1) I have a tv contract, and i was wondering if just appearing on the show increases ones popularity? Does it vary; more if they win less if the lose, worse yet does it drop if they lose? 2) What exactly is the purpose of a dojo? 3)Has anyone managed to get Tommy Cornell on a loan, because i highly doubt he'll sign away from his own promotion? 4) What determines the increase of an events prestige? Is it a set amount each time the event is ran?

1) Appearing in a TV segment rated higher than a worker's popularity will increase it, I believe 2) Dojos are mostly flavour - a point of origin for randomly generated workers in your game. I believe that they may influence the quality/skillset of the the graduates, but they can turn out duds as well. 3) I've never tried to take Tommy on loan. But I seem to remember trying with with Puerto Rican Power, and I beleive that company owners will not go out on loan for any reason. 4) Having just had my first prestige increase last night, this is something I'd like to know as well :D My best guess is that it has to score higher than a minimum quallity, and be a certain amount better than your popularity.importance/prestige... But that's just a guess. Anyone?

I have gotten Cornell on loan. It was for one of the Stones pretty sure it was Dan Jr. EDIT: Went into the game and it was for McFly not a Stone. But yes ya can nab him on loan. It is possible. But as Casey said that ya can't grab an owner on loan, I am PRETTY SURE that in 07 this was the case. This is new to 08 maybe??
2) What exactly is the purpose of a dojo?
They are for "Flavor" and they do allow some generated workers to come out of that dojo with a better skill set in one area, set for that dojo. They can also be used to link current workers to a dojo like for example you could link all of the real day wrestlers that came out of Killer Kowalski's school for those gunning for a complete bio.
To loan Tommy, he must not be champion, the worker traded should be at least equal to his popularity in the USA, and his skill should be equal to Tommy (which eliminates nearly 90% of the wrestlers at Cornelverse).
I don't think skill level actually has much to do with it, based on my own talent trade experiences.
5) Will running shows constantly in the only region my tv contract doesn't cover cause more harm than good?
just pointing that one out again i got a new deal and am now broadcast in all of the us, but would still like to know for future references. Also 6) How do i re-negotiate a new time slot with my tv network? 7) I still have yet to get a "child promotion" but would like a little info for when i do. How easily/often do guys improve? I read in another post about using guys as trainers, can anyone elaborate? Which do people prefer, the child promotion or the training camps of yester-year?

And trainers are used to add to the effect, if you have someone great at psyhcology it would help others to improve their physcology faster. If anyone cares about why I'm up at 2 in the morning it's called South Park on Paramount Comedy

8) What impact does a war relationship carry with promotions based in seperate regions? The reason i ask is i'm running PSW and started a working agreement with APW a while back, they didn't want to use half my roster and the ones they would give up ( not a champion) weren't what i was looking for so being at an impass i ended the relationship which they didn't like and declared war, and then... Nothing. I can't end it but it just seems like a pointless relationship to have. 9) Other than figuring out chemistry and a slight to moderate boost of income are their any benefits from running house shows? For example will it increase popularity either regional or worker? 10) Is it a wrestlers individual attitude or their level of fame (for lack of a better term) that determine how many shows they'll "sit out" before they get upset? Thanks in advance and to those who have answered so far. I had a couple other topics in the past that i couldn't find thats why i'm posting all my new questions in this one rather than flooding the board with topics every time a new question pops up.

8. with APW nothing, WAR amplifies the regional and national battles. Plus the dominant promotion can steal the weaker one's promotion. In your case, it means absolutely nothing as both are long way from national and you cant get each other's workers. 9. House Show's other benefits gives your promotion visibility to regions which you dont have access via TV or PPV. If you do not appear in those regions in 5 months you will lose popularity. Furthermore, you only get additional money if you have decent popularity in those areas or else you will lose some petty cash. Finally, your worker also suffer fatigue. 10. Attitude, fame and Position

I didn't want to make a new thread so I'll just ask here: I'm starting a game with NOTBPW and some of the wrestlers are on written contracts but to my knowledge you can't sign written contracts until national? Is this correct? Will I be able to resign workers like Sean McFly to written contracts or will I have to sign them to a regular PPA(assuming I'll still be cult at the time)?

You'll probably be at national by the time it's up. Unfortunately the same can't be said for Jeremy Stone.

I play NOTB alot actually and yeah McFly contract is long due to his injury that he starts with. Those few couple McFlyless months are alittle rough trying to keep the match grades B- or better. If you are not National by the time he resigns I am sure you would lose him, and both Stone brothers Jeremy and Dan Jr. will consider you to small if their contracts come up for renewal with out you growing. Bloodstone is a godsend use him wisely and keep up his momentum. The alittle advice I can give is, Acid is yours for the taking if you choose to grab him. He is Canadian and over enough. After Reed's tour with PGHW comes to an end grabbing him is a smart move as his skills are perfect for the promotion. Also PGHW tends to bring up Stone Yoshikawa (sp?) and then every time they do that they release Bryan Holmes (it has happened like 3 times with me) and he is a great pickup too. I always do and would advice ending the non-agression pact with CGC straightaway. They are your main rival and poaching the talented Chandler and Deeley are good. Steve Flash is of course always a smart pickup. With a TCW talent trade bringing in Tyson Baine is cool as he is over a good bit. Just thought I would letcha know a couple directions I have gone. HAVE FUN MAN! NOTB RULES!!!

Thanks for the friendly advice! I'm really new to the cornellverse so every bit of info is useful. I also spotted Acid while searching for workers and I'll definetly try to sign him... Looks like I'll have to shortlist Reed aswell. Thanks for the help :)

I've never played with NOTBPW myself but every time his contract is up i always see the news announcement that Sean will not re sign with the company. 11) I'm enjoying the working agreements i have but they have raised a concren. Do the losses a worker i loan out, in the company i loan him to, affect his momentum? Will they have an effect on his happiness from amount of losses? 12) Two part question. Does anyone know the amount of cool down time before a worker will agree to negotiate with you again after being released? Also, the cool down time before you can trade talents with a company again(I guess i was enjoying them a little too much)?
13) Urgent help needed how do i exit the angle commentary screen in the editor. I see no way of closing it out?
Save and Close on the bottom right corner? I have a screenmod. :p But the buttons are the same.
11) I'm enjoying the working agreements i have but they have raised a concren. Do the losses a worker i loan out, in the company i loan him to, affect his momentum? Will they have an effect on his happiness from amount of losses?
The momentum is promotion based: He has his own momentum in the other company so No, losses in other promotion will not change his momentum, only his popularity. He's not going to be unhappy to you because of the losses, only to the other promotions head booker/owner.
