That would be a cool feature for a future version though. Since this sim has you doing things that not all bookers do such as hire/fire talent, make TV/PPV deals, book arenas and deal with workers. As owner you could set goals for your booker if you want, edit or assign him sorylines, tell him who to push, etc. I think having the option of playing as Owner, Booker or both would be great.

Actually I was thinking of this too. I don't think I'd play in "owner mode" myself but it could have some interest for the people who like to sim a few years (or more) and see what happens. An owner mode would be like straight sim plus. Sort of a mid ground between playing the full booker mode and the completely passive watcher/sim mode. By allowing the player to act in the same ways as the AI owner does they could run experiments to see how different conditions and goals can change the direction of a company. There could actually be a fair number of decisions and interaction in such a mode. Setting goals for the Head Booker as the AI does (which actually offers a lot of options just in itself), Choosing a Head Booker Firing the Head Booker Approving the Booker's hiring decisions Hiring (or at least Re-Hiring) workers you like Freely messing with the company's product and AI booking rules Some of the Head Booker's powers could be included in the owner mode's options as well, such as promotion pacts and buyouts. Seeing as how the game and it options have really reached an incredible high with 2008 an "Owner Mode" might very well be the next logical step in the games evolution. Now that I think about it, I'd probably run two games if those options were available. One "full mode" game as the Head Booker and a second, lighter style game, as an Owner. I should add that such a game mode may also increase the audience for TEW as the kind of people who like to play semi-passive AI Sim, AI creation or AI pet "games" might take a look at it. That's probably a small "may" though.
