[RELEASE] Diablo Kombat X 2008

Any thanks will be in the Read Me file (included with the data). Diablo Kombat: DATA Diablo Kombat: PICTURES Please, I'm not adverse to criticism but saying "this data is s***" is not criticism. I want to know what to do to improve the data and make it fun for everyone so if you have any issues, come up with a solution as well. When it comes to stats, I didn't want to be too obvious with some characters, and the overness reflects the promotion they work for as opposed to their overness in the real world. For example, Batman is a main eventer in GPW, however if he made the transition to Kombat Promotions he would probably be no more than a jobber. There is reasoning behind this. Anyway, no more ramblings from me, I hope you enjoy the scenario! :D ORIGINAL THREAD FOR THOSE WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS

Before I even start playing I have two thoughts... Your cheat sheet for popularity of characters is not needed, nor are your test saved games... Other than that I have no problems so far... Started checking the data already...Catherine Kane (Batwoman) should be marked as homosexual as she's a lesbian, now I notice you have it in the bio, but not in the stats, themselves. Or are we assuming that all/most relationships are between the characters and not the "wrestlers" themselves? Also Stewie Griffin from family guy, a yet-to-be-debuted worker should be set as bisexual, at least...

Cheat sheet indeed, I prefer to call it a "working aide" :D Wondered why the file was so bloody big! I'll delete them and re-upload. Thanks for pointing out some of the oversights. I've probably forgotten to go through the sexuality on alot of them.

Try the game with scramble mode (replace the contract file with a blank one and sim through the game) The funniest stuff happens... lol, this game turns into a strange fan fiction and/or nationally recognized anti-drug campaign :-D I'm not gonna touch that one... Maybe he shouldn't have denied stealing the pizza in front of the grand jury.
The mod is totally awesome - one of the best TEW games I've played, and it's only the start :) Tekken > Whole World :D Also, where is this cheat sheet, and what does it do? Just curious.
Thanks WeeMan. The "Cheat sheet" was merely for the creation and getting the overness stats the way I wanted them. It was just a notepad file with each overness stat and which current/past worker would have fitted into that overness band. It doesn't help in anyway with playing the game.
the links are dead ends again
They should be working. I'm able to download so if you're still having problems let me know.

Right I've decided to give it until Saturday 30th August to see if anymore mistakes or tweaks are needed, gives those playing enough time to have a play and see what they don't like. If there are no more mistakes, then V.1 will also have a few new workers and promotions as the tweaks so far haven't really been that important and took me all of 30 seconds to change (to be honest I thought there'd be a hell of alot more). V.1 is likely (not guaranteed) to be out in the second half of September. After that V.2 and beyond will be just workers added to the database so you can import them into current games instead of having to start again everytime I release an update - I will include a text file with each update so as you know who to import. :)

The mod is totally awesome, but Stripperella was set as a male... She looks like a female :P Great mod, thanks for creating it, Fleisch. I've completely altered Tekken product for my own use, and I'm having one of the best games so far :)

Don't suppose you're still taking requests for workers, are you? If so, look no further than the stars of the video game that on a scale from 1 - awesome is super great, sbcg4ap. Yeah I would totally mark out for Homestar and Strong Bad, especially seeing as they've been Wrestlers.

I've corrected the mistakes found and will be starting work on adding new workers sometime this week. I'm toying with a Futurama promotion (Mainstream, Comedy as it's main focus), Mucha Lucha (because i can't decide what else to put in Mexico!) and maybe a few others. I have also decided that Dead or Alive is going to now be based in Australia where it should be as opposed to the UK. Watch this space....

Im liking it, except I hated the logos being stretched, so I made a logo pack with Alts for every starting promotion. Maybe Ill do the others later, IDK. Ooh, BloodyRoars Alt isnt listed like the rest, Its named as BREGA Because the Extreme Logo looked cool so I just went with it and figured you could change the promotion name to Bloody Roar Extreme Grappling Arts if you wanted to use it. Also, some of the SNSM are with the name Slam Master Wrestling, incase somebody wants to do a name change and expand. Anyway here you go!
Okay now that Ive started playing with this, Ive noticed two very sad things, there is no Freak and ref for SNSM! Freak is almost a must, he was as much of a part of Rasta as Elizabeth was to Randy Savage.
I couldn't find anything for Freak. To be honest I was about 11 when the game came out on the SNES - which is also when I last played it. I refreshed my memory by using various sites and couldn't find anything about Freak. If you've got any info on him I'll add him. Ref too. As for the logos, I was temporarily using the old ones for 2007 until I got around to creating new ones for this. I'm like you, I hate the stretched look! Would you mind if I used some of your logos (Thundecats and Tekken ones I especially like) for the next release? Full credit will be given.

Any use of logos is perfectly fine. Also, I found the info I was looking for on Freak at the Capcom characters Wiki. I knew it was there because I remember I looked him up more in depth when I used to do my updates for the first TEW. http://capcomdatabase.wikia.com/wiki/King_Rasta_Mon Anyway here is what that says... "Freak is Rasta's monkey companion. The two grew up together in the jungles of Santo Domingo, and it is said that they have a brotherly bond. With an IQ exceeding 200, Freak has a much better grasp of human speech than his cohort. Freak's role appears to be that of an assistant, seeing as how he helps organize (and occasionally partakes in) Rasta's matches. " There is also a picture there or you could probably find one on google somewhere.

I also liked your idea to change the name of BRGA to BREGA so it is now done.
