tristram
I'll start with two on my "what the hell happened to them, where are they now" list.... Alannis Morissette... I remember when she hit the scene her and No Doubt were massive, Gwen Stefani became something, but Alannis seems to have fizzled out? (She was ugly as hell though I have to say). Fred Savage... You know, Kevin Arnold. That kid was the sh!t.
Akki
Don't know about Fred, but his brother was on Chuck as a guest star. His wife was played by Nicole Richie. Weird.
Prophet
Didn't Alannis Morissette release an album last year, or earlier this year? Could've sworn she had some new material out fairly recently, but I could be mistaken.
tristram
Was it sh!thouse hippy stuff? I mean Jagged Little Pill had something to it... but I could just see her being a tree hugger let the rug grow out feminist seeking Joan Baez songs... Prophet
Morissette's seventh studio album, Flavors of Entanglement, which was produced by Guy Sigsworth, was released in mid 2008.
From wiki. I haven't heard anything off it, so I can't say how hippy it is. I also found this ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W91sqAs-_-g Morissette covering "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas. It's .. something.
Stennick
Fred Savage just directed an episode of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia I believe. He mainly directs now days. Funny that the brother on Boy Meets World has found the most work since that show ended. Topenga seemed destined for stardom with how hot she was. BlueStar
Best not to mention Morrissette...perhaps she'll go away then. She released a new album last year and still sounds like a overage turkey that's being strangled... Hearing her "music" just makes me....angry. SuperOwens
Its that's 'ironic' song that does it. Always had me shouting that rain on your wedding day doesn't constitute irony. Look it up, look it up women!!!
FINisher
What's with the Alanis hate? Sure there are a lot of worse singers in the world, besides I think she's pretty. ^^ + some good lyrics.
G-Prime
The only thing ironic about 'Ironic' is that it was written by a woman with no actual concept of what irony is.
Astil
Random fact. Alannis is canadian and was on YCDTOTV.
infinitywpi
Alanis' cover of My Humps was brilliant. Singing it as a slow, sad song of regret about being used? And the video that went with it... Funny stuff. Fred Savage had a minor attempt at being a non-child-star when he became an adult, where he worked in a Dilbertian office... I think it lasted two seasons. Pity; I think it was just as funny as The Office is now. It was just done at a time where Dilbert was considered a comedy, not a documentary. panix04
Fred savage was in one of the austin powers movies and appeared as a guest star on boy meets world, I happened to catch that episode, it was wierd, 'cos he was playing a lecturer who was a bit of an ******* and kept hitting on Topanga, who was hot in a "man, I shouldn't really find someone of that age attractive kinda way" - having googled her, she is the same age as me, so i can ogle guilt free - woo hoo! I was a big fan of jagged little pill, I was 14(ish) when it came out, so was the right age to be into Alanis, her second albumn, supposed former infatuation junkie, was garbage! Even the single, "thank you" which I think charted quite well was pretty dire! I kept on buying her albumns in the hope she would recapture the magic of her first albumn, but alas it never quite happened, there are a few good tracks on her other albumns "hands clean" being a notable example, it received a bit of airplay here in the UK but should have done better, however the albumn it came from is mediocre at best. On the subject of where are they now, what happened to the new radicals? They had a huge hit with "you only get what you give" and then faded to obscurity! I loved that tune! treton
For the New Radicals. The lead singer quit the band after their big hit, and became a music producer I believe.

Just quit his own band and started writing for others.

Masked Superstar
Fred Savage was also in the movie Welcome to Mooseport with Gene Hackman & that Ray Romano guy not to to to long ago. He was actually one of the few people I laughed at in that movie. I just watched that movie "The Wizard" the other day which was a kickass flick when I was a kid. ThriceP86
Panix, it's fine if you like The Kaiser Chiefs. I just don't swing that way. ;) So whatever happened to Fiona Apple? I heard "Criminal" on my campus the other day and then started to wonder about her. It's too bad if she's not around anymore because she's got a great voice.
