Hi everyone, Sorry for the recent lack of updates regarding WMMA2; it was simply because the initial work has mainly consisted of fairly boring work to update and enhance the existing code to create the foundation for the game, and so there has been nothing to write about. That said, the game is starting to take shape and is looking like it'll be leaps and bounds ahead of the original in every aspect. I'm still not sure about an exact release date, but I'd like to think we'll be looking at a day in February or March at the latest. My current plan is to start the developer's journal at the beginning of January, and take the same route as we did with TEW08 which is to have a new entry every weekday between then and the release of the game.

I Can't Wait, I've loved this game I've played WMMA and TEW and I've found WMMA has much more potential to reach out to much more of a fanbase I'm not saying that wrestling isn't bad because I do love TEW, but that WMMA has the potential to be a much more well thought out game

Any new or revised features known to be in WMMA2? Do you accept suggestions? Some ideas to expand upon WMMA include: -- Allow more weight classes. -- Also allow us to customize the weight classes defined in global rankings too. I like to use my own weight system throughout all companies, but when I view global rankings the weight classes available are all predefined. (For example, in a real world mod, some heavyweight fighters get ranked as superweight since they are over 265, instead of with other heavyweights.) -- Full screen resolution. Widescreen support. I use 1680x1050, so a bigger WMMA window would be nice, especially at getting more info on the screen at once. -- Fighter stat chart (bars or numbers showings strength in different skills) instead of text-based strengths and weaknesses. A way to compare two, or more, fighter's stats side-by-side would be nice too. -- PNG support for all graphics/renders. This would allow for better quality renders at the least, instead of the jagged-edged GIFs. -- More streamlined office. In other words, cut down on the number of buttons/screens one must load to access settings. WMMA has a lot of vacant space that could be used to provide more direct access in the office. -- Seperate the Rankings page so its accessable from the menu. Have the list of weight classes on the left, and clicking one loads the top 20 (yes, 20 instead of 10) fighters. Similar to how the hiring screen is setup. Alright, I could ramble on with more wise ideas, but I have to go put up Xmas lights -- yes, I know, its way too early, but the weather is at least cooperative still, ha.
