TEWFan
After witnessing it with two of my best workers, I was wondering if someone else have workers that have hit the ceiling and won't go any farther up. Especially Upper Midcarders that cannot break into the Main Event scene. In my ROF game, Walter Morgan and Keith Adams are stuck in the Upper Midcard no matter what I do. I even gave Adams the ROF World Title and a long six month title reign and he failed to go any farther up. He was working consistently with Merle O' Curle, British Samurai, Jack Avatar(me) and K'lee Hawkins and they always had the best match of the night, yet he failed to break the ceiling. The same thing with Morgan, a 3 time #1 Contender Champion who always looses his title shot because no matter how many times Avatar and Samurai put him over, he is stuck in the Upper Midcard. The thing that worries me is that I am seeing a similar trend with Don Henderson and Billy Robinson, who I was hoping to split up and push once they where over enough. Meanwhile, I hired Daniel Black Francis and he went from Upper Midcard to Main Event in two matches! A win over Geordie Jimmy Morris (who I also hired) and a win over Jack Avatar. Mtm2k6
Acid seems to be on mine, just gave him the North American title, to see if he can break it, and worringly, DuBois and the Bumfholes too, but maybe that's because of my erratic pushing. I thought for a time that Eric Eisen was stuck at B too, and one of my critical owner goals was to get him to B+. It's worked though.
Gigas
Acid and Shawn Gonzalez both seem to be capped at C+ unless you give them a huge win over someone more popular, which just isnt worth doing because Acid and Shawn cant keep their popularity with a loss. Hyde Hill
The glass cieling can also be a non Overness cap when running a fed that doesn't have national exposure as the autopush and what the worker thinks his push should be a re calculated on a national basis. So when running a local to regional fed it can be a deceptive cieling. Wrote a whole piece on the suggestions page if you are interested on how I think that part of the game could be improved. Marcel Fromage
Yep, as Hyde Hill said. With ROF you've got the issue that you're not getting national exposure. So guys like Walter Morgan or Keith Adams might be getting loads of wins in one area, but in the other areas they still don't have the overness to force them up into the main event because card placing is based on national overness levels. Someone like DBF will have more overness in the UK as a whole from working 21CW and so will enter the main event more quickly. Unfortunately there's not much more you can about this except work cheap shows in other areas with the workers you want to raise. Of course, then their salaries will go up as well. Of course, with someone like Walter who doesn't have much star quality, the overness cap may also be coming into it.
bonos mullet
Before my hard drive crash (this weekend) i just could not get Jack Geidroyc above C+ across the US, maybe the Remo / Geidroyc respect feud wasnt as good as it seemed in my head. Hmm. Ah well guess i'll be trying to push Jack again when i get my game set back up.
