Issue with Mods

Hello all, Pretty Brand new to this game I have a quick question.

 

I wanted to install a real world mod, following Adams directions in the mod thread has left me to a road block...Im running Windows Vista FYI... I create a new database and when I go to put the files into the folder, the folder does not show up!

 

For Example: I create a database named test...I go into C:\GDS\TEW2008\DATA and there is no test folder..only a default...

 

Anyone know what I can do?
