D16NJD16
I havent been able to figure this out yet, in all my time playing I havent seen any instances where the details in the finishing moves section seem to matter (can cause blood, can be done onto a chair, can be done outside the ring, etc.) I never understood the point of this if there was no match commentary. Can somebody shed some light on this?
Malioc
I think(!), that it could matter for particular matches. Cause Blood -> Can finish First Blood matches On Chair -> Maybe leads to chair-including finish in a TLC or HC match Outside The Ring -> Falls Count Anywhere match But it's only a guess, because I never saw those kind of moves. On the other hand, I never did HC matches afaik.
Tom Bombadil
I imagine it would just affect the little match summaries, so you don't have something silly like somebody tapping out to a powerbomb or taking a sharpshooter through a table or something. Remianen
[QUOTE=D16NJD16;490044]I havent been able to figure this out yet, in all my time playing I havent seen any instances where the details in the finishing moves section seem to matter (can cause blood, can be done onto a chair, can be done outside the ring, etc.) I never understood the point of this if there was no match commentary. Otherwise, you'd have generic finishes like "X defeated Y in 11:42 when Y began to bleed" instead of "X defeated Y in 11:42 with , causing blood". Generally speaking, a human head impacting a steel chair tends to have a chance of causing a laceration, leading to blood loss. So, something like a Vertical Suplex Piledriver (aka Steiner Screwdriver) can be done outside, on a chair, through a table, and can cause blood (head meeting concrete). MrCanada
in general the whole new moves system is a waste of time. For mod makers especially. You have to go create every move and assign it to a moveset to assign to a person. Why? So you can get "blah blah beat blah blah at this time with this"? Who needs 10 different moves to do that? I preferred the old system. Now, if match write ups were in depth and took moves into consideration it would make sense, but for one sentance, why? Personally I miss the EWR days with the write-ups. Hell, WMMA has write-ups. But, I guess that's all up to Ryland.
Adam Ryland
As was mentioned around release time, some of the attributes are used to add colour to match finishes (blood, tables, etc) and the others are there primarily to ease a potential upgrade to the output engine in a future patch or game.
