Total Non Stop Action Wrestling-The Wrestling Alternative!

Recommended Posts

October 2005: We have made it. The first Spike TV broadcast for Impact. The wrestling world is buzzing, indeed, after many years of false starts, TNA will hopefully become a successful number two. Althrough TNA still has their problems. Jeff Jarrett is once again NWA Hevayweight Champion and is going to feud with Kevin Nash. However, the X-Division made be at it's peak, with stars such as Champion AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Matt Bentley, Petey Williams, Chris Sabin, Elix Skipper, Alex Shelley, and many others. Also, Japan's Jushin Thunder Liger will be coming in for Bound for Glory. Plus the tag team ranks seem to be heating up as well. With the champions the Naturals, America's Most Wanted, Team Canada, the Three Live Kru, the newly debuting Team 3D(formally the Dudley Boys), Simon Diamond's Diamonds in the Rough, Apolo and Siaki, Mikey Batts and Jerelle Clark, and more to come, TNA looks to be having some great tag team wrestling in the next few months. Then there is the Heavyweight Division. We have names with previous experience in other companies such as Champion Jarrett, Raven, Kevin Nash, Sabu, Rhino, Sean Waltman, Kip James and Jeff Hardy. Also in this division, the future in TNA would have to be Monty Brown. Plus other stars such as Abyss, Bobby Roode, and Lance Hoyt(who has gained a cult following in the Impact Zone in Orlando), TNA could have some decent Heavyweight Wrestling but the bread and butter in TNA would have to be the X-Division and to an extent, the Tag Team Division. The first impact featured: AJ Styles pinning Roderick Strong Monty Brown defeating Lex Lovett Chris Sabin over Petey Williams and Alex Shelley in a three way dance. Jeff Hardy defeating Rhino by disqualification after interference from Abyss. Sabu made the save, setting up the Monster's Ball II at Bound for Glory. Also Kevin Nash was announced as the number one contender for the TNA World Title at Bound for Glory. We will not be stopped now, this is Total Non Stop Action Wrestling, the new face in wrestling entertainment. Monday Week One October 2005 Big news coming out of Japan today as Toshiaka Kawada captured the All Japan Triple Crown Title from Sotoshi Kojima. Kawada is a multi time Triple Crown Champion, this reign would be his sixth as Triple Crown Champion, a record for AJPW. Also on Raw, in a match that wrestling fans will be talking about for years to come, Viscera defeated Chris Masters. Now that's entertainment. :D Tuesday Week One October 2005 TV Taping time. Impact from Universal Studios as per usual. Through the rumor mill, TNA may be branching out for other locations for Pay Per Views in 2006. Impact Taping Tuesday Week One October 2005(to Air Saturday Week One October 2005 on Spike TV) 2,000 People are in attendence today at the Impact Zone. We start out with a little dark match to hype up the crowd. The Diamond's in the Rough Members, Simon Diamond, David Young, and Elix Skipper defeated The Amazing Red, Sonjay Dutt, and Shark Boy in a high flying six man tag team match when Simon pinned Sonjay Dutt with a roll up, using the ropes for leverage. The crowd was restless during this match. C+ rating for this match, as it was decent but the crowd killed it. 3LK did a little mic work, hyping up there match against Team Canada but this segment appeared to be a downer for the crowd. Only a C- rating for this one. 3LK members Konnan and BG James defeated Team Canada's A1 and Eric Young when Konnan pins Young after a Crucifix Sitout Power Bomb. BG James happened to be a little off tonight for some reason. This match was average, let's say about C+. Kip James is backstage and he has a bone to pick with a certain superstar by the name of Lance Hoyt. Kip James says it irks him how the crowd chants "Hoyt, Hoyt, Hoyt" like "a bunch of sheep". Kip offers Hoyt some advice. Sure, he may be popular now, but Kip James was once a favorite of the crowd but once he stopped catering to the fans, his career took off. Kip James challenges Hoyt to a match at Bound for Glory to beat some sense into him. B- Rating. Raven is looking for Jeff Jarrett, wanting his NWA Heavyweight Title Match but he runs right into Monty Brown. Monty says that if anyone gets a title shot, it will be him and anyone in his way will feel the pounce. Raven dares Monty to attack him and Monty does with Raven fighting back. Road Agents and other wrestlers pull Raven and Monty Brown apart as Raven yells this isn't over. C+ Rating. Christopher Daniels won a three way X-Division Match against Austin Aries and Matt Bentley when Daniels pins Aries with the Angel's Wings in 6:38 AJ Styles joins the announcers for some commentary during this match, as Christopher Daniels will face AJ Styles in a thirty minute Iron Man Match at Bound for Glory. B- rating for this great high flying X-Division Match. A well produced piece, introducing Jushin Thunder Lyger, to the TNA fans is shown. Lyger will debut as part of Bound for Glory. A rating for this great video package. We now have a backstage segment, with Kevin Nash stepping into Jeff Jarrett's lockeroom. Nash remarks that the lockeroom is a mess and he cleans up a little bit, finding the NWA Heavyweight Title Belt in Jarrett's gym back. Nash remarks that he will hold onto the belt for safe keeping so it doesn't get lost in the clutter of Jarrett's lockeroom. Nash walks off with the belt. B rating for this segment. Jarrett cuts a great promo, promising to retire Kevin Nash once and for all at Bound for Glory. During this promo, the segment that we saw moments ago with Nash taking the belt out of Jarrett's gym bag was shown with Jarrett going ballastic and promising to make Nash pay. A* segment for this. Abyss destroyed Sonny Siaki in 3:48, finishing him off with the Black Hole Slam. This match was a let down from the previous segments. Abyss will be part of the Monster's Ball Match at Bound for Glory. C+ rating for this match. James Mitchell gets on the microphone, declaring if Sabu was here, he'd have Abyss make him pay for saving Jeff Hardy last week. The lights go out and wouldn't you know it, Sabu is here. Sabu attacks Abyss with a chair and lays out Mitchell with an Arabian Facebuster. C+ Segment Team 3D made their TNA debuts, beating America's Most Wanted by disqualification in 3:45 when Gail Kim made her debut, catching Devon with a low blow. Team Canada soon joined the fun after this B rated match, helping beating up Team 3D. Team Canada and AMW beat down Team 3D but the Naturals run out with chairs. We are out of time as this C Segment ends. B- show over all and this show may have hurt our popularity. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. No other news in the World of Wrestling. Wednesday Week One, October 2005 No major news in the world of wrestling. Thursday Week One, October 2005 In the NOAH promotion in Japan, Tatsumi Fujinami has been named the new head booker. Friday Week One, October 2005 Kazuki Miyamoto defeated Taichi Ishikara to capture the newly created AJPW TV Title. Also Kawada beat Kojima for his first Triple Crown Title defense in a rematch from Last Monday. Also CW Anderson captured the Z1 United National Heavyweight Title in Zero One Wrestling. Saturday Week One, October 2005 On Impact tonight, 1,048, 990 people turned in to view Impact on Spike TV. And next week's main event will be Jeff Hardy and Sabu against Abyss and Rhino in a preview for the Monster's Ball Match at Bound for Glory. Sunday Week One, October 2005 Colt Cabana has captured the IWC Heavyweight Title from Matt Cross at tonight's show. At tonight's WWE No Mercy, we have a new World Heavyweight Champion. Eddie Guerrero has defeated Batista to capture the World Heavyweight Title. In other title news, Chris Benoit defeated Christian to retain the United States Title and Heidenreich and Animal retained their WWE Tag Team Titles against the thrown together team of Matt Hardy and Hardcore Holly. (And there's week one. As I move further on, TNA will become more and more booked towards my vision, as this week's Impact was similar to the Real Life Impact. I am going to post like this, a week at a time. Until next time...)

Impact Tapings for Tuesday Week Two October 2005, To Air this Saturday We are once again from the Impact Zone in Orlando with 2,000 people in the house. In a special match to warm up the crowd, Alex Shelley and Matt Bentley defeated Jerelle Clark and Mikey Batts when Bentley pins Batts with the Sweet Shane Music in 8:31. Standard X-Division fare between these two teams. C Rating for this match. X-Division opened up Impact Proper as Chris Sabin pins Elix Skipper after the Future Shock in 7:29. Unfortunately, the fans at the Impact Zone appeared restless despite these two fine competitors giving it their all. Sabin will be featured in Ultimate X. C+ Rating. The Naturals are backstage meeting with fans when AMW assault them from behind, using the Naturals own tag team title belts to bust them open. AMW say they are the real NWA Tag Team Champions and spit on the fallen champions to end this C+ Rating. Monty Brown cuts an intense promo, promising to take Raven out to the Sarengetti at Bound for Glory and leave him for dead. Raven will feel the pouncce...period. Usual good work from the Alpha Male. B- Rating. Samoa Joe defeated Austin Aries with the Kojita Clutch in 8:23. The history between these two men were laid out, as Austin Aries ended the long title reign of Joe in Ring of Honor last year. They didn't have enough time to fully get the crowd into it, due to television time constraits, therefore only a C+ Rating. Scott D' Amoure and Team Canada throw down a challenge from Team 3D for a match at Bound for Glory. If it is accepted, it will be A-1 and Eric Young against Brother Ray and Brother Devon. C+ Rating. Monty Brown destroyed Cassidy Riley with the Pounce in 0:33. This match had a bit of a story, as Cassidy worships Raven and wants a piece of Monty Brown for badmouthing him. The Pounce put an end to that idea. C Rating Larry Zybzyko announces the NWA Tag Team Titles will be at stake at Bound for Glory with the Naturals against America's Most Wanted. C+ Rating. Jeff Jarrett is in the ring and he demands that Nash return the NWA WOrld Title Belt. Nash struts out, saying that if Jarrett wants the belt, he can fight for it. Nash steps into the ring and Jarrett attempts to attack Nash but Nash ducks and big boot to the head, knocking Jarrett out. Nash drops the belt on Jarrett's chest and remarks that he will come for the gold come Bound for Glory. A Rating. Lance Hoyt defeated Petey Williams via disqualification when Kip James interefered and attacked Lance Hoyt with a baseball bat in 7:24. Hoyt had the match in hand but Kip James interfered, assaulting Hoyt with a bat. Hoyt fell down, clutching his ribs, a risk for injury high, no doubt. C Rating. James Mitchell, on behalf of Abyss, threatened horror for the other three men in the Monster's Ball Match, come Bound for Glory. C+ Rating. Rhino and Abyss defeated Sabu and Jeff Hardy when Rhino countered a mid air Jeff Hardy leap with the Gore in 9:57. This match was a pretty decent brawl, the match of the evening. The Gore spelled the end to Jeff Hardy. After the match, Abyss and Rhino stared down but nothing came of it. B- Rating. C+ Overall Rating for this show. Week Three October 2005(Bound for Glory Week!) Monday No news for Monday. Tuesday It's that time of the week again, time for some TNA Wrestling Action on Impact. Impact taped Tuesday Week Three October 2005 to air Saturday of the Same Week, in the Same Month, in the Same Year in the Same Universal Studios at the Same Impact Zone As usual, we have a warm up match involving the X-Division. Alex Shelley won a Four Way, the X Way Match against Shark Boy, Sonjay Dutt, and Elix Skipper when Shelley pinned Sonjay with the Shell Shock in 14:57. This match was exclusive to the fans at the arena that day. C+ Rating for this Fine Match. Impact Opened up with a bang as Chris Sabin defeated Christopher Daniels with a roll up after a distraction from AJ Styles in 6:41. These two fine athletes packed a lot into a short match. Daniels will face Styles in a Thirty Minute Iron Man Match at Bound for Glory and Sabin shall be part of Ultimate X. B- Rating for this match. Simon has a problem but before he can get too far, the 3LK interrupts him for a little impromptu tag team action. C+ Rating. Konnan and BG James defeated Simon Diamond and David Young when Konnan pinned David Young with a Crucifix Sitout Power Bomb in 2:57. Usual fare. David Young loses again, per usual and Simon berates him after the match. The Diamonds of the Rough must get it together if they are to win their Young Lions challenge at Bound for Glory. C+ Rating. Petey Williams calls himself Canada's Best X-Division Wrestler and hypes up Utlimate X for Bound for Glory. C Rating. Gail Kim had a video shown, where she challenged any female wrestler in the world to a match at Bound for Glory. B- Rating. Jeff Hardy defeated Mexico's Shocker via disqualification after Rhino and Abyss assaulted Jeff Hardy in 2:36. A few good moves throughout this match but Abyss and Rhino beat Hardy to a pulp for the Disqualficiation. B- Rating. Rhino and Abyss continued their beating when the lights go out and Sabu comes out, attacking both Rhino and Abyss. Jeff Hardy and Sabu staredown as all four of these men will be part of the Monster's Ball Match this Sunday. B- Rating. Team 3D cut a promo, promising to breeze through Team Canada at Bound for Glory and if Scott D' Amoure gets in their way, they will put him through a table. Testify Brother Devon! C Rating. America's Most Wanted and Kip James defeated The Naturals and Lance Hoyt when Chris Harris pinned Andy Douglas after tagging him with the tag title belt in 7:53. Two matches hyped up for Bound for Glory in one nice little segment. Harris used the gold to knock out Andy Douglas, a sign of things to come perhaps, if that happens this Sunday, AMW could very well become for the seventh time, NWA Tag Team Champions. B- Rating. Monty Brown promises the slow and painful destruction of Raven and then it is on to the NWA World Championship. B Rating. Rhino defeated Apolo by disqualification after Jeff Hardy attacked him with a chair in 1:07. Rhino gets knocked out by a couple of vicious shots by that chair, which will be legal this Sunday in the Monster's Ball. Jeff brings out a ladder but Abyss comes out and attacks Jeff Hardy, taking him down the Black Hole Slam. Abyss chokes Jeff Hardy out with his chain but Rhino is out and Rhino takes Abyss down with the Gore. The lights are off and Sabu is in but Rhino is ready and Gore to Sabu. Jeff Hardy is up and Gore to Jeff Hardy. Rhino stands tall in the ring. B Rating. In another note, both these men have good chemistry so perhaps a longer match between the two could be in the cards for a future TNA card. AJ Styles and Raven defeated Monty Brown and Jeff Jarrett when AJ Styles pinned Jeff Jarrett with the Styles Clash after a Kevin Nash distraction in 10:34. Perhaps the best match in the history of Impact, whether it be, FSN, Internet, or Spike TV. Nash did some commentary on this match but only distracted Jarrett when Jarrett had Styles down. Raven and Monty brawled on the floor during this and Styles dropkicked Jarrett from behind and finished him off with a sunset flip into the Styles Clash. Nash entered the ring and taunted Jarrett as Impact went off the air after this A* Rated Match. B- Rating for this show, as we didn't have enough angles for the fans liking. Final Bound For Glory Card: NWA World Title Match: Kevin Nash vs Jeff Jarrett(c) Winner Receives a World Title Shot at Genesis(the November Pay Per View): Monty Brown vs Raven Monster's Ball II: Jeff Hardy vs Rhino vs Abyss vs Sabu TNA X-Division Title Thirty Minute Iron Man: Christopher Daniels vs AJ Styles(c) Jushin Thunder Lyger vs Samoa Joe NWA Tag Team Title Match: The Naturals vs America's Most Wanted(c) Ultimate X: Chris Sabin vs Matt Bentley vs Petey Williams Team Canada vs Team 3D Bobby Roode vs Ron Killings Kip James vs Lance Hoyt The Diamonds in the Rough(Simon, Elix, and Young) vs Roderick Strong, Shark Boy, and Cassidy Riley in a Special TNA Young Lions Showcase Match Gail Kim vs Any Female in the World. Alex Shelley vs Austin Aries(Pre Game Show) Also Jeff Hardy and BG James arrived late at the arena so I pulled a Johnny Ace and fined their punk asses. Wednesday No News Items for today, unless you count, TNA being in negoiations with several casualities of the July 2005 WWE house cleaning. Nothing concrete yet but one of the wrestlers could be a major player in the X-Division and two will have some role in the main event storylines if all goes as plan. One of them, if all goes to plan, will make his debut at Bound for Glory. Thursday No news today with noting. Seems to be a slow newsweek other than the TNA Pay Per View this Sunday. Friday Tonight at the Ring of Honor event, Low Ki beat Bryan Danielson to capture the ROH Championship. Saturday No news today Bound for Glory will be posted later(most likely early next week at the latest, tommorow at the earliest) in a seperate post as it is a Pay Per View and it deserves it's own post. The Final Card is: NWA World Title Match: Kevin Nash vs Jeff Jarrett(c) Winner Receives a World Title Shot at Genesis(the November Pay Per View): Monty Brown vs Raven Monster's Ball II: Jeff Hardy vs Rhino vs Abyss vs Sabu TNA X-Division Title Thirty Minute Iron Man: Christopher Daniels vs AJ Styles(c) Jushin Thunder Lyger vs Samoa Joe NWA Tag Team Title Match: The Naturals vs America's Most Wanted(c) Ultimate X: Chris Sabin vs Matt Bentley vs Petey Williams Team Canada vs Team 3D Bobby Roode vs Ron Killings Kip James vs Lance Hoyt The Diamonds in the Rough(Simon, Elix, and Young) vs Roderick Strong, Shark Boy, and Cassidy Riley in a Special TNA Young Lions Showcase Match Gail Kim vs Any Female in the World. NWA TNA Bound for Glory only on Pay Per View. Sunday Week Three October 2005 Pre Game Show had a pretty decent X-Division Match. Alex Shelley pinned Austin Aries with the Shell Shock in 15:40. Something happened which caused these two not to click. Alex Shelley should be getting a pretty decent push and this was the start of it. C- Rating for this match. To start up Bound for Glory proper, a video package detailing the history of NWA TNA is shown. Mostly X-Division action but a few other highlights. B- Rating. Ron Killings pinned Bobby Roode with the True Conviction in 6:57. Match didn't have much time to get going but both men were put over as two future contenders to the TNA World Title and whomever won this match would get a huge boost up the rankings. That happened to be Killings on this night but Roode gave him a tough fight before going down. C+ Rating. Daniels cuts a promo, promising that beat AJ Styles tonight and win the X-Division Title for the second time. B+ Rating. The Diamonds in the Rough over Shark Boy, Roderick Strong, and Cassidy Riley when David Young pinned Cassidy with the Spinebuster in 4:47. The crowd is in awe as David Young, the man with the worst won loss record in TNA history, has scored the pin at the grandest stage of it all. Simon Diamond of course takes credit for the win, leading some some dissension between the Diamonds in the Rough. C+ Rating. Lance Hoyt defeated Kip James by countout when James turned tail and ran in 5:59. Hoyt had Kip's number and the fans at the Impact Zone chanted for their hero but Kip James decided to run to fight another day and Lance Hoyt wins by countout, no doubt receiving the biggest win in his short career over a former multi time WWE Tag Team Champion. C+ Rating. Gail Kim is in the ring, repeating her open challenge but who should answer but former Tough Enough Champion Jackie Gayda. Kim laughs off her challenge saying she challenged any wrestler in the world, not pointless eye candy. On this note, Charlie Haas enters the ring behind Gail Kim and drops her on her head with a vicious German Suplex. Haas has arrived in TNA! Haas gets on the microphone, saying that he has been looking to come to TNA for quite some time and he is here for one reason. That is that NWA World Heavyweight Title Belt currently held by Jeff Jarrett. Haas says that if he gets into the ring with Jarrett, Haas will roll right over Jarrett. Charlie Haas concludes by saying that he hopes Jarrett got the message after he took out one of Jarrett's handpicked cronies tonight. B Rating. A look at both Jushin Thunder Lyger and Samoa Joe in a video package is shown. B Rating. In a pretty good match, Samoa Joe made Jushin Lyger submit to the Kojita Clutch in 20:04. Both men went strike for strike, submission hold for submission hold in this match but Joe's Kojita Clutch proved the end for Lyger. Handshake after the match. B Rating. Jeff Jarrett is shown ranting and raving backstage, about Charlie Haas showing up in his world, "Planet Jarrett" without his express permission. Jarrett says that if Haas wants to invade his world, he will have to pay the price. Jarrett vows that he will take care of Nash and then he will call in a couple of favors and bring in someone to take care of Charlie Haas because Haas is not worth his time. A Rating. Team 3D defeated Team Canada when Brother Ray Deadly defeated Eric Young with the Deadly Destruction Drop in 5:50. Pretty cut and dry match, it was to give Team 3D some time to dominate a match on TNA Pay Per View. Rated C+ A look at the Monster's Ball Match. B- Rating. Abyss won the Monster's Ball Match over Sabu, Jeff Hardy, and Rhino when Abyss pinned Jeff Hardy with the Black Hole Slam onto Thumbtacks in 10:47. This match had it all. Tables, Ladders, Chairs, kendo sticks, glass, thumbtacks, and even the Kitchen Sink. In the end, it was Abyss after Rhino had taken both himself and Sabu out of the match with a Super Piledriver through a table at ringside, hitting the Black Hole Slam and impaling Jeff Hardy with thumbtacks. James Mitchell raises the hand of Abyss, laughing evilly. B Rating. A hype up for Ultimate X is shown, showing some of the highlights from the history. C Rating. Matt Bentley won Ultimate X VIII defeating Chris Sabin and Petey Williams after catching Sabin with a Superkick from the highwires and knocking him to his doom in 14:57. The bar was raised in this match, as Bentley, Williams, and Sabin proved why the X-Division has some of the best wrestling in the world. It was Bentley grabbing the briefcase in the middle of the wires, which contained a contract for an X-Division Title Shot at Genesis in it. B- Rating. AMW and the Naturals are hyped up in Video Package form. C Rating. America's Most Wanted captured their seventh NWA Tag Team Titles defeating the Naturals after Chris Harris pinned Andy Douglas after James Storm reversed a small package into a pin in 18:21. These two teams tore the house down once again but the controversal finish, with the Naturals having the match won but then AMW snatching it away from them, would no doubt merit a rematch in the future. B- Rating. The history of Jeff Jarrett and Kevin Nash is shown leading up to their NWA World Heavyweight Title Match. Jeff Jarrett retained his NWA World Heavyweight Title pinning Kevin Nash after using his ever present guitar as a weapon to counter the Jackknife Power Bomb in 9:51. The crowd got into this match, even through it was a tad bit overbooked. Interference from Team Canada, Kip James, Team 3D, America's Most Wanted, the 3LK, and the Naturals during various points in this match but it looked like Nash was going to wrap this match up but Jarrett has the guitar and countered the Jack Knife with the guitar shot, splintering the wood of Nash's head to score the pin and retain the title. A Rating. A video package is shown detailing the history between Monty Brown and Raven is shown. B+ In one of the most brutal matches in TNA Wrestling History where a wrestler did not even pick up a weapon, Raven and Monty Brown battled to a double disqualification after both been beat on each other in the ropes despite repeated warnings from the referees to stop in 15:17. The referee had finally got sick of blantant disregard of rules, which liberal closed fisted punching and choking from both men so the match was thrown out but the question remains, what beomces of the title shot at Genesis. Raven got Pounced as he went after the referee for making this call and the referee used this to split. A Rating for this classic match. The long history between Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles is revisted in video package form. B- Rating. AJ Styles retained his TNA X-Division Title over Christopher Daniels in a Thirty Minute Iron Match Match in 30:00. The final score was 3-2, with Daniels scoring two falls in succession with the Last Rites and the BME respectively but Styles coming back with a duel pin after a Super Styles Clash. The last five minutes had the Malenko/Guerrero roll up sequences with Styles coming up on top with a Victory Roll with just four seconds to spare. Daniels attempted to score a quick pin with a schoolboy but the time expired. A few dead spots, but a passable match never the less. B+ Rating. B- Rating overall for this great Pay Per View. Early estimates state that 267, 359 people purchased Bound for Glory.

Week Four October 2005 Monday No news for today. Tuesday We head to Orlando as we have three weeks to build up our next TNA Pay Per View, Genesis. Impact Tuesday Week Four October 2005, to air Saturday Week Four October 2005. We had not one but two dark matches this week on Impact. The first match featured Elix Skipper and David Young over Jerelle Clark and Mikey Batts when Elix pinned Jerelle Clark with the Sudden Death in 6:48. Average tag team match, match received a C Rating. Rhino pinned Apolo with the Gore in 8:34. Pretty good Heavyweight Match, with Apolo nearly scoring the upset on Rhino a couple of times but the Gore did Apolo in for the pin. B- Rating. Jeff Jarrett is in the ring to kick off Impact proper, gloating about his title win. Jarrett says that he has the month off for Genesis due to no number one contender. Jarrett makes reference to Charlie Haas but then declares him "below his notice", which brings out an eranged Haas. Haas says he only needs one title match but Jarrett says that he has brought in someone to take care of this little problem. On cue, Matt Morgan enters the ring, attacking Charlie Haas from behind. Matt Morgan beats down Haas to a pulp before knocking him out with a vicious kick to the face. Jarrett introduces Morgan as his new bodyguard and says that no one will mess with Jarrett now. B Rating. TNA X-Division Champion AJ Styles defeated the returning Jimmy Yang in a non title match with the Styles Clash in 5:57. This was non title because this was Jimmy Yang's first TNA match in nearly three years. Good match, lots of nearfalls but Styles proved why he is a multitimed champion by beating Yang to end this B+ Rated match. Matt Bentley interrupts the aftermath of Styles celebrating. Bentley thanks Styles for holding on to "his X-Division Title". Bentley calls himself the King of the Ultimate X Match and says come Genesis, he is going to become the X-Division Champion once again. Bentley hopes that Styles enjoys his remaining few weeks with the belt because it is coming to Matt Bentley. C Rating. The 3LK are standing by backstage. The time for joking is done.
