The wrestling World turns from mourning to disbelief the very same day however as in true McMahon fashion rumors of an outrageous will left behind begin to circulate. At 6P.M that night McMahon family lawyers address the media, they announce that as Vince's will requests a statement will be made on his behalf...
"All I've ever known is professional wrestling, I love my family but I lived for the sport my father entrusted in me. I say entrust because I believe my father did entrust me with this sport that has given us so much joy. I spent the last ten years of my life trying to ensure with my passing so too wouldn't be the company I've created. I looked to my son Shane for the same passion and aggression I show but was met with a puppy who was more interested in "hanging with the boys" then learning the lessons I had to offer. Then I looked to my daughter Stephanie who seemed to have both the qualities my son lacked. Stephanie I've never been prouder of you but you don't know what it takes yet my dear. Running the WWE is more then telling the writers yay or nay. There are a few people I've met in my life who I know can keep you on your toes and teach you what you need to know. Effectively immediately, Extreme Championship Wrestling and all trademarks and copyrights affiliated are the sole property of Paul Heyman. Effective immediately, World Championship Wrestling and all trademarks and copyrights are the sole property of Eric Bischoff. I've drawn the papers up legally and they are already signed and in action. I can understand some of you at WWE may not be happy with these changes. Any WWE talent under any contract has until 12 P.M midnight tonight to void their contract and all stipulations related to it. Paul, Eric, I trust that you will show my daughter the same ruthless camaraderie as you did me. My only regret is I won't be around to see the entertainment to come. Remember, perception is reality, Vincent Kennedy McMahon."
Promotions Update WCW With the 12 P.M deadline in place Bischoff goes straight to work. In two hours he has secured huge financial backers and also managed to obtain the numbers of several high profile WWE superstars. With a massive wallet and the famous Bischof bravado he weavs his magic and manages to persuade several workers to opt out of their contract and sign for WCW. Granted in some cases not much magic is needed as the feeling of most of the workers targeted by Bischoff is their future at WWE doesn't look too bright. To add to the WWE's problems backstage the rumour that Triple H will be instated as head booker by Stephanie was being confirmed by higher ups within the company shortly after the press conference wrapped. The following workers have defected from WWE and signed with Bischoff and his new WCW. Matt Hardy Carlito John Hennigan (Johnny Nitro) Paul London Charlie Haas Gregory Helms Jimmy Yang Kenny Dykstra Paul Wight (The Big Show) Nick Patrick Jim Ross And in the shock signing that will be remembered maybe more then any other years from now.... Randy Orton Over the next few days Bischoff continues his spending spree, stopping at no expense he once again uses his new financial backing to sign some big names and lure some even bigger ones back to the sport. The following workers sign with Bischoff..... Hulk Hogan Goldberg Brock Lesnar And in another shock most thought impossible... Ric Flair The Nature Boy is obviously very cautious of Bischoff, however he desperately needs the paydays and the added chance to once again shine in his home fed is too much to turn down. Demanding a "Creative Conrtol" clause Flair signs a contract that instantly gives WCW its legitimacy back. In turn another big name is lured back to the company..... Sting Under a temporary TNA contract and his future up in the air the Stinger is convinced after a phone call from long time friend Flair to return to the company that made him a star. ECW With his cherished company once again in his name and a new found robust cheque book Paul Heyman frantically sets out to sign some talent from the WWE. In an effort to boost his chances of signing higher quality workers Heyman quickly makes it public ECW will relaunch with a new product, skewed heavily to Modern day wrestling as opposed the old Hardcore, Risque ECW product. In the limited time he has Heyman only manages to sign mostly ECW alumni... Tommy Dreamer Stevie Richards Joey Styles Taz Mick Foley Mike Bucci Nunzio Super Crazy John Finegan Blue Meanie A few more signings were made that night and in the following two days... Raven Jerry Lynn Sandman Sabu Terry Funk Shelton Benjamin Lured by Heymans declaration of a "New Modern" ECW and promised a pivotal role on the roster Benjamin jumps ship from WWE leaving his 79 stop start pushes behind. Bryan Danielson With Gabes blessing Danielson signs a high paying contract receiving the pay day he has deserved for years now. While hesitant to commit to the one company, The American Dragon looks to fit right at home in the new ECW. And what looks to be Heymans biggest coup.... Rob Van Dam WWE In the aftermath of Vince's will and Stephanies subsequent decision to place Triple H as a head booker tensions grow between Shane McMahon and his younger sister. In a move of defiance Shane publically disowns Stephanie claiming she manipulated their father into hating him, even going as far as to hint that his sister played a hand in their late fathers mysterious and untimely death ensuring she would take control of the WWE. Shane in the same media appearance announces the creation of his new company...... WFF The World Fighting Federation is an obvious play on the WWF and shot at Shane's late father and the WWF/E. Created by Shane McMahon, WFF introduces a style never seen before in pro wrestling. Following Shanes love for MMA, the product he has created sees Hyper Realism as a key feature. Recruting his long time friend Tito Ortiz as head booker, McMahon uses his wallet to his advantage signing a top star and a few staff members.... Bobby Lashley Frank Trigg John McCarthy Another massive signing that shocked the industry was soon to follow.... Kurt Angle Turning his back on TNA and fiendishly using a "Get Out" clause in his contract Angle signs with his long time friend Shane McMahon. In Angle's TNA contract it stated he could take as much time of to do MMA as he needed. Techinally Shane has registered WFF as a MMA company so Kurt can sign a written contract thus making his TNA contract null and void. TNA Dixie Carter is watching the press conference and upon hearing of the "Get Out Clauses" Vince has given WWE talent quickly phones her head booker Vince Russo. Carter gives Russo the go ahead to sign any WWE talent he can before the 12P.M deadline. TNA announce on its website the very next morning the signing of only one WWE worker.... Genadi
Main post updated with Promotion Previews. I'd like to take the chance to send a huge props to JimmyShakerz, we were struggling for time trying to include some Japan data and he was nice enough to give us permission for use of his massive amount of work. People like Shakerz make GDS a much more enjoyable place for us all and we really do appreciate it. :)

Tempest Kane
I just cant see TNA loseing kurt angle like that at all. Infact i think you would almost certainly see more ex-WCW stars sign with TNA than a reformed WCW under bish if this actually happened.. You have to assume their would be a working relationship in anycase.. Nice concept tho.. again, cant see kurt jumping ship, or tna waisting cash on a guy like the miz when they could have Evan Borne or Kofi Kingston ... who would make it as big stars of the X Division ... and tbh, who dosnt want to see Kofi & Consequence's in a tag team? COME ON?
Genadi
Shane's new WFF product is perfect for Angle and what he's been screaming he wants to do for the past 5 years now. Him and Shane are friends and when offered 5 times the amount of his existing contract he jumps ship. Bit of a stretch I know but we needed a great worker to carry WFF. I don't know why you think more guys would go to TNA? The money is nowhere near what they're being offered elsewhere, the company is smaller then WCW and Russo is the one contacting them to try and convince them :p People may not like Bischoff but not many like Vince either, he's well respected by alot in the business though. I think he could manage to sign more WWE talent then Vince Russo. Why would Bischoff want a working agreement with Dixie or anyone involved in TNA? The Miz signing with TNA is a rib, the mod is first and foremost going to be fun, we stuck to reality as best we could and for the vast part but sacrificed little bits to add to the end result. I doubt Lesnar would come back to pro wrestling at the moment even for a huge contract but we brought him back for the reasons I just gave. :)
Tempest Kane
Well.. if you want to make this fun, have them sack russo and do us all a faviour =D. I get it. i do.. i just think you hurt TNA far too much with taking angle from them, his contract does allow MMA so its possible he cud work for both? Regards WCW/TNA working agreement, eric has been anti-tna on interview but... i think its more jelousy that they managed to start what he couldnt... Why would he want to work with them? Why the hell not? He must of learned from his expirance with ECW that if your going to be the top dog your enemys enemy is your friend... I think given the divided WWE roster TNA with angle would stand as the top promotion if it didnt lose too much talent ... without i just dont know. Flapjack
This is my favorite mod yet. I love playing as ECW and WCW in this reality. Very fun stuff. One question though. Are the matches in ECW suppose to be hardcore or not?

Tempest Kane
Im playing WFF. And i take back my orignal comments above. Coz i love it. Took me awhile to get the feel for a small MMA based promo, but with a few key signing's of the free agents im 12 workers strong building up 2 solid division's with an eye to getting my company into a position to steal names such a lesner and goldberg down the line. Im under a working agreement with TNA, so the second Joe drop's the title im going to be putting on some MMA shoot fights bettwen him and Angle. I have been buying 1 old timer (Sid V) and then trading them via working agreement to TNA for guy's like booker T for 3 shows...and then letting booker work with my younger guy's as a kinda novalty match for the wrestling fans in my audiance... i ushally end up jobbing booker out after his 1st of 3 as tbh i doubt he would last 2mins in a real MMA fight and i want to spread that love from him to my younger guys ;) Anycase i love the mod. Ill be sure to continue to play.
Genadi
Thanks Tempest, we love hearing about people's games as it gives us an idea of how the mod is working out. alden
I have to admit i was a little surprised with how you choose to handle ecw. With czw around were you not trying to have anohter hardcore fed? It is a great product for it just not what i was expecting.
Genadi
We thought about keeping their product as the old ECW decided with the current settings. Considering Gabe is his protege we figure ROH is the best indication of what Heyman's product would have evolved to. The old ECW was alot more then just Hardcore matches and sick bumps and Paul.E has always been one to prefer a modern style. Above all else the AI runs much smoother with the current settings as it would leaning to Hardcore. Especially the workers Heyman hires which a very good BETA tester discovered and pointed out to us. Tempest Kane
Im just shocked now. About WCW Im still playing my MMA game, but having seen the world around me i see a WCW that within 3 months is back to its old ways... lots if in fighting, massive rosters (bigger than WWE's by almost a quarter) and their actively poaching TNA's roster to bits... first they took Christian Cage who was the #1 guy for TNA at the time... and then the list just went on and on and on from their. After about 5 months Eric decided he was not the guy to take the company forward and he stood aside as the head booker, i have honestly never noticed that happen in any game i have played before so i was excited to see it happen... WCW is finding it hard to hold a TV show, its been canceled twice allready and is giving it a 3rd try as we speak... Im an MMA company so i dont have to worry about lot of things WCW has to.. i almost think the most exciting part of my game at the moment is waiting to see what WCW do next, so much so that i dont even want to play them.. its too much fun just watching them and picking at their junior talent for my pet project. The Project :: Trying to bridge the gap/Stem the growth of the other promotions I have started to gather a small group of junior talent for a second show, they run dark matchs at my MMA shows, my plan is to bridge the gap.. "cross the line" as tna would say between MMA and sports entertainment, im going to run a second show that is more of a luchra libera style // light weight mma style cross breed... Im talking about guys like Low Ki etc. Anyway i dont know how thats going to work out, to be honest im mostly doing it to take away talent from the larger promotions and have something to do with them since i dont have a development promotion i can send them too. I have to find some way to stem their growth while i convince the world MMA is the way forward right? Request's // Hidden Gemz I would love to see more MMA stars in this mod, complete with picture sets. I LOVED finding guys like Kimbo Slice turn up in the world of wrestling after a month or so... great stuff. I do think its a bit of a grind as a MMA promotion in this mod, but to be honest that just makes it better and more realistic when trying to go against sports entertainment...
