Your Favorite Mods Of 2008

So we have seen the slammy's so now i figure it's time to do our own for the 2008 TEW mods.

So let everyone know what is your favorite TEW 2008 mods

 

Favorite real world based mod (s): Mine would be WOTI,As the title turns and the 91 mod.All are excellent

 

Favorite Fantasy based mod (s): Bob Inc's Breaking Barriers Mod

 

Favorite Cornell Verse based mod (s) Allen verse 97 and Derick B's Cornell Verse 97

 

Favorite pic pack (s) or other programs:Bob inc colour pic pack

 

The mod (s) you have spent the most time playing in:Tommy's WOTI but the rest are catching up

 

Favorite Diary(s):Sorry cant answer this one i like them all:D

 

I Want to finally say thank you to all the mod makers diary writers and to everyone who helped contribute to TEW for making this a great game for everyone to enjoy.

And to Adam Ryland for creating such a wonderful game as is all of his games.

Favorite Past Real World Mod - 91/92 Mod This mod I played 91 WCW and just loved it, it gave me my first ever A show, thank you Dusty Rhodes for jumping ship back to WCW in the first month and allowing me to feud Sting/Rhodes vs. Horseman

 

Favorite Fantasy Real World Mod - WOTI - Its the ultimate Death of the Territories only in a fantasy land. Tommy is the king at creating these type of Mods, After the Fall, WOTI, just classics IMO

 

Favorite Current Day Real World Mod - Know Your Role I haven't played Bobincs but KYR is the only real world mod I've played this year and I gotta say if I still gave a **** about the real world wrestling I'd be all over this one.

 

Favorite Cornellverse Mod - Default data I've played the 97 mod, I've played a self converted 75 mod, I've created offshoots where I add promotions, however nothing compares to the default Cornellverse, USPW, TCW, SWF, Mexico, 4C, ROF, CGC, NOTBPW I've had fun playing all these promotions.

 

Favorite Past Cornellverse Mod 97 Cornellverse Technically all we have is 75 and 97 and 75 hasn't been updated none the less Derek's mod is amazing.

 

Favorite Real World Pick Pack - CW Saton - I never cared for the kyky background that seems to be the default. Although the cuts are usually just fine the background just seemed to dull, no dark for me. I know CW didn't create the background but the high standard he has for cuts such as within five years, and very high quality pics you know your getting quality stuff out of him.

 

Favorite Cornellverse Pick Pack - Finishers Alts Pic Pack - Finisher has inspired me to sign and push so many guys just by updating or altering their look all together.

 

Favorite Mod - Default Cornellverse Like I said earlier I like a lot of other mods, heck I got WOTI, 75 verse, 97 verse, our draft mod verse, the 91 verse, KYR verse, Montrealverse but nothing gets played half as much as the default Cornellverse

 

Favorite Diary: J Silvers USPW, James Casey MAW, Infinity's CZCW

I would say my favorite promotion in the game is USPW. It saddens me I've seen so many diaries start the same way this year. Bruce the Giant turns heel on James Justice, push Devine to the moon, etc. Silver was USPW before USPW was cool.

 

James Casey's MAW this guy actually made you care more about his personal character in a lot of ways than individual characters in the game. Who is the one character you can control and stop from leaving or doing something stupid? Yourself, James has truly presented this as a story about James Casey booking MAW and not a story about MAW results. I'd like to see other writers this talented take on this point of view. Honorable mention to Secrets of the Ring Volume 2 in that regard.

 

Although I haven't read Infinity's from cover to cover I always check in for his great sense of humor and for the consistency, it seems he's always here and always putting out great product, thats tough to do when you look at how many great writers have either dropped off the face of the planet, stopped writing or had to take long extended breaks.
