Well lets not work backwards... linking the players to a game that needs serious work isnt the way to go... Link this game to the NEW PRO FOOTBALL game arlie is gona do next is a better idea...LOL  Lets hear it ... TPF2
Personally I think for a first generation game the latest version of TPF is not that bad. It has some problems but overall it is good for a version 1 game. Have you tried the latest version 1.43 ? I would love to see BBCF tied to TPF until Arlie comes out with a new pro game. I probably wouldn't actually play the pro game out but It would be nice to follow BBCF players into the pros to see what happens. It may not be possible because of the split of .400 studios however.

Yea I know their wont be a TPF2 persay, what I ment to say is instead of trying to fit a round peg (BB) into a square hole (TPF) , since Arlie knows what he has with BB he can work forward and intergrate it into his next Pro game ( cross fingers ).
There will be no import from BBCF into TPF. We checked and it's just not worth the legal risk. From that, one could assume that a pro game could potentially be in the future of GDS once BBCF is out and completed.
The more important question will be whether or not existing TPF leagues will be able to upgrade to a GDS football game.

Yes, Bob's league is very nice and I was in it for a short time, I just not a big fictional league kind of guy. Self promotion is not silly, its why NFLsim is the best. The owners are preaty excitable and love the league, just read the boards you find lots of passion ( good and bad ) LOL Plus it has one very important thing most do not, the most infamous online football coach of all time.... The BFL was also formed before release but like all TPF leagues none were actually able to begin playing until about 2 months after release because of bugs in the multiplayer game. The BFL helped "beta test" the multiplayer related patches which gave us an opportunity to start before others.
