[i attempted to start a dynasty before, but my hard drive was erased and data was lost. I'm coming at this with a new angle, hoping to finally achieve some consistency. Sorry for the inconvenience, if any.]

Overview: The Global Wrestling Federation is a promotion founded by me, Jordan Serson. We a promotion composed of Traditional and Modern style as our Key and Heavy features, in that order. Currently we have no roster, staff, or shows. I have founded the promotion straight from my own bank account, and our remaining budget after the initial legal process is 5 Million Dollars. We have a small base popularity due to my name spread in other businesses, we are around 15% in Canada, with Ontario being our main focus and British Columbia coming second.

A small percentage of people who know about the founding of the promotion in the United States, hovers around 5-10% for each state.

The Rising Sun...

Day 1: Most days I would wake up with my agenda, to put it nicely, looking bleak. From job to job, nothing in life really captivating me, I found it was time to start on a new adventure. I'm tired of the same old scenes, the same old things. Repetive motion... I could say, yes, I was quite wealthy, perhaps more than the average person, especially in the area. I knew if I planned smart, I could use the money wisely.

If you're reading this, you are most likely on the offical website for the Global Wrestling Federation, the GWF. I decided what I will do, is found a wrestling promotion. Dreams of epic matches, storylines and characters are running through my mind, but of course, everything takes time... and not every goal is achieved, so success is an option... but that will depend on the cast, not just the starring role.

With money in the bank, and nobody on the roster or staff, I called up some of my associates around the world to get the low-down on who's available and who isn't. Searching tirelessly on the internet for recent firings, I scrambled to send my name out to some lower-level stars I could hope to build a promotion with.

More than talent, more than star power, I'm looking for workers that want to be part of a team looking to succeed - a family. After hours of leaving messages on many peoples answering machines, I await patiently to see who's eager to join in this once in a lifetime quest to become the best.

Thank you for your interest, I'll keep you posted on all the happenings of GWF right here on our official website, stay tuned!

Gaining Some Steam

Day 2: With nothing happening so far, no returned calls, I was a little nervous. However, it is just the first day after foundation.

I know nobody wants to join a promotion without a goal to acheive. They want to be the best, and prove it, so I've founded the very first title the Global Wrestling Federation will ever see, the Universal Championship. I'm assuming it will rise to glory as our main championship belt, but that depends on the path followed by the wrestlers who hold it. I am a man of free will, and as such, support others free will. If they earn the belt, it's not my say as to what they do with it. Surely, if they attempt to defile the title I will place them against the greatest of opponents, but if they still remain victorious then it's their road to pave.

Day 3: I took today off to watch pornographic videos, and wallow in depression since nobody was calling me back.

Day 4: I recieved word that negotiations with both Nigel McGuinness and Doug Williams had failed, as they were not interested in my promotion after both joining NOAH. I sent out a lot of phone calls, I'm hoping at least some will be willing to participate.

Day 5: Finally! It's Friday, Week 1 of October and we have movement, some motion, some opportunity! I was let down when I heard my first three messages on the answering machine: Austin Aries, Teddy Hart and Roderick Strong all shooting me down like skeet. However, plenty more were interested in the offer. Here's an official list of transactions, released here on gwfwrestling.net!

Wrestlers :: Sean Waltman, Eric Young, Jimmy Rave, Ace Steel, Tom Carter, Jimmy Stone, Mark Briscoe, Danny Havoc, Jody Fleisch and Nick Mondo

Referee :: Brian Hebner, Travis Young

After meeting with this workers for the first time, I'm beginning to gain confidence in what the reality of this federation will look like. Sure, it's only beginning, but like a seed planted in fetile soil, in an industry that's hungry for more, it looks like we'll blossom into a beautiful flower... filled with blood, sweat and tears.

GWF's First Show

Day 6: Chris Hero decided to turn down our contract offer, due to loyalty to IWA:MS, but more people came pouring in. Here's a brief look at who signed today.

Announcer :: Ben Jordan

Colour Commentator :: Doc Daniels

Wrestlers :: Johnny Kashmere, Sabu, Keenan Quinn, Milano Collection AT, BJ Whitmer, Arik Cannon, Jose Maximo, Adam Jacobs, Jerry Lynn and Lance Storm.

I found it a massive pleasure that Lance Storm signed to the roster, along with Jerry Lynn. I thought it was a shot in the dark, but with their kind of leadership in the locker room starts might find a beautiful uprising.

With a good amount of stars on the roster, and awaiting their first orders, I decided to set our first show for tomorrow night. The show will be called, "Rising Sun". I can't expect greatness on the first try, but hopefully it will show promise and offer a glimpse into the future.

Day 7: New signings Supreme and Joel Maximo will also be available for the show tonight.

It might seem too early, but there is agreement among the locker room that Lance Storm and Jerry Lynn are the closest to being title holder, so the main event will be set as they face each other for the belt. Which one will carry GWF to destiny? Will the other wrestlers get jealous, or does it seem as though things will go smoothly during this first event. We're here to find out.

[Lance Storm's music plays for the first time, and out comes the superstar himself. Confidence radiates itself from him as he walks down the rampway and into the ring. Lance grabs a microphone and begins to address the crowd.]

Lance Storm: So... this is what they call... GWF?

[The small crowd cheers, proud to be part of the first event.]

Lance Storm: That's nice, but I don't really concern myself with what it's called, it does not matter. This promotion will not be known for it's initials, it will be known for me, it's one true saviour, the messiah of this promotion, Lance Storm. You see, I am only doing this because I am bored, I am only doing this for fun. This promotion? It means NOTHING to me! NOTHING! I know there isn't a damn person in the roster who could fight his way out of a wet paper bag, let alone defeat me. I know I'm Godzilla, and this federation is China.

[The crowd boo's, somebody throws a drink but misses Lance.]

Lance Storm: Nice shot, Jackass...

[Crowd boo's some more.]

Lance Storm: Anyways, as I was saying, if I could kindly ask for your attention... I... am God here. I... am the ruler here, I... am the leader. There is no say, but my say, there is no opinion, but my opinion. I will basically use my time here defeating opponent after opponent until something new comes along for me, and then I will be gone forever, never looking back on this pisspoor promotion.

[Crowd boo's.]

Lance Storm: I will use it, I will abuse it, and then I'll toss it in the gutter like the whore of a promotion it is. There's nobody that can stop me, there's nobody that can try.

[Lance looks around at the crowd.]

Lance Storm: With that being said, let the undefeated era of the legendary Lance Storm, your God, begin!

[Lance drops the mic to a chorus of boo's, as suddenly Jerry Lynn slides in from behind and begins attacking! The bell sounds and the title match is on it's way!]

Universal Championship

Lance Storm def. Jerry Lynn @ 23:04

RATING :: C+

[After the show, Lance Storm celebrates over a falling Jerry Lynn. Pointing and laughing at the fans, saying they're stupid to come to a show of a promotion that will never succeed.]

. . .

Watching from the back monitors, I can see the issue of Lance Storm will be a large one. My hopes were fading and my stomach was churning. Perhaps I could use Lance's momentum to help this promotion gain steam, but if he uses us and turns his back on us, the wrestling world will be laughing at us and we'll lose credibility.

If such is that case, that Lance is planning on doing what he stated... then I have no choice but to find a superstar who can defeat him. Truly, he is the most talented on the roster, but with time great things come to be. Will a hero for GWF arise?
