FCW Amigo O Enemigo Special Attraction Tag: Ultimate Phoenix & Dean Daniels vs Darryl Devine & Phoenix Negra - Draw. No-one hear can trust anyone else. Da Power vs Fox Mask - Incidentally, is PRP worth the hassle you have with him? It seems like, as a performer, he must be behind a fair few others for match ratings. People's Championship: Bulldozer Brandon Smith vs Bradford Peverall - I can see Mainstream costing his partner the title. Of course, that would mean helping the guy who went after Sara, so drama! Six Man Battle: Angel De Mexico, Capitao Brasil & El Mitico vs Jared Johnson & Heat Magnets - Is it just me, or do DB and EM have the same face under their masks? Anyway, Devine Right to take this as ADM is probably the best wrestler in the match, DR would make the better team. Mainstream Hernandez vs Mr Electricity - Not-Kashmir is a cult smash, but a box office flop :p K.C Glenn vs Masked Cougar - Always pulling for mini-HBK here Charles Rainier vs Big Eazy - WOV Gold! UNITY vs The Ring Generals - More trouble for Unity Captain Morgan vs Steve Flash - This has the potential to be an entertaining undercard match 4CS: Velasquez vs Benning vs Wilkes vs Speed - Picking the guy with the biggest upside. Has he shaken his rust yet?
Incidentally, is PRP worth the hassle you have with him? It seems like, as a performer, he must be behind a fair few others for match ratings.
Not much choice though really is there? He's the owner so you're kinda stuck with him.
Incidentally, is PRP worth the hassle you have with him? It seems like, as a performer, he must be behind a fair few others for match ratings.
Before I transferred PRP's overness to better wrestlers, he did get better match ratings but even then I got match ratings that were just as good if not better with better workers who had less popularity. He's not the worst wrestler on the roster but he's far from being amongst the best either and he was only pushed as a big deal because he's the owner of FCW. The main annoying thing about him is his Creative Control, I know I got round that once with the botched inteference but that was only for a special circumstance, because it irritated me that he still wouldn't put Phoenix over. As big of a pain as can be, it just wouldn't FCW without PRP having a somewhat prominent role but I'll hardly be upset if he decides to retire anytime soon.
As big of a pain as can be, it just wouldn't FCW without PRP having a somewhat prominent role but I'll hardly be upset if he decides to retire anytime soon.
This is what I've found interesting. For all his big talk, you've not had him in a main event storyline for some months now. He seems to continue to deliver decent match/angle ratings, without needing to be the be all and end all. Others are carrying the main event, while Power can give workers like Allen and Speed a taste of the top spot, wihout risking them in the main event. Given that he's not exactly going to leave, and presumably wouldn't fire you for not booking him, you could almost run a storyline where he transitions into a non-active role, but continues to bring the awesome on the mic. Admittedly, it might lead to him hating you which would be bad, but it's just interesting for me as a reader how you've got around the Puerto Rican Problem :p

M.C Speed was the man in the right place at the right time, this time round when he spiked Joe Benning into the canvas with the W.O.V Spike (Double Arm DDT). Rudy Velasquez isn't quite where I want him to be right now, as he has yet to work off the ring-rust and until he does he'll probably be used as a glorified jobber. I still do plan to use him in a more prominent role, but my plans for him may well have changed from what I originally envisioned for him. Cougar managed to just kick out, which led to Glenn climbing to the top to set up for the 450 splash, but Cougar managed to roll out of the way. Glenn managed to land on his feet but was then knocked out of the ring with a Cougar Pounce. That led to Masked Cougar racing up to the top turnbuckle and then wiping Glenn out with a moonsault press. Back in the ring Cougar set up for the I Am Cougar Hear Me Roar but Glenn had the moved scouted, fighting out with elbows...to create some distance between himself and the Tag champion. Glenn then rebounded off the ropes trying to nail Cougar with the Tune Up The Sunshine Band, only for Cougar to catch the leg and plant the youngster with a leg hook Belly to Back suplex. With Glenn still planted to the mat Cougar headed up top, and then as Glenn got back to his feet, the Animal Magic man wiped the protege of Joey Minnesota out with the High Rise Cougar Pounce to pick up the victory. These two put on a solid enough match, though it was never going to still the show, all in all it was a fine as a relatively low key opening contest. Result: Masked Cougar defeated KC Glenn in 8:32 by pinfall. Rating: D+ ___________________________________________________ Match #2: Mainstream Herrnandez w/ Sara Silver vs Mr Electricity w/ vs Mr Electricity looks full of energy coming down to the ring as he struts down to the ring to the tune of Good Times by Chic blaring out of the speakers. His win-loss record may not be that great but he gives out the aura that he truly believes that he is the greatest thing ever in the ring and on the dance floor. The entrance of Mainstream Hernandez though is a complete contrast, as the former People's champ cuts a dejected looking figure as he heads out to the ring....Sara Silver is trying her best to pep him up, but he looks far from being the fun loving 'Mainstreamer' the FCW fans all know and love. As the bell rings, Mr Electricity backs off and then request a microphone..... Mr Electricity: You know what Mainstreamer, you look a bit down....you look like you need cheering up....... Herrnandez has a what the hell look on his face, but the flamboyant disco lover continues on.... But you know what cheers me up, busting out a few moves...on the dance floor. We should most definitely get out groove on, in fact how about me, you and the lovely Sara all gettin' our groove...... But before Electricity can finish his sentance Hernandez clocks him with a right hand, before whipping Electricity into the corner, an incensed Hernandez then pounds away on Electricity, eventually stompin the flamboyant one into a seated position. Hernandez then follows in with a running knee strike, showing an almost animalistic vicious streak to him that he has never shown before. Brett Graveson then warns Hernandez to back off, but the Mainstreamer continues to pound away on a defenceless Mr Electricity. It looks like Graveson is going to call for a DQ but Sara Silver hops up on the apron and pleads Hernandez to stop. The Mainstreamer then backs off, but that allows Electricity to get a cheap shot in, with a lnee to the groin, before sending Hernandez down with a DDT. For the next few minutes it's all Mr Electricity who works over the Totally Einstein man with a methodical offence whilst playing to the crowd by strutting around the ring doing dance moves between each strike landed on his opponent. However he loses his focus when going for a top-rope elbow drop and Hernandez is able to move out of the way and then as Electricity gets up the Mainstreamer nails him with a superkick. That brings Hernandez a two count, who then plants the flamboyant indian born wrestler into the mat with the Pontiac to Home, before sealing the victory with the Apparition#14 (Moonsault Leg drop). A slightly odd match, as it sort of teased a possible heel turn for Hernandez at the start, before settling into the expected pattern of Mr Electricity playing the smarmy heel and Hernandez playing the heroic babyface. Result: Mainstream Hernandez defeated Mr. Electricity in 9:06 by pinfall. Rating: D+ Match #3: People's Championship: Bulldozer Brandon Smith w/ Lisa Bowen vs Bradford Peverall w/Sara Silver w/ vs w/ Before the match Mainstream Hernandez insisted that Sara Silver came wth him to the back, but she held firm and insisted that they stay out here to support Bradford Peverall, eventually Hernandez relented...saying that he was staying out here for her and her only. As soon as the bell rung they laid into each other and went back and forth with brawling. BBS may well have had the power advantage but Peverall was fired up and had the Bulldozer on the backfoot with a flurry of his trademark European Uppercuts that backed he Devine Right enforcer up into the corner. Peverall then came charging in with a running European only for BBS to get the boots up and then launch himself off the second turnbuckle with a flying shoulder block. Then as Peverall got to his feet, BBS took full control with a clothesline that sent the Totally Einstein man over the top-rope. BBS then stalked to the outside, going right after Peverall, whipping the former two time Tag champion into the guard-rail and then bodyslamming Peverall back first onto the floor. BBS then pitched Peverall into the ring and went for an arrogant cover, before lifting Peverall up. The Devine Right enforcer, then toyed with Peverall for severall minutes before finally setting up for a Back Drop Driver but Peverall fought out with a series of back elbows, before exploding into life with another flurry of European Uppercuts. BBS then tried to cut off the flurry with a lariat, but Peverall was able to side-step out of the way and then peppered BBS with jabs, before landing a discus clothesline to complete the Rapid Eye Movement sequence. BBS kicked out of the subsequent cover, before Peverall decided to go high risk and head up top. BBS then staggered up to his feet before being knocked back down with a diving corkscrew Uppercut from Peverall. Peverall then went for the cover....... One..... Two...... BBS kicked out, but remained dazed and Peverall set up for the Totally Totalled but BBS was proving difficult to get up, so Peverall suddenly used the PONTIAC TO HOME (the swinging Reverse STO so often used by Mainstream Hernandez) to plant the Bulldozer into the mat. But as Peverall went for the cover, Lisa Bowen got up on the apron...that then lead to Sara Silver coming round to confront her leading to a cat fight that caught the attention of Brett Graveson. With Graveson distracted Hernandez then slid into the ring with a chair.....Hernandez swung for BBS, but the Bulldozer moved out of the way and the Mainstreamer ended up clocking Peverall instead. Hernandez then scarpered out of the ring, the look on his face giving nothing away to keep the fans guessing if it was another 'friendly fire' incident or if Hernandez had just laid out his own Tag partner. BBS then reeled a dazed Peverall in before delivering a series of clubbing blows and then drilling the Totally Einstein man into the mat with the ATOMIC DRILLER to make a succesful first defence of the People's Championship. These two put on a pretty good straight ahead brawl and served as a pretty good start to Bulldozer's reign with the belt. Result: Bulldozer Brandon Smith defeated Bradford Peverell in 9:57 by pinfall. Bulldozer Brandon Smith retains the FCW People's Championship title. Rating: C After the match the Totally Einstein trio of Mainstream Hernandez, Bradford Peverall and Sara Silver are having a heated argument as Bulldozer celebrates with Lisa Bowen in the ring. Hernandez is now pleading innocence saying that the chair shot was an accident but Peverall is having none of it and they almost come to blows until Sara Silver is able to calm both of them down. Back in the ring BBS and Bowen are enjoying the 'drama' unfold before them. Rating: D ______________________________________________________ Match #4: UNITY (Harry Allen & Nicky R!ot) vs The Ring Generals (Marv Statler & Dean Waldorf) & vs & The Ring Generals managed to get an early advantage in this one by isolating Harry Allen. However Allen fought back by using dirty tactics, even sneaking in a low blow on Dean Waldord before getting the hot-tag into Nicky R!ot. R!ot then cleaned house until he ran out of steam and found himself isolated by the Ring Generals, but he was able to fight out of a 'Lesson Learned' attempt and took both of the Generals down with a double clothesline, before back body dropping Marv Statler out of the ring, where Harry Allen was waiting to cream Statler with a chair shot. That left Waldorf isolated, to eat another clothesline then get dumped with a 'Charles Peterson' for UNITY to pick up the victory. They probably could have shaved about three minutes off this match and it wouldn't have lost anything, the most interesting thing of note is the increasing adoption of 'heel tactics' by UNITY. Result: UNITY. defeated The Ring Generals in 8:56 when Nicky R!ot defeated Dean Waldorf by pinfall. Flash worked through his classic repetoire in a five minute time span, whilst Captain Morgan did a good job of selling for Flash by stumbling around like a drunk in a bar-fight with the deluded drunken 'pirate' eventually falling to the Flash Bang. Angel De Mexico then played 'Spencer Marks' for a bit, until he was able to get the tag into Capitao Brasil who soon found himself isolated. The Heat Magnets and Jared Johnson did a good job of cutting off the ring and garnered some real heat with successive Tar Heel Stomps on Capitao. However the masked Brazilian was able to survive the onslaught and after a miscommunication between Jared Johnson and Matt Hocking, he was able to finally get the hot tag into El Mitico. El Mitico then cleaned house and looked like he might get the win with the Quicksilver Suplex on Johnson, until ADB dived in to make the save. From there it completely broke down with Angel De Mexico wiping everyone out with a moonsault to the floor. That lead to a series of near-falls that eventually lead to Capitao Brasil and Jared Johnson as the final two standing. Capitao grabbed the advantage with a leg-sweep before deciding to head top but he got pushed off the top by a recovered Matt Hocking.....that then lead to Johnson spiking him into the mat with a DDT, then applying the Carolina Crossface as the Heat Magnets held off Angel De Mexico and El Mitico, leaving Capitao with no other choice but to tap out. Result: Jared Johnson and Heat Magnets defeated Ángel De México, Capitão Brasil Jr and El Mítico Jr in 10:09 when Jared Johnson defeated Capitão Brasil Jr by submission. Rating: D+ ____________________________________________________ I'm just about to go out for my match with Big Eazy, when the W.O.V Gold man jumps me from behind, gaining an instant early advantage. However for all Eazy's early domination, he became over confident and almost stole victory with a series of flash pin-falls, until the former Eddie Howard was able to plant me onto the mat with a powerslam. The W.O.V Gold man then lifted me up for a vertical suplex but I slipped out and then stunned him with the Raindrop (Dropsault). Luckily for Eazy he landed near the ropes and was able to save himself. I then decided to take a risk and set up for a moonsault , only for Eazy to get up club me from behind and then launch me back into the ring with the Natural Ending (Release Powerbomb). Somehow I bravely/foolishly got up from that, because all I got for trying to fight on was to be taken down with the Powerline and there wasn't any chance of me getting up from that. Unable to get a foot hold in the match Power stepped outside to get consoled by Carl Batch but Fox Mask was determined to keep up the pressure and launched himself onto Power with an Arabian Press, however it back fired for the diminutive Tag champion as Power caught him in mid-air and power-bombed him into the apron. Power then rolled Fox Mask into the ring and went for the cover, but pulled Fox Mask up at two, just so he could dish out more punishment ! Power then whipped Fox Mask into the corner and came charging in, only for Fox Mask to move out of the way and then tag Power with an Enziguri, before attempting to get Power over with the Fox Flip Off DDT but Power held firm and then launched Fox Mask out onto the floor with a military press slam. Power then went out to the floor, and went to bring a chair into the ring...which Brett Graveson put a stop to however all that did was provide a distraction for Carl Batch and Big Eazy to lay in the boots and put the bad mouth on Fox Mask, before pitching the Animal Magic man back into the ring. Power then taunted Fox Mask to get up before clocking the Tag champion with a fore-arm smash and then following up with a vertical suplex...... One...... Two...... But Power lifted Fox Mask up again, signalling that he wasn't done. Power then strutted round the ring and jawed with the fans, before dropping a stalling elbow to the sternum of the Tag champion........ One..... Two......... Fox Mask kicked out and then took Power by surprise with a small package. Power, powered out and then stepped up a gear, suddenly pounding away on Fox Mask with fore-arms and knee lifts. Power then whipped the diminutive masked man into the ring-ropes and set up for the roaring elbow, but Fox Mask ducked under and then came back with a basement drop-kick that unbalanced Da Power....Da Power tried to come back with a clothesline but Fox Mask was able to duck that also, before nailing Power with another drop-kick. Fox Mask then went out onto the apron before nailing Power with a springboard missile drop-kick. A fired up Fox Mask then got right back up again, to spring back off the ropes onto Power with a quebrada...... One...... Two...... Power got up, and then re-took control setting up for a Power-bomb only for Fox Mask to snap off a head-scissors take-down......Fox Mask then nailed a shell-shocked Da Power with the FOX HUNTER ! (Shining Wizard Enziguri)........ One..... Two...... Thr........ Carl Batch managed to manouere Da Power's feet onto the ropes, saving the former Undisputed Champion from a shock defeat. Fox Mask was undettered though and set up once again for the Fox Flip Off DDT, but once again Power was able to block the attempt and crotched Fox Mask on the top- turnbuckle. Power then dropped Fox Mask into the tree of woe position and came charging in with a SAN JUAN RUSH ! A dazed Fox Mask then dropped to the mat, as Da Power immediately went for the cover....... One..... Two...... Three ! A match of two gears, it was very plodding and methodical when Power was in control and then suddenly switched to going along at about a thousand miles an hour when Fox Mask had the advantage. It truly was a clash of styles, but when they did get on the same page it they were able to put on a fairly decent match, though most of the fans were never really buying into Fox Mask being able to gain the upset win. Negra is able to lose his speed and agility to gain the advantage in the early going but Daniels weathers the storm and counters a springboard moonsault press into a belly to back suplex. However Negra is able to scramble over and gets the tag into Darryl Devine. But Devine tags out as soon as Daniels begins to gain an advantage, Negra then gets in a cheap shot and peppers the former People's champ with a combination of kicks...before planting Daniels onto the mat with a leg-sweep. Negra then goes to lock on the Last Chancery but Devine tags in without his knowledge an Negra is ordered out of the ring ! Devine then stomps away on Daniels, giving the former People's champ the bad mouth at the same time. The Devine Right leader then looked to lock in the Devine Dreams but Daniels was able to fight out and began coming back with a flurry of fore-arms but the comeback was cut off with an eye poke and a Pat Deacon Knee-lift. Devine then immediately looked for the Devine Dream Drop but Daniels had it scouted and countered with a back body-drop, before scrambling across to get in the tag...only for Negra to rush out and knock his nemesis Ultimate Phoenix off the apron.... Devine then dragged Daniels over, only for Negra to 'return' the 'blind-tag' favour much to the frustration of the Devine Right leader. Negra then looked to set Daniels up for the Certain Death but Daniels was able to block and dumped Negra with a belly to back suplex..... He then tagged in Ultimate Phoenix, and given the history Daniels had with his tag partner for the night, this earned a big pop from the crowd and helped to further establish Daniels as a face...... The Undisputed Champion who had been dying to get into the match, went right after Phoenix Negra and as the fresher competitor he had the edge, as Negra struggled to keep pace with what Phoenix threw at him. Eventually Negra rolled out of the ring after a head-scissors take down from a fired up Ultimate Phoenix. Phoenix then set up for his trademark no hands plancha, but put the brakes on as soon as he saw Negra side-step out of the way. Phoenix then went for a suicide dive through the ropes only for Darryl Devine to come over and cut him off with a running knee on the apron ! Phoenix then staggered back, as Negra got back up onto the apron and then spiked his nemesis into the canvas with a springboard Tornado DDT ! One..... Two....... Phoenix kicked out, but found himself isolated in the wrong part of town, as Devine and Negra finally got on the same page and began to work together to wear the Undisputed Champion down. Devine then feeling that Phoenix is significantly weakened dumps the champion the Devineplex (Northern Lights Suplex) but Phoenix shows his resillience by kicking out. That does not deter Devine who orders Negra to head up top as he plants Phoenix across his knee with a backbreaker, as Negra dives off the top rope with a leg-drop..... One..... Two...... Phoenix kicks out again, but is dragged back to his feet by Darryl Devine......Devine sets Phoenix up for a belly to back suplex and Negra looks to give an assist with a super-kick, but the Undisputed champion ducks and Negra ends up nailing Devine ! Phoenix then thinks quickly and nails Negra with a drop-kick sending his nemesis out of the ring as he looks to get the tag into Dean Daniels........ But Devine is back up and cuts Phoenix off from making the tag, he then sets Phoenix up for the Devine Dream Drop but Phoenix manages to work his way out and then nails Devine with an Enziguri, before diving through Devine's legs to get the tag into Daniels ! That gets an even bigger pop from the crowd as Daniels goes right after Devine......reeling off a gutbuster, backbreaker.....snap suplex tri-fecta combination.......... One..... Two........ Daniels then lifts an out of sorts Devine back to a vertical base and immediately goes for the trapped knees ! Devine has no where to go, but Negra re-announces his arrival back into the match with a missile drop-kick, breaking up the flurry of trapped knees in the process. Negra then stops Daniels in his tracks with a back heel kick to the mid-section....BRAINBUSTER !!, LAST CHANCERY !! But Graveson tells Negra that he's not the legal man and he is forced to let go of the submission. Negra then drags a limp Devine over to his corner and gets the tag in before going right after Daniels, but Daniels has now come alive and he levels Negra with a explosive LARIAT ! One........ Two......... Negra kicks out.....Daniels then lifts Negra back to his feet and sets up for the Raise The Stakes, only for Devine to come back into the ring and get a cheap shot in on Daniels. Daniels now finds himself isolated in the Devine/Negra corner. Devine then tags back in, running the ropes to stun Daniels with the Devine intervention springboard back elbow, before once again looking to plant Daniels into the mat with the Devine Dream Drop, but Daniels holds firm so Devine switches to a Side Russian Leg-sweep....he then tags in Negra and orders the masked man to go up top.......Negra then sets up for the Phoenix Firebird Splash, but Ultimate Phoenix is back up and he springs off the ropes to send his nemesis crashing back into the ring with a springboard rana ! Only for Darryl Devine to cut off his momentum with a Pat Deacon Knee-lift.......followed by the DEVINE DREAM DROP !! Dean Daniels however is back up and clobbers Devine with a fore-arm smash, he then takes Devine over with a release belly to belly suplex.......But Negra is back up and he nails Daniels with a leg-lariat ! , Brainbuster from the mysterious masked man, who then heads up top but is cut off by Devine ?!!! Deviine double under-hooks the arms DEVINE NIGHTMARE DROP ! on his own tag partner ! Devine then looks for the DFA Flying elbow drop on the still prone Dean Daniels, but he completely misses is target as Daniels moves out of the way at the last split second........ Daniels then clocks Devine with a fore-arm smash, RAISE THE STAKES (Cradle Piledriver) !!! One...... Two....... Three !! Dean Daniels scores a big victory over Darryl Devine, as Devine's desire to carry out revenge on his tag partner for what happened at Anniversario, cost his team the victory, whilst Daniels and Phoenix were able to work suprisingly well together given their history with each other. Tag Team main events tend to be a bit of a risk, and though this didn't match our best singles contests, it was still a very good match that played up the tension between all four men and also provided solid to often great action throughout. The closing five minutes of the match had the crowd on their feet. This was set up as a bit of 'placeholder' show and in the end it got a 'placeholder' show type of grade. We are actually at the popularity level in Puerto Rico, where a show of this sort of quality doesn't really forward us in terms of popularity but at least it didn't lose us any either.

October in Review Amigo O Enemigo was the epitome of a placeholder show, it wasn't that bad but it wasn't great either and it came at the wrong time, as both MAW and CZCW put on their strongest shows in months. It was particularly frustrating to see J.D Morgan help MAW to what was perhaps their best show ever. Financially though it was another strong month as we made around another $15,0000 by putting on just the one show. Next month we will be looking to put on two shows, with one of them being our first non Puerto Rican show in months. I am fully expecting to take a hit in the finances next month but it's a risk we need to take if we want to continue to grow as a promotion. There was great news on the contract front as we secured Undisputed Champion Ultimate Phoenix to a contract extension and we also secured Fox Mask to a new contract. _____________________________________________________________ Rival Promotion Watch CZCW put on a strong show this month with Hardcore Halloween (B-), the main reason for this was a strong defence (B) of the Coastal Zone Championship from Ultimate Phoenix against Andre Jones, that they wisely put as the main event this time and not some random tag match as they seem to have a habit of doing. Remmy Skye also had a solid (C+) defence of the Xtreme title against Brendan Idol, and Joey Poison defeated Trent Shaffer in a mid-card match that almost stole the show (B-) MAW put on an amazingly strong show with Where It All Begins (Rated B !), a very solid undercard with nothing dropping into the D Range was capped off by a strong semi main event that saw J.D Morgan defeat Billy Russell and an equally strong main event that saw Mean Jean Cattley retained the Mid Atlantic title against Darryl Devine (both rated B). NYCW Last gasp event however was a poor one (D+), a lot of which may have been to do with a poor defence of the Empire Title from Steve Flash against Andre Jones (D+). Match of the night saw Rick Sanders defeat Snow Fox but it came in the middle of the show (C+). Both MAW and CZCW really upped this game this month, in a month that we put on a relatively poor show by our standards, so it was a relief to see NYCW put on a poorer show than ourselves. We need to come back strong next month, as it looks like CZCW have got themselves back on track, MAW have really raised their game and NYCW are the sort of promotion that can get things right on their day. UEW extend the contracts of Jay Heartbreak (Byron), Kalu Owusu and referee Gary Garrett. USPW extend the contracts of Damian 'The Natural' Carvill, Harry Allen, Ekuma, The Amazing Winkie (Roger Dodger) and announcer Cliff Anderson. Worker Releases/Departures Jimmy Stratosphere is not offered a contract extension by APW. BSC were rocked by the departure of roster mainstay Britney Hollywood, after the failed to come on agreement on a new contract. Nate Johnson has taken the decision to leave CZCW. Carl Edwards is released by MOSC. Jared Johnson has left NYCW, stating that he wishes to concentrate on his work with FCW and 4C where he has received more focused pushes. Lion Heart is released by RIPW. Nadia Snow leaves USPW, feeling that there was no point in continuing on in a women's division that doesn't have a title to fight over. Insane Machine leaves WLW. Apparently he had become dissatisifed with his position in the hugely popular Lucharesu promotion and is perhaps the first sign that WLW's roster has become a bit bloated. Injuries GCG have suffered yet another injury blow with Shingen Miyazaki sustaining Spinal Disalignment and injury that will keep him on the shelf for two months but is also the sort of injury that could also have nagging long term effects. Puro Journeyman Matsudaira Morioka has sustained a percussive Ankle Stretch and will be out of action for around a month. Retirements The wrestling business and in particular NOTBPW were rocked by the announcement by Sean McFly that he has taken the decision to retire from in-ring competition. McFly who is currently suffering from a shattered knee has said that he feels he won't be able to come back and put on the quality of wrestling that the fans expect of him and after some soul searching he has taken the tough decision to call time on his active wrestling career. Seen by many as the best wrestler of his generation, McFly originally built his reputation with the then dominant SWF, where he became their youngest ever World Champion at the Age of 21 in 1995. He won the title again in 1998 but shocked the wrestling world when he left the promotion to join NOTBPW in 2000. This of course was not for purely professional reasons as he was in a relationship with future wife to be Victoria Stone, the daughter of NOTBPW owner Dan Stone. Despite the 'non wrestling' reasons for the (at the time) shock switch, NOTBPW turned out to be a good fit for McFly as he was able to put on the sort of pure wrestling clinics he was perhaps held back from doing with the 'Sports Entertainment' focused SWF. McFly then went on to win the NOTBPW Canadian title four times, though the last of his reigns was back in 2007, prior to his recent injury problems. Following his annoucement to retire from the ring, Sean McFly was deservedly, though many will say sadly prematurely inducted into the Hall of Immortals. Puro legend Yoshinaka Toshusai announced his retirement from the wrestling business. Initially seen as one of the crown jewels of GCG he won their World Title in 1976, but rocked GCG in 1980 when he jumped ship to rivals BHOTWG, a move many felt helped shift the balance of power in Japan to BHOTWG. His career continued to reach new heights in BHOTWG where he twice won their world title until he retired from active in-ring competion in 1998 at the Age of 52. Toshusai then went on to build a reputation as one of the most respected Road Agents in the business, firstly with BHOTWG, then with the break-away INSPIRE group and most recently with the rapidly popular WLW promotion. Title Changes Hiroaki Nakasawa won the Burning World Championship from Kinnojo Horri to win the belt for a second time, five years after his first reign with the title. Meanwhile the Masked Patriot lost the Openweight Title to Red Panther, and then immediately won the belt back in a re-match to become a three time champion and Black Cobra (Duane Stone) won the Junior Title from The Awesome Kiyaru in what was an excellent match to become a two time champion, in a busy month of title changes for BHOTWG. Matthew Keith regained the GCG World Heavyweight Championship from Jimmy Cox to become a three time champion. The Gaijin pair have dominated GCG over the past two years, switching the belt between themselves four times since the end of Keith's first reign with the belt in June 2010. Raul Hughes won the King of Fighters belt in INSPIRE to become a two time champion. Genio Verde defeated Magnifico for the vacant MHW Campeon de Mundo title and Phoenix III defeated Angel De Mexico for the Nacional belt. Shady K teamed up with Warlord Power to defeat Madman Boone and Henry Lee for the (yet again) vacant MAW Tag Team Titles. The Bandit (Randall Hopkirk) defeated Tag Partner Giant Redwood to become the USPW World Champion and Ekuma defeated Pete the Hillbilly to become a two time champion of the largely worthless Interncontinental title. Antonio Maxi Marquez became the WLW Universal Champion for the first time to end KOKI Ishibashi's relatively disappointing run with the belt. KOKI's run with the title is one of only a few mis-steps WLW have made in recent years. The Great Hisato defeated Americana to become a two time Show Stealer champion and Tanyu Toshusai won the Tap Out Title for the first time. The Tap Out has pretty much become the equivalent of BHOTWG's Openweight belt in recent years, with the emphasis on 'young lions' competing for the title.

Delorean Driver.com Your Top Wrestling News Site Notes From A Small Island: FCW return to action at the Ricardo Montenez Ballrom in San Juan on Tuesday November 8th, when they present Calor Enjaulado. The show will be headlined by not just one, but two Cage Matches ! featuring the cream of the FCW crop. In the main event the Phoenix rivarly comes to a head as Ultimate Phoenix puts the Undisputed Championship on the line against his arch-nemesis and 'brother' Phoenix Negra, whilst in the semi main event Dean Daniels looks to get revenge on the man who stole away his manager, the leader of the Devine Right faction Darryl Devine. Both matches will take place under 'modern' Cage Match rules, where Pinfalls, submissions or escaping the cage can decide the winner. One man in Devine Right who does hold FCW gold is Bulldozer Brandon Smith, and he will be putting the People's Championship on the line against Primus. The last time these two 'bulls' met was back in August in a Rey De Reyes qualifier. On that day BBS came out on top, so Primus will not only be looking to end the Bulldozer's title reign, he will also be looking to avenge that loss. The Tag Titles will also be on the line as Animal Magic defend against the UNITY duo of Nicky R!ot and Harry Allen. The high flying tag champions have consistently had an edge over their opponents in previous contests between the two teams, but R!ot and Allen have started to show a more ruthless streak of late and Animal Magic could well be facing a 'different' team to the one they had met previously. There will also be more Tag Team action as the Heat Magnets looking to prove their worth as part of the Devine Right stable go up against the increasingly unstable pairing of Totally Einstein of Mainstream Hernandez and Bradford Peverall. Earlier in the year Hernandez and Peverall looked to have patched things up, but subsequent 'friendly fire incident'' in People's Titles matches featuring the pair has lead to them once again distrusting one another. Can they get back on the same page to earn themselves a shot at the Tag Titles or will they provide the Heat Magnets the perfect opportunity to get themselves back in Title contention ? Da Power is desperate to get himself back in to Undisputed Title contention and despite a recent winning streak, his protestations have fallen on deaf ears and he will be looking to take his frustations out on his opponent Angel De Mexico. However Angel De Mexico is an experienced and talented performer with something to prove. Results may have gone against the patriotic masked man of late but he is capable of pulling out the upset and putting the title hopes of Da Power right back to square one. Rounding out the show there will be a 4CS featuring W.O.V Gold's Big Eazy, M.C Speed of the original W.O.V, Rudy Velasquez and the impressive youngster K.C Glenn....the prize on offer for the winner is a shot at the People's Championship. On the pre-show Mr Electricity takes on Island Boy Apollo and Capitao Brasil Jr teams up with El Mitico Jr to take on Joe Benning & Leftie Wilkes. He's shown no real signs of improvement as a wrestler, and as pure job fodder both Benning & Wilkes work for less money. Mr Electricity busted out a new-finisher to pick up the victory, a Forward Russian Leg-sweep he has christenend Move #54 in tribute of course to his all time favourite Night Club. That was until Velasquez turned on Eazy by stunning the W.O.V Gold man with the Street Cutter. Thankfully for Eazy K.C Glenn dived in to make the save and rather inevitably things began to 'break down' from there with the pace picking up and Brett Graveson struggling to keep control. The finishing sequence saw M.C Speed have K.C Glenn in the Heel Hook, only for Big Eazy to clobber him from behind and then take the W.O.V Original down with the Powerline only for Rudy Velasquez to take him down with a missile drop-kick. Velasquez then delivered a double stomp to Eazy's chest and raced up the turnbuckle to set up for the Latino Press.....but K.C Glenn suddenly got up onto the apron and stunned the one time King of the Streets member with a leaping Enziguri, before climbing the turnbuckle and driving Velasquez down to the mat with a Louisiana Spiral from the top rope to pick up the 'surprise' victory. Solid opening match, nothing really more to say about it other than that. That lead to Power taking a powder and Angel falling for the bait by taking a risk and ultimately crashing and burning. Power then dominated/toyed with Angel for a bit, but took too long in trying to put the patriotic masked man away, who reversed a Power Bomb attempt into a Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors, which he promptly transitioned into the Mexican Death Arm Bar. Thankfully for Power Carl Batch was there to place his foot on the ropes. Angel then argued with Graveson, allowing Power to recover, who then tried to take him by surprise with a San Juan Rush but Angel was able to duck under the move and then nail Power with a drop-kick, that sent the W.O.V Gold man tumbling out of the ring, before Angel launched himself off the turnbuckle with a moonsault taking out Power, Angel then managed to pitch Power back into the ring and set up for the Acapulco Twist only for Carl Batch to trip him up, that gave Power enough time to recover and reel off the four moves of doom to the expected victory. This match had a real seen it done it, feel to it. It wasn't that it was bad, but they didn't really come up with anything new added to the fact that both of them have slipped down the FCW pecking order over the past year with Angel pretty much slipping back into the mid-card and Power pretty much out of the Undisputed Title picture all year. Fox Mask kicked out of the subsequent pin attempt but with not one to tag out to for the time being he found himself isolated in the wrong part of town. The next few minutes saw Fox Mask play 'Spencer Marks' with UNITY heeling it up by taunting Masked Cougar to come into the ring, which only led to Cougar keeping Brett Graveson occupied as the UNITY pair got in more cheap shots. This of course was resulting in the initially split crowd, beginning to unify in support for Animal Magic. It looked all over for Fox Mask when Nicky R!ot had him set up for the 'Charles Peterson' but the diminuitive high flier managed to slip out and then counter with a standing Fox Flip Off DDT. Fox Mask then knocked Harry Allen off the apron, before slumping to the canvas to crawl across and attempt to get the tag into Masked Cougar. However Nicky R!ot managed to pull Fox Mask back and take him over with a belly to back suplex but Fox Mask managed to land on his feet and then dive through the legs of R!ot to get the hot tag into Cougar. Cougar took R!ot down with a springboard Cougar Pounce, R!ot just about able to save himself from being pinned by rolling out of the ring. Harry Allen then came charging at Cougar, but Cougar was able to side step out of the way and then tag Allen with an enziguri, before rolling the former TCW star up with a La Magistral Cradle. Allen managed to kick out, and as they got back to their feet he sneaked in a low blow much to the disdain of the crowd. Allen then planted Cougar into the mat with a rolling cutter, before heading up top, but Fox Mask came rushing out of the corner and sent Allen crashing back into the ring with a hurrucanrana, before going for the pin. However he was not the legal man and he went to drag Cougar over to his corner to get the tag in, only for Nicky R!ot to get back into the ring and clobber Cougar from behind. R!ot then whipped Cougar into the ropes and set up for the Sub Pop Bop but Cougar ducked under and then levelled R!ot with the COUGAR POUNCE !! R!ot however was not the legal man, and Allen had now recovered to plant Cougar into the mat with the ROCKER DROPPER (Overdrive)...... One..... Two...... Thr........ Fox Mask made the save with the FOX HUNTER !! but still needed to be tagged in to make the pin....... Fox Mask dragged Cougar over and got the pin before making the cover........ One...... Two...... Allen was able to kick out, but Fox Mask was in control and he set Allen up for the FOX FLIP OFF DDT ! Fox Mask nailed it, as he sent Allen crashing backwards. But Brett Graveson was distracted as Fox Mask was making the cover by a chair brandishing Nicky R!ot.....Cougar then came rushing out to knock R!ot off the apron, but admidst the chaos Harry Allen had recovered......Allen then caught Fox Mask with a low blow and rolled the diminutive masked man up..... One..... Two...... Three !!! UNITY had become the Tag Team Champions for a third time and had finally got one over on Animal Magic but did so by using tactics not looked favourably upon by the fans. This was up to the usual standard of Tag Team wrestling in FCW, in that it was reasonably good but the fans are just more interested in singles matches. It probably doesn't help though that no team has had a really solid run with the belts and it looked like Animal Magic might just be that team but it wasn't to be*. Result: UNITY defeated Animal Magic in 12:06 when Harry Allen defeated Fox Mask by pinfall. I needed to find an angle however for the title switch and UNITY turning to heel tactics to defeat their perennial bogey team seemed like the perfect fit for an angle. As expected these two charged at each other like a couple of bulls butting heads at the beginning. They exchanged chops and strikes and tried to barge each other off their feet but neither one gave an inch. Eventually BBS was able to get an advantage by going to the heel playbook with a poke to the eye, before raining in a series of unanswered fore-arm smashes to set up a German Suplex but Primus just shook it off and came back with a explosive clothesline that dropped the Bulldozer right on his back. BBS kicked out of the subsequent cover, but Primus remained in control lifting the Devine Right man up to his feet, before whipping BBS into the corner, and following in with a shoulder block to the mid-section. Primus then took a winded BBS over with a Belly to Belly Suplex. That lead to another two count, but before Primus could keep the pressure up BBS went out for a powder. Primus however went in pursuit, only for Lisa Bowen to strategically place herself in the way, buying the Bulldozer some time to take even more a of a breather and then sneak in a cheap shot. BBS then sent Primus into the ring-steps, before rolling into the ring to break up the count. The Devine Right man then continued his assault on Primus outside the ring, before lifting the now dazed W.O.V original up to a vertical base and applying a front-facelock for a suplex but Primus held firm and reversed into a snap suplex of his own. Both men were then left laying on their backs as Brett Graveson continued to count them out of the ring........... Just when it looked like the match might end as a double count out, they both managed to get back into the ring.....after a breath tense staredown they charged in at one another once again......BBS levelled Primus with a Lariat, but the W.O.V original once again shook it off and came right back with a shoulder block into the mid-section......Primus then scooped a winded BBS up and planted the Devine Right Enforcer onto the mat with the POWER PLANT..... One...... Two...... Thr....... BBS barely got his shoulder up just in time. Unable to lifted BBS up to a vertical base, Primus then headed up top, perching himself on the top turnbuckle as he waited for BBS to stagger back to his feet. Primus then came off with a flying clothesline but BBS caught him in mid move using the momentum to dumped Primus with a BACK DROP DRIVER !! One........ Two....... Thr........ Primus kicked out and then begged BBS to give him his 'best shot' before coming back with a flurry of strikes, but the flurry was cut short with a Lariat from the Bulldozer, who then picked up a dazed Primus and dumped the young powerhouse with another Back Drop Driver to put the seal on a hard fought victory. They did what was set out of them to do, and that was to put on hard hitting match that would put over the toughness of both the champion and the challenger. However much of our crowd, thought it was a couple of big guys 'no selling' everything, instead of two competitors displaying 'Fighting Spirit'. After going through the motions at the beginning of the match, Hernandez found himself isolated in the Heat Magnets corner. However a miscommunication between the Magnets brought Hernandez some time to get the tag into Bradford Peverall. But the Mainstreamer, turned back refusing to tag into Peverall and ‘take on’ the Heat Magnets himself much to the bemusement of his tag partner and Sara Silver. Hernandez was pretty successful though levelling ADB with a roundhouse kick, then planting Matt Hocking with the PONTIAC TO HOME (swinging reverse STO). But as he made the cover, Lisa Bowen got up on the apron to distract referee Brett Graveson. That lured over Sara Silver who engaged in an argument with Bowen, with Peverall pulling Silver away. But that left Hernandez isolated again by the Heat Magnets. The Devine Right duo then worked over the Mainstreamer in their corner, before driving Hernandez into the mat with the 2 HOT 2 HANDLE (double lifting DDT), but Peverall dove in to make the save, buying his partner time to recover but Hernandez was still in trouble and ADB went up for the Superstar Splash. But the Mainstreamer was able to roll out of the way and then nail Matt Hocking with a super kick, before stumbling back where Peverall took matters into his own hands and got the blind tag. Peverall then took down the Heat Magnets with a stereo version of his Rapid Eye Movement sequence, finishing off Hocking with a discus clothesline, then levelling ADB with a ROCK HARD UPPERCUT. That looked to have the match won for the Totally Einstein but Hocking, was able to dive across and make the save. Hocking then planted Peverall into the mat with the SHOCK DROP II. Peverall however kicked out and then managed to level Hocking with one of his trademark European Uppercuts to buy himself some time and crawl over to his corner. But Hernandez looked disinterested in making the tag and Hocking was able to drag Peverall back to the middle of the ring, but Peverall managed to fend Hocking off with another European Uppercut, and when he stumbled back….this time the Mainstreamer with Sara Silver begging him to do so, made the tag. The Mainstreamer then nailed Hocking with a superkick, before knocking ADB off the apron. Hocking then got back up and stumbled right into the PONTIAC TO HOME, to pick up the victory for Totally Einstein….despite the fact they were not on the same page at all throughout the match. This was a solid storyline driven tag match, with them teasing the possible ‘turn’ of Mainstream Hernandez throughout the match. Saying that if the trigger was pulled two turns in the same show would have been overkill. Result: Totally Einstein defeated Heat Magnets in 8:23 when Mainstream Hernandez defeated Matt Hocking by pinfall. Rating: D+ ______________________________________________________ Dean Daniels is sitting in his dressing room, taping up his wrists as he gets ready for his match with Darryl Devine, whilst the ring-crew work tirelessly to set up the cage for the double main event. Darryl Devine then came out and took a slow walk to the cage, he was trying to give off an air of arrogance but it was clear that Devine did not want to step into the steel structure with a vengeful Dean Daniels. Devine insisted that Daniels backed off as he climbed up the ring-steps and through the door. With both of them in the cage, the door locked shut and the tension could be felt throughout the arena as they stared each other down. As soon as the bell rang, Daniels went charging in at Darryl Devine, who wasn’t quite ready for the on-coming former People’s champion. Daniels laid in a series of fore-arms on Devine, before forcefully whipping the Devine Right leader into the ring-ropes with, Devine then stumbled back forward and walked right into a roaring elbow from Daniels, who then lifted up a dazed Devine by the hair, with the intention to send Devine into the steel mesh of the cage walls. But Devine managed to block the attempt and fought back with a series of elbows to the side of the head, before going for a Side Russian Leg-sweep but Daniels was able to block that and then quickly sent Devine face first into the cage…..Devine bounced back off the cage and Daniels used the momentum to dump Devine with a belly to back suplex….. One….. Two….. Devine kicked out and then tried to beg off but he had nowhere to go and Daniels was in complete control. Daniels then took Devine round the ring, sending the arrogant former SWF talent into each side of the cage…but when they got to the final side of the cage Devine was able to block and then sneaked in a back-heel kick to the lower regions of Daniels. That managed to turn the tide for Devine, who immediately took advantage by sending Daniels into the cage. Daniels came charging back though, only for Devine to take him down with a Drop Toe Hold. Devine then put the boots to Daniels, putting the bad mouth on the former People’s champ at the same time. Devine then taunted Daniels to get up, only for Daniels to fire right back, but as Daniels went for a lariat….Devine was able to duck under and use the momentum of an on charging Daniels to send the ‘wrestling machine’ face first into the steel mesh with a leg-sweep. Devine then immediately took advantage by spiking a dazed Daniels into the canvas with a DDT. Seeing that Daniels was now firmly planted to the mat, Devine decided to start climbing the cage walls and make for an escape but a DDT wouldn’t be nearly enough to keep Daniels down, and the former Peoples champ went racing up the cage, to pull Devine down into an Atomic Drop. Daniels then took Devine over head with a release belly to belly suplex, the momentum of which sent Devine into the opposite side of the cage…..Devine then picked himself up of the canvas, only for Daniels to level him with a vicious lariat and then immediately go for the cover. One……. Two….. Thr….. Somehow Devine managed to kick out, but he wasn’t out of trouble just yet….as Daniels trapped the arms and started to unleash the flurry of knee strikes that had claimed so many victims over the past few years in FCW, but Devine to his credit held firm and then went into survival mode by creating an opening for himself by going to the eyes. That was then followed by a kick to the mid-section and then a DEVINE DREAM DROP ! seemingly out of nowhere. But Devine was too worn down to make the cover and simply slumped back onto the canvas. Devine however was able to pick himself off the mat first and immediately looked to escape through the cage door that was now open, but as he began to crawl out of the cage…Daniels was back up to pull the Devine Right leader back. Daniels had a hold of Devine’s leg and applied an ankle lock, falling back to grapevine the leg and apply more pressure…… But Devine was able to hold out and eventually made it to the ring-ropes to force the rope break. Daniels then tried to retain the advantage on the rope-break but Devine went to the eyes once again and then sent Daniels crashing into the side of the cash with a side russian leg-sweep. Devine then backed away, before charging back in with a standing drop-kick. that sent Daniels crashing against the Cage wall once again. Daniels then stumbled back off the cage and into the clutches of Devine who locked on his sleeper variation the DEVINE DREAMS ! Daniels began to fade and Brett Graveson went over to check on his condition....... Daniels arms went down...... Graveson lifted the arm again........ Daniels arms went down again......... Graveson with one more look........ Daniels wasn't about to give this one up and began to fight his way out of the hold, he then created some separation with some elbow shots to the gut and was then able to dump Devine with a release German suplex after a standing switch. Devine then staggered back to his feet and was levelled with a stiff fore-arm, before Daniels set up for the Raise The Stakes but Devine managed to slip out and then stun Daniels with a kneeling jawbreaker. Devine then started to climb up the turnbuckle, but when he saw Daniels get up he dived off the top-rope and planted Daniels back onto the canvas with a blockbuster. With Daniels planted to the mat Devine once again looked to climb out of the cage, but just as it looked like he might escape....Daniels was back to his feet, pulling Devine down, however Devine managed to hold on and caused Daniels to drop to the mat again by repeateadly sending Daniels face first into the cage. But Daniels wasn't going to give up, and he sprung right back to his feet to race up the cage and bring both of them crashing back in with a release belly to back superplex. As they both staggered to their feet it was Daniels who was able to take control, levelling Devine with a roaring elbow, then reeling off a Tri-Fecta of snap suplexes. Daniels then lifted Devine up onto his shoulders into a crucifix before sending Devine crashing against the cage with the HUMAN ROULETTE (Spinning Crucifix Toss). Daniels then scooped up a dazed Devine, and set up for the RAISE THE STAKES (Cradle Piledriver), this time he nailed it, spiking Devine into the mat..... One...... Two...... Thr....... Devine still had just about enough ring awareness to reach out a hand and grab the bottom rope, had Daniels made the pin a few inches further away from the ring-ropes then this match would have been over. Daniels then tried to lift Devine back up, but the Devine Right leader was limp, knowing that Lisa Bowen and the rest of Devine Right would be hanging round the cage door, Dean Daniels began to climb the cage....... But Devine was playing possum and he started to climb the cage, before sending Daniels crashing back down to the mat with a Side Russian leg-sweep, then as they got up it was Devine who managed to seize the advantage by nailing Daniels with the Devine Intervention (Springboard Back Elbow), that set up the DEVINEPLEX ( Northern Lights Suplex)..... One........ Two....... Daniels kicked out but remained planted to the mat and Devine headed up top, but he stopped a the top turnbuckle and then launched himself off with the DFA flying elbow drop....... But the 2011 Rey De Reyes crashed and burned as Daniels rolled out of the way at the last split second. Daniels then dumped Devine with a release German suplex and began to climb the cage. But as he did, Jared Johnson of Devine Right began to climb up the opposite side of the cage. Johnson then kicked against the cage, causing Daniels to lose his balance and then go crashing back down to the mat. At this point Devine had begun to crawl over towards the door........ Daniels then crawled over catching up with Devine, but just as it looked like Daniels might be able to step over the still dazed Devine the door was slammed in his face by Lisa Bowen....causing Daniels to stumble backwards, giving Devine just enough time to literally fall out of the door and steal the victory ! This was a really good Cage match, with Daniels dominating much of the match but Devine pulling out the 'classic' chicken-sh!t heel escape victory and still managing to find a way for the 'numbers game' to work in his favour despite the stipulations of the match. Negra then tried to send Phoenix into the outside of the cage, only for Phoenix to put the brakes on, and comes back with a kick combination that had Negra dazed enough for Phoenix to come charging in and nail Negra against the cage wall with a leaping fore-arm smash. Phoenix then rolled Negra into the ring and the bell rung to get the match officially under-way. The popular champion then unleased another kick combination on Negra, finishing off with a leg-sweep and the busting out a standing moonsault. That earned Phoenix an early two count, who then lifted Negra back up to his feet and set up for an Elemental Suplex, but Negra managed to work his way out and force a standing switch, where he then drop kicked Phoenix in the back. Negra then came charging in with a flying knee strike that sent Phoenix crashing against the side of the cage. Phoenix then stumbled forward into a jumping roundhouse kick from Negra, who then unleased a vicious combination of kicks and strikes as Phoenix was pressed against the cage. Negra then applied a front facelock and drilled Phoenix into the mat with a brainbuster....... One...... Two...... Phoenix kicked out, but Negra retained control and lifted Phoenix up for another brainbuster, but the Undisputed champ managed to kick himself free, before stunning Negra with an Enziguri. Phoenix then snapped off a head-scissors take down only for Negra to roll through the subsequent pin attempt into the LAST CHANCERY !! But Phoenix managed to block Negra from getting the hold fully synched in, and he was able to apply a front facelock of his own, where this time he drilled Negra into the mat with a brainbuster ! Phoenix then staggered back to his feet and seeing that Negra was down began to climb the cage, but Negra suddenly lept back into life to run up the cage and nail Phoenix with a springboard Enziguri. Phoenix managed to land back on his feet but was nailed with a standing drop-kick from Negra that sent him stumbling into the corner, that led to Negra following with another drop-kick that saw the champion slump to a seated position. Negra had Phoenix just where he wanted him, as he dished out the punishment with a face-wash, before going aross to the opposite turnbuckle, where he then launched himself at Phoenix with a coast to coast drop-kick !! Negra then pulled a dazed Phoenix out of the corner and began to climb up to the top, but just as it looked like he might just escape the cage, he suddenly turned back with a sadistic glint in his eye. This wasn't about escaping the cage for Negra, he wanted to destroy Phoenix once anf for all. With Phoenix still down......Negra taunted his 'brother' to get up, before tagging the champion with another series of kicks. Negra then set Phoenix up for the Certain Death (vertebreaker)....... But Phoenix was playing possum and he suddenly rolled Negra up into a small package.....Negra then tried to reverse the small package but Phoenix was step ahead as he suddenly had Negra looked in an Elemental Clutch (Koji Clutch)........ Negra however managed to work his way out of the submission by rolling through and then grabbing the ring-ropes to force the rope-break. Negra then tried to get in a cheap shot as the rope-break was made but Phoenix managed to avoid the in-coming fore-arm, before winding Negra with back heel kick into the mid-section. Phoenix then planted Negra onto the canvas with a rollling cutter, before heading up top.......... Negra then got back to his feet but Phoenix was a step ahead, and launched himself off the top to spike his nemesis into the mat with a Tornado DDT. One...... Two....... Negra kicked out but then staggered right into a FLAMING DRIVER !! One........ Two....... Thr........ Negra just about managed to get a shoulder up just in time. Seeing that he was planted to the mat Phoenix then began to climb the cage.......but just as Negra did earlier he suddenly had second thoughts about climbing out of the cage and set up for a Phoenix Firebird Splash but as he launched himself off Negra moved out of the way....... Phoenix however managed to land on his feet and then sprung off the cage with a springboard roundhouse kick but Negra managed to duck under and instead was able to nail Phoenix with a drop-kick that sent the champion crashing into the cage. Negra then took Phoenix down with a leg-sweep , before stomping away on Phoenix......Negra then lifted the champion up and delivered another brainbuster. That earned Negra a two count, who then dragged Phoenix nearer to the turnbuckle, as he looked to set things up for the Phoenix Firebird Splash. But as he steadied himself Phoenix was able to get back up and prevent Negra form executing the graceful high flying manouevre that had brought many victories for both himself and his nemesis. The two bitter rivals then duked it out on the top turnbuckle, where Phoenix seemed to gain back the advantage and set up for a 'rana off the top rope but Negra manages to block the attempt and reversed into a top-rope POWERBOMB !! One......... Two......... Phoenix kicked out emphatically, as he suddenly seemed to find an extra dose of energy from no where, before unleashing a flurry of kicks on Phoenix......Phoenix then delivered a kick to the mid-sectiona and set up for the Flaming Driver, but Negra managed to block.....and then sneak in a low blow that left Phoenix open for the CERTAIN DEATH (Vertebreaker).....Negra dropped Phoenix right on the back of his neck, surely it had to be all over........ One........ Two........ Thr...... NO ! It must have been about three and nine tenths. The crowd are going nuts at this stage, as they can't believe that Phoenix just kicked out of the Certain Death and neither can Negra. Negra then heads over to the turnbuckle and sets up for the Phoenix Firebird Splash....... Negra soars off the top rope....... But Phoenix gets the knees up ! Both of them stagger back to their feet but the champion is able to regain the advantage with a Dragon screw leg whip before heading for the turnbuckle himself......... Negra is back up though and sends Phoenix crashing back into the ring with a hurrucanrana....they roll through....Negra has a front facelock......LAST CHANCERY !!! Phoenix refuses to give in though.....knee strikes......but Phoenix still holds firm.....so Negra changes plan and sets up for the Certain Death but Phoenix has the move scouted....and counters into an Elemental Suplex !! Negra stumbles back to his feet, and right into a spinning heel kick into the mid-section.......FLAMING DRIVER !! But Phoenix does not make the cover and instead decides to climb up top.......PHOENIX FIREBIRD SPLASH !! One....... Two....... Thr......... Negra kicks out !!! But Phoenix isn't done, he lifts Negra to his feet and then sets up for Negra's own CERTAIN DEATH finisher !! Negra is unable to stop it and gets dropped right on his neck...... One...... Two...... Three !!! Ultimate Phoenix is still the Undisputed Champion !!! Whilst this didn't necessarily surpass the previous match, it certainly matched it and ensured that the show finished on a high note. Phoenix defeating Negra, with the Certain Death was a nice touch and though this was the sort of match that could well end the feud between the pair, Negra will live to fight another day...you'll just have to see exactly where and when Negra will try and avenge such a decisive loss to his nemesis. Agreed. And wow, Negra and Phoenix are amazingly over in PR, aren't they? Great booking to pull that off, and a great show. I'd actually suspected you were going to swerve-turn yourself as Allen/R!ot sorted out their problems, so to see a straight turn there was kinda cool. Now, ex-UNITY vs. Flash/Rainier next show? That should make for an awesome match.

He started with around an E overness in the U.S and is now is up to C popularity to Puerto Rico. Ultimate Phoenix is at B- popularity in Puerto Rico. The next few months in FCW will probably be quite turbulent with alliances breaking up and new one's forming. Most importingly there will be a strong 'face' faction forming in place of UNITY. I've got an En Viaje (On Tour) show coming up next, in the Tri-State region...as per usual no preview/predictions for that one as it's just a case of us show-casing our guys in a different region. Nothing majorly important ever happens on those shows. Main event is Negra-Flash and there will be a Six Man Tag of Devine Right (Devine, BBS, JJ) against Phoenix, Angel De Mexico and K.C Glenn. Actually I'm not sure if it's Angel or Daniels in that match...I'm not at my home computer right now so I can't check that. Flash due to his overness in the Tri-State is my default main eventer for these shows.

That then lead to Big Eazy entered the ring and creamed Primus with the chair, and then looked to do the same to Rainier, but the chair was taken out of Eazy's hands by Rudy Velasquez.......Velasquez then swung the chair and cracked it over the head of Charles Rainier !, before rolling out of the ring. R!ot tried to get a foothold back in the match but Cougar was now consistenly a step ahead. A Cougar Pounce brought Cougar very close close to victory, so the Animal Magic man decided to head up top and ready himself for the High Rise Cougar Pounce, but Harry Allen provided a distraction by coming up on the apron, Cougar managed to kick Allen off but when he launched himself off the top, R!ot had recovered and he took Cougar out of mid-air with a Sub Pop Bop. R!ot then made the academic cover, that ensured that Animal Magic would be denied an immediate re-match for the titles. This was a good match, that followed on nicely from the previous match. Devine then said that at Batalla Final he would be walking out the Undisputed Champion. Rating: C- Match #7: Devine Right (Darryl Devine, Bulldozer Brandon Smith & Jared Johnson) w/ Lisa Bowen vs Angel De Mexico, K.C Glenn & Ultimate Phoenix An action packed Six Man Tag with the momentum conistently swinging back and forth between Devine Right and the Babyface hero for the opening third of the match, until Devine Right were able to isolate the inexperienced K.C Glenn for a significant portion of the match. Glenn however managed to get the hot-tag into Ultimate Phoenix to a massive pop from the crowd. That lead to a hectic final few minutes of the match with all six competitors hitting their signature manoeuvres leading to a plethora of near-falls. The finishing sequence saw Bulldozer Brandon Smith dump Angel De Mexico with a Back-Drop Driver but he was unaware of K.C Glenn who came flying off the top to come crashing down upon BBS with the 450 Splash. Ultimate Phoenix then fended off Darryl Devine to ensure that Glenn could make the cover and earn the faces the victory and also give Glenn a psychological victory over BBS as he heads towards his shot at the People's title held by BBS at Batalla Final. Flash gets busted open when Negra rams his head into the ring-steps several times and it looked like the match would be over pretty quickly but Flash hung in there and eventually an over-pumped Negra made a mistake when he missed the Phoenix Firebird Splash. Flash then slowed the pace down and eventually got Negra into the Boston Crab. Negra survived but a bloody yet determined Flash now had the upper hand and set Negra up for the Flash Bang, Negra ducked under though and took Flash down with a spinning leg-sweep, that lead to the brainbuster/ Last Chancery Combo where Flash ended up passing out due to the blood-loss sustained earlier in the match. This was good enough for a non Puerto Rico based show main event and gave Negra a solid win over an experienced competitor to help him bounce back from his loss to Ultimate Phoenix. Result: Phoenix Negra defeated Steve Flash in 13:41 by submission. Rating: C+ Overall: C Ideally this is the sort of show we want to put on when we go outside of Puerto Rico. An under-card that was solid throughout, then a relatively strong main event that made it wortwhile for the fans to turn up to see the show. However the attendance was disappointing, considering that the last time we ran here we sold out the place and were turning fans away. Perhaps we had loss a bit of 'popularity' as we had not run a show outside of Puerto Rico for a good few months. More thoughts to be had on this issue in the month end review.
