cappyboy Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008
TEW2004 -> 21CW TEW2005 -> 21CW TEW2007 -> ROF TEW2008 -> TCW I used to always be 21CW until they got the big ownership and tv time, i just dont play enough to get used to a full fledged sports entertainment company, i switched to ROF for TEW 2007 but with hardlies any changes in 2008 i gave one of the big two a try and im always TCW now.
Like this chart idea. For me it would run 2004: AWA (specialized in DOTT then) 2005: Didn't have one. Had a hard time getting into 05 2007: TCW. They were used the right degree of broken. 2008: USPW They are this year's TCW.
Astyn Posted November 1, 2008 Posted November 1, 2008 id have to go with TCW i just love everybody on the roster i just completely fall in love with TCW due to 3 of my top 5 superstarts being on the roster
Eisen-verse Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 SWF. As others have said, the best characters in the game. I'm trying to get into USPW and PSW (very opposite but fun none the less). I like that USPW is at cult level so you can build them up propperly and can sign big enough wrestlers to try to challenge the big two. however, I've found it hard to really get into their ultra-American persona (Believe me, I love my country... but... It just seems hokey). PSW has been a lot of fun too, however, with such a heavy focus on hardcore wrestling makes it seem like less of a wrestling company and more of a violent fighting league. All in all, Those are my fav's with the SWF being the main leader in that department.
Cyberknight Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 A QAW/CWWF partnership is my favorite because of it's "underdog and alternative" direction. Starting at the bottom and working your way up to the top is the challenge.
hrdcoresidebrns Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 My favorite for years has been PGHW, just for the sheer quality of their worker and their amazing product, where pretty much anybody that has wrestling ability can get over. However, I've found myself drifting away from them a bit in TEW08, due to the small margin of error they have this year due to the more difficult match ratings, and since have found a new found love for GCG. The product is similar, they have an amazing core of loyal workers, and are of a smaller size, so you get the thrill of moving them up from regional to cult, cult to national, and so on.
FINisher Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 I think that GCG is one of the best promotions in Cornellverse ever, if not the best. I think that some people are really overlooking their roster and the amazing talent they've got. Sometimes I feel that people are focusing too much on the big companies. There are truly fantastic promotions in the cverse that are below the National size.
