ROH: We Don't Imitate... We Innovate!

My MLW Dynasty is dead. I never looked at my owner goals and I kind of accidentally made Steve Corino lose in 2 Dark Matches which caused his popularity (Which needed to be kept high) and his momentum (Also needed to be kept high) to drop... which therefore cost me to get fired from MLW :(
Ring of Honor: We Don't Imitate... We Innovate! -----Our story begins in June of 2002 with the small Philadelphia Independant Promotion Ring of Honor. Ring of Honor (Owned by Gabe Sapolsky, Cary Silkin and RFVideo.com owner Rob "I'll pretend you said 18" Feinstien.) has put on three shows this year so far each with very strong cards and have very quickly been thrust into the Internet/Tape Trader Community spotlight. Having already had three Match of the Year candidates many people feel that ROH is just one big show away from taking it to the next level. What stands out about ROH unlike other independant companies is its talent roster has a vast majority of homegrown stars while other independants rely on former Big 3 Names to fill up there Main Event Matches. Ring of Honor's first event in this story is "Road to The Title" which is a prelude to there July Show "Crowning a Champion" which will feature a Four Way 30 Minute Ironman match between four men who qualify for the match at "Road to the Title". Ring of Honor is of course a Philadelphia company through and through at the moment but many people feel by the end of 2002 they will announce dates in other cities. ROH has also decided to go with a more pure wrestling style and has cut off many people from the first three ROH Shows (The Carnage Crew, Don Juan, Biohazard, Rudy Boy Gonzalez, Ring Crew Express and Christopher Street Connection if you want to name names) and plan on bringing in more international talent as well as more of the United States most gifted wrestlers.
June Ring of Honor Newswire: -----Ring of Honor has a lot of exciting news leading into our June Event. Ring of Honor has let The Ring Crew Express, The Carnage Crew, Don Juan, Biohazard and Rudy Boy Gonzalez go due to differences between the individuals and the direction of the Ring of Honor product. Each person/persons released may be brought back in down the line but the current direction of Ring of Honor is floating away from them. Ring of Honor is also saddened to learn that 1/2 of the Natural Born Sinners Boogalou has retired from the professional wrestling world. This leaves the other half of the Sinners left in Ring of Honor to compete in solo competition. -----Ring of Honor is joyed to announce that the Pennsylvania Wrestling Commission has given ROH permission to use competitors under the age of 18 at Ring of Honor Events due permitting Mark Briscoe to wrestle at the "Road to the Title" ROH Show in June. ROH has also signed four independant talents to debut at the Road to the Title show. New England standout and Killer Kowalski student "Broadway" Kenn Phoenix is set to debut at Road to the Title along with Midwest Tag Team/Student and Teacher Combo CM Punk and Ace Steele and Florida Wrestler Roderick Strong (Who is known for his vicious Backbreaker variations). Ring of Honor broadcast booth member Steve Corino has announced his unretirement from Pro Wrestling and will be featured on the Road to the Title show as well. -----The biggest piece of ROH News this month however is a change of venues for our Road to the Title show. Ring of Honor has been extremely pleased with doing business at the Murphy Rec. Center but we feel that the company has outgrown the Rec. Center and we have come to an agreement with what we feel is a great new Philadelphia home. Starting at Road to the Title ALL ROH Philadelphia events are set to take place at the "New Alhambra Arena" aka the Old ECW Arena. We of course know this a huge step up from our humble beginnings in the Murphy Rec. Center but we feel that our attendance numbers will show why we have made such a drastic move so soon in our tenure as a promotion. ROH ROAD TO THE TITLE PREVIEW: Saturday Week 3 June 2002 New Alhambra Arena (Philadelphia, PA) "Broadway" Kenn Phoenix vs. Spanky ROH Wrestler Spanky welcomes New England Wrestler Kenn Phoenix into Ring of Honor with a 1 on 1 match to open up the Road to the Title Show. Many in the professional wrestling world have been singing the praises of Phoenix recently as he is definitely a commodity and is only 16 years old. Spanky however isn't too pleased about him being excluded from the Road to the Title Qualifying Matches and one should believe that will show in his performance against the debuting Phoenix. However they have quite a challenge ahead of them as they face off with the debuting 2nd City Saints of CM Punk and Ace Steel for the first time. Punk and Steel know each other pretty well as Steel trained Punk but can they possibly become as strong of a unit as the Briscoe Brothers Tag Team Tandem? Crowning a Champion Four Way Ironman Qualifying Matches: Paul London vs. Michael Shane Texas Wrestling Academy Students (And close friends) Paul London and Michael Shane go one on one in the first Fatal Four Way qualifying match Doug Williams vs. Bryan Danielson ROH welcomes British Technician Doug Williams back to the states as he is set to take on American Dragon Bryan Danielson in a qualifying match for the Fatal Four Way at next month's "Crowning a Champion". These two men have been at each others throats since the inception of Ring Of Honor and ROH Matchmakers have agreed only one man has the right to advance to the Fatal Four Way Ironman at Crowning a Champion. These two seem to hate each other more every time they step foot into an ROH Ring. Will the New Alhambra Arena be able to maintain these two men in there biggest battle to date? PLUS THE DEBUT OF RODERICK STRONG, JOEY MATTHEWS/CHRISTIAN YORK, XAVIER AND MANY MANY MORE! Ring of Honor Quickpicks: Spanky vs. Kenn Phoenix CM Punk and Ace Steel vs. The Briscoes Paul London and Michael Shane Bryan Danielson vs. Doug Williams Jerry Lynn vs. Steve Corino Low Ki vs. Christopher Daniels
