falling_star Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Does it ever happen? I've played over a year into my first game over the past couple days an I've never had anyone not make weight. I haven't seen anyone fail to make weight for another promotion either. Has it happened to anyone? How do you have to deal with it if it does?
Mr_Tricky Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I had one guy not make weight, he was big for his weight class and I scheduled the fight on short notice, I think that's the only way it happens, I don't remember how I had to deal with it, I think it was Stuart Strange, try it and see.
wrestler08 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 It has happened to me once before, I believe they just fight anyways.
UFC-KING Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 They Fight anyways, but they lose their pay, and it's openweight

Superkevd Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 He'd just refuse to fight because he couldn't make weight.
Tag01 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 It doesn't happen as much in the default database, because all of the fighters are on the standard weight range. (I.E. lightweights walk around at 165, etc.) It is a little more common in Modern Warriors because we try to acknowledge those fighters that cut a lot of weight, like Thiago Alves, Nick Diaz, Gina Carano, etc. Even then, it only happens a couple of times a year at most. Then again, it isn't the most common thing ever in real life, either.
grits207 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 In my current game Rafeal Feijao misses weight before all of his fights.
