dnmt Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 Could I add enough event in the "Events" section of the editor in order to have a certain promotion run a certain number of events in the month without setting them up as a touring promotion and having them take 2 months off? It'd be very costly for it to happen, and if you weren't playing as that promotion, it'd still create a single event for the off months. mike b Posted October 5, 2008 Share Posted October 5, 2008 I don't see why not i did.I'm playing ppw in Tommy's WOTI mod and i had 5 events in one month,1 PPV,4 TV show cards and 1 reg house show.Also i believe in the 91 mod the wwf had like 5 events in one month also similar to mine. This is what their average schedule looks like: For the month of August: [B]8/4/08[/B] 90-minute long show around 300-500 fans in attendance no title matches, no major matches could be classified as a house show [b]8/5/08[/b] *see description of 8/4 [b]8/6/08[/b] *see description of 8/4 [b]8/7/08[/b] *see description of 8/4 [b]8/8/08[/b] *see description of 8/4 [b]8/17/08[/b] *see description of 8/4 [b]8/31/08[/b] 2 hour show 1,400 fans in attendance major matches/title matches bigger arena taped for TV show, NOT LIVE So, based on this schedule, what I'm looking to do is set the AI up with a schedule that would hold 4-6 "house" shows, and 1 or 2 larger shows that are taped for a television show. Midnightnick Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 Even with all the details done to suit the Japanese scene, it's still hard to get the smaller Indy promotion styles ready. If you were running a promotion like DDT, I'd go and have the 8/4 through 8/17 shows be set at a Small level, then for 8/31, you set the event for the largest the promotion can be run at. Since TEW uses Week 1, and Monday and all of that. It'd be Thursday Week 1 90 Minute Small Show Friday Week 1 90 Minute Small Show Saturday Week 1 90 Minute Small Show Sunday Week 1 90 Minute Small Show Monday Week 2 90 Minute Small Show Wednesday Week 3 90 Minute Small Show Sunday Week 4 2 Hour Medium (or whatever the largest size show you can run) Show You can't really replicate the TV Show taping, and if you do a normal promotion and not a touring one and get a show. You have to book the show like you would any normal TV Show. Touring TV Shows would be just highlights from the tour, so you don't need to worry about them.
