WCW and Eric Bischoff was saved by Fuscient Media Ventures, Inc. FMV bought WCW, and saved the company from WWF destruction. Eric Bischoff has been named President of WCW once again, but they brought in a new head booker. His name is.....JACK BAUER? Whoever heard of this guy? He's the new booker of WCW, will there be any changes to the company? We at PWI will follow WCW through "The Rebirth".

PWI.com Excerpt on WCW.com! What an amazing Monday Night it was. Sting began his 7th reign as World Champion. That puts him one reign ahead of The Rock on the Most World Championship Reigns list. Ric Flair still leads with 16, but Hulk Hogan has 11, that puts him 5 reigns back. WCW President, Eric Bischoff and WCW Head Booker, Jack Bauer has announced on tonight's edition of WCW Thunder that Ric Flair will battle "Hollywood" Hogan for a shot at Sting (or the WCW World Champion at that time)'s title at WCW's next Pay-Per-View. Sting will face DDP in a WCW World Heavytweight Championship match. Also announced is Kevin Nash vs. Jeff Jarrett. Totally Buff will also defend the WCW World Tag Team Championship in a special reunion of HARLEM HEAT!!!!
