How good do "B Shows" have to be? It seems no matter what, you'd want to put on the best show possible. So, if I put together a "B Show" (for example Sunday Night Heat), how can I get a good rating for it if none of the major stars appear? As well, what is something like Steve Austin appeared on the B show? What would happen?

A 'B' show is just like a regular TV show in all aspects other than the fact that it has no affect on the promotion's popularity, no matter what grade it gets. Therefore if you have someone like Austin appear, his segments would probably be rated more highly, as you'd expect, and thus the ratings might go up a bit, but nothing special will happen just because he's a main eventer. The only thing that makes B shows special is that they don't affect the promotion's popularity, and thus can get away with being 'bad' shows compared to your A shows. Thus, you can use less over talent without penalty to build them up and get them ready for the A show. Sort of like a wrestling Purgatory. You're not a development worker any more, but the promotion hasn't decided whether you're going to the A show or the unemployment line yet :p I generally use Development to develop skills, and then the B show to develop overness. If you WANT to use your main eventers on the B show, that's perfectly fine, there won't be any penalties or anything, but it would be a waste of a good show.

It would not be a waste, per se. Presumably, if you're using the B show to raise overness, wouldn't it be a good idea to, from time to time, bring in folks who inherently have that which you're seeking to build? Depending on product, a worker doesn't have to BEAT the more over worker. Just being in the same ring can give them a boost. So, the star of your B show going head to head with one of your lesser main eventers would fit the scheme you're using, would it not? For example, having a Randy Orton do his Legend Killer schtick on a B show road agent (a retired "legend") with the save made by a B show fixture, would be one way of producing that boost.

Yeah, the odd main eventer from time to time never hurts. I was talking more about having a 'proper' upper card, to produce a decent show rating. That would be pretty pointless. Rather than one legit main eventer being in the main event itself and beating an up-and-comer, which would be fine.

How long do you normally run your B show? (like TV Show length) Right now I have it set for an hour to get some undercard workers some time to wrestle, however, I may try to move it up to an hour and a half as it can give me some more time for the younger workers.

On the subject on B shows - are you allowed to run "jobber v jobber" matches on them without getting the road agent note about the crowd not wanting to see that? It would seem logical that this should not apply, given that B shows are about giving the lower card a chance to be seen on TV. Anyone know? Adam?

How come I cant seem to get a network to take on a B show? I've even tried negotiating with the small networks and they aren't interested in taking on a B show. I've also tried editing my popularity to A* in every region and the networks still wont have it. Any idea's how I do this?

I picked up a "B" show with C.A.N.N (Where I also air Supreme TV) and had literally no problem what so ever. The only thing that happened was I had to then go into the TV Show schedule and change it from an "A" to a "B" since for some reason my game changed it back to an "A" even though I negotiated it as a "B".
