Just curious if anyone else is as into him as much as me... or if I am alone. Koslov is pretty cool people! :)
There is definately a familiarity with him. It's like I'm watching a match from the 80's everytime I see him in the ring. Just for that alone, I like him.

I've been DVR-ing the old 80's era AWA shows on ESPN Classic -- yeah, you could swap Koslov and Soldat Ustinov and it would be about the same thing. They're starting to move him up the ranks a little bit, now instead of complete jobbers it's lower card names like Jamie Noble and Domino. I gotta wonder who his first real challenge will be and how they'll handle it.

I love Vlad. I think he's a great "change of pace" kind of guy. Doesn't fit the stereotypical WWE talent & for that reason he stands out. While they've pretty much had him destroy a bunch of no namers... It builds that mystique that he's unstoppable. It would help a little better if the people were bigger names but sooner or later I'm sure they will start sticking him into bigger matches. When they do it will be cool to see where they go with it. All in all, He's a great heel.
I wish he still loved Double Double E.
He hasn't really talked much yet... He might say that later. I honestly haven't really seen him "Act" like a heel, unless you call "No Nonscense, all bussiness" Heelish (which in WWE right now... yeah). I don't really see him becoming this huge heel though. I think that's mainly because of Foley's new appreciation for his "Style" combination (Sambu, Greco, etc.). Definately reminds me of "Old School" wrestling though. True definition of "Realistic" all over him right now. It looks like it "Hurts", lol. He's a real treat for me these days. I haven't seen much like this lately (I think Santino had something similar in OVW, but not... really). Takes my mind off the over the top comicbook types.

Agreed. Tickets go on sale for Smackdown's appearance at Scope in August today. And if I were going, I would most likely take a Kozlov sign. Maybe something like "Supporter of the Kozlov" or "Don't Kill Me, Kozlov." Love me some Vlad. Just when you think WWE wants the illusion that they are real totally and completely dead here he comes to try and give it CPR. He has just the kind of effect that's needed for WWE programming. Now if they could come just up with some characters with personality who mend the veil like he does.

Guest The Aussie
Simply put, Kozlov is a beast. I really do like the Judo (Sambo is a Russian version of Judo I believe) moves that he does and I actaully think that he could become a collosal badass.

WOW! Didn't expect the support of the big Russian! I dunno - I thought I might get pooped on for being into a guy who by E's standards would be alittle bland. He needs a mouthpiece though cause "double double E" although funny doesn't equal big gold belts. I think Estrada would do nicely!

I'm totally digging Koslov right now. As has been said, it's a change of pace, and whenever I hear his lack-of-music, I always perk up. Something about it appeals to me. It's a gimmick, different from the bad-ass loner that annoys the crap out of me in wrestling nowadays. EDIT : He needs no mouthpiece. He needs no music. He only needs to headbutt people, and do that poke-kick thing he does.
