Does Size matter?

Recommended Posts

I am playing a game as SWF, I have hit global, mostly off of my 3 great storylines (Jack Bruce/Vengence, Eric Eisen/Christian Faith, and the DaVE Invasion). I was booking my first supreme tv following Awesome impact, I was a little Tired and not aying much attention to the venue I selected. I accidently selected Biker's Paradise, a 300 seat venue. I ran my show, and noticed a few odd things, one the crowd stayed hot even during crappy matches that should have been rated Ds, the lowest match rating I got was a C+....all angles were A or better, My final grade was a B+, the best show I have booked ever, and the main event was Vengence v. Eric Eisen, I had to bring Eisen's momentum down he refussed to Job to Christian Faith at the PPV. The other thing I noticed was that my TV rating increased a lot. So does the smaller venus help the crowd stay hot? improve segment ratings? and TV ratings?
So does the smaller venue help the crowd stay hot? improve segment ratings? and TV ratings?
A full house (which you will get in a smaller venue) supposedly gives a better crowd reaction - can't say I've noticed that too much myself though. If the crowd is hot, then the following angle / match will get a small bonus to it's grade. TV ratings - well if you normally have 20000 watching live, and you run a show at a 300 seat venue - then those other 19700 are still gonna want to see the show - so I would imagine that you get a boost in rating!
Does bringing someones momentum down make them more likely to job with CC ?
Yes - but only slightly more likely - if they were an a**hole about it with high momentum, then they are still very likely to be one even with low momentum!

I've actually wondered about this myself. There's obviously a bonus when you perform a sold-out show. What I've kept asking myself is whether if it's in the better interests to do a sold-out show, or do a show at the bigger venue with it being only mostly filled. (like 800 out of 1000.) In the end, is it about how many people are watching the show? Or is it about maintaining the illusion of sold-out shows, and a higher demand for your product?
