Question about Overness and Angles

Recommended Posts

OK can a low overness grade lower the overall final grade of an angle even if the worker has good skills in the angle that you put him/her in. I just used one of my workers in a hype angle with him on the mic since he had good mic skill but his overness was not that great(figured this would help boost it up a little) and the final grade of the angle was only c+ where i figured it should have been at least a b. Could his low overness have affected that.

Overness is factored into *all* angles, regardless of what else it's rated on. An angle role rated on Overness obviously pays more attention to the overness than one based on Menace, for instance, but Overness is always at least a small factor. No matter how great he is on the microphone, if Mitch Ryder or Larry Sweeney walked out in the middle of Smackdown and cut a brilliant promo, the reaction to it would be mediocre at best, as most people would be thinking "who the hell is this guy?". But on the other hand, they would at least be more interested in Ryder/Sweeney afterwards, just as your guy almost certainly gained popularity too.
And of course, it always helps to have your less popular guy be seen hanging out with your big stars. Think of how much Evan Bourne got a rub tagging with Mysterio last Monday.
Just make sure to have the less popular guy on screen, but Not Rated - otherwise his lack of overness will drag the segment rating down.
