Eisen-verse
I remember reading a while back that we could put actual wrestlers in as people's managers to act as a Bodygaurd. is that correct? Also, I remember that it wouldn't really hurt the worker if they weren't great on the mic... Would just always be present with the worker. is that true? I'd like to make sure before I went through and did it. Cheers.
Bigpapa42
I think you can assign almost anyone to act as a manager - personality, authority figure, color commentator... Maybe even a referee? So I don't see why could use another wrestler. I'm guessing they would need some of the same attributes that make up a decent personality/manager for it not drag everything down, though. Would menace count, I wonder?
scorpion
I've never seen a note saying a manager dragged down a segment. I've only seen them help and the occassional chemistry note.
Eisen-verse
the thing is I wouldn't put their push at a "manager" and if I was going to use a bodyguard most likely they wouldn't really have good entertainment skills. I'm not sure.... maybe I should just team them up and have the other always be in their segments when I add in angles. I want something to do with "Big Daddy Knucks" (Knuckles) and I thought I would team him up and be someone's bodyguard. Probably a lightweight worker. Dragonmack
You can use another wrestler as a manager. In fact, it is a good thing to do in a stable if a regular manager has bad chemistry with one of the wrestlers, but there is another wrestler in the stable with good promo skills. As for the bodyguard. I wouldn't assign them with the manager push at all, instead, i would just use them in segments with the person they are bodyguarding, and have their part of the angles rated on menace. The new booking angle writer is great for that and it helps those big people whose ring and entertainment skills are worthless still get some decent grades. Case in point, I can get C level segments from Land Mass using a menace angle, and if his overness was higher, the grade would be higher.

Which is a separate issue. So besides the chemistry issue, a "poor" manager can't drag a segment down. They just don't add anything positive, I guess, unless they have chemistry. Makes sense. D-Lyrium
I have Nightmare as Mister King's bodyguard in much the same situation as you're talking about, and he has no problems despite not exactly being Mr Charisma...
SuperOwens
I had a fairly well know (D+) Cameron Vessey managed by a completely unknown (F-) 'Tower of London) in my regional fed. They would regularly pull in C/C+ ratings in angles with the Towers role rated on menance. Pushed Vessey into the main event and the Tower is up to about D pop having only wrestled in a couple of dark matches. The best thing is you know you will book the eventual turn of the bodyguard :)
