Giving ROH a child promotion...

So I want to give ROH a child promotion. I would either make the ROH academy in game or just use FIP for this purpose. My questions are how to get them a child promotion. If ROH was cult could they operate a child promotion under them? Would said child promotion need to be local? How would it happen, and when would it happen, that the child promotion would break its ties with ROH? Thanks.

I think you need to be national but not sure cause you can have a dev promotion thats cult

I am pretty sure you have to be national for the reason that you hae to be national to get written contracts and to send people to development you have to have a written contract

I THINK that at Cult, you can acquire a child promotion, but since you can't offer written deals, which are required to send someone down to developmental, it wouldn't serve any purpose to have one since you must be National to start offering written deals.

i've been told that it can happen at cult but i've been trying with psw since i was told that and hit cult level. No luck yet, is it random or are there and signs to look for that a company will agree to be your child promotion.

I did it on a mod game of mine when I was CZCW (#1 in the world) and I had a child company called CZCW 2. I rigged it so it was max that it could get popularity straight away. and I set the guy to be extremely loyal to me, so he wouldn't bail.

Although a child promotion can achieve the requirements to become a cult promotion, they'll never actually rise above Regional whilst still a child promotion. They can, as far as I know, rise to 100% popularity all over the world, but if they're still a child promotion they'll still be listed as regional. As for size restrictions, you can theoretically get a child promotion at any size (although nobody is going to accept the offer if you're below cult, realisitically). However, you can't sign developmental contracts until you're National because they're classed as written deals. Note that the AI can do so because it 'sends' people to development rather than signs them there, so an AI cult fed can use a development territory. Whereas a player cult fed, while it could still get a development fed in some circumstances (I've never managed to...), couldn't use it yet.
