djthefunkchris
Glad to see Tomko back. Figured Jerrett was a given.
alden
Jarret is odvious but i am a little surprised by tomko. I figured him leaving was legit/long term.
Comradebot
Not bad to see Jarrett back, even in his 40s he can put on very solid matches. Tomko though.... ugh, never liked him. He's like a less interesting/talented Matt Morgan with an ugly beard..
Self
Totally dig Tomko. I thought his team with AJ was ace. Glad to see him back. Matt Morgan is interesting? Really? How?

Pushing him to the title was one of the thing's WCW did right. An under-rated all around talent if ever there was one. And, Self, I have to agree with Comradebot here. Morgan may have a pretty basic character and not be all that interesting in the grand scheme of things. But he's much more so than Tomko. Morgan at least looks like he's developed a clue when he's between the ropes. Tomko? Spare me.

I see a big, strong, athletic Matt Morgan-like guy, who's all "YEAH! I'm great! I can beat everyone! RRROOOAAARRR!" and I'm like "Um... Okay, dude. Whatever. I'll be over here." Tomko on the other hand was hanging out with Christian, AJ, Kurt. He plays with others, and I dig that. He's a real person who forms alliances, even though, in the end, he'll just do what's right for Tomko, ignoring all of the emo-bull**** going on around him. Sadly, since he beat up Christian for helping him win a match, that character has been lost, and he's faded away. There was a time where I really dug him though, when he was playing irritated straight man to "Dumb as a post" AJ Styles (loved that character) and was largely staying out of the Christian/Angle situation. I'm not going to comment on Tomko's in-ring ability, because honest, I haven't looked at that aspect too closely.
BIGJOSH
Tomko has GREATLY improved in-ring! He kind of plays the laid back cool character that Nash played, I really like Tomko a lot.

He worked so well as the straight man to Christian's OTT self-obsessed character. In fact, it was when Christian left that I think I stopepd watching televised wrestling and stopped PPVs shortly after that. Christian: Hey, Tomko, drop me a beat. Tomko: No.

How?
Hell of a lot more interesting than his WWE run. His promos are always at least decent (Largely due to Jim Cornette being one oif his mentors) and his matches aren't too bad either. I am a big Morgan mark.

TNA had managed to turn a guy who was little more than a generic WWE hoss into an entertaining character (without being blessed with general promo ability) that was simple to understand and relate too. He was straight up, I liked the basic 'respect' between him and Cage and he was no-nonsense character without being an over-the-top bad-ass. Sadly someone on the booking team decided that this wasn't enough, so instead we had to suffer a typically illogical swerve that turned Tomko back into a 'meh' heel with a chip on his shoulder who then just became lost in the pack. Sadly, I think the ship has sailed for that face version of Tomko now. :(
