W.A.S. Power Rankings ~ Week 10

After a week hiatus due to a busy schedule, the WAS is back and stronger than ever. - After beating Texas, Texas Tech is rightfully the number one team in the W.A.S. power ranking, while Texas falls to number 3. - I have no idea how it came to be, but Minnesota gained two spots after falling to Northwestern. Granted their SOS, CONTROL, and YARDS rankings improved, but still it's odd to see them gain spots in the Top 25. Of course, next week they are playing the Wolverines which most likely means that they'll drop in the rankings due to Michigan's poor record. Got to love power ranking logic. - LSU is still not in the W.A.S. Top 25 and Alabama is still not considered the best team in the SEC. Next week looks to be the make or break game for both teams as a Bama win means that the Tide are going to the SEC Championship game. W.A.S. Top 25 1. (6) Texas Tech 2. (2) Oklahoma 3. I really need to start betting against teams in the AP poll, but not in my WAS rankings. Everyone but Pitt seems to lose. W.A.S. Top 25 Results 1. (6) Texas Tech (W, #8 Oklahoma St., 56-20) 2.
