I bought this game just about two or so hours ago, and I have to say, I liked the demo. But that's just it, I didn't get to try out any of the actual matches. So when I bought it, I was surprised to find that the fighting system is absolute crap. 90% of the time I end up losing the match, no matter how much thought I put into each and every move. So, with the bad wholely outweighing the good of the game, I want to get my money back. I'd much rather play something which at least lets me win on occasion.

It is likely a matter of you not fully understanding the combat system at present. Either that, or you are starting out as a rookie and thus rather underpowered compared to most opponents. If you play in the Superstar mode with an established worker, you might have an easier time. If you have any questions about the fighting system, I'm sure that people here would be happy to answer.
If you're playing Rookie to Legend, then you will lose pretty much every match at first, because your wrestler has just come out of training and will therefore suck.
That's it exactly, when you play as a rookie you are pretty much very green and have to work as enhancement talent for a while (unless you are Giant sized,in which case you can rack up a few wins due to high initial physical stats)...the more important thing at the starting level is the grade of the matches;if you can hang in there long enough and build the match properly to at least get some C/C+ matches out of opponents your overness will slowly go up and the promoter won't be upset with you,you may even get an occasional win. That is why it is important to work on your psychology, the better that is,the easier it is have quality matches with an oppponent.
