This diary is set as TNA from the beggining but with a few notable changes. First off it should be noted that I'm NOT using the original TNA Roster but rather building from scratch. Secondly I am NOT running a Weekly PPV System rather a 2 PPV a Month System until I land a Television Deal... Weekly PPV is a terrible idea. You will also notice Curt Hennig has appeared on the first show. This is due to the fact that well I just wanted Hennig on my roster. This company has been announced as a member of the NWA and will feature the NWA World Heavyweight Title as well as the NWA World Tag Team Titles as two of its main titles. Jeff and Jerry have also confirmed a non-NWA related belt known as the X-Division Title which will focus on a more athletic style but will be open to all weight classes. Jerry himself confirmed that many former Big Three talents will be featured in the new company. Jarrett also says there will be a One Night Four Team Tournament for the NWA World Tag Team Titles plus the beginning of the X-Division Title Tournament. Jarrett puts over the fact that most of the Tag Team Division and about half of the X Division is made up of superstars that have never been featured in front of a National Audience. Though i have always been a Hall fan and Henning getting a major title again since the AWA would be nice but i think the best move is on a talent that is proven he can handle the main event picture and Bagwell is to much of a risk. Glenn got in here how?Cause he is Jerrett's friend? Reminds me of Hogan/Beefcake lol. Danielson had a counter for a lot of Candido's early moves but Candido was able to take control of Danielson about five minutes into the match after hitting a sneaky low blow![/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [*][LEFT][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4]Candido kept control of the match by working on Danielson's left knee with Danielson only getting glimpses of offense (A dropkick, Hip Toss, German Suplex and other basic manuevers).[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [*][LEFT][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4]Candido seemed to have the match won whenever he locked in a Single Leg Boston Crab on the young Danielson but Danielson somehow made it to the bottom rope for a rope break. Candido began arguing with Mark Johnson which allowed Danielson some recovery time... by the time Candido turned around to finish the match Danielson had recovered. Danielson managed to Back Drop Candido out of the ring... Danielson then hit the ropes and as Candido was getting up to recover from the fall Danielson came through the ropes with a Suicide Dive.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [*][LEFT][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4]After both men were out on the outside Candido was able to get into the ring first. Danielson followed but was cut off by Candido with a kick to the gut... Candido then hit a Lyger Bomb on Danielson... Candido was only able to get 2 as Danielson rolled backward hit Candido with a quick dropkick. Candido gets up as Danielson charges and looks for a clothesline... Danielson ducks... Candido goes for a German Suplex... Danielson flips out of it and lands on his feet behind Candido.... He then moves onto Julio Dinero who he says is another talented wrestler who nobody has given credit for being one of the best in the world and as soon as one thing went wrong people forgot all about him. He then moves on to CM Punk who he says is his and Dinero's student and is a man whose life is based around a drug free lifestyle but is persecuted by people who are sinners themselves. Harris made AMW look really good early on by fighting off both Daivari and Siaki for the first two minutes... Storm got tagged in but the "A" Team were way to much for him and they were able to keep him grounded.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [*][LEFT][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4]Around the fifth minute of the match Storm was able to reverse a Double Clothesline attempt by the "A" Team into a clothesline to both men of his own. Storm tags out to Harris who comes in and cleans house on the "A" Team. Harris hit a Swing Slam on Siaki and looked to have the win until Daivari made the save. Siaki hit Harris with a STO for a two count. Storm made the save though and quickly hit Siaki with a Reverse DDT. Daivari however had recovered enough to make the save for his team. Daivari then threw James Storm out of the ring. Siaki had recovered from the Reverse DDT by this point and picked up Harris for a Back Suplex... Mid-Move however he turned it into a Wheelbarrow! At this point Daivari came in with a Diamond Cutter and sent Harris's Face straight to the canvas. It looked like they had the match won until a woman from the crowd jumped the rail and pulled the referee out of the ring. Spanky had Siaki pinned for quit some time but the referee was never able to count it. London finnally went to the outside of the ring and told the referee to get back into the ring. London attempted to tell the woman to get out but she started flirting with him and it was a distraction. Though i have always been a Hall fan and Henning getting a major title again since the AWA would be nice but i think the best move is on a talent that is proven he can handle the main event picture and Bagwell is to much of a risk. Glenn got in here how?Cause he is Jerrett's friend? Reminds me of Hogan/Beefcake lol.[/I] I of course put the belt on Jarrett. Proven Main Event heel and it is his company. :D. Hennig was my first choice but in the two months of gameplay before Glory Road he failed two drug tests. Hall is a good choice for the babyface chasing the gold. Bagwell is way too much of a risk right now but the new character I have him portrayed as (Hollywood kindaguy) could easily secure the belt with the right timing. Gilberti was put in there because I honestly had nobody else to fit into the Main Event Scene. Funk was put in the match at the last minute as a surprise. [I]Suicide Mission (Spanky and Paul London) vs. [B]Julio Dinero and CM Punk[/B][/I] [I]They are more established at this point in their careers. Trust me lol[/I] They most definitely were at that point in there career. I however went with Spanky and London because I wanted a Hardy Boys/Rockersish team as the cornerstone of my TNA Face Team Division. Dinero and Punk have big things coming but it may or may not involve the Tag Belts [I]The "A" Team (Shawn Daivari and Sonny Siaki) vs. [B]Americas Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm)[/B][/I] I can't stand AMW. There is my confession. Never did anything for me on the mic... ringwork is solid though. I kept them around because they are a good team and they were in the beginning of TNA. However I wanted a team of badass heels who were ****y and willing to do anything to win. This was estabilished in the finals when Siaki's Girlfriend debuted to help him win. [I]Since i don't know the first round matchups i don't feel safe making picks.[/I] I hope you liked the first round matches lol. [I]D.O.A.-Bischoff would be huge. Before he got involved with WWE to i think.[/I] Bischoff would have worked but I don't like Bischoff as a face which is what I honestly needed to counteract the Jarrett influence. Funk is old school and is the kind of guy I need to sometimes step into the picture to wrestle a match or two. FYI I started the game with only 6 roster members (Jeff, Jerry, Hall, Bagwell, Hennig and Jerry Lynn) and the rest of the roster members were picked up as time went along. I am honestly big on having someone like Bischoff or Jim Cornette or even Don Callis from ECW Fame as my DOA but I needed someone who can go in the ring in case Jeff Jarrett trys to overstep his boundaries. [/I] The Daniels, Punk and Dinero angle was easy... I honestly wanted Raven really bad for this angle so he could play super ultra Lonewolf Babyface to go against the evil Prophecy. Nothing says money like Raven doing cocaine in the back and Punk detesting it! Playing Jarrett as a baby ALWAYS works (Look at TNA right now) but I want the right timing for him to turn. I want to build him up as the biggest heel ever and then turn him when the timing is perfect. Not 100% sure what direction I am going with Hall. I know who I want to be champion a year from now gameplay wise but I am not sure if Hall is Title contender material. I just got done watching the first PPV and I must say this was a can't miss event. The whole event was packed with wrestling and storylines that flow together wonderfully. Eight matches in the course of two and a half hours with almost half of the roster being fresh faces and the other half are guys that were either underutilized by the big three (Gilberti, Bagwell and Hennig come to mind) or still have a few good years left (Hall and Jarrett). Terry Funk being announced as the Director of Authority is exciting in the sense that Funk is the counter-balance to Jarrett's evil plans.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=4]The new faces TNA has presented to a National audience excited us at the Wrestling Observer the most. The Tag Team Division has a lot of people talking and rumour has it the 4 teams on the Pay Per View aren't the only teams TNA will be featuring. The X-Division had plenty of excitement as well. Whether it was the Technical Masterpiece that shocked the world when rookie Bryan Danielson defeated Chris Candido or AJ Styles defeating Lenny Lane with a huge top rope Hurricanrana. The X-Division wasn't all smiles though as Jerry Lynn (Our favorite to win the entire Tournament) was taken out in the first round by Chris Daniels (With help from Prophecy Member CM Punk) and Scorpio beat young Canadian upstart Teddy Hart in less than 4 Minutes.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=4]The NWA World Heavyweight Title Match was excellent as well. All six men made this match feel like it was bigger than it was. Jeff Jarrett playing the "I will do anything to win" heel played perfectly against Hennig, Hall and Funk who were trying there best to do the right thing and win. Marcus Bagwell made himself a star in the match and throughout the show and shows promise of reaching a main event level sooner rather than later. Glenn Gilberti (Though not quit the threat he wants everyone to see him as yet) also shows potential to be a good wrestler as well. Hall chasing Jarrett out of the arena left the PPV on a bittersweet note as well.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [LEFT][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=4]TNA has already booked a second Pay Per View for the Third Sunday of July which is rumoured to take place in the Mid-Atlantic area. Also, if you're trying to build him up as big heel then the title on him is good. [B]Ron "The Truth" Killings[/B] vs. Marcus Bagwell Killings winning would set up a nice side feud between him and Bagwell as well setting up Killings for a title shot after Hall feud is over. AJ Styles vs [B]Bryan Danielson[/B] I like both of these guys as young wrestlers and think Danielson winning would be slightly different from the ways of the real TNA. [B]Christopher Daniels[/B] vs Scorpio I get the felling you like Scorpio or are using him as an established wrestler to get over the younger guys. That being said i am going with the "fallen angel" over him. [B]The "A" Team[/B] vs ??? I don't play the Vegas odds much. So picking a team i have no idea who they are is just against my better judgment. Daniels then kept the match at his own pace by grounding Scorpio with Scorpio only being able to fight back every once in a while with a quick move like a Dropkick or Head Scissors.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [*][LEFT][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4]Just when things started to look grim Daniels went up to the Top Turnbuckle and went for his "Best Moonsault Ever"... After this Scorpio hit Daniels with a Tornado DDT! At this point Scorpio went up to the top rope and looked like he would be going for a 450 Splash on Daniels. However Prophecy Member CM Punk got up on the apron and distracted Scorpio from hitting the move. The "A" Team begin to agree with this until the music of "PrimeTime" Elix Skipper hits. Skipper comes out on stage and says that his scheduled opponent was a no-show as well and he definitely needs a match after promising last month to all the TNA Fans he would debut this month! Lynn looks at Skipper for a minute and sizes him up. Daivari and Siaki left the ring as soon as Skipper and Lynn got into it so they could "gather themselves". While Siaki and Daivari were doing this Lynn and Skipper took both of them out with a nice synchronized suicide dive spot.[/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [*][LEFT][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4]After this the match began with Lynn and Daivari going head to head. Lynn took the role of the general of the match and made Daivari work hard to keep up with him. Skipper was then tagged in and worked over Daivari's arm for a minute until Daivari was able to tag out to Siaki. Skipper and Siaki did some quick move exchanges for a minute until Skipper tagged out to Lynn. Siaki was able to cut off Lynn as he was entering the ring with a legdrop to Lynn's neck. Siaki and Daivari then controlled most of the match's pace as they double teamed Lynn.[/SIZE][/FONT][/LEFT] [*][LEFT][FONT=Arial][SIZE=4]Lynn was able to tag out to Skipper however after rolling out of a Siaki suplex and delivering a neckbreaker on him. Skipper came in and began cleaning house but accidentally superkicked Lynn to the outside of the ring after Siaki ducked the kick attempt. This upset James Storm who went after Tammy... Candido then went after Storm... Funk then went over to where Gilberti was and decked him. Hall seemed to have the win and picked up Jarrett for the Outsiders Edge again until TWO MORE SECURITY GUARDS jumped into the ring and hit Hall with a double clothesline. Those security guards turned out to be Chris Candido and Lenny Lane. The referee of course was unable to see this as he was trying to take care of the Gilberti/Funk fight on the outside. Lane and Candido then took out Hall with a Double Suplex and put Jeff Jarrett ontop of Hall. Alexis Laree/Mickie James is already on the roster in developmental... here time will come soon. Other women I will be implementing eventually are Sable, Pamela Paulshock, Traci Brooks and of course Alexis Laree. That along with Tammy Sytch, Daffney and Tylene Buck make for a pretty awesome womens roster. When the time comes I am also going to implement a womans division... When the time comes. Any thoughts on the new Jarrett Stable? Lane and Candido make the perfect tag team while Gilberti is Jarrett's Lackey/Enforcer. Though i could see him and Bagwell taking each other out somehow and allowing Mathews to win. [B]Scott Hall, Terry Funk, Chris Harris and James Storm[/B] vs. Jeff Jarrett, Lenny Lane, Chris Candido and Glenn Gilberti Hall lost his title shot. There for in the world of wrestling he is suppose to win the match afterwards. Only makes sense in wrestling where nothing makes sense. Also, the good guys need win once in a while. Now whether i be by DQ or pinfall i don't know. But they will come out on top. Bryan Danielson vs. [B]Cristopher Daniels[/B] I see him winning with help. Keeping the title off of people another PPV is good story wise but won't help it's prestige. Spanky and ??? vs. [B]The "A" Team (Daivari and Siaki)[/B] This is what i wanted last month lol. However the injury to London sucks. I dunno, but if this keeps up much longer wrestlers, especially faces may be scared to sign with TNA. First Henning passes away and now London gets hurt. Like the Jarrett group. I did say Glenn was friends with Jarrett so it makes sense from a backstage point of view lol. Keep up the great work.
