Sasso
This may be a dumbass question, but what area of the US would Pennsylvania be considered a part of now that there's no longer a Northeast?
Dragonmack
It would be part of the Tri-State area Pennsylvania, New York & New Jersey

fastlane269
The Tri-State area is technically Connecticut, New York and New Jersey. I would include it in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Also if you remember old ECW, their shows were held in Philly and New York. Mid Atlantic is the Virginias and the Carolinas. Connecticut would be part of New England. Alec_Burkhardt
Technically, the Tri-State area can be any three states that are closely situated, as there is no offical arbitrator of such things. Growing up in southern Minnesota, the tri-state area was Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. In the game, however, it is clear that the Tri-State region refers to New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. EDIT: Here's a map someone else (and unfortunately I can't remember who) created for TEW07 that shows the various regions:

But for reference being from New York City whenever we refer to the New York Tri-State area we are talking about NY, NJ and CT.
cyberkitten01
Pennsylvania was founded by a Welshman... Just saying :p
Nutlaw
The problem is that CT was already part of New England, which is tiny enough even with it included.
shadowmaster
Well, Adam or whoever made up the areas must be from Pennsylvania then
Midnightnick
Living in New York, the definition of Tri-State alternates between NY, NJ and Conneticut, and NY, NJ and Pennslyvania. In terms of wrestling, tri-state is NY, NJ and PA.
Oregano Jensen
Growing up on Long Island, the Tri-State Area generally included Pennsylvania. I'm not sure what they call it these days -- the economy and whatnot have shifted, and Connecticut has become a lot more "New York-y" in recent years. Here's the thing, though -- even if we accept that some people's "tri-state area" includes Connecticut, we can't deny that it's always part of New England. I've never heard of anyone describe New England in a way that didn't include CT. (And Shadowmaster -- Adam's from regular England.)

And since this is a wrestling game, we are going to go by wrestling geography. Which makes me ask, why are Texas and New Mexico apart of the Mid-South. IWA:MS has never been to Texas, from what I know, and NWA: Southwest is based in Oklahoma now, but it used to be based in Dallas and hold shows throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Astil
Having lived in Connecticut for my entire 20 years, according to what I've heard (news, radio, conversations) we are Southern New England(CT, MA, RI), not tri state.
