gazwefc83
If someone is doing a stint in prison when setting up a mod how would you get around this? The only way I can think of is to set the workers debut date to the date of his release
benjacko
Either that or set it as a injury for the duration of the sentence. Could also just leave them on Hiatus.

I mean wouldn't the game block that worker from having won belts in the past due to the fact he hadn't (game wise) debuted yet?

If they have titles you would want to go with "prison" injury or I think Hiatus would be best.
rodzillahotrod
yea but hiatus could last a lot longer then expected i say injurys the best... i never set them up but i know for some reason im not sure if its required to have a hurt body part to be a injury but a lot of people make it like that like i just had scott steiner have a injury because of family death and his legs we're at yellow which annoyed me i say if u don't have to do that then don't but im not sure. but definitionally go with injury no matter what
I Rule Me
yea but hiatus could last a lot longer then expected i say injurys the best...
you can always edit it in the game. You could set them as inactive.
BurningHamster
Yeah, an injury would be the best way to go to have someone unavailable for a specific time but still not mess with title history. I still find having an injury called "temporary retirement" to be a far better way of simulating a worker like Terry Funk being out of a mod but returning to action than just about any other method, at least in terms of keeping someone unavailable for any length of time. People can come back from hiatus insanely fast at times and never at other times.
gazwefc83
Iv decided to alter there debut date as it doesnt same 2 cause an error with title historys and put on there bio - recently released from prison
rodzillahotrod
did u make sure by starting a new game? or running the test thing?
RobTaylor
injury is the most realistic way, as you can programme the sentence plus time to get in ring shape after release... for a 2 year sentence, it would be at least 27 months to allow 3 months of getting in shape... bobinc
I disagree, you can't have a "prison injury" include time to get back to shape, ring rust is programmed into the game. I also think an injury could be bad as it could effect their skills/well being where as a debut will not. I think debut is the best way to go with this if you know how long they are out (older mods probably) because if they are still in jail then hiatus should be used as you don't really know when they will get it out. It could be sooner or even later behavior depending. You could also compensate for any skill lost via the skill editor as it shouldn't change until their debut. add: plus a debut stops promotions from signing them as they are not in the world. gazwefc83
did u make sure by starting a new game? or running the test thing?
Yes a ran a test and the game started with no errors
injury is the most realistic way, as you can programme the sentence plus time to get in ring shape after release... for a 2 year sentence, it would be at least 27 months to allow 3 months of getting in shape...
The problem with having it as an injury also is that other wrestlers can then pick up this 'injury' and it just doesnt seem right in the game Just incase your wondering the workers im talking about are Ken Petera and Massa Siato
