like2throw
im currently played the 1997 mod, and I just finished wcw starcade, and i got a ppv buy rate of 28.58, is that good, and how is it measured.
smartman
Umm...let's see. I've never seen SWF or TCW get close to a 15.00 so yes that is great, and a sign that the mod is just a lot off. Plus, they never got that kind of buy rate in real life ever. When you get the money from the PPV, you'll see that it is absurd. I'm pretty sure Bischoff would have sold his mother or Vince would sell one of his grandkids to the devil to get that buyrate.
like2throw
well most of my storylines for the matches had like b story ratings. The main event was Hulk hogan vs sting, and the card featured ddp vs randy savage, kevin nash and scott hall vs bret hard and rick flair, eric bishoff vs roddy pipper as the primary undercard matches. The ppv itself had a b+ rating and the only downfall came when I couldnt let hulk hogan switch belts lol, so I had to vacate the title at the end of the match and that angle go a c-.... also in your house by wwf was shown that night too and got a buy rate of
Hyde Hill
Even with that kind of card and storylines btw b is good but not great 28.58 is ridiculous.
smartman
With that card, you should have gotten higher though with that stinker of an angle closing the show I can see why it got a B. Unless you have a PPV deal in every area with the highest size and the game combined the buyrates (never have had a PPV deal in any of my games in 08), 28 is just absurd. The 9 buyrate WWF got was much more realistic. Keep in mind, this isn't your fault (unless you signed all the PPV deals which still wouldn't be your fault as they shouldn't be able to get all those deals or at that level). This is part of the reason I don't play any of the real-world mods, save the original DOTT. No matter how good a job people do making them, the game will spit out dumb stuff like that buyrate. Stennick
it'd be more of an achievement if you had been doing 10.00's and what not and then you produced this mega show that popped a 28 seems like all of your ppv buyrates will be around that number.
