blslivewire
Do fighters who have yet to reach their prime (or any fighter) improve in their skills at all? If so, does throwing them jobbers to pad their records help at all or is it better to match them against fighters at their skill level or higher? samuricex
The fighters are ALWAYS gaining skills, and they don't start losing skill until you see the "so-and-so talks about declining abilities" article on Blurcat. To me it seems like guys gain more skills the more wins they get. So definitely feed and pad the guys who look like they have a future, and trash the guys who you know will suck so they retire sooner. Just remember though, a guy could be 20-0 and have excellent popularity and still not be able to put on a Massive quality fight if he's never beaten good opponents though. And in MMA we call them "cans", not "jobbers". :D
grits207
I have had plenty of guys who have started off their careers as crappy fighters and a couple years later they are contenders.
