JD Morgan over Zeus Maximillion. Zeus fights like he has nothing left to loose, letting loose with Thunder Bolt Slams early and often. But JD just seems to shake them off. He works on Zeus’s lower back, and eventually locks in the Darkness Stretch, Zeus completely worn down has not choice but to throw in the towel.

Steve ‘solo’ Flash over Freddie Datsun, when the Big Leaguer Bart Biggz interferes, allowing Steve to retain The Sultans Favor. The match was a dead even affair, both men punishing each other, and kicking out of moves that would have feld anyone else in the company. Steve hit a huge Flash Bang, and covered Freddie 1…2… kick out. In frustration Steve stands up and argues with the ref, Biggz appears at ring side and nails Freddie with his big league bat. Steve takes advantage and makes the cover, the ref shakes his head in confusion, but counts the three and awards the victory to Steve.

Perez 101 over Ultimate Dragon by DQ when Last Man Standing attacks, allowing Ultimate Dragon to retain the Tag Titles. Perez 101 was wearing out Snap and Phoenix, neither could catch up to quick tags of the brothers. Frankie went down for a pin, and Phoenix barley kicked out at two, Jonnie went down, and Dragon barley kicked out at two. It looked like a matter of time before the belts switched hands, until Last man standing hit the ring and leveled Frankie and Jonnie with huge boots to the guts, and commanding suplexs over the top rope, spilling Perez 101 to the concrete outside. The ref shook his head, and awarded the DQ win to Perez 101.

The Camera again comes around a corner and spots Ed C and Ali talking, this time they don’t notice the camera, but almost immediately April Appleseed is seen approaching the pair. They greet her, she leans in and whispers something in Ali’s ear, he nods his head. Stops Shakes Ed’s hand, and walks off with an arm around April’s shoulders.

Ed C over Whiskey Jack, the match was billed as a way for Whiskey to see how far his protégé has come. Ed took it as a chance to beat the hell out of his Tag Team partner. Ed hits a hat trick of C sharps, and the match quickly devolves into bloody dismemberment of the Veteran Whiskey.

After Ed mercifully ends the match, he stands and kicks Whiskey once more for good measure, then spits on his fallen team mate,

“Jack you were supposed to make me a star. You were supposed to make me something better, instead you held me back so that you could have one more run with some gold. I don’t need you, I never needed you, and if you ever try to get involved in my career again, this is going to look like a gentle message session.”

So how about to make things interesting, if you can’t beat Eisaku here tonight, well then to show how little power I have, I will add him to your match on Sunday!”

Eisaku over JD Morgan, when Ali botches the interference. Eisaku and JD are fairly evenly matched. Eisaku keeps out of the Darkness Stretch, while JD avoids both the Godzilla Plunge & Nuclear Death Drop. This makes the match more of a game of chess than a slug fest and the crowd is eating it up. Ali appears at ring side, and slowly makes his presence felt. Tripping, smacking and generally abusing Eisaku. After a ref bump leaves the ref struggling to get to his feet, Ali tries to level Eisaku with a chair shot, but E ducks and the steel catches JD instead. The ref comes to just enough to watch E hit the Nuclear Death Drop, and count the three. E will be part of the Title Match Sunday night!

Perez 101 over the Dust Bowl Duo, to win a title shot. The match was stand up from the word go as both Frankie and Jonnie slid into the ring, and began trading blows with the Dou. The referee got the match under control sending Frankie & Jean to the out side. As the match wore on quick tags were made all around, finally finding Frankie nailing Al with the Perfect Parity, and getting a roll up for three.

April Appleseed over Joanne Rodriguez, for the ladies title, with some help from JD Morgan. The match yet again exceeds the norm, as the two ladies tear around the ring. Late in the match, JD appears at ring side, and clocks Jo while the refs back is turned. Jo wobbles right into an Apple Slicer, and April covers for three to become your new Ladies Champion.

Corey Apple Seed climbs into the ring and tells a celebrating April what just happened. At first April looks shocked looking back and forth between Corey and JD. Suddenly April bursts out in laughter, and points at Corey,

“Sorry bro, they could just do more for me than you.”

At this JD spears Corey into the turnbuckle and proceeds to dismantle him.

Ed C over Kenny Kool for the Pride of the Organization, with help from Ali Wanna. The two upstarts turned in one of the best matches of their careers. Nothing but the drama of the title fight to carry this match, Ed and Kenny kept the fans on the edge of their seats. It looked like Kenny would yet again escape with his bling intact. But Ali distracted the ref and Ed clocked Kool with the belt. Then hit the C sharp and rolled Kenny up for the win.

“the One man wrecking crew” Freddie Datsun and “the Big Leaguer” Bart Biggz to double DQ. These two men could not keep the action inside the ring. Huge moves onto the steel ramp. A DDT through the announce table. And a scaffold throw and the ref repeatedly ordering these two back into the ring. Finally the ref gave up even trying and declared the match a double DQ for excessive use of foreign objects.

Last Man Standing over Ultimate Dragon for the tag titles. This match stood on it’s own, no interference, little or no cheating, just straight hold for hold wrestling. The Dragons tried to take the match to the air, but were grounded by the power of Ruiz and ground into the mat by the technical skill of Marc Speed. Eisaku over Steve “solo” Flash and JD Morgan to win the Sultan’s Favor, when Eisaku capitalizes on Dark Reigns inference. There was no one man who dominated this match. JD dealt out huge amounts of punishment, only for Steve to swing the match in his own favor. Steve then dealt out Flash Bangs and got near falls on both men. Eisaku came back to deliver a Nuclear Death Bomb to both men, but it was not enough to secure the win. Dark Eagle and Dark Angel wandered down to the ring and began to distract JD asking him how he could sell them out. This cost JD his focus and he ate a huge Nuclear Death Drop, and a flow up Godzilla plunge. A quick roll up and Eisaku was your new champion. Steve tried to break up the pin attempt but was a half second to late to save his title.

The Duo become a little frustrated, and begin to ignore the rules in favor of inflicting damage on Speed & Ruiz. The Referee becomes tired of telling the Duo to behave and throws the match out, awarding the win to LMS.

Nick Lopez over Zeus Maximillion. Zeus takes control early, but he just can not keep Nick down for the three. Lopez battles back, but gets stopped dead in his track by a Thunder Bolt from Zeus 1..2..NO!!! Zeus pulls Nick up and delivers, no Nick reverses it into the Lopez Buster, he rolls Zeus up and manages to hold Zeus down just long enough to walk away the winner.

“the Ice Man” Alex Braun and “The Big Leaguer” Bart Biggz, to a double disqualification when the ref can’t keep either man from continually cheating. The Iceman seems to have an endless supply of brass knuckles, and no matter how many times the ref pulls the ball bat out of Bart’s hands, it seems to find it’s way back into them. When the referee grows tired of taking the foreign objects away from both men, he calls for a double disqualification and ends the match.

That is until Nick Lopez caught both men with a double Bull Dog. Nick then proceeded to dismantle both men, as the referee called for the bell and threw the match out.

Ali how ever was there to protect the corporate interest and did so actively. Allowing April to catch a distracted Wanda with the Apple Slicer and roll her up for three.

Freddie Datsun over Alex Braun and Bart Biggz. Alex was not really looking for an apology, which was quite evident when he started swinging the second Bart and Freddie stepped through the ring ropes. The Big Leaguer took early control of the match, but took a Braun Buster, and a back body drop over the top rope to take him out of the rest of the match. Freddie and Alex then squared off trading huge blows. Both men saw their share of offense, until Alex hit the Braun Buster. Freddie kicked out at two, battled back and landed the Steamroller Press, and covered for a strong three count. Though no man could really call this a win, as all three needed help making their way to the back.

JD Morgan over Dark Eagle and Dark Angel. Dark Reign work this more like a handicap match than a triangle match. But when it comes time to make the cover some cracks form, then some pushing and shoving, then an all out brawl. This gives JD time to recover, and before long Dark Eagle is in the Darkness Stretch. Dark Angel comes to break it up, but JD pulls Eagle right into the big boot, and Dark Angel takes out Dark Eagle. JD, then out wrestles Dark Angel, locks in the Darkness Stretch and forces Angel to submit.

Eisaku over Steve ‘solo’ Flash, to retain the Sultan’s Favor. This is Steve’s return match, that is a return shot at the title, his return to the ring, and in his mind his return to being champion. Eisaku has other ideas, and the two light up the ring. The fans are all standing as the match comes to a closes. E hits the third in a series of Godzilla plunges, the previous two have not kept Steve down and the fans just know this one won’t either. 1..2..3 NO, NO! kick out, Steve turns to the referee, but the ref shakes his head, it was a fraction of a second to late. Eisaku retains the title as Steve beats his hands on the mat in frustration.

It blew my mind too, an A after 9 months, and an A* match.

 

I love Steve, but he's such a wilting flower (atleast in a company with 7 shows a week) that I have to give him long periods of rest, which looses him story line momentum I build up for him. That is why he's been through 3 or 4 "gimmicks" (fed not actually rated on gimmicks, and so they never actually change). I am hoping that Steve does not get lost in the wave of new new talent.

 

Well I haven't been vocal in my support but I have been reading along. I have to say it is very impressive what you have done with this diary. Going from 9 people watching your first show to now drawing 1000. And it was cool to see Flash and Eisaku gave you an A*! Keep up the great work!

 

Thank you for the words. I know it's needy, but after 18 real months, 9 game months. I need just that little something to keep me going to finish out the year. And to be honest the game is letting me down, while grades are up, attendance has tanked and I feel like I am not really growing at all.

Burning Exile over Soul Taker, to reclaim the Slick TV title. The Crowd still on the edges of their seats topped the night off with the TV title match. Burning Exile took Soul Taker to his limits, then pushed a little harder. Soul Taker managed to kick out of a top rope exile driver. Only for Burning to take him back up and drill him from the top rope through the announce table. Both men looked to be out for the count, but Exile managed to roll Taker back in at 9 and three quarters, and cover him to pick up the win.
