Guest Ransik
From Gerweck; - The company is doing so well right now that they have started paying back Panada Energy for all the money they put into the company.
I was actually quite shocked to read it... I knew they were making a profit but I didn't think they were making that much, although I'm sure when the video game comes out it's gonna really boost profits. Although it doesn't surprise me at all that in the same report that Russo wants Sting to turn heel... cause THAT worked so well the last time he tried it! panix04
admitedly the Sting heel turn was a bust, but sting was far more over then than he is now. It was the fans that prevented the sting heel turn from really taking, i think they could pull off a Sting turn now.
tristram
I thought they would be. Their cost structures are quite well contained in that they have a fixed show location, I believe a lot of their stars would be on PPA's and they seem to be diversifying their revenue streams well. WCW had it similar with the Impact Zone style when they were at Disney Studios in Orlando around what 1993-1994 for all their Saturday Night tapings and that was the start of them becoming profitable. infinitywpi
All Sting has to do to turn heel: "Seriously, TNA? Give it up. WCW was better run, had more stars, and was popular enough not to tape their shows in the same arena week after week to an arena full of peopel who couldn't be bothered to pay for their tickets. WCW was the main attraction... TNA is a sideshow at an amusement park. Hell, I only work here because I took a bet... I said that even I couldn't make this stuff watchable! Turns out, I'm right!" Smark Sting would be such a Russo gimmick, but I think it would work...
CQI13
To be fair, not many people were paying for tickets in the beginning of WCW (or the end for that matter).
