SWF was the number one promotion in the world. The only Global Company, standing tall above the likes of TCW, NOTBPW, BHOTWG and PGHW! Five years ago, everything looked pretty set in stone, but since then, so much had changed. Except for here! Whilst TCW became the number one company in the world, while SWF fell down the ranks significantly and the world of Japanese Wrestling became stronger than ever, one place hadn’t really changed. And it was a place that had proved the critics wrong, and then rested on their morals. CZCW! Running for over twenty years, CZCW consistently grew during the reign of dominance that SWF had over the wrestling world. CZCW introduced the world to the likes of Troy Tornado, Chance Fortune and many other superstars that are now known around the country. If you’re in the South West, the wrestlings fans there will talk you’re head off you’re shoulders about their beloved promotion. And in Mexico, if you ask for an alternative to the Mexican Trio of promotions, CZCW will be one of the first out of their mouths. But everywhere else, CZCW was just a small Indy promotion. The company was making money, it was making a lot of money. But it wasn’t growing. It had been stuck as a Regional promotion for the last five years, despite selling out arenas. Cliff Anderson just didn’t seem to possess the vision or desire to expand. He was playing it safe, not incurring anyone’s wrath and remaining under the radar. But this is wrestling, and the business is ruthless. As I look around the changing room, these wrestlers were enjoying luxuries that a regional promotion shouldn’t be offering. Some of these guys were fresh out of training, and had the luxury of pristine changing facilities, and a state of the art gym and physio at their fingertips. They were getting paid well and knew they wouldn’t have to travel much, as CZCW only did South West and Mexico. And they’d just stay around here for a bit, before getting a call up to a bigger promotion, where they would get similar luxuries on the road. There were no 18 hour car journeys or dingy motel rooms. This was the easy beginning to an easy career for many of these youngsters. But things were going to change, because now I was the head booker. The roster wasn’t bad, but there wasn’t much of a CZCW roster anymore. Colossus was the Coastal Zone Champion. The name might not ring a bell to you if you’re outside of CZCW’s wrestling region. Colossus was better known to the rest of the world as Hell’s Bouncer. Yes, Hell’s Bouncer was CZCW Champion. On a more predictable not, Donnie J was still one of the main players on the roster and Frankie Perez had rode the wave of momentum he had been on since he joined CZCW all the way to the top of the roster. And then there was Paul Huntingdon! That was the main event, and it didn’t feel like a Coastal Zone Main event scene. As good as Hell’s Bouncer and Paul Huntingdon had become, they weren’t show stealers like Sammy Bach was, or American Elemental or technical standouts like Art Reed. And now, Cliff has finally handed me the book. He gave it up two years ago, and I applied then. But he gave it to Masked Mauler. When Masked Mauler failed, he handed it to Little Bill Lebowski. And now it was my turn………not to save a sinking ship, but get the ship moving once again. Who am I? My name is irrelevant, because I’m not the star of this story. Wednesday Week 3 2013 A New Regime takes over this week, as apparently Commissioner Bill Lebowski has been given his walking papers this week and will no longer be running the show. Who has been put in charge of the Coastal Zone? Whoever it is, they have already booked the main event for this week CZCW Live! Broadcast. He has immediately come in and given Frankie Perez what he spent the last two weeks trying to get from Bill Lebowski, an opportunity for revenge against Paul Huntingdon, who cost him the Coastal Zone Title two weeks ago at CZCW Revolution. Frankie’s been on a tear since losing his Coastal Zone Title, and now Paul Huntingdon is directly in the firing line. Also, one of Bill Lebowski’s finally acts, was to strip the on form El Mitico Jr. of his Xtreme title and book a match to find a more deserving champion. Handsome Stranger will face off against Joey Poison in the Xtreme Title match, but one has to feel that El Mitico will be watching. All this and more on CZCW Live! Grade: D+ The cameras zoom around the arena after the video package and land on the announcers table, where joining Doc Messing is a man hiding under the hood of a jacket, deliberately trying to hide his face from the world. Yet he stands up and takes a microphone, holding it up to his mouth. [CENTER][IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Focus2004/CZCW/TheGrandAvatar.jpg[/IMG][/CENTER] “Ladies and Gentleman, Cliff Anderson couldn’t be here today, so I will be replacing him on the commentary team for tonight, just like I’m replacing Little Bill Lebowski as the Commissioner of Coastal Zone Championship Wrestling.” A chant of “Who Are Ya!” echoed around the arena as the hooded figure continued. “But as for my identity, you can just call me the Grand Avatar. Because from this day forth, the focus won’t be on me, it won’t be on who’s got the power in this promotion. The focus will be on the wrestling. So let’s get this show on the road. Our first match up will name our Number One Contender for the Coastal Zone Championship, and will also include some people from my new talent initiative. So sit back, and enjoy the ride!” The fans seemed to warm up to the hooded figure as the cheered the idea of the focus being on the wrestling as the Grand Avatar sat down and the music of Donnie J kicked in. After the Pay Per View. There was a nice pop for Insane Machine on his return to the Coastal Zone, despite the Insane Machine character having always been a heel. But even the return of Insane Machine couldn’t out do the pop for Donnie J, who’s riding the biggest wave of momentum the world has ever seen in a regional promotion. And this match was to showcase Donnie J, and keep that momentum riding high as he went to work on Insane Machine and Quentin “Q-Man” Queen, who has finally managed to kill of the majority of “Queeny!” chants he got when he debuted last year. He got the opportunity to showcase his all around game, before a sick side kick from Insane Machine stopped him in his tracks. And for awhile, it looked like Insane Machine could take it, before the Death on Miami Beach got Donnie the pinfall.[/CENTER] Result: Donnie J defeated Insane Machine and Quentin Queen in 7:52 when Donnie J defeated Insane Machine by pinfall with a Death On Miami Beach. Grade D+ Donnie J holds his hands up in victory as he picks himself up off the mat. The Grand Avatar and Doc Messing emphasize the fact that this means Donnie J has a shot at CZCW: Vendetta against Colossus. Grade: C- Donnie J gets a microphone from the stage hands and waits for the crowd to stop cheering him. “Now, ask Colossus if he saw that, if he saw Donnie J take one step closer to being a five time Coastal Zone Champion. But one, I’m not sure if he can actually comprehend complex words and two, he’s kissing the feet of Alicia Strong over in USPW. But when you get back Colossus, I’ll be waiting, and I’ll put you’re reign in the history books, and the Coastal Zone can try and forget the day a clumsy mammoth won the Coastal Zone title, thanks to outside interference. Because that’s the difference between you and me Colossus! And the match royally sucked, because nobody told Mr. Match maker that Fox Mask was injured, his character is getting as old as Donnie J’s and he doesn’t have the popularity or momentum for it not to matter and Fox Mask didn’t click with the new signing Acid II. Fox Mask ended it rather quickly, which the fans and the new head booker were probably thankful for, with a Fox Hunter.[/CENTER] Result: Fox Mask defeated Acid II in 4:36 by pinfall with a Fox Hunter. Grade E+ The announcers tell the crowd watching at home, as a graphic appears for the fans in attendance that the Specialists of Canadian Golden Combat were coming to CZCW, and gunning for the Tag Team Titles. Not necessarily against Handsome Stranger, but about El Mitico being stripped of the Xtreme Title last week by Little Bill Lebowski, who’s the only man who knew were that storyline was going. On an interesting note, El Mitico has only been defeated once in singles competition by Jim Force on his debut. Since then he’s only lost in tag team matches, and the CZCW faithful have taken to him. Handsome Stranger soon got the attention back to himself as he started taunting the fans, before he was cut off by Joey Poison. The match was a bit of a let down considering Joey Poison was involved, but the guys aren’t over here in the South East. Joey Poison took it to Handsome Stranger from the offset, clearly determined to take advantage of this opportunity. But Handsome Stranger still somehow managed to pick up the victory with a La Gota to become the new Xtreme Champion.[/CENTER] Result: Handsome Stranger defeated Joey Poison in 7:58 by pinfall with a La Gota. Handsome Stranger wins the Coastal Zone Xtreme title. Doc Messing points out that this could be a warning to The Handsome Stranger, that El Mitico hadn’t forgotten about his title. So, it was a predictable match which was put together predictably, and put over The Specialists. It didn’t help that Bradley Blaze is rusty from only working independent shows and Justin Sensitive’s gimmick not going over very well.[/CENTER] Result: The Specialists defeated Bradley Blaze and Justin Sensitive in 3:46 when Bobby Thomas defeated Bradley Blaze by pinfall with a Specialist Touch. Haley asks the question everyone has wondered and which Paul Huntingdon hasn’t answered yet, why did he cost Frankie Perez the title. “Well, contrary to popular belief, it’s not because I failed twice to take the title from him. It’s simple, I cost him the title because it was a good investment, that would further my career. Frankie Perez is the poster child of CZCW and these ignorant fans love him, despite the fact he isn’t as good as me and doesn’t make as much money as I do. I needed to show that the lower classes, like Perez, are below me. I’m better than Perez, and now he’s not got his title to defend against other contenders, he can focus all that hatred towards me, just so he fails and I finally prove what I’ve always been saying. That I’m a Higher Class than the entire CZCW roster!” Grade C- [CENTER][IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Focus2004/CZCW/FrankiePerez.jpg[/IMG]vs.[IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Focus2004/CZCW/Aristocrat.jpg[/IMG] Main Event Frankie Perez vs. Paul Huntingdon Well at least I know why this was a regular match up during both The Masked Mauler’s and Little Bill’s runs here. These two delivered a match that the fans got into, even in a territory that neither is very well known in. Frankie Perez came out to the biggest pop of the night, as his reputation is growing around the United States, and all though Paul doesn’t stand out as far as technical or aerial ability goes, he is one of the most solid wrestlers I’ve seen in a regional fed. His understanding of the basics and his ability to tell a story in the ring make it clear why he’s risen so quickly up the CZCW ranks. When Frankie was on the offence, Paul made him look like an ultimate martial art bad ass. And his charisma and microphone skills make him a solid main eventer. However tonight, it was Frankie’s night to get revenge and that’s what he did, locking in the P-Clutch after a back and forth 12 minutes. Also, all though I hadn’t noticed it earlier in the night, I had pretty good chemistry with Doc Messing that really helped this match in particular. I personally couldn’t wait to see this on TV.[/CENTER] Result: Frankie Perez defeated Paul Huntingdon in 12:42 by submission with a P-Clutch. Grade C- Frankie Perez celebrated his revenge in the ring as the show went off air. Grade D [B]FINAL RATING[/B]: D+ (Too many high spots?) Show and the overall feelings was good, as we had gone to the South East and run a decent show considering that none of them really knew that much about CZCW, other than we existed. [CENTER][IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Focus2004/CZCW/BlackHatBailey.jpg[/IMG][/CENTER] “Good show guys, especially you two.” Black Hat Bailey deliberately spoke up, singling out Frankie Perez and Paul Huntingdon for praise. Frankie was generally one of the nicest and hardest working guys in the business, and he and Paul were talking about their match, how they could have improved on it, and what they did that was good and that they could do again. [CENTER][IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Focus2004/CZCW/FrankiePerez.jpg[/IMG][IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Focus2004/CZCW/Aristocrat.jpg[/IMG][/CENTER] I got the feeling that Paul realized how good a worker Frankie was, and was working with Frankie as well as he could, because he knew it was furthering his career. Paul can have a good match with anyone that is talented. Paul was known for being a manipulator, and this situation was probably a dream come true for him. “Thanks Bailey.” Paul spoke up to Black Hat, in a bit of a suck upish kind of way. Frankie simply nodded, probably worried that his match wasn’t a show stealer. Frankie always wanted to achieve the best. That and he knew that you had to get the balance right between sucking up and just staying quiet. Insane Machine had been quick to leave the arena, apparently having something else important to do, perhaps like catch a plane. “Good match kid, you’ve got a bright future ahead of you. You remind me of myself when I was you’re age.” Donnie J patted the rookie on the shoulder. Quentin gave Donnie J a smirk, enough for Donnie J to think he’d taken the praise like a young rookie should, but those that new Quentin, knew he was a ****y young kid, who was looking for every opportunity to get ahead. He was ruthless, and that along with his talent meant eventually, he’d go a long way. [CENTER][IMG]http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v353/Focus2004/CZCW/BobbyThomas.jpg[/IMG][/CENTER] “So he reminds you of an overrated lightweight who can’t go for longer than twenty minutes.” A few chuckles echoed around the locker room, as it was a regular topic of gossip around the CZCW locker room, about Donnie J’s lack of staying power in the ring. All though the usual ribbing wasn’t accompanied by overrated and didn’t usually come from a new addition to the roster. Even if he was Bobby Thomas from CGC! The ironic part of this was, that Bobby Thomas’s stamina levels weren’t that much higher than Donnie’s anyway. But perhaps Bobby felt he had to come in and stand out amongst the masses. Nate Johnson had been here awhile, and not caused any problems. “When you finally get out of the tag team ranks, maybe you can talk down to me newbie!” Donnie J turned around and lashed out with a comeback to Bobby Thomas. Bobby seemingly took this as a challenge to his authority. Maybe he was a big deal in the CGC locker room, or perhaps he just had an ego. But Donnie J wasn’t willing to let it slide. The two went face to face as Bobby said something about The Specialists being a true tag team, unlike the fly boys. Nate, who was nearby, did absolutely nothing, as if the fact his well known tag team partner causing trouble, was none of his business. In fact, it wasn’t Nate or even Black Hate Bailey that stopped the situation escalating, but instead it was the rookie’s, Justin Sensative and Bradley Blaze who stepped forward and between the two arguing. Jokes are jokes, let’s not take this too far.” Bradley Blaze spoke with authority, despite the fact that this was his first show for an established company. And he seemed to get through to the two, as despite the fact that they were near boiling point, they stepped away from each other. “It must be something in the Shrimps!” Justin Sensitive cracked a joke which lightened the tension slightly as he referred to all the shrimp that they had been offered, having wrestled in the Rainbow Bar and Grill. And the situation defused. The locker room returned to its usual harmonious state as Bobby Thomas calmed down as did Donnie J. However a few whispers went around about Bradley Blaze and Justin Sensitive, but it wouldn’t have been anything that if they heard, would have caused any problems. As if butter would melt in his mouth and he was the epitome of a team player. It’s funny how wrestlers go from acting as if they have all the power, to suddenly being in a position of no power at all. All the power was with the owners and the bookers. If you were friends with them, then perhaps you had some influence. Unfortunately for those in CZCW, my only friend was Cliff Anderson. I took a puff from my cigarette as Bobby Thomas sat there, waiting for me to say what I had to say. Well he could wait, and he could continue to wait. I wanted a harmonious locker room, and those that threatened that, were in my mind expendable. And as he didn’t know who I was, thanks to the dim lighting I had in my office, and the fact that he couldn’t find out from anybody else, he actually seemed slightly worried. The Grand Avatar name was known around the wrestling world, but it was a character. Nobody knew the person. That’s the way I wanted it. “So, I show respect for you’re talent as a wrestler by actively trying to sign you, and as soon as you sign, I book you in a victory, and you repay me by disrupting my locker room?” I watched him as I waited for an answer. “I didn’t mean anything by it……………” I stopped him in his tracks. “I don’t care if you meant anything by it or not. Donnie J is one of our main eventers, with the popularity we need to get CZCW to go far. The last thing I need, is some new kid, who’s not particularly over in the regions I’m concerned about, pissing him off. Yes, everyone knows Donnie J isn’t the fittest wrestler on our roster, but he’s talented and the fans love him. He is an asset, at the moment you’re expendable. Don’t ask me why he wants to wrestle in CZCW, when he’s a big enough name, and more suited for CGC or USPW, but I’m not going to argue with him. And this was simply an introduction to Irwin and a squash to make Alex DeColt look as good as he is. Everyone that has booked this promotion since El Mitico joined, has realized this kid can go in the ring. Amazingly consistent with amazing stamina, the only down side is he could have a better grip of psychology. That’s it! And he’s 21! Ernest Youngman that could be a success in most promotions, with solid technical skills and performance skills! He was discovered working as a bouncer in Pittsburgh by Nemesis, who liked his look so much that he hired him to come and work for DAVE. Debuting in late 2004 he spent the next two years as an "enforcer for hire" for the heels in the company, while in the meantime he was training hard with Shawn Gonzalez to prepare him for his eventual debut as a wrestler. Unfortuantely DAVE went out of business soon after his in-ring debut, but he followed his mentor Gonzalez south to the FCW promotion in Puerto Rico in order to continue to improve as a wrestler. He only lasted in FCW for a year, but was a common feature on USPW, where he was used often to put over champions like Jumbo Jackson, and one the tag team titles with Jay Chord and then Jumbo Jackson in 2008 and 2009 respectively. The end of 2009 saw Jumbo Jackson finally lose out to Colossus, as he won his first singles title. That catapulted him towards stardom for a short period, as he eventually won the USPW World Title in 2012 by beating Chris Caulfield but fell out with Alicia Strong, the new owner, and lost the title to Warlord Power a month later. However during this time he’d also risen up the CZCW ranks, and was given a world title run when he defeated Frankie Perez at the start of 2013. Finisher: Damnation Drop Comment: He’s perfect, for USPW, CGC or SWF. He might even make it in TCW and NOTBPW. But he just doesn’t deliver in CZCW like others can. He has undeniable star quality and a good understanding of psychology and the basics. But he’s a brawler, and nothing more. He put on decent matches last year, in the C to B- range, but this year, only Frankie Perez has been able to get anything decent out of him. A true student of the game he has also made it clear that he'd like to travel to Japan to compete. A Triple Crown Champion in CZCW! Finisher: P-Clutch, Perfect Parity Comment: Frankie Perez is CZCW. One of the few to still be around from the past! His title run was amazing, and he has the complete package. Even his weaknesses, aren’t really that bad. If his microphone skills and psychology went up, he’d be a complete package. By 18 he was doing ringside work as a manager, playing a snobbish rich kid under the name Lord Geoffrey Windameer. Using the contacts he had already built up he began training with a variety of different wrestlers, and eventually got a big break when he was signed by RIPW, the SWF's feeder league, in 2006. His time there saw him develop quickly from an inconsistent spot monkey into a pretty solid competitor, and in December 2007 he got his dream move when he was called up to the main SWF roster. He debuted on the very final show of the year, working as "Blue Blood" Paul Huntingdon. He went on to be a mainstay in the Shooting Star Division, winning it in 2010. Programmers after with the likes of Angry Gilmore and the Bumfholes helped him develop into a complete solid and charismatic wrestler. However both USPW and SWF let Paul go, but his loss was CZCW’s game. Finisher: ??? Comment: Paul Huntingdon is perhaps the most reliable guy on our roster. Unfortunately there’s nothing about his actual wrestling that stands out. He is just good. However when he gets on the microphone, he’s great. If he could just pick up some chain wrestling or aerial ability, he’d be a main eventer, and we’d probably lose him. When he was released in 2005, he made his way to CZCW with his partner, and soon had established himself as a big name and captured the CZCW championship. That led to Jimmy turning on him, and they now have a heated rivalry going. However Jimmy soon went to SWF for their shooting star division. Meanwhile Donnie J became one of the best CZCW stars on the roster. Four time champion since he came to CZCW, his matches with Malili Umaga will probably be remembered in CZCW history for decades to come. Finisher: Death on Miami Beach Comments: With Frankie Perez, he is the face of CZCW. He epitomizes everything that CZCW stands for when he wrestles, his only downside is his entertainment skills and his stamina. He was eventually released in 2000, when even the great SWF booking team of that era could no longer hide the fact that his in-ring skills were sub par compared to the rest of the roster. He wound up in USPW by 2002, where he is now a former four time champion, and one of their biggest names. Has added Television, National and an RIPW World Champion run to his title reigns! Finisher: Full Force Comments: Why did USPW let him go? Why did we pick him up? Well, he’s an older version of Paul Huntingdon, that has even less to make him stand out when it comes to wrestling talent. But rarely disappoints either. Out of all of the DeColt boys, Alex is regarded as having the best mind for the business; he has been head booker of CGC for a few years already, and was expected to eventually take over the company when his father retires. However he decided to spread his wings in 2011 as he changed his CGC contract to a PPA one, and signed on with the falling SWF and the rising USPW. Threw SWF he met Paul Huntingdon who convinced Alex to come and do a couple of appearances in CZCW, and he must have liked what he saw, as he has been around since 2011, all though he has seemingly been used sparingly. Finisher: Decolt Driver & Tower Collapse Suplex Comment: He’s got star quality, he’s got stamina, he’s got charisma to spare and he’s an all round talent when it comes to wrestling. He might not be the best at everything, but he’s definitely good at everything, as his runs in SWF and USPW along with workers like Trent Shaftner and Shooter Sean getting pushed in CGC, means Alex has become a more complete worker than he was previously. Should be able to get a good match out of anyone! Strong, quick and muscular, he has a lot of potential to be a good wrestler, and that was spotted by Rip Chord who quickly brought him into MAW. With Chord's guidance, Davids rapidly become a big star with MAW, and it wasn't long before bigger promotions came sniffing around. With Chord's blessing, Davids chose to head to USPW in the summer of 2007. He became a star in USPW and NYCW, before getting a call for a run in TCW. All though that only seemed to hurt his career, as when TCW dropped him, only NYCW took him back, USPW having replaced him with the likes of Warlord Pain and Colossus. It was CZCW and Masked Mauler who gave him an opportunity, debuting with a loss to the then champion, Donnie J. Since then USPW have picked him back up and dropped him again. Finisher: Quarterback Sack, Touchdown. Comment: A good brawler, with good basics. But that’s all that Des is, good, but there’s many who are better. All though he has what some of the old stars lacked, which is stamina. With a very thick, muscled torso, he resembles the sort of wrestler that was prominent during the 1960s and 70s, but his style is very modern, being based mainly around hard strikes and innovative bone-crunching moves. He is also particularly noted for having extremely strong mat wrestling skills. If he develops correctly, Youngman could become a very big name in the business. Finisher: The Hit Comment: One of the best technical wrestlers not working for one of the big promotions at the moment. Ernest Youngman can tie you in knots and reverse almost anything. On top of that he has natural born charisma, athletic and physical prowess and has got a good grasp of wrestling psychology. He’s only twenty years old, but he will become a massive star eventually. He’s the one good thing about PSW shows. He is a distant cousin of British star Jack Giedroyc, and like his relative, it seems that the future is very bright for Joey, with a wealth of opportunities within his grasp. Has added a fourth 4C Championship reign, a MAW Championship reign and two NOTBPW Tag Team Title Reigns with Omar Brown to his achievements. Finisher: Antidote Web Comments: It’s been known for years now that Joey Poison is a talented and charismatic worker. But he hasn’t improved anymore since he left 4C. Still hasn’t really gotten to grips with the psychology of the game, Joey seems to have fallen short of reaching the potential many thought he had. Still a good addition to the roster though. In 2006 he captured the USPW world title and it looked like it may be the start of something, but he lost it very quickly. In late 2006 he was teamed up with Danny Rushmore as The Towers Of Power, in the hope that they would turn into a dominant monster heel tag team. That combination became three time champions, as Mick Muscles steadily improved as a worker. Finisher: ??? Comments: Another big guy in the CZCW roster. Yes, he’s a lot better than he was in the past. Like Colossus, he’s ten times the worker he was. Under the mask is rookie worker Christopher Bain, who was discovered working low level independent matches in the Boston territory by Morton in 2009. Morton was said to be impressed by the youngster's natural ability, so much so that he offered to take him under his wing and train him. Bain accepted, and now he is beginning his journey under the Acid mask. He is a very similar worker to the original, but needs work. Finisher: Acid Rain Bomb Comment: When it comes to athleticism and natural high flying ability, you can see why Tayler Morton would have picked this guy as his protégé. Needs to learn a bit more about in ring psychology to become a great worker, but carrying the Acid name isn’t a small burden to bear. If he wants to match his mentor, then he needs to work on his all around game a lot more. Although young, he already has solid basic skills due to his amateur background, and seems something of a wrestling machine; his stamina levels are freakish. Has been on a tear since joining CZCW last year! Finisher: Northern Lights Suplex, German Suplex Comment: Rumbling, Announcing and Stiffness. There his week points. It was easier to list them than his strengths. Nuff said! His ring work and look are very influenced by the Japanese wrestling culture, and is known that eventually he would like to wrestle there, especially in the legendary BHOTWG Junior division. Finisher: Fox Flip Off DDT, Fox Hunter Comment: One of the CZCW main figure heads over the years, Fox Mask often doesn’t get the recognition he deserves nowadays. With his ability and talents continuing to improve year in and year out, many CZCW fans long for another Fox Mask run at the top. He first came to fame as Pecs, one half of the Flex and Pecs tag team, wrestling in USPW and the SWF before the duo was broken up. Once he was separated from his more talented partner (Frederique Antonio Garcia) he began to struggle; being repackaged as "The Spanish Phenom" Mikel Alonso did nothing for his career, and he would then go through another change to become Super Starfish, the fouth member of the Underwater Union. In truth, the character was just created as the catalyst for the break-up of the stable, "the commotion in the ocean", and within months the character was history. Leaving the SWF in August 2007, he appeared under his new ring name for the first time with FCW just a month later. Since then he has traveled around the states, looking for success that would emulate his tag team days with Flex. Some say he’ll never reach those heights again. While neither man is a spectacular worker, their solid skills and combined ability to bring the best out in opponents have made them one of the best tag teams in North America today. Perhaps his biggest asset is his image though, as his natural babyface looks and muscled physique make him look like a superstar ready to happen. He is still developing as a wrestler, and if he can add some polish to his skills, a little bit better timing, and some experience, he'll be very good indeed.
