Mr Electricity. Rounding out the main show card UNITY's Charles Rainier takes on Big Eazy of W.O.V Gold and Captain Morgan will be hoping to impress when he gets the chance to take on one of the most respected members of the roster in the form of Steve Flash. The Pre-show match will be a 4 corner survival featuring Rudy Velasquez, Joe Benning, Leftie Wilkes and M.C Speed.
