DarkMaverick87
Hey guys. I worked on this mod back for TEW2007 but never finished it. I'm now much closer than I ever was before. Here's the storyline: Chris Benoit's death led to much controversy in the wrestling world. Congress demanded statements from all wrestling companies, Americans removed their stock held within the WWE, and TV ratings dropped drastically. Vince McMahon's company began losing more and more money, and for the love of wrestling, he had no choice but to take a lesson from history and encourage a new era of "Monday Night Wars." McMahon sold all the rights of WCW (including gimmicks and championships) to Eric Bischoff, and the same of ECW to Paul Heyman. By the higher courts, McMahon was advised to allow a 30-day trial period where every superstar on his roster was granted release from his company if they so desired to join a different promotion. The idea was that with more major league promotions available in America, audience attention would be equally divided. As a result, professional wrestlers would have a less grueling travel schedule and this notion could potentially prevent wear-and-tear, which leads to steroids use and overdosing on "uppers" medications. WWE-- Vince McMahon remains the owner of the promotion with Stephanie McMahon as head booker. The brand extension is OVER. WCW-- Hulk Hogan becomes the owner of WCW and Eric Biscoff becomes the Head Booker. ECW-- Paul Heyman's back in charge of the ECW. TNA-- Dixie Carter and Jeff Jarrett finally get their program to hit the 2-hour mark on weekly television. *****NOTE***** I'm looking to "streamline" this mod... meaning reduce the bloated worker number. If anyone could help in that department, as well as updating the moves, it'd be awesome. Let me know! THE DATA: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W9N6VS6I For pictures, make a folder called Big 4 TZ in the right directory. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=WMDPG089 Promotions: 64 Alter Egos: 216 (which include back up stories for workers who switch between the Big 4 promotions) Workers: 3,920 (but again, would like to reduce this) Moves: 3,340 (all have yet to be updated) Gimmicks: 316 Special thanks to the makers of T-Zone and 1RC as I used their mods as guidelines (and T-Zone as a base), and to Christ for his previous work on this mod.

bobinc
So is this just data for the 4 promotions listed in the first post?
DarkMaverick87
There are 64 promotions in the mod, but the only ones that have been carefully updated are WWF, WCW, ECW, TNA. That's the main focus of this mod... the other stuff is around too but it all may or may not be historically accurate... but then again, this is an alternate reality mod so I guess anything goes. mr_mitb
Is this mod fully completed?
Fleisch
Well although the mod is focused on the "big 4" I think I'll start a game as SHIMMER. Never been them before and interested to see what I can do with womens wrestling! Besides, I want to see what the AI does with the big 4 promotions. I love the 3000+ workers in it at the moment as it gives alot of choice if you start up your own promotion.
DarkMaverick87
Right now it's as fully complete as it's gonna get until some people start playing it and let me know the areas that need improvement... that's why it's still in a "beta" phase
Self
I've downloaded it, and I'll give it a look, run some shows when the mood strikes me. A little bit of feedback from my initial viewing as WWF. - The tag team choices are a bit odd. I know this is a fantasy mod, and maybe they don't fit into this timeline, but the exclusion of Miz & Morrison was a shock. - Tidy up the stables. I know it's a T-Zone thing, but having an Empty ECW originals faction in WWF gives it that 'bloated' look. - Pictures work nicely on the worker side. Downloaded the T-Zone Rebirth pic pack for everything else, and the results are hit and miss. - It runs pretty slow on this computer, but this computer sucks. A little more streamlined wouldn't hurt though. - TJ Wilson and Harry Smith have low 'Heel Performance' ratings. From what I here, they're doing really well as heels in developmental. - Would have liked a better User Character, to play as 'straight from the box' as it were. Instead of taking time to import. - I put the brand split back in. Personal preference, and once you call 3 guys up from development, WWF can handle it. I haven't ran a show yet, so I'm sure there's more quibbles I could make. All in all though it's pretty solid. EDIT: WWF having 3 development territories is a bit... 'overwhelming' for me, personally. Seeing as this is a fantasy mod, apparently based around having 4 more-or-less equal promotions, couldn't you cut it down to 1? Just a suggestion.
