SuperOwens
Its possible that is causing the conflict. You could go into control panels - system - hardware. Locate the devices and find out which location there pulling from. It should also let you see any conflicts and troubleshoot (though I doubt it will do anything) You can also try un-installing and reinstalling the drivers. You have a resources tab in there that will allow you to change the settings, I wouldn't touch that unless you know what your doing though. Same goes for registry and bios. What's the actual error is throwing up for you? Maybe a reset to factory defaults may clear it up...
i effin rule
No, but I put my old hard drive into this computer.
That's the problem. Unless you formatted the old drive then it's going to have conflicts due to BIOS and what have you. I can't really go into great detail (because I don't really know) I just know that I was told by a computery guy that it wouldn't work. I was looking to do the same thing when I was building a new PC (to avoid having to buy a new OS) but it wasn't going to work.
djthefunkchris
You should be able to use your original discs that come with it (your Wireless Internet), to re-install drivers that are needed to even "find" it in the first place. Somehow, there is a way, do not give up.
SuperOwens
Aye, its definitely doable, just depends on how much of an IT geek you are ;) If your comfortable making changes to the BIOS, you can go that route. Drivers first though mate, always try the drivers. Good luck
