Guest Ransik
Sting is retiring in my game.... so I figured I would have Sting pass the torch to Samoa Joe... well here's the problem; At Hard Justice I had Joe force Sting to tap out in a 3 Way Dance involving Styles.... Joe's popularity didn't move... neither did Sting's. So the following night at Impact I had Joe cleanly pin Sting in the Main Event of Impact.... same result. Is there some sort of block that keeps retiring stars from losing popularity.... and workers who defeat them from gaining it?
Rob4590
No there is no block to stop popularity changes of retiring stars. And when you say their popularity didn't move - do you mean exact % or their letter grade?
Hyde Hill
Also depends on how hard they loose and the letter grade of the match itself. If the percentages haven't moved then try squashing sting. Burial on sting, dominate on the winner.

You insensitive git! :D "Thanks for all you've done for this industry Steve. Now, sorry about this, but... Joe! DESTROY HIM!" ¬_¬ Anyway, the obvious question is... what Popularity are they at? In the only real world mod I've ever played, Sting is at A and Joe is at B-. If that's the case in your mod too, you're not gonna see a massive jump after one or two victories. Also, what's their momentum at? If Joe already has more momentum than Sting, he's not going to gain a whole lot of overness by beating him. Also, maybe Joe has hit his peak overness already?
