Derek B
You can't see the progress after a game has started, but the data at the start usually has a group of workers ready to go with their stats. In the Cornellverse there are a number of people already inducted, a few who are guaranteed to be inducted upon retirement and some with some partial stats filled in towards reaching the criteria. As you play through the game those stats are updated behind the scenes, and upon retirement (or shortly afterwards) you get a news article from the game saying that someone is being inducted into the HOI. Dread is usually the first guy I see being inducted.
blackhart00
alright thanx. Well ive started a game with real life rosters so do you happen to know the points the person gets for certain achievements??? because if i knew how many points a person gets for each thing then i can keep track myself during the game
pepper2008
Basically if you win Four Main Event Title in a National and Higher guarantees you a spot.

Bigpapa42
Experimenting a bit, it sure seems the title wins mean less than the other criteria. Which makes sense, I guess. Being a national icon or the top wrestler in the world over the course of a year would mean more than one or two title reigns, which might have been short. Tigerkinney
Has anyone had any glaring omissions from the HOI in any of their games. I was actually shocked/saddened when the BHOTWG Junior Division legend that is Optimus was not inducted into the Hall of Immortals in my diary game, despite the fact that he is hypothetically one of the most influential Junior Heavyweight's in he history of wrestling (I see him as the Cornellverse equivalent of Liger) and had won the Burning Junior Championship on nine occassions and the Best of the Super Juniors cup twice. Elemental II's in there, and he won the Burning Junior Championship, a mere six times !
Derek B
I just had a look at Optimus... you can add 1 to any of the qualifications required to get in and he would be there. He's sooooo close but not quite in because the Junior belt isn't considered a major title due to it's midcardness. As for either Elemental... they were always (in my head) the main draw of the Junior divisions and the #1 star. Optimus may have more title reigns, but he seems to have always played second fiddle to the Elementals despite clearly being a major star in his own right. pepper2008
Optimus and the Elementals have put the Juniour Division at par witht the Heavyweight Division during their heydays. Too bad on game the Juniour Titles are considered as Mid Titles
EdgeHeaD
I've been playing my current game for nearly a year of game time and only Undertaker has gone into the HOI.

What popularity is an Icon B+, A or A+? What classifies as a legendary event event? What classifies as a rating is needed for a show stealer (A or A+)

So the US, Canada, Japan, etc. A Legendary event is an event that has Legendary importance. In the default CornellVerse database, that is the Supreme Challenge and Night of the Burning Hammer. Show Stealer is A*.
pepper2008
So your Popularity must be an A+, hmmmm easy enough:D

The A* rating starts at 95.1%. So you could easily have a worker at A* through the whole game area but when you look in the editor, its really only 96% in each region. 100% in a game area is doable, but it isn't easy. Don't honestly know if you have to maintain it for any length of time for it to count. I doubt it.
