crayon
Resilience.. does this statistic change over the course of a game, in relation to how hard you work them, or is it pretty much static? Legit.. is this only for how legit of a fighter they seem, or can you use it for other characters, such as how legit of a serious non-nonsense businessman they are? Popularity.. is there a general rule for someone wanting to set popularity for workers in relation to their promotion's own size/popularity? Obviously it's a very personal choice, but I'm just wondering if there's a vague rule of thumb already in place so things are kind of realistic and workers won't be bankrupting a promotion with their salaries. Personalities.. I understand what all the slider extremes mean by definition, but I'm not so certain about their ingame effect. Bold/Timid, Hesitant/Driven, Optimistic/Pessimistic, and Ruthless/Compasionate. I have my suspicions, but I'd rather be certain. Relationships.. Likewise, not sure of their ingame effects, especially in relation to each other, which would be handy when two people could fit under a number of different relationship options. I had a look in the help file but couldn't find any of the info I needed, so hopefully it wasn't staring me straight in the face.
bobinc
Personalities effect how they effect the locker room "atmosphere". like a poison bringing everyone down or making them mad or a leader helping others along. Relationships (I assume the yes/no option) is to just show that they are in one they don't get in one in game I assume. Popularity should be spread high enough to maintain the promotions current overness unless you have other plans. Resilience will change with age, injuries, work schedule what have you. As you get older you do tend to injure easier. As for "Legit" i dont know where you are seeing that in the gimmicks section?? I would assume it mean real. A real MMA fighter or a real CEO. Not a cartoony joke telling CEO or MMA fighter with lobster claws. Anyone can feel free to differ.
crayon
Cheers for the reply Bob; wondering if I could get a bit more indepth on a few of them...
As for "Legit" i dont know where you are seeing that in the gimmicks section?? I would assume it mean real. A real MMA fighter or a real CEO. Not a cartoony joke telling CEO or MMA fighter with lobster claws.
Sorry, it's actually in the performance section of the user editor.. but it looks like you've still answered my question either way. :) The relationships section I meant was the Worker Relations actually.. just wondering the difference between the effects.. like what difference will it have on my game if I choose to give someone loyalty rather than strong friendship, etc.
Popularity should be spread high enough to maintain the promotions current overness unless you have other plans.
Would it be fair to say that sticking your main eventers around the same popularity of the promotion is a fair call?
Personalities effect how they effect the locker room "atmosphere". like a poison bringing everyone down or making them mad or a leader helping others along.
I had gathered that much, but I don't suppose there's anywhere that lists the different situations each personality is more likely to bring about? James Casey
Friendship would mean that people get on well backstage and are unlikely to get into arguments, with each other. Any action taken regarding one (hiring, firing, disciplining) may affect the other if they're in yoru company as well. Loyalty usually comes from someone who owes something to another worker. HHH would be loyal to Shawn Michaels even if they weren't friends - the whole Kilq thing. You might use loyalty to represent a teacher/student relationship (although Mentor also covers that) but it's usually related more to someone who has stood by a worker through the years without necessarily gaining anything from it.
