3rd Quarter 1912, The unbelievable expansion of this waste of time and space that is called pro wrestling is astounding. I dedicated every waking moment, and every breath I have to the betterment of society, and the only thanks I get is the spit on my face from all the people who do not understand the dangers of letting this pass time grow. There are dangers around every corner people, why would we go out of our way to consider one of them entertainment? Smashing his way to the top of ELPH in 1910, Niko Olsen has been a competitor to watch on the European scene for several years now. Though the nick name lends and image of a heavy weight brawler, Niko is actually a lightweight technician, his motto, “we are all the same height in the vertical position.” On his back ELPH has become the second place promotion in Europe, and many believe that before the decade is out will grow to be the largest promotion in the region, as ELPH’s rate of growth currently out paces the more entrenched British promotion CWW. Niko’s future is bright and many wonder how long it will take before MHW finds a way to bring him out of Europe and to the biggest promotion in the world. Keep an Eye out for Niko Olsen, as a man with the top title in two promotions at once, the Bulls Eye on his back is growing bigger by the day.

1st Quarter 1913, The cold weather must have kept the crazys at home this winter, I refuse to believe that after a year of such unprecedented growth, that the wrestling industry would just stop expanding. That being said maybe it is just that the industry has reached such a size that any future growth will cause it to over extend and implode, if that is the case than for the first time ever I am rooting for the growth of the wrestling industry. I have grown weary of watching month after month as the world tears itself apart! Instead I will replace this column with an annual review Broken down by promotion, more than likely highlighting their best show. Updates will be based on promotion importance. Batch could not even get a try out with TEIR1, so he decided to start his own promotion. The Irony was that when he checked the talent pool he found more women than men, and decided that would be his hook. So now Miguel runs the best and only Women’s promotion in the world, and as such the behind the scenes money guy still goes unrecognized for his work in the business. As a side note, both WINNOW and TIER1 received one time cash injections of $200,000 each, from CWW owner Mario Evans. WINNOW still unable to get by on this additional funding has received an additional $300,000 for MHW’s Humberto Ortega in an effort to help the world of women’s wrestling. Many financial experts believe that no matter how much cash is poured into WINNOW it will eventually go the way of JPW. Though Pedro was the first ever BGB champ, his reign was due more to his real life friendship with owner Humberto Ortega, than his popularity with the fans. After loosing the belt to Eugenio Ortega in a match that would eventually lead to the ‘Civil War’ between Eugenio & Humberto, Pedro hooked up with D 2000 & El Perro Azul to form the Wild Dogs. WD ran rampant over the mid and under card of MHW and helped Eugenio Ortega keep the war alive for almost 17 months, until Humberto Reunited the federation and won control of the Wild Dogs in a match with his career on the line. The Wild Dogs disbanded shortly after the end of the war unwilling to bend to the will of a power hungry Humberto. It was about this time that Jamie Vaughn and John Bryant entered MHW and Pedro refusing to be over looked for his shot at the title stood up to both men. Who consequently both went on to taste gold again before Sanz. Pedro would have his day in the sun making a deal with H2O, that allowed Pedro to defeat Vaughn for the title. Pedro would pay for his hubiris though, 10 months latter, H2O revealed himself to be Hector Andres the first man Pedro had ever beaten in singles competition and demanded a shot at the BGB. One shot is all it took, Hector the upstart grabbed the title, and ever since Pedro has been lost, trying to find clear direction in his career.

Though no longer the top dog in the world of pro wrestling CWW still puts out great shows month after month. After trading the titles year after year Ron Hall & Mario Evans retired freeing the title for a new challenger to wear. The Iron of the war between Ron and Mario is at 6 reigns each, I am not sure we can ever say for sure who won the fued. What is certain is that Andrew Texas answered the call for a new champion, defeating Mario Evans in a Career vs Career match. Taylor Threat and Andrew Texas must now struggle to carry CWW, as with out it’s top draws, it remains to be seen how many fans will continue to show up for their events. Andrew Texas the British cowboy is on record as saying he will prove to the fans why Mario and Ron should have moved out of the way 5 years ago. As well I am sure Taylor Threat is waiting just out of view to get his hands on the most Prestigious title in the business! Finnally in 1913 Hector Andres defeated Humberto Ortega for a chance to get his revenge on Pedro Sanz and a shot at the BGB at the same time. 1915 Year-In Review Another year another new wrestling company. Queens of American Wrestling or QAW, brought the abomination that is womens wrestling to the American shores. Andrew’s loud mouth cowboy role has been toned down over the years. Andrew still has the hat and spurs but gone are the six shooters and wild action, replaced by a trench coat and a deck of cards. As the Gambling cowboy Andrew won the right to face Mario Evans one last time for the title. Kafaybe, Andrew killed Ron Hall in the match that led to Mario’s 6th reign as champ. Despite Mario’s better judgment Mario agreed to play a game of hi-lo with Andrew for a shot a his newly won title. Andrew Fixed the deck and capitalized on his shot, this time enlisting Taylor Threat to help Andrew take out Mario and win the gold. Andrew was the first new person to wear the gold in over a decade, as Mario and Ron had, had a strangle hold on the strap. How Ever Andrew Texas could not hold onto his newly won belt as Taylor Threat black mailed Texas into giving him a title shot and the better man (Taylor) Prevailed. A year latter Andrew would return the favor and rewin the title. It is now said that Andrew and Taylor may carry on the same kind of strangle hold over the title that Evans and Hall used too.
hi, great diary here, just woundering if you could post promotions title historys at the end of each year. thanks
seems a fair enough request, I post up the full histories, and see if I can keep updating that . Don't know that I will update it every year, but every other seems fair.

1916 Year-In Review It was the year of steroids, the abuse of this generally benign drug are running rampant. Veeti Dordevic, Juho Horak, Snyper & Chad Wright all fell on the wrong side of the dirty needle. This is just something that we can not stand idly by and watch destroy the world year after year! Even if you are a fan of this putrid sport, you must stand up against the hijacking of your past time by these over jacked freaks! That out of the way, 1916 saw WINNOW rise to regional, and the opening of the worlds third women’s Fed, CWWF – Canadian Women’s Wrestling Federation. And the final insult to injury TEIR1 picked up tv time in Japan to show recaps of their tour events. Retirements: *Roy Ramirez (164,10,152)

I want to say I am very excited about some things I am developing. 108 years is a long time, and I think I have glossed over a lot of it in my haste. So as requested I am going to be putting up title histories. but I needed to write a program so I would not have to format the tables, I must say it has gone much better than i could have hoped. I will say, this adam an export to text file for everything in this game would by highly appreciated! the rest of BPW's titles, up in the post above soon. I really kicked it into high gear, the text files now not only get kicked out into html by program, but it then aggregates them into one file I can cut and paste. next up is a project to post some of CWW's early cards up in Html. then we will resume our treck through 108 years of history!

The older federation has a much more international flair, and features a fast paced style. CAPW caters to a more reserved audience with classic wrestling and home grown talent. As well CAPW is the only fed in the world to feature both a men and women’s division. Thought CAPW faces stiff competition from CWWF for any womens wrestling fans in the great white north. When WINNOW broke on to the world stage most opponents said it was just a fade and would wither and die in a few months. Now almost every major area of wrestling has at least some sort of women’s wrestling. In Judith’s home country of Canada women have their own fed now, and are represented in all three Canadian companies. Judith Garofalo though a sweet lady out side the ring, is know as the b*tch to her opponents.
Nevermind.
Yeah the program that was Tie-ing it all together into one giant output file, has a bug in it. I don't have the time to find it right now, so I'm Going to post up most of it here and now, and hopefully tomorrow we have a return to regular updates (your mafia game was eating up to much of my time :p )

1917 Year-In Review Ding-Dong the wicked witch is dead! MHW bit the big one, with a ballooning budget that even their enormous crowds could not support. The biggest and fastest growing federation in the world rand head long into the brick wall of unemployment! I am sure that many inside the sport are crying themselves to sleep now that their dream or weekly television stardom has been dashed upon the rocks, but who cares! The MHW is dead! On a down note, CWW picked up a television time slot it’s new show “Bring the Pain.” And WDM and CAPW both rose to regional federations. But such is life we must take the ups with downs!
