Irish Wolf
how long he's been working for the promotion. Other then that I don't know that it has any effect on anything.
Scorpio3060
I believe it will have an effect on the starting salary of a worker with a promotion. For example, a worker who has been with a company for 10 years will make more money than a similar skilled worker who is just starting with a company. Derek B
It also has an effect on whether a worker will re-sign with you. It's quite rare, but sometimes workers will tell you that they want to move on from Company X because they have been with you for a long time. Happened to me in my TEW07 SWF game when Sam Keith left me. Was a shame, he was one of my key figures so Christian Faith had to pick up the slack. :)
eayragt
It can also affect who an owner fires when downsizing, depending on their style (some will stay loyal to promotion veterans), I've been led to believe.
